Summary
Aki drops his head, trying to catch his breath. He aches. His hands are cramping up, his shoulders are sore, his jaw hurts from gritting his teeth for so long. More than anything, he aches with a longing that threatens to carve his heart right out of his chest. He doesn’t understand what happened. Why can’t he get it right? It’s like he isn’t ready to create such perfection yet, isn’t worthy to capture the angel’s divinity.
He looks back at the unfinished bust, surveying his failure. He sighs. After a moment’s pause, Aki smooths out the rest of the angel’s features, leaving those perfect eyes staring back at him and nothing else. He gently cups a hand around the angel’s imperfect jawline, thumb stroking its cheek.
“I’ll find you,” Aki whispers.

Aki Hayakawa, a prominent sculptor in Tokyo's local art community, becomes haunted by vivid dreams of a beautiful angel. When it turns out that the angel is a real person, Aki's patron, Kishibe, pays top dollar for him to model for Aki. Despite the anxiety and distrust between them, the two of them decide to work together to create Aki's masterpiece.

Angel watches Aki get fucked by another man.
"You seriously wanna watch?" Aki asked, anger dissipating from his tone like smoke into the air.
Angel nodded. Aki sighed.
"But I wanna pick who you fuck," Angel said.
Aki's frown came back.
"That's how I can be involved, isn't it? I'm not gonna tell you what to do. Don't you trust me to pick well?"
Aki shook his head. "No."
"Aki. Do you even care who it is? What was that guy's name from last night?"
Aki dropped his cigarette on the pavement and crushed it with his shoe. That was rude as hell, leaving the butt there, but he was beyond caring.
"No women," he finally said.

Summary
Aki is in his first year of grad school, and his upperclassman roommate Himeno is moving away. When on the hunt for a new living situation, he finds a strange trio looking for a fourth roommate. Something is off about Angel, Denji, and Power. Aki would be more determined to figure out what that was if he weren’t so caught up in schoolwork. He can’t help but find himself drawn to Angel in particular.
Angel was lucky to have found two others in his situation. Denji and Power were also demons summoned to the mortal realm and not banished back to Hell. Now, the three of them must face the ultimate obstacle: paying rent. They’re on the hunt for another roommate while trying to hide their demonic status, and maybe Aki is the perfect fit for them. Angel certainly wouldn’t mind having the guy around.
