TEASER
FADE IN:
INT. LITERATURE CLUB - DAY
The club room is decorated for Halloween. Paper plate
pumpkins and foam bats hang on the walls, cobwebs in the
corners, and there's a bowl of candy on the teachers desk.
It's after the club meeting and OC is dressed as a
Ghostbuster, proton pack and all. He's sitting at a table,
reading manga, alone. A masked figure appears in the
doorway behind him. We see through the eyes of the figure
as it creeps up on OC. It's over his shoulder and growls
loudly, making OC scream and almost fall out of his seat.
The figure laughs and takes off its mask to reveal it was
MONIKA!
OC
Not cool, Monika.
MONIKA
Next time don't sit with your back
to the door, it makes it far too
tempting. Besides, I thought you
ain't afraid of nothing.
OC
It's "I ain't afraid of no ghost"
and that doesn't include
werewolves.
MONIKA
It's a really cool costume.
Where'd you get it?
OC
The proton pack I made myself.
OC picks up his pack off the side of the table and puts it
on.
OC
Spent all month making sure the
lights and effects worked how they
should.
(turning his back
to monika)
Care to do the honors?
MONIKA
Uhhh.
OC
And turn on the pack?
MONIKA
Oh.
She flips a switch and the pack lights up. OC unholsters
the particle thrower and shows it off.
OC
Pretty cool, huh.
MONIKA
Yeah.
OC
As for the jumpsuit, I just got it
online. They had a pretty limited
supply so I got stuck with
Venkman. I wanted Spengler.
MONIKA
So what's Sayori dressed as?
SAYORI comes through the doorway with a sheet over her
head.
SAYORI
I'm a spoooooooky ghost.
MONIKA
Seems a little last minute.
SAYORI
I broke my Proton Pack.
MONIKA
That makes sense.
OC
You don't even have it on right.
OC walks over and helps Sayori with her costume.
YURI and NATSUKI walk into the room. Natsuki is dressed in
a very bright pink dress and Yuri looks very similar to how
she normally dresses outside of school.
YURI
Sorry we're late.
NATSUKI
(clapping fist
together)
We had to beat up some punks.
YURI
Or we had some studying to do.
MONIKA
Cute Minori costume, Natsuki.
NATSUKI
Thank you.
MONIKA
And Yuri you're...
YURI
I'm Libertina from Portrait of
Markov.
MONIKA
Isn't that a little on the nose?
Yuri tenses up, grabbing her hair.
YURI
Why would you say that?
MONIKA
Uhhh-
(glances at
camera)
Nothing, you look great.
Yuri loosens up.
YURI
Thank you.
NATSUKI
What are you supposed to be,
Monika?
Monika is wearing a leather jacket, grey t-shirt, and
jeans.
MONIKA
Hold on.
She pulls out a pair of sunglasses and puts them on.
MONIKA (CONT'D)
Eh?
NATSUKI
Fonzie?
MONIKA
I'm the Terminator!
NATSUKI
Ohhhh.
YURI
I never pegged you as the killer
AI type.
MONIKA
Well I am... into it. I'm into it.
OC (O.S.)
There! Now it's on right.
Sayori now has her arms through sleeves and her head in a
hood. A lot better looking then just a sheet.
SAYORI
I can see!
(spots candy
bowl)
Ooo candy!
Sayori runs to grab some candy. Natsuki SWATS her hand
away.
NATSUKI
HEY! None of that bite sized crap.
Tonight we eat like queens.
Natsuki pulls out a map and places it on the desk.
NATSUKI (CONT'D)
This is a map of all of Sunny
Coast. Down at the bottom we have
the poor people. Ya know, the
people that give out bite sized
Reese's, snack sized M&M's, Almond
Joys. That kind of stuff.
Meanwhile, up north we got the
rich folk. I'm talking full sized
candy bars.
MONIKA
I've usually gotten that from any
house I went too.
NATSUKI
You got lucky. This is scientific
research.
YURI
Well I didn't expect to spend our
first Halloween together Trick or
Treating but I guess it's a
fitting first outing.
SAYORI
Then what are we waiting for!?
NATSUKI
Let's hit the streets.
They all run out of the classroom. Sayori comes back and
dumps the bowl of candy into her bag, then runs back out.
END OF TEASER
ACT 1
EXT. HADDONFIELD WAY - NIGHT
Here in the rich part of town, the gang are at a house,
they ring the doorbell. The door opens and they all say
"Trick or Treat". Candy is delivered and they run down the
steps to the next house. Sayori and Natsuki look in their
bag.
SAYORI
You were soooo right! This is the
best Halloween ever!
NATSUKI
See. The science never lies.
DEVIN (O.S.)
Sayori?
Sayori looks up to see a man dressed as a Soldier. This man
is DEVIN.
SAYORI
Devin?
OC pops over Sayori's shoulder.
OC
Who's Devin?
DEVIN
Long time, no see.
Sayori and Devin hug.
OC
Who's Devin?
SAYORI
He and I used to go Trick or
Treating after you went to bed at
eight PM.
Natsuki glares at OC.
NATSUKI
Dude.
OC
They were school nights.
SAYORI
So what have you been up too?
DEVIN
Not much. Bit old to be Trick or
Treating so I'm just making sure
no one gets hurt.
YURI
Why would anyone get hurt?
DEVIN
Razor blades in candy, psychopaths
with fireworks, thieving brats.
Just want to make sure the
neighborhood is safe tonight.
EXT. HADDONFIELD WAY ALLEY - NIGHT
A kid dressed as a COWBOY is walking through a dark
alleyway.
He bumps into someone waiting in the alley. The Cowboy
stops and looks up to see a MASKED FIGURE looming over him.
The figure pulls out a kitchen knife and grabs the kid.
EXT. HADDONFIELD WAY - SAME
Sayori is still talking to Devin when a scream echos
through the air. The gang and Devin jump into action and
run towards it.
EXT. HADDONFIELD WAY ALLEY - CONTINUOUS
They find the kid sitting on the ground terrified.
YURI
What happened?
COWBOY
Someone took my candy.
OC runs towards the other end of the alley to see if anyone
is there. Nothing.
MONIKA
What did he look like?
COWBOY
He had a blue jumpsuit, a white
mask, and a knife.
The kid shows Monika his cut Candy bag handle.
YURI
Wait a minute.
Yuri pulls out her phone and starts typing in it.
YURI (CONT'D)
(showing kid
phone)
Did he look like this?
COWBOY
That's him.
Yuri shows the phone to the others. On it, a picture of
Micheal Myers
YURI
He's dressed Micheal Myers.
SAYORI
The comedian?
YURI
No, the slasher villain.
SAYORI
That makes more sense.
EXT. HADDONFIELD WAY STREET - SAME
OC is looking down the street. He's sees the Masked Figure
watching him from another Alley. The camera shows OC
looking at him, then cuts back to the man and he's gone.
OC
Wait, where'd he go? How did he do
that? I never broke eye contact.
Yuri runs up to OC.
YURI
Did you see something?
OC
Yeah there was a guy. He just
kinda vanished though.
YURI
Then he's still out there.
The rest of the gang has grouped up with them.
SAYORI
We have to stop this guy from
ruining a great holiday!
MONIKA
I thought you hated scary things.
SAYORI
Any day strangers give me free
candy is a day worth celebrating.
YURI
We should split up and try to find
this guy.
NATSUKI
I'm going with Yuri.
OC
Yeah I'll stick with the girl with
Russian military training.
DEVIN
I'll go with Sayori.
OC
Actually, Devin. How about you go
tell the police, and go the other
way of Sayori, so you don't, ya
know, run into her by accident.
DEVIN
I guess I can.
OC
Cool! Just don't go with her and
we'll cover more ground.
Yuri nudges OC and whispers in his ear.
YURI
Laying it on a bit thick, there.
SAYORI
Guess that leaves you and me,
Monika.
The teams walk in opposite directions and search.
EXT. SHAMROCK DRIVE - NIGHT
Sayori and Monika are walking down the road, more chatting
then actual searching.
MONIKA
So tell me more about Devin.
SAYORI
Oh I don't know him too well. We
really just Trick or Treated
together. After a while he started
hanging out with other friends and
spent Halloween watching scary
movies. Those friends weren't the
nicest either.
MONIKA
Well he certainly has OC riled up.
Some kids in Halloween masks bump into Monika while running
past. They have a Pumpkin Mask, Skeleton Mask, And Witch
Mask on.
SAYORI
OC's always been the jealous type.
He gets nervous I'm going to leave
him for cooler boys.
MONIKA
Nonsense. He's the coolest boy in
the club.
SAYORI
For a while he was the only boy in
the club.
They both chuckle. Behind them a man dressed as MICHEAL
MYERS holds up his knife and shouts at them.
MICHEAL MYERS
Hey!
They both turn around.
SAYORI
IT'S HIM!
MONIKA
Run!
They take off down the street, Micheal in pursuit. Sayori
trips on her sheet and falls. Monika runs back to help her
up. Micheal is getting closer. They run into an alley. It's
a dead end. They huddle in a corner as Micheal walks
closer.
MICHEAL MYERS
Hey, you dropped this.
Micheal holds out a wallet and takes his mask off. He's a
rather handsome young man. His name is JASON.
MONIKA
(taking the
wallet)
Oh, my wallet. Thanks.
JASON
Yeah I saw you drop it. My name's
Jason.
MONIKA
Monika. I didn't even notice. If I
knew you were so... Not the killer
I wouldn't have run away.
SAYORI
We thought you were going to kill
us!
JASON
Yeah I heard about that guy. I
guess I should've gone with my
namesake killer instead, tonight.
MONIKA
(laughing too
hard)
Hahahaha! Name sake killer, good
one.
JASON
I should get going.
MONIKA
(nervous
rambling)
Okay, unless you want to come with
us, which you can, but if you have
other places to be that's
understandable.
JASON
Yeah I have some friends with me.
(starts to leave)
See you around.
MONIKA
I'll definitely see you around...
Maybe.
Jason leaves. Sayori turns to Monika with a big grin on her
face.
SAYORI
You have a crush on him.
MONIKA
What!? No! Nononono no. Well he is
pretty cute.
SAYORI
I knew it!
Monika checks her phone.
MONIKA
Come on, Yuri found another
victim.
They both get up and leave.
SAYORI
(singing)
Monika likes a boy, Monika likes a
boy.
EXT. CRYSTAL LANE - NIGHT
People dressed as Police Officers tape off the road. Fake
police lights aluminate the scene as Yuri, Natsuki, and OC
arrive. They're stopped by two people dressed as handsome
FBI Agents known as AGENT HENDRIX and AGENT PLANT
AGENT HENDRIX
(flashes fake fbi
badge)
I'm agent Hendrix, this is agent
Plant. We're overseeing this crime
scene.
YURI
We've been following this crime
all night. We're here to help in
the investigation.
AGENT PLANT
(checks notepad)
I don't see them on the list.
YURI
Your pad is blank. Let us in.
AGENT HENDRIX
She's got us there. Let 'em in.
Plant lifts up the tape and the gang walks in.
At the scene several people are taking pictures with
Polaroid cameras and cataloging evidence, or at least
pretending too.
YURI
Who would attack outside of a
police costume party?
OC
Someone trying to show off?
NATSUKI
Or someone really stupid.
Yuri goes and examines a trail of spilled candy. It appears
to end abruptly.
Natsuki and OC go and listens in on someone interviewing
the VICTIM.
VICTIM
And he had a machete and a ski
mask on with blue triangles on the
cheeks.
NATSUKI
So he's Jason now?
OC
I thought Jason had red triangles.
Yuri pokes her head up.
YURI
Jason has red triangles, but Roy
Burns had blue.
NATSUKI
Who's Roy Burns?
YURI
He was the killer in Part Five: A
New Beginning, after Jason died.
The fans didn't like it so they
brought Jason back in part six.
Sayori and Monika arrive.
SAYORI
What'd we miss?
YURI
This killer has deep knowledge of
these slasher characters. He could
be anywhere, and anyone.
EXT. ELM STREET ALLEYWAY - NIGHT
A TEEN girl is walking through a dark alley, talking
on the phone.
TEEN
Yeah I need you to drive me home.
All these guys are creeps.
Finger Knives flash in front of the camera. A creepy laugh
echo's through the alley.
TEEN (CONT'D)
Hello?
The Masked Figure appears in the alleyway, dressed as
Freddy Krueger. The Teen screams and runs, The Masked
Figure gives chase. She hides in a box next to a dumpster.
The Figure walks slowly down the alley, scraping his knives
against the wall. The girl holds her breath as he passes
by. He walks past her, but turns and grabs her. The girl
panics and kicks him in the stomach. He drops her and she
starts to run again. He quickly catches up and grabs her
once more. He sticks his knives and to her candy bag,
spilling her red vines. He glares into her eyes.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Welcome to prime time, bitch!
He throws her into a discarded television by the dumpster.
He calmly picks up the candy and walks away.
END OF ACT 1
ACT 2
EXT. ELM STREET ALLEYWAY - NIGHT
The gang has arrived at the scene as rain begins to pour.
Natsuki is interviewing the girl.
up.
NATSUKI
Freddy Krueger this time. Okay,
thanks for your time.
Natsuki walks away. OC walks up next to her.
OC
Find out anything new?
NATSUKI
Not really. Same M.O. same target,
the candy.
They group up with Monika and Sayori.
NATSUKI (CONT'D)
The victim did get thrown into
that TV over there.
SAYORI
Why would the killer do that?
NATSUKI
Anger management issues maybe.
MONIKA
Did Jason seem angry to you?
OC
Is that that boy Sayori was
talking about?
MONIKA
Maybe.
NATSUKI
Stay away from him. He could still
be the killer.
YURI (O.S.)
Natsuki! Come take a look at this!
Natsuki goes to help Yuri.
OC sits down on the ground.
OC
(sigh)
All this crime solving got me
beat.
He opens his candy bag and pulls out a large candy bar.
SAYORI
(gasp)
Is that a king size Crunch Bar?
OC
Yeah.
SAYORI
Can I have it?
OC
But it's my only one.
SAYORI
Pleeeeeease?
OC
(sigh)
Fine.
OC hands Sayori the candy. She gleefully skips off with it.
Meanwhile, Yuri is looking at the scratch marks on the
wall, made by the finger knives. Natsuki is behind her.
YURI
This guy is a serious collector.
NATSUKI
Actual finger knives?
YURI
(turning to face
natsuki)
Seems like it.
NATSUKI
He's gotta be running out of
costumes at this point.
YURI
Yes. So far he's had Halloween,
Friday the Thirteenth, Now
Nightmare on Elm Street.
NATSUKI
So next would be?
They hear a chainsaw revving, their eyes grow wide with
fear.
YURI
Texas Chainsaw!
NATSUKI
Texas Chainsaw!
They both turn to see it was CRAIG dressed as Ash Williams.
NATSUKI
Oh you've gotta be kidding me!
CRAIG
Hi, Natsuki. Funny meeting you
here.
NATSUKI
What do you want, Craig?
CRAIG
Oh nothing. I was just in the area
and heard about the candy
stealings, thought I'd stop by.
YURI
Yes, we happen to be investigating
that, so unless you have anything
to help us I suggest you leave.
CRAIG
I can do that, but then you
wouldn't be getting this.
Craig holds up a small plastic card.
YURI
What is that?
CRAIG
A library card, dropped by your
killer.
Natsuki reaches for the card. Craig pulls it away from her.
NATSUKI
Give me that!
CRAIG
I want something in return, first.
YURI
What?
CRAIG
A kiss.
NATSUKI
Never gonna happen, XXL. Aren't
you a bit large to be Ash
Williams? I mean I know Bruce
Campbell ain't what he used to be,
but still.
CRAIG
The size doesn't matter! All that
matters is you're not getting this
card unless I get a kiss.
YURI
(nudging natsuki)
Go on then, Kiss the man.
NATSUKI
What?
YURI
We need this lead.
Natsuki rolls her eyes.
NATSUKI
Fine.
She goes up to Craig, who is smugly perking out his lips
and closing his eyes. Natsuki quickly grabs the card out of
his hand and skips away.
CRAIG
HEY!
NATSUKI
Hail to the king, baby.
EXT. DERRY DRIVE - NIGHT
The rain is coming down hard. Sayori is running with her
candy bar. She trips on her sheet. She drops the bar and it
gets washed away with the rain water. She sees it and
chases after it. It's too late as it goes down a gutter.
She looks down into the gutter, worried. A pair of glowing
eyes illuminate in the darkness and steps into the light.
It's the Masked Figure, this time dressed as Pennywise.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Hi, Sayori.
SAYORI
Oh hey mister clown. Have you seen
a candy bar?
THE MASKED FIGURE
(holds up candy
bar)
Is it this one, right here?
SAYORI
(gasps)
That's it! Can I have it back?
THE MASKED FIGURE
You seem like a nice girl, with
lots of friends.
SAYORI
Yeah, they're busy investigating a
crime.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Aw that's too bad. I bet they left
you all alone.
SAYORI
Yeah. Uh how did you get in the
sewer?
THE MASKED FIGURE
Storm blew me away. Blew the whole
circus away.
OC (O.S.)
(in the distance)
Sayori!?
SAYORI
I should get going.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Don't you want your candy bar
back?
SAYORI
Oh I almost forgot.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Here, take it.
Sayori reaches for the candy bar, candy bag in her other
hand. The Masked Figure quickly reaches for the bag. Sayori
screams and jumps away from the sewer, dropping the bag.
She crawls away crying as a hand reaches out from the sewer
and drags the bag down with it. OC runs to Sayori and holds
her.
SAYORI
(distraught)
The Sewer Clown took my candy!
The rest of the gang finds them.
MONIKA
What happened?
OC
He's in the sewers. That's
probably how he's getting around.
NATSUKI
He can't get away with this. It
doesn't matter how many people on
the street he hits, once he attacks
one of our friends then it's war.
YURI
Then it's a good thing we have a
name.
EXT. DERRY DRIVE - LATER
The gang is standing under an overpass out of the rain.
Yuri is on the phone with someone.
YURI
Uh huh, da. Okay thanks.
(hangs up)
That was my contact at the
library. Our killer is one Victor
Craven. Apparently in the last
week he's checked out every
slasher film they have and his dad
works in the sewer.
NATSUKI
Then let's go get this guy.
OC
Are we really going into the
sewers for this? Can't we just
tell someone who's job it is to
get him?
YURI
He hurt Sayori. This is personal.
SAYORI
Yeah let's get him!
OC
Alright. Lead the way.
EXT. WOODSBORO SEWER GRATE - NIGHT
The grate is cracked open for them by a CONSTRUCTION
WORKER.
YURI
Thank you for your help, sir. My
thanks also goes to the city for
its help.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER
Don't thank me. I'm just dressed
as The Village People.
He walks off with a soldier, police officer, cowboy, biker,
sailor, and Native American.
They climb into the sewers
INT. SEWERS - CONTINUOUS
They drop down into the dark and murky sewer, flashlights
at the ready.
YURI
Let's split up and search for
clues.
OC
Someone had to say that tonight.
OC walks past and unholsters his Particle Thrower for
protection.
OC (CONT'D)
Sayori, you're with me.
SAYORI
Okay!
Sayori skips along with him. Yuri, Natsuki, and Monika go
the other way.
INT. SEWERS - NORTH SIDE - NIGHT
OC and Sayori cautiously search the maze of sewer pipes. OC
is in front and guarding Sayori, ready to blast anything
coming their way.
OC
So have you seen Devon anymore
tonight?
SAYORI
You really want to talk about this
now?
OC
I'm just asking.
SAYORI
Well no, I have not.
OC
Okay, But if you did-
SAYORI
Look.
Sayori spins OC around to face her.
SAYORI (CONT'D)
We hung out on Halloweens every
once and a while, but you were
there with me for all the other
times. All the hard times, all the
sad times, all the happy times.
You have nothing to worry about,
I'm not leaving you.
OC smiles
OC
Thanks Sayori. I'm not leaving you
either.
Sayori smiles.
OC sees something behind her. She turns around to see
something glistening in a gutter. They examine it closer to
see its a piece of candy stuck to the side. The gutter
leads to the Cop Costume party.
OC
That's why he attacked the party.
He new about the gutter.
SAYORI
And he came back to collect the
bag afterwards.
INT. SEWERS - SOUTH SIDE - SAME
Yuri, Natsuki, and Monika explore cautiously as well. They
pass a door with a broken lock.
YURI
This looks freshly broken.
The others turn to her as she opens the door.
INT. SEWERS - KILLERS ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Inside is what appears to be an unused locker room, filled
with a collection of weapons and costumes, all from various
slasher flicks.
MONIKA
This guy is a serious collector.
YURI
These were all used in one of the
attacks.
NATSUKI
But where's all the candy?
YURI
Good point. Look around.
They begin searching the room. Natsuki searches all the
lockers, each with a costume in it. Yuri digs through the
weapons laying on a table.
NATSUKI
Guys, we have a problem.
They turn to her. She's opened an empty locker, clearly
having had something removed from it recently.
NATSUKI (CONT'D)
This one's missing.
INT. SEWERS - NORTH SIDE - SAME
OC and Sayori are still looking through the gutter when
they hear someone walking towards them. They panic and try
to hide in a corner.
OC
(whispers)
Turn my pack off.
SAYORI
How?
OC
Just flip the switch.
SAYORI
Which switch?
OC
The one on the bottom.
Sayori hits something and the pack falls off and hits the
ground with a thud, leaving OC with only the Particle
Thrower. The Masked Figure, dressed in a black cloak turns
its head towards the sound.
OC
Not that switch, the other one.
Just as the Figure turns the corner Sayori hits the switch
and the pack goes dark.
The Figure searches the area, a large sack hangs over his
shoulder. OC covers his mouth to try and not let his
breathing reveal them as the Figure stands directly in
front of them. The Figure turns away and leaves the same
way he came. They both start quietly running away.
SAYORI
(quietly)
But what about your pack?
OC
I'll make a new one.
INT. SEWERS - KILLERS ROOM - NIGHT
Yuri opens the door and lets Sayori and OC in.
SAYORI
We saw him.
OC
He was caring the candy somewhere.
MONIKA
That probably means he's ready to
get out.
NATSUKI
We need to catch him before he
disappears.
YURI
This may be our only chance, and I
have a plan, and his phone number.
MONIKA
How'd you get that?
YURI
My library insider found it.
NATSUKI
They seem to know everything.
YURI
Exactly, that's why you don't piss
off anyone in the library.
SAYORI
Well let's get this guy and get my
candy back!
YURI
Alright, here's the plan.
INT. SEWERS - MAINTENANCE TUNNEL - NIGHT
Yuri is waiting alone with her phone and candy bag. She
calls the number, The Masked Figure picks up.
THE MASKED FIGURE (O.C.)
(over phone)
Hello?
YURI
Is this the right number?
THE MASKED FIGURE (O.C.)
I don't think it is.
YURI
Is this Victor Craven?
The figure pauses.
THE MASKED FIGURE (O.C.)
Who's asking?
YURI
Someone who's followed your work
very closely.
THE MASKED FIGURE (O.C.)
(chuckles)
So what do you want to know?
YURI
What's your favorite scary movie.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Uhh, I don't know.
YURI
You have to have a favorite. Based
on that answer I'm sure you do. I
think you saved the best for last.
THE MASKED FIGURE (O.S.)
So what if I did?
The Masked Figure is standing in a doorway, dressed as
Ghostface.
THE MASKED FIGURE (CONT'D)
(brandishing
knife)
Hello Sidney. Anything you want to
say?
Yuri hangs up the phone and holds up her candy bag.
YURI
Come and get me.
The Masked Figure runs towards her, she runs away. She
navigates through the slowly tightening hallway, the Figure
getting closer to her. She runs past a door and SLAMS it
into him. The Figure falls onto his back.
THE MASKED FIGURE
(getting up)
I'll tear your soul apart!
She leads him into an intersection of hallways. She stops
and awaits his attack.
He swings at her, she counters and knocks the knife out of
his hand. She grabs his arm and pins him against the wall.
YURI
Is that all you've got?
THE MASKED FIGURE
Have you ever seen Scream?
YURI
Some of it.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Then I guess you wont see this
twist coming.
A SECOND MASKED FIGURE grabs Yuri and pulls her off the
first. The second figure sets down the large sack of candy
seen earlier. They both get ready to fight Yuri.
YURI
NOW!
With that command, Sayori and Natsuki run out of the
darkness with Sayori's sheet and wrap it around both
Figures. Soon after, Monika and OC tie them up with what's
left of the proton pack.
THE MASKED FIGURE
Get this thing off us!
YURI
Not quite yet.
The gang crowd around the figures.
YURI (CONT'D)

She pulls off the second mask to reveal it was DEVIN, white
paint still on his face. Everyone says his name in
surprise.
SAYORI
HOW COULD YOU?
DEVIN
I'm sorry, Sayori. We got too old
for Halloween, but still wanted
the treats like when we were
younger. So we hatched a plan
based off our favorite films.
VICTOR CRAVEN
And we would have gotten away with
it too, if it weren't for you
meddling schoolgirls!
OC pokes his head out.

VICTOR CRAVEN

Seemingly out of nowhere the Construction Worker appears.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER
Good work, kids. We'll take it
from here.
NATSUKI
I thought you weren't actually
construction workers.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER
We're not. We're cops.
The rest of the Village People start arresting Vic and
Devin.
Vic sneakily grabs a pair of finger knives and cuts out of
the sheet in one swipe. He locks eyes with Yuri and lunges
at her.
Yuri dodges the swing, grabs his head, and hits it against
the wall, rendering him unconscious.
YURI
Welcome to my world, bitch.
EXT. CRYSTAL LANE - NIGHT
Devin and Victor are being put into police cars as the gang
crawl out of the sewers. They watch as all the houses start
to turn off their lights.
SAYORI
I guess we didn't get to go trick
or treating that much.
MONIKA
I'm sorry, maybe we can try again
next year.
SAYORI
I think Devin was right. We're a
little old for that.
OC
Hey, at least we solved our own
Scooby Doo case. Not everyone's
done that.
NATSUKI
Besides,
(holds up sack of
candy)
I don't think we could've gotten a
bigger haul.
SAYORI
(gasps)

She lunges for the bag. Everyone else gathers around to
grab some candy.

PROFESSOR FOSTER stumbles into the classroom, barely able
to walk. He's dressed as The Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who.
FOSTER
That's the last time I try square
dancing at a faculty party.
He makes his way to desk and falls into the chair,
exhausted. He reaches for the candy bowl. His hands dance
around the bowl in panic as it's empty. He gets up and
looks in it.
