Chapter Text
“What are supposed to do?”
“How is this happening?”
“She’ll be fine right; she’s been through worse.”
“Everyone shut up so I can think of something.”
As everyone was freaking out, Amity was still kneeling on the ground in front of the new portal door, one that had was definitely sturdier but had a shade of blue and white engraved in it, with a new portal in the doorway, one that sort of hurt to look at like looking at the sun, still grasping on the cut rope.
It had been five minutes since Luz had went through with a violent pull sucking the rope through, and even with everyone trying to hold on tight, it wasn’t enough to keep Luz from being lost in this new unknown world. And so far, no one knew what to do.
“What if we just go in?” King asked with the nervousness in his voice obvious.
“If we do, we risk getting stuck like Luz. Our first objective is to make sure the portal stays open.” Eda said before running inside to get some supplies. While everyone else was till panicking and trying to come up with their own ideas, they were interrupted by the sound of sniffing in front of the portal, seeing Amity crying still kneeling in front of the door.
“I... She.... Luz is ok.... she has to... there has to... we gotta do...I can’t...” She mustered to say between gasps as she continued to cry.
“Amity.” Willow said, kneeling down next to her. “Don’t worry. Luz is going to be fine.” She said, rubbing her hand on Amity’s shoulder.
“Yeah, relax, Mittens.” Ed said with a sincere voice. “Luz has been through way worse.” He said before Em joined in.
“Yeah, she just beat Belos last week, she can handle herself.”
“We’re gonna get her back.” Gus said enthusiastically. Amity was starting to calm down, but suddenly she felt a buzz within her pocket, a familiar one that she knew what it was. Reaching in her pocket, she grabbed her tamagotchi to see what she hope was good news.
“Wait is that?” King was asking, hoping it meant what he hoped it meant.
“It’s Luz.” She said before reading the messages.

Amity wasn’t sure about the third one, but the first two were enough to know that Luz needed help. Suddenly, a faint crunch was heard from the portal, they all looked up to see the wood slightly and slowly cracking. Dropping the tamagotchi on the ground, Amity slowly got up, surprising everyone, and rushed towards the Owl House.
“Alright, I got some... Woah!!!” Eda said as she bumped into Amity with them both falling into the ground. As Eda was getting up, Amity was going through the glyphs on the ground, looking for a few ice glyphs. Grabbing a handful of ice glyphs, Amity summoned two abominations that went and held up both sides of the portal. Amity started running to the portal tapping ten glyphs and throwing them towards the abominations freezing them as ice statues holding the portal open.
“Amity, wait.” But Amity didn’t listen as she kept running and jumped through the portal.
TOH-TOH-TOH
Once she passed through the portal she felt two things, one, that she was floating, and two, she began to feel pain, a burning sensation. Her eyes felt like they were on fire and that she was being filled with an abundance of energy.
“Ahhhhhhh. Luz!” She managed to say through the pain, swimming through the air trying to find her. A few seconds later, Amity started to hear something. Something mechanical and growing louder. In a few seconds and whirls later, the burning stopped and she fell onto what felt like a metal floor. Her eyes were still closed, but she could feel that she was being watched, and she had a feeling that she knew who one of them were.
“Amity? AMITY!” Luz said as she ran towards Amity, lightly shaking her and making sure she was fine. Knowing that Luz was there, Amity opened her eyes to meet Luz’s.
“Luz.” Amity said weakly, still recovering from the vortex but reaching up to kiss her girlfriend on the cheek. “What happened?” She asked.
“Exposure to the time vortex. You were lucky to land in the TARDIS, Luz, but your friend, well she’s lucky to be alive.” Another voice said from behind. It was then that Amity acknowledged her surroundings. She was in a strange dark mechanical room that almost reminded her of Belos’ chambers except for the strange crab leg like pillars, a strange console in the center of the room with an orange crystal sticking out of the top, the walls were covered with hexagons, and a strange whirling sound coming from outside. Amity then noticed the other two people in the room. One was a woman with long blonde hair who looked to be in her 30s wearing a purple jacket and a shirt with weird red, blue, and white patterns. The other person was another blonde woman, though her hair was shorter, who was slightly smaller than the other woman and was wearing a grey coat, blue shirt with rainbow stripes, and blue overall trousers.
“I take it this is one of your...witch friends?” The purple jacket woman said, gesturing her ears.
“Yeah, this is Amity, my girlfriend.” Luz said, helping Amity up.
“Oh, this is the Amity Blight.” The other woman said, walking toward the two, holding her hand out. “Hello there, I’m the Doctor. And over here is my wife Rose,” The Doctor said as Amity reach her hand out to shake her hand.
“Uh. Doctor who?” She said as everyone but her snickered a bit.
“Love it when people say that, no it’s just Doctor.” The Doctor said as she finished shaking Amity’s hand and ran towards the console. A few seconds later, Rose walked towards Amity.
“Don’t mind her, she can be quite...eccentric.” She said, walking towards her wife.
Before Amity could question anything else, she was pulled into a hug by Luz and quickly returned it back. “I’m just glad you’re ok.” Amity said, knowing Luz was safe.
“Same here, I haven’t seen you for two days.”
“Two days?!?” Amity said, looking surprised back at Luz. “Luz, it’s only been about five minutes. What are you talking about? Where are we?” Amity asked as the confusion came back.
“One.” The Doctor said as she was messing with the console. “It’s the temporal differential, time flows differently between other dimensions, a minute in one world could be a second in another or ten years in a completely different one. Two. You’re in my TARDIS. Well, actually your portal transported you into the time vortex, which is a dimensional plane where time and space co-align, connecting at an angle determined by non-Euclidean geometry. Think of it as the entire timeline in an objective form instead of a subjective one. Luz here was lucky to jump through into the TARDIS while in flight. You weren’t so lucky, but we were able to get you before any long lasting effects could come into play.” The Doctor rambled nonstop, which Amity was slightly able to keep up.
“So the timeline, is it for Luz’s realm?” She asked, just to be sure.
“No. Luz here is definitely not from our universe.” Rose said as she was pressing a few buttons on the console as well. “Luz’s biometric data is different from anyone from our dimension. Plus, she told us of some of your adventures. If her world was our world, we definitely would have known about it.”
Soon enough Amity and Luz were making their way to the console, hand in hand. “So how are we supposed to get back to the demon realm?” Amity asked, still confused.
After hearing that, Luz gained a worried look as she turned toward Amity. “Wait, Amity. Do you still have the tamagotchi?” Luz asked, worried.
“No! I dropped it back home, Luz, I’m sorry I...” but Amity wasn’t able to finish her statement as Luz interrupted.
“No no, it’s ok, look.” Luz said as she led Amity to the other side of the console, where Amity saw Luz’s tamagotchi plugged into the console and some magical balls of light next to it.
“What’s?” Amity tried to ask before the Doctor explained. “Your world’s magic energy signature is unique from any other form of energy, and the fact that your world is full of it we can use a sample from that world to track that energy across every reality.”
“So, we can use this to find the right multiverse where it’s dimensions have the same energy readings but to narrow it down to the right universe, we needed something else to triangulate the right location within the multiverse, like a phone call or these cute things.” Rose said, gesturing to the tamagotchi.
Amity looked towards Luz for a second for an explanation. “We can use the glyphs and tamagotchi to retrace our steps.” She simplified.
“Ok, so I think I understand most of this, but if it’s that easy, why is it taking two days?” Amity asked honestly.
“Like the Doctor said, this energy is unique to this reality. And let’s just say that we have some enemies of ours that would like this energy for not-so-great uses.” Rose said before a loud bell like sound began to ring through the room.
“Seriously? Now what?!” Luz said, not really surprised but more irritated by the sound as she comforted Amity, who was caught off guard and surprised by the Cloister bell.
“Luz? Doctor? What’s going on?” As the Doctor ran towards a hexagon like screen on the wall, looking at it with the same amount of irritation as Luz.
“No time to explain, but it looks like a Rutan faction are on to us.” The doctor said as she began pressing a few more buttons as the room began to shake and the whirling grew louder.
“Hey.” Luz said to Amity. “You ready for another crazy adventure?” She asked, a bit nervous for Amity’s sake rather than her.
Amity simply chuckled before saying. “With you, sounds like another date.” She finished as Luz looked towards Rose and the Doctor.
“Allon-sy!”
TOH-TOH-TOH
“Amity!”
“Mittens!”
“What was that!”
“Panicking even more now!!!”
“Everyone relax,” Eda roared in her owl harpy form, getting everyone’s attention.
“Willow, grow me some strong vines. King, get me some protection barrier glyphs. I’m gonna fly in, get those two, and fly out. If I can’t, Willow, you gotta feel us back in. Got it?” Willow nodded as she began to grow some strong vines.
But before she could finish the spell circle, the group began to hear a strange fang sound, a sound of mechanical whirling that seemed to be getting louder and louder. Suddenly, the witches looked towards the source of the sound and saw what looked like a giant box fading into sight, growing more and less solid through each whirl and causing dust for go rallying through the air. As soon as the box was at its most solid, the two doors swung open and two figures jumped out.
“Adiós Doc, Rose, fue un placer conocerte.”
“Take care, hope we meet again.”
“Same here.” A voiced echoed inside as the door closed, and the box began to fade away as well as the sound. Once the box was gone and the dust cleared, the witches looked towards the two figures to recognize them.
“LUZ!” Eda and King yelled as they ran towards Luz and hug/tackling her down to the ground.
“MITTENS!” The twins yelled as they did the same to Amity, soon Gus and Willow joined the dog pile welcoming their friends and family back.
“What happened?”
“Where’d you guys go?”
“Did you make it back to the human realm?”
“Are you two ok?”
“Where’s you get those clothes?”
Once everyone got up, they finally noticed Amity and Luz wearing some orange space suits, not that the rest of the witches would know what space suits were, looking a bit worse for wear.
“Well, let’s just say we had a crazy time where we were.” Luz said as Amity playfully pushed Luz away while chuckling, confusing everyone.
TOH-TOH-TOH
“¿Espere? The Doctor? And Rose Tyler? From Doctor Who?” Camila finally said as Luz and Amity finished the story.
“Yeah, but also no, it was like an alternate version than the one from the show.” Luz said chuckling, still remembering the month-long adventure.
“One where Rose and the Doctor are still together and married. Even up to the 13th version. Not gonna lie, I’m actually interested in seeing that universe.” Vee said, chuckling as well. “Or at least seeing an accurate fanfic.”
“I can help with that.” Katya said, already getting her pen and paper out. And while everyone else was laughing and taking this lightly, Camila, who just learned that her daughter and her girlfriend had had a crossover with considerably the most dangerous person in fiction ever, was really hoping to change the subject. “Ok then, are there any other crossovers stories we should all know then?”
There was a bit of silence in the room as the rest of the group were thinking of any other moments similar to Luz and Amity’s adventure with a time traveling alien.
“Hey.” Emira said, breaking the silence and snapping her fingers at Edric and King. “Any idea if you two told her about our own time travel adventure with Loki?”
