It’s the first week of summer break and Freo is sitting on his bed looking at some new corses that’s starting next semester, when he gets a ping from Seible.

Swablu;}: Furi-chan! I got a really good idea!
Freodore: Go on…
Swablu;}: What if we invite Kaelix and Zeal over so they can become friends:}
Freodore: It’s a good idea but I don’t think they would join if the other knows they’re there.
Swablu;}: We don’t have to tell them, I could get tell K-chan that I’m going over to your house and that I want him to join us^^
Freodore: Yeah but don’t you think he’ll catch on?
Swablu;}: Nope:]
Freodore: Ok, Seible… But if this goes wrong don’t blame me.
Swablu;}: It won’t go wrong trust me;]

Freo puts his phone down and walks to the kitchen to fix up some snacks for the boys before he call Zeal to come over, four sandwiches, one with lettuce wrap instead of bread and one with visibly less veggies. Freo sits down at the couch, setting up the couch with mutable covers, pillows and a bowl of snacks when he gets another message from Seible.
Swablu;}: Furi-chan! He said yes AND he’s none the wiser that Zeals gonna be there!
Wow Seible’s plain actually worked…
Freodore: Wow Seible I didn’t think your plain would work…
Swablu;}: Can I get a kiss for being right?~
Freodore: Maybe but don’t push your luck.
Freo giggles and starts to text Zeal.
Freodore: Hey Zeal do you wanna come over and play sonic?
Zeal: Hell yeah. Give me about 15 mins and I’ll be over.
Freodore: Sounds good.
Then he goes back to texting Seible completely ignoring Seible’s answer to his comment before.
Freodore: Zeal said he’ll be here in about 15 mins.
Swablu;}: That’s good I was about to get Kaelix:p
Freodore: Ok drive safe.
Freo puts his phone down and starts flipping though movies to watch when the doorbell rings. Freo gets up and opens the door to see Zeal in casual clothes with 3 pillows in his hands.
“Um… What are the pillows for-“
“Pillow fight.”
“Ok…”
Freo and Zeal sit down on the couch and got comfy. Zeal turned to look at the door as he heard loud giggles and laughter followed by a knock at the door.
Freo gets up running to the door like there’s a new coffee machine on the other side. Zeal stands up as the door opens and he sees Seible and looming over him.
“Hey Gin-Chan! Hey Furi-Chan!” Seible pulls Freo into a deep hug lifting him off the ground.
Kaelix shifts to the side to walk past them when he sees Zeal standing staring back at him.
“He-Hey Zeal..”
“Hey Kaelix, did you ride with Seible?”
“Yeah he was driving a little crazy…”
“Hey I drive just fine!” Seible chimes in grabbing Freo’s hand and dragging him to the couch. Kaelix follows sitting in the last spot beside Zeal.
“So what do you guys wanna watch?”
“Horror movie.”
“Comedy show!”
“Netflix!”
“Um… Freo what do you wanna watch?” Freo’s face goes blank thinking about what to choose.
“No pressure of course.
“Yeah of course not Furi-chan!”
Freo turns his head looking down, a faint blush paints his face.
“Um I thought we could… Play some games first…”
“Sure what do you have in mind?”
“We could play uno?”
As the night progresses they play Uno while making little jokes shared between them and some other friends at school. The night slowly simmers down when Freo starts getting sleepy and falling asleep on Seible’s shoulder and they run out of snacks and sandwiches.
“Do you wanna call it a night?”
“Sure…” Freo says in a low voice with his eyes closed.
“Seible perks up with Freo’s answer.
“What Seible?”
Seible giggles before walking to his bag and pulling out 4 onesies. One with a snake, one with a hedgehog, one with cat and the final one with a monkey.
“Seible?? It’s summer and you want me to wear a onesie to sleep??”
“Yep” Seible runs over to Freo and gives him the one with hedgehog.
“Fine…” Freo walks into the bathroom with slow steps maybe it’s from tiredness or maybe it the onesie.
Seible grabs his as he walks into the bathroom as Freo walks out. Leaving the monkey and the snake.
“Freo sits down on the floor and wraps him self around a cover and closing his eyes.
“Did you know about this Freo?”
“No… I knew I would have not invited him.” He says with not an inch malice in his voice.
Seible skips out the bathroom like his been waiting for this for years.
“Kaelix you can have the monkey one I like snakes more.”
Zeal hands Kaelix the monkey one and walks to the bathroom. Freo’s already sleeping when Seible looks at Kaelix with a determined face.
“Kaelix.” Kaelix jumps at the sudden use of his full name.
“H-huh..?”
“Do you wanna be friends with Zeal?”
“What do you mean? We’re already friends…”
“Kaelix you haven’t said hi to him yet… Do something happen betwee-“
“Seible are you sure you didn’t get a size… Too small?”
Zeal walks out with the onesie only zipped up to his ribs with no under shirt. Kaelix turns to Zeal before his ears and neck gain a bright red.
“I’ll go next!” Kaelix springs up from the couch before grabbing the monkey onesie and walking past Zeal to the bathroom.
“Oh… Gin-chan I didn’t measure your um… Assets with the size…” Seible walks over to Zeal before trying to zip it up the rest of the way but to no avail it doesn’t budge.
“Um you might have to just sleep like that Gin-chan…”
“It’s fine I sleep like this most of the time.”
Kaelix walks out the bathroom seemly less red.
“Aww we look so cute all together!”
“Mmmm…”
Freo pulls Seible leg signaling to him that he wants them to go to sleep.
Seible sits beside Freo on the floor, Kaelix sits on the farthest side of the couch from Zeal, who has his legs sprawled out on the couch.
“Goodnight guys.”
“Mmmm..”
“Night.”
“Goodnight.”
Seible turns off the TV leaving everyone in the dark.
Seible and Freo are fast asleep when Kaelix gets up to get a glass of milk when he hears shuffling in the bathroom.
He stays in the kitchen hoping that whatever he heard doesn’t cross his path if he just waits it out.
He stands in the kitchen still look at the fridge when he hears yet another noise but it’s not coming from the bathroom anymore… It’s coming from right beside him…
He runs to the light and switches it on to see…
Zeal.
Zeal is standing in the kitchen with snacks in his hands.
“Zeal???” Kaelix says in a hushed whisper trying not to wake the others.
“Hey?”
“What are you doing in the kitchen??”
“I got hungry.”
“I thought you were a monster!”
“Boo.”
“You’re kinda scary when you don’t say anything…”
“To be honest with you I didn’t even know you were there until you turned the light on.”
“You weren’t scared???”
“Why would I be? Should I be?”
“I mean I’d be scared if I was getting some snacks and I felt a breeze beside me then the lights turned on…”
“I mean we’re the only ones in this house.”
“Yeah but…”
Zeal just decides that it might be time to rip the bandaid off.
“Are you sure you’re not just scared of me?”
“Wh-What? No!”
“I mean it seems like it. Since you walked in you’ve barely talked to me and when Seible turned that lights off you were sitting on the opposite of the couch like I’m dangerous.”
Kaelix looked down not wanting to make eye contact with Zeal. “I don’t know Zeal, you might be…”
“What gave you that idea?”
“What happened in middle school?” Kaelix looks up a Zeal with a deep stare meeting his worried face.
“I was hoping you wouldn’t ask…”
“It’s okay if you don’t tell me the full story… I just wanna know why, why did you do it Zeal?”
A deep silence fell over the kitchen as Zeal’s face twisted from worried to sadness.
“He… He threatened me and… Freo…”
Two free tears drop from Zeal’s face onto the floor.
“I… Didn’t mean to… To put him in the hospital…”
“Zeal…” Kaelix slowly walked up to Zeal before pulling him into a hug.
“You did what felt right… To protect your friends…”
Zeal and Kaelix stay like that for hours until Zeal walks to the couch and sits with his legs fully on the couch. Kaelix sits down moving Zeal’s legs before placing them on top of him.
“Good night, Zeal.”
“Good night, Kaelix.”
Seible, Freo, Zeal and Kaelix finally drift off into sleep all together.
Kaelix wakes up first with a heavy weight on his chest. When did Freo have a weighted blanket? I mean it’s kinda nice AND is warm too! Wait a minute… Freo don’t own a weighted blanket and Seible didn’t bring one…
Kaelix opens his eye expecting the worst… Here’s someone on top of him! Kaelix lifts up the covers to see… Zeal?? He’s holding Kaelix in a tight hug, maybe he telling what secret took a lot out of him?
“Um… Zeal?” Kaelix shakes Zeal lightly, “Are you… Awake?”
“Hmmm… Let me have this…” Zeal mumbles under his breath with a raspy voice.
“But I gotta get up…”
“Then take me with you…”
Is he talking in his sleep or is this what Zeal really wants?
“You’re very warm…”
Then the realization finally hit Kaelix. Zeal still has no shirt on and is cuddling into Kaelix. Kaelix’s face is painted with a bright red when he lifts up Zeal to look him in the eyes.
“What’s wrong with you today???”
“I was cold last night without a shirt so… I just used your body heat.”
“And not just that what do you mean by ‘just let me have this’?”
“Just let me hug you for a while…” Zeal leans in landing his head on the top of Kaelix’s
AAHHHHH HIS CHEST IS IN MY FACE WHY IS HE SO CALM?? Kaelix pokes his head out from the space between them. “Zeal! Freo and Seible might see us!!”
“What do you mean? They left hours ago.”
“WHAT??? To go where??”
“On a date or something I don’t know, I wasn’t really listening…”
“On a date??? They’re together???”
“Yeah I thought that was obvious.”
“In was world was that obvious??” Kaelix pulls himself away from Zeal, getting up to brush his teeth.
“Wait for me. I wanna brush my teeth too.”
Zeal and Kaelix get to the bathroom together holding they’re toothbrushes.
“Did you bring toothpaste?”
“Yeah why?”
“Well Freo said he had some for me, but he never gave it to me so I don’t have any.”
“Fine you can have some of mine.”
Kaelix reaches over to Zeal’s toothbrush and squeezes some on his before putting some on his own. They brush their teeth taking turns spitting to the sink and then flossing their teeth.
“So uh what should we do since we’re here alone?”
“Are you hungry? I could make us some breakfast.”
“Sure.”
Kaelix goes into the kitchen preparing the food when a hand brushes across his neck.
“AaaaHHHH-!” Kaelix jumps up turning around swiftly to grab Zeal’s hands.
“Ahh don’t do that!”
“I got bored sitting here watching you do all the fun stuff.”
“You could help if you want.”
“Well you need to release my hands first.”
“And what If I don’t want to..?”
It whole house goes quiet as the air fills with tension. Zeal pushes Kaelix closer to the counter.
“What does that mean?”
“You know full well what it means.”
“I’m not sure if I do.” Zeal pushes Kaelix back against the counter.
“I’m not gonna spell it out…” Kaelix moves Zeal’s hands down to his sides as Zeal grabs onto them. Zeal lifts Kaelix onto the counter causing spoons and bowls to fall and make place.
Kaelix moves his hands up into Zeal’s hair before pulling him into a rough demanding kiss. Their lips clashing into each other like they’ve been waiting for years. Zeal runs his hands under Kaelix’s shirt roaming around Kaelix’s bare back before going up further to Kaelix’s neck and pulling lightly at the hairs at the base of his neck. Zeal and Kaelix separate their lips to catch their breath before they go back for round 2. Zeal pokes his tongue into Kaelix’s mouth and roams around trying to taste every bit of him before their tongues met and wrap around each other. Zeal picks up Kaelix bringing him the couch while their lips never leave each other. Zeal pins Kaelix down on the couch breaking the kiss.
“You’ve… Been Waiting… A while… Haven’t you?” Kaelix’s neck and cheeks are dusted with pink.
“Maybe.” Zeal leans in whispering Kaelix ear in a low tone.
“Or maybe I’m just really hungry~” Zeal sucks on Kaelix’s neck driving a groan out of him. Zeal moves lower unzipping Kaelix’s onesie to expose his collarbone before Zeal sucks onto where his neck and collarbone met driving a moan out of him and leaving red marks.
Kaelix grinds onto Zeal’s leg chasing some kind of friction. Zeal moves his leg back, looking up at Kaelix.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“I… W-want… You, Zeal~”
“Where do you want me?” Zeal’s hand trail down rubbing soft circles on Kaelix’s hip when… The door opens.

“Gin-chan! K-Chan! We’re back!”
“Seible! They might still be sleeping keep it down!”
“OHH,” Seible lowers his voice into a whisper. “My bad.”
“Oh hey guys!”
Zeal and Kaelix are sitting on the couch like statues looking straight ahead. Kaelix’s face has gone a cherry red he didn’t even know was posable, his and Zeal’s hair looks like they went to waged war and back.
“Hey Seible. Where were you guys?”
“Me and Furi-Chan went to get some more snacks.”
Kaelix is still sitting as stiff as a board hoping that if he moves less they might not point out the obvious hickeys on his neck and collarbone.
Freo walking into the living room holding the spoon and bowls that fell off when Zeal put Kaelix on the counter.
“What happened here..?”
“Oh yeah my bad Freo I was gonna make something. I must have dropped them on my way out of my kitchen.”
“Ok Zeal…”
Freo walked away pulling Seible along with him.
Kaelix relaxed as they both walked out the room.
“Kaelix?”
“Yeah?”
Zeal turns his whole body to look at Kaelix. “What are we?”
“Well I’d like to do this more, but that’s only if you’re up for it..”
“Are you confessing?”
“I feel like you giving me hickeys was a strong enough confession.”
“But I wanna hear it from you. From your mouth. From your voice.” Zeal holds Kaelix’s hands at his chest.
“Zeal I… Love you.”
“I love you too.”
Zeal closes the gap between them and pulls him in for a kiss. Unlike the last one it was slow and un-rushed it was more like a statement. Their lips part as they walk into the kitchen to met up with Freo and Seible.
They walk in to see Freo up on the counter with half his shirt unbuttoned while Seible is grabbing his thigh and kissing him senselessly.
“SEIBLE!”
“Freo!”
Freo jumps and quickly buttons up his shirt while Seible runs away to the bathroom.
“Wow… I knew you guys had something going on…”
“Hey at least I’m not hiding my crimes!” Freo points at Kaelix.
“What?? I’m not hiding anything!!”
“Kaelix there’s hickeys all over your neck and Zeal’s lips are red.”
“Anyone could have done that!”
“That was me.” Zeal raises his hand high and proud.
“Ok… How could you tell?”
“Well Zeal’s onesie is all the way down to his hips and Kaelix is bright red.”
Seible walks into the kitchen with on of Freo’s hoodies on.
“Gin-chan! K-chan! Furi-chan!”
“Yeah?”
“What’s up, Seible?”
“Yes, Seible?”
“I, Seible Jacob Nijisanji declare that we should all bake a cake together to celebrate that we all love each other!”
“I mean it’s don’t sound like a bad idea.”
“I could go for some cake…”
