Chapter Text
Redstar walked up to his medicine cat, Yellowfang. He sat down next to her as she stared up to the sky, hoping to get an omen from StarClan. "Anything?" Redstar asked with hope. "StarClan hasn't spoken to me in such time." Yellowfang murmured back, she perks her ears up as Redstar conversed with her. "The patrol still hasn't come back from the fight between them and RiverClan for Sunningrocks. I hope they're okay." Redstar shuffled in his paws, suddenly, a shooting star shot through the sky, as Yellowfang stared at it, "It's.. It's a prophecy!" The old she-cat rasped, as Redstar asked her, "What is it?" He meowed, as Yellowfang answered, "Great paws will bring the Clan to it's greatest age.", She purred softly, licking the fur on her chest, "Great paws? I haven't met any cat with great paws.. Unless.. A great cat?.. They could kill the Clans!" He meowed, as Yellowfang continued to look at the starry sky, Redstar calmed down, "You've never doubted ThunderClan, Yellowfang. It must be. Great paws will save our Clan.
A small tabby kitten poked his head out from a small den, sniffing the air as his mother calls for him back in the den, he ignores it, going fully out of the den. He wanders around, he hears a familiar voice nearby call, " Heya Patch!" Called a slender black tom with a white paw. "Oh, it's just you, Tiny. Whats up?" Patch replied, his tone unusually curious. "I saw you heading to the woods.. You're not thinking of going, right? It could be dangerous in there!" Tiny squealed as if he were a tiny kit, Patch silenced him with a meow, "I'm only going for a look, maybe a mouse or two. I'm sure whatever's in there will be fine with it." Patch turned back to the direction of the forest, Tiny staring into it, "Theres big, terrifying cats in there.. You wouldn't get me in there!" Tiny's fur bristles up, clawing the hard earth. "I'm sure it'll be fine, Tiny. You don't need to worry about me, Ill be fine." Patch gave a reassuring meow to Tiny, as he trods into the wood's trees, Tiny just watching behind him. Patch smelled mouse, he followed the scent, he felt a twig snap behind him and his giant paws, he braced himself to attack the enemy.
