Chapter Text
'And that's how I met Minho.' Jisung finishes, smiling widely as he looks at Haechan and Soobin, patting Bbama's head.
Both of their mouths hang open, completely lost for words. Jisung had just spent the better part of 3 hours telling both of his friends what has happened in the past few days. Well, in Mount Olympus it was only 2 days but here it seemed to have been months, almost a year actually.
Jisung clicks his fingers, 'You haven't looked into the eyes of Medusa have you?'
That seemed to take Soobin out of his state of shock, 'Wait..hold on a minute. So your telling me the reason you were missing for months was because you followed an otter down a hole and ended up in Hell then you were rescued by demi-gods and then found out you were a demi-god and now you have a boyfriend who is the son of Poseidon and turns out you are Erebus' son?' Soobin takes a deep breath, 'And we searched for weeks to find you, we even got the police involved and they presumed you were dead or had gotten trafficked or kidnapped or whatever they said - I wasn't really paying much attention - but you were just having a good time on Mount Olympus?'
Honestly, Jisung couldn't quite believe it himself. When Minho and Jisung had visited Chan, he told them to come back later whilst he researched something.
And when they did go back, Chan had found some ancient scrolls about a supposed secret son of Erebus - the God of darkness - who had an affair with a mortal. That "son" being Jisung. Hades was instructed to look after Jisung, sort of acting as another father, but Hades was quick to give Jisung back to his mortal mother.
Jisung was shocked to say the least, that was the last possible answer he had expected Chan to say.
Jisung had never in a million years thought he would be a demi-god. Especially not the son of the God of darkness himself.
Jisung pauses, processing what Soobin just said, 'That just about sums it up.'
Haechan scoffs, '"That just about sums it up"!? What?! Have you lost your damned mind?! We thought you were dead Jisung and you show up with a hunky boyfriend and tell us you're a demi-god. Do you hear yourself right now? It's batshit crazy!' Haechan points a finger at Jisung, 'Do we need to take you to a mental hospital?'
Jisung rolls his eyes, 'No you don't. You could come visit Mount Olympus at some point if you want? Minho would be happy to take you to meet the other demi-gods.'
Soobin perks up a little bit, 'Really?! I'd love to-'
'No.' Haechan cuts in, 'You can bring your demi-god friends here but I would never believe Mount Olympus is real! You were probably drugged with God knows what...'
⛰️ ⛰️ ⛰️
'...Oh fuck.'
Once again, Haechan and Soobin's jaws were threatening to touch the ground. Both were stunned into silence when they had arrived at Mount Olympus. Minho had quickly agreed to take them there and in less than an hour, they had arrived.
'So...it's real?' Soobin asks hesitantly.
'Very.' Jisung smiles, leaning his head on Minho's shoulder, 'See? I'm not "batshit crazy".'
'I can see that now.' Haechan beams, 'I just didn't ever believe it would be real.'
'Surprise!' Jisung spreads his arms out.
'Surprise indeed.' Minho chuckles, slinking an arm around Jisung's waist, 'Want to head back to my room?'
'No, you horny ass.' Jisung laughs lightly, slapping Minho's arm, 'I'd quite like to introduce Soobin and Haechan to the others.'
Minho pouts, 'Fine, but if we get even a second to spare-'
'Be quiet.' Jisung shushes him with a kiss, pulling out of Minho's embrace when Soobin makes a gagging sound, 'Let's go meet the others.'
'JISUNGIE!'
Jisung whirls around, a bright, gummy smile appearing on his face, 'BOKKIE!'
Felix launches himself at Jisung, knocking both of them onto the ground with a thud. Felix immediately peppers Jisung's face with kisses. Jisung laughs, throwing his arms around Felix's small frame to pull him into a tight hug.
'Why were you away for almost a week?!' Felix sits up, expression suddenly serious.
'Sorry!' Jisung laughs, 'I was spending time with Soobin and Haechan.'
Felix's face immediately brightens, 'Oh yes! Where are they?' Felix looks up, his gaze wandering until it locks onto Soobin and Haechan.
Felix jumps up off Jisung and skips over to his friends, 'Hi! I'm Felix son of Hermes, Jisung had told me so much about you two!' with that Felix throws his arms over Soobin and Haechan's shoulders and walks off towards the main building with them.
'Hey kiddo!'
Jisung turns quickly, but not quick enough to avoid the crushing hug he is pulled into.
'Ch-Chan! I'm still frail unlike you!' Jisung splutters.
Chan immediately pulls back, grinning from ear to ear, 'Sorry. How's my favourite student doing?'
'Hey!' Minho protests, 'I thought I was the favourite?!'
Jisung smothers a laugh and Chan rolls his eyes, 'You were the favourite, but Jisung managed to control his powers much more quickly than you did. And I like him more than you.'
'Ha!' Jisung looks up at Chan with wide eyes, 'Aww, thanks Hyung!'
'What? I've known you my whole life! You've only know Jisung for 2 weeks.' Minho scoffs.
'Firstly, his big eyes are hard to say no to, secondly-' Chan starts.
Minho huffs and stomps off, 'I don't want to hear it Chan! I know Jisung is amazing.'
Chan chuckles, 'He really loves you.'
'He does.' Jisung smiles, 'And I love him too, of course.'
'I wouldn't doubt it for a second.' Chan pats Jisung's head.
'Aww.' a voice coos, 'Your back with your rightful owner.'
Jisung frowns, wondering what on earth that person was talking about. Turning around, Jisung watches as Hyunjin walks over to where Bbama is lying on the grass.
Hyunjin scoops Bbama up off the ground, 'Did you miss me Bbamie?'
'Oi! He's my dog!' Jisung immediately starts walking towards Hyunjin.
Hyunjin's eyes widen and then he takes off, running full speed whilst holding Bbama, 'He's mine!'
💚 💗 💚 💗
'No! Not there, the wall was supposed to be on the other side!' even from all the way on the other side of the building site, Minho's voice somehow managed to reach Jisung's ears, 'Agh! It was on the blueprints!'
Jisung chuckles, 'Minho sure is getting worked up over nothing.'
Felix laughs, taking a sip of his cocktail, 'He sure is. He's always had so much pent up anger.'
'I can see that.' Jisung tips his cocktail glass towards Felix's, knocking them together with a satisfying chink, 'Let's just relax and enjoy the sun whilst Minho sorts the house out.'
The sun was scorching today, all the better for Jisung and Felix though, they could get a good tan from this. They were currently seated on the beach in recliners, drinking cocktails with trendy sunglasses on and listening to the sound of the waves.
'This was a good shout.' Felix comments, 'Choosing to build your house beside the beach.'
Jisung smiles, 'I know, Minho said I could pick anywhere so I chose the beach. He even had the audacity to be mad about it after, saying,' Jisung clears his throat, trying his best to imitate Minho's voice, '"I don't particularly want to be near the water Jisung! My father will start visiting!".'
Felix laughs, almost choking on his drink, 'That's what he's worried about? Not that there could be a tsunami or something?'
Jisung shrugs, 'I did tell him that, but he said "It's Japan, of course there is going to be a few tsunamis or earthquakes".'
'I'm just sad you moved so far away.' Felix pouts, 'I won't be able to see you as often.'
Jisung pats Felix's head gently, 'That's why we arranged for there to be 6 spare rooms, one for the each of you. You guys can stay here for as long as you want.'
'I don't know where the "we" came from.' Minho laughs, placing a recliner beside Jisung's and sitting down on it, 'You didn't really give me a say in the house plans.'
'I did so!' Jisung protests, 'I let you have a whole room for your future cats! You were going to name them Soonie, Doongie and Dori remember!'
'Uh-huh, but other than that you designed the whole house.' Minho smirks, taking Jisung's cocktail glass right out of his hands and taking a sip.
Jisung grumbles, 'That I did.'
'Well, I think it'll look great.' Felix chimes in, 'I might just stay here.'
'Um, you will not-' Minho starts.
'Of course you can!' Jisung cuts in, ignoring Minho's protests, 'You can invite the others too if you want, we could use extra pairs of hands around here.'
'I'd be honoured to tell them, boss.' Felix mock salutes, 'Shall I call them now, boss?'
Jisung chuckles, 'Yes, peasant, get to it!'
'Yes sir!' Felix bows and walks off, making the grave mistake of leaving his cocktail unattended.
Minho leans over Jisung and grabs the alcohol, downing it in one go, 'Ah.' Minho sighs, 'I really needed that.'
Jisung chuckles, 'I'm sure you did, Jagi.' Jisung intertwines his fingers with Minho's.
Minho smiles, 'You have no idea.'
Jisung grins, giving Minho's hand a squeeze before looking back out onto the ocean. They sit in comfortable silence, listening to the waves and the rustling of the cherry blossom trees, the petals falling and landing on the sand.
This really is a great life.
'Agh!' Jisung exclaims when three certain furry animals run past, sending sprays of sand over Jisung, 'How did they get here so quickly?! I literally just sent Felix to call them!'
Minho chuckles, 'The gods have their ways.'
Jisung swivels in his seat, staring down the newcomers, 'Get your dogs on a leash for gods sake!'
'Sorry.' Hyunjin shrugs, not looking one bit sorry, 'I should have told Kkami to jump on you next time.'
'Berry get over here!' Chan calls.
'Bbama stop hanging around with these dogs.' Jisung calls out to Bbama, 'They're a bad influence on you!'
Hyunjin whacks the back of Jisung's head, 'Oh stop it you, what did Kkami do to you?'
Jisung rolls his eyes, 'Ugh, you're so annoying Jinnie.'
Hyunjin laughs, sitting in Felix's seat, 'Whatever.'
'Are the others here too?' Minho lets go of Jisung's hand - much to Jisung's displeasure - and stands up, 'Could we have at least gotten a few hours of peace?'
Jeongin chuckles, 'Not when you have us as your friends.'
'Get us some more chairs! We want to sit down too!' Seungmin says, gesturing to the empty space where Jisung presumes he wants the chairs to go.
Minho scoffs, 'Get them yourself.'
'Why?' Changbin shouts, 'It's your beach...'
Jisung laughs lightly and turns back around to face the ocean, leaving the others to bicker by themselves. He liked how well they all got on, they were like real brothers. But now Jisung was part of this family.
And what a great family it was at that.
