Chapter Text
Katsuki: *held a bunch of carnations and walked into a grave yard. Glanced at a grave that said "Haruto Deshi" and sighed. There was dead flowers from his previous visit. He put down the flowers in front of it.*
Himiko: *went next to him and put down white roses in front of the same grave.*
Katsuki: Why are you smiling? *Glares*
Himiko: I know she's up there somewhere.
Katsuki: Don't bring religion into this, babe...
Himiko: I'm not. I might not know there's an afterlife, but that doesn't mean I can't be hopeful. She might be watching us somewhere. Besides, I know you're still feeling guilt, thinking your quirk is the cause of Haruto's death... *Smile faded*... it wasn't.
Katsuki: *eyes widen* .... Then what was it?
Himiko: *sits on her knees* It was your fear of me and the future caused it. And even though I have plenty of regrets about what I've done to you, I'm still trying my best to be a better person, and a good hero! And the fact that despite all that rage an anger, you still care enough to visit her grave. That makes me smile. That I have a boyfriend like that. So hey, why not pay my respect for what I've caused too?
Katsuki: That means a lot to me... *smiles a bit. He sits next to her and leans on her. The two look at the grave stone, smiling and crying silently as the wind blew*
Himiko: See? *Sniffs* it's best to just let it all out without blowing stuff up...
Katsuki: *sniffs* it is... Is... Is it wimpy for me to be crying like this? Over a woman I considered to be a friend who didn't even speak?
Himiko: No, It makes you human.
Katsuki: I guess it does... *Gets up* .... *Starts to walk back to the gate*
Himiko: *watches him walk*
Katsuki: *turns back* You coming? I'm going back to the dorms.
Himiko: I wanna cherish this moment a little longer. I'll be there, Kacchan.
Katsuki: ...if you say so. *Kept walking. He felt like a weight was lifted off of him. After a few minutes, he went back into his dorm room and sat in front of his hero costume*
Haruto is watching us somewhere, huh?
Well I'm sure she'll be happy once I become a true hero!
