Chapter Text

The soft morning light streamed through the villa's large windows, casting a golden glow over the room. The gentle sound of waves breaking in the distance was the only noise, bringing a serenity that seemed perfect for starting the day. Already awake, Pond turned to the side and smiled upon seeing Phuwin still asleep. The model was curled up under the sheets, his hair messy and his face relaxed. He looked exhausted, but adorable.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Pond murmured softly, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on Phuwin's forehead.

Phuwin mumbled something unintelligible, sinking deeper into the pillow, his eyes half-closed. "Hm... not yet," he murmured, his voice husky from sleep. He tried to move, but immediately felt his body protest. His muscles were sore, especially around his hips, and he let out a tense sigh.

Pond raised an eyebrow, noticing the clear discomfort on Phuwin's face. "Are you okay, Sinn? Looks like someone overdid it last night," he teased with a mischievous smile, but his concern grew when Phuwin shifted again and let out a quiet, tired groan.

"I'm... just tired," Phuwin replied, finally opening his eyes slowly. He looked at Pond with a sleepy smile, but there was a feverish gleam in his gaze that didn't go unnoticed by the driver. Pond touched Phuwin's forehead with the back of his hand and frowned.

"You're a little warm," Pond commented, his voice now more serious. He leaned in and gently cupped Phuwin's face. "You might have a fever."

Phuwin tried to protest. "It's nothing, just a little exhaustion. And... your fault too," he said, trying to sound playful, but the weakness in his voice betrayed just how worn out he was.

Pond sighed and sat up in bed, pulling the sheets down slightly to check on Phuwin. "My fault, huh? And who was the one teasing me so much last night?" he countered, trying to lighten the mood, but his concern was evident. He ran his fingers through Phuwin's tousled hair, the touch gentle.

Phuwin smiled faintly but soon closed his eyes again, feeling his body grow even heavier. "I just... want to stay here today. I can't move much," he admitted, his voice quiet.

"Alright, then we'll spend the day here together. I'll take care of you," Pond said firmly, leaning in to kiss Phuwin's forehead again. He got out of bed and began gathering a few things. "I'll order some tea and something light for you to eat. I'll also see if we have anything to bring your fever down."

Phuwin opened his eyes, watching Pond move around the room with a tenderness that warmed his heart despite the discomfort. "You're being too dramatic, Pond. I'm just tired," he joked, though he couldn't hide how much he liked the driver's care.

Pond returned to the bed and leaned down to kiss Phuwin's lips softly. "Dramatic or not, your well-being is important to me. So let me take care of you, Sinn."

Phuwin smiled, feeling grateful even though his body was exhausted. He closed his eyes again, letting himself relax as he listened to Pond making calls and arranging breakfast.

Pond quickly finished placing the breakfast order, choosing herbal tea and light toast with fruit. He also called the reception to request a thermometer and some painkillers, just to make sure Phuwin could rest comfortably. Once he hung up, he returned to the bed and sat beside Phuwin, watching the model with a concerned yet affectionate gaze.

Phuwin opened his eyes again, blinking slowly as he looked at Pond. "You look way too serious. Relax, I'm not going to die," he murmured with a faint smile, trying to lighten the mood.

Pond didn't smile. He simply touched Phuwin's forehead again and noticed that he felt even warmer, so he got up from the bed.

A few minutes later, Pond returned to Phuwin's side, carrying a damp towel and a glass of water. He sat on the edge of the bed and began gently wiping Phuwin's face, the cool touch helping to ease the warmth he felt.

"Pond, this isn't necessary," Phuwin murmured, though he made no effort to move away or stop him. In fact, the caring gesture made his heart beat faster than it should.

"Shh," Pond replied, setting the towel aside for a moment. "My lucky charm can't get sick. I'm going to take care of you, whether you like it or not." He handed Phuwin the glass of water. "Now drink this. I don't want you getting dehydrated."

Phuwin accepted the glass with a reluctant look, but his eyes shone with deep affection. He took small sips while watching Pond. The driver seemed so dedicated, so calm, that it was hard not to feel special under his care.

"Did you order porridge?" Phuwin asked, trying to shift the focus away from himself.

"Yes. I also ordered soup, some fruit, and of course, some medicine to help you feel better," Pond replied, standing up again and walking to the window to adjust the curtains. He looked out at the sea in the distance before turning his attention back to Phuwin. "But if you want anything else, just ask."

Phuwin smiled and placed the glass on the nightstand. "You're spoiling me too much, you know?"

"And are you complaining about that?" Pond raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms as a small smile played on his lips.

"Not exactly," Phuwin admitted, chuckling lightly, though his laughter was interrupted by a tired sigh. He settled back into the pillows, closing his eyes for a moment. "I'm just not used to this much attention."

Pond sat beside him on the bed, taking Phuwin's hand in his own. "Then you better start getting used to it because I'm not going anywhere."

Phuwin opened his eyes, surprised by the sincerity in Pond's voice. They exchanged a deep look, the connection between them so intense that these days together felt like years, their intimacy growing naturally and effortlessly, as if it had always been there. Phuwin felt something different with Pond, something that made him want to trust, to allow himself to be cared for—even if it was all still new to him.

Before he could respond, the doorbell rang, signaling that breakfast had arrived. Pond quickly stood up. "Stay here and rest. I'll be right back," he said, leaving the room.

Phuwin watched him go, a small but genuine smile on his lips. Even with the fever and discomfort, there was something comforting about knowing Pond was taking care of him.

When Pond returned with a tray full of food, he had a satisfied expression on his face.

He placed the tray on the side table and approached the bed again, his eyes scanning Phuwin attentively.

"Can you sit up a little to eat?" he asked, his voice low and full of care.

Phuwin sighed, feigning a little drama. "If I say no, will you feed me by hand?"

Pond laughed, shaking his head. "If necessary, I'll feed you."

The response caught Phuwin off guard, and he felt his face grow even hotter—not just because of the fever.

"Alright, alright, I'll sit," he murmured, trying to adjust himself against the pillows. Pond quickly helped him, arranging the pillows behind him to make him comfortable.

Once Phuwin was settled, Pond picked up a bowl of porridge, dipping a spoon into it and blowing gently before offering it to him.

"Pond..." Phuwin started to protest, but the driver simply raised the spoon in the air, challenging him.

"Come on, Sinn. You need to eat something warm."

Muttering under his breath, Phuwin accepted the spoonful. The comforting warmth of the broth traveled down his throat, bringing an immediate sense of relief.

"Is it good?" Pond asked, watching his reaction closely.

Phuwin nodded, still a little embarrassed about being fed like a child, but at the same time, he enjoyed the attention. He opened his mouth for a few more bites, his eyes fixed on Pond's.

After a few spoonfuls, Phuwin pulled his head back slightly. "That's enough... I'll eat more later."

Pond narrowed his eyes as if considering whether to insist, but in the end, he nodded. "Alright. But at least drink the tea."

Phuwin took the cup in his hands and sipped it slowly, appreciating its comforting warmth. When he finished, he sighed and leaned back against the pillows again. Pond then handed him some water to take with a few pills.

"Now you can sleep," Pond said, brushing aside the messy strands of Phuwin's hair once he had swallowed the medicine. "I'll stay here with you."

Phuwin blinked slowly, feeling sleep take over again. He felt the mattress shift as Pond settled beside him, gently pulling him to rest against his chest. The warmth of the driver and the rhythmic beat of his heart were all he needed to completely relax.

"Pond..." Phuwin murmured, his voice already heavy with sleep.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you."

Pond leaned in and pressed a delicate kiss to his hair. The touch was light but full of meaning.

Phuwin sighed, soaking in the sensation before offering a small smile. "If you keep this up, I might get used to it too quickly."

"That's exactly my plan," Pond replied with a mischievous glint in his eyes, pulling the blankets up over Phuwin. "Now, rest a little more. I'll be here when you wake up."

The model simply nodded, feeling the comforting warmth of Pond beside him. He intertwined their fingers one last time before finally surrendering to sleep, secure in the certainty that when he opened his eyes again, Pond would still be there.

When Phuwin woke up, it was already late, and the soft afternoon light filtered through the bedroom curtains. He blinked a few times, feeling much lighter than before, and realized his fever had broken. The discomfort had eased significantly, but in exchange, he felt sticky and sweaty, wrinkling his nose in distaste.

He lazily shifted under the sheets, noticing that Pond was still there, just as he had promised. The driver was seated in the armchair beside the bed, scrolling through his phone, but as soon as he noticed Phuwin was awake, he immediately stood up.

"Good morning—or rather, good afternoon," Pond teased, leaning over him. "How are you feeling?"

Phuwin stretched his arms and let out a small groan as he stretched his body. "Much better... just a little gross," he grumbled, making a face. "I desperately need a shower."

Pond laughed but nodded. "That's a good sign. If you're complaining, it means you're feeling well enough." He extended a hand to help Phuwin sit up. "Do you want me to help you to the bathroom?"

Phuwin arched an eyebrow, feigning indignation. "I'm not that weak."

"I know," Pond smiled, leaning in to whisper near his ear. "But any excuse to help you in the shower sounds good to me."

Phuwin instantly flushed and gave him a light shove. "Pervert."

Pond only laughed, clearly pleased with himself. "Go, before I change my mind and drag you there."

Rolling his eyes but with a smile on his lips, Phuwin got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, finally feeling refreshed.

After a hot and invigorating shower, Phuwin finally felt clean and comfortable. He took his time drying his hair and put on light clothes—a loose t-shirt and soft shorts—enjoying the fresh sensation against his skin. When he returned to the bedroom, he found Pond relaxed in the armchair, a satisfied smile on his lips as he watched Phuwin approach, clearly looking much better.

"Come here," Pond called, patting his own lap gently.

Phuwin hesitated for a moment, but the way Pond looked at him, with that mix of affection and desire, made him give in without thinking too much. He walked over and sat on his lap, fitting naturally as he felt Pond's arms wrap around him with ease.

"So..." Pond began, his fingers tracing small circles on the bare skin of Phuwin's thigh. "What do you want to do tonight?"

Phuwin bit his lower lip, feeling a little unsure. A part of him just wanted to stay there in the room, nestled in Pond's arms, watching something on TV, enjoying each other's company. But he also knew that Pond had spent the entire day taking care of him, missing the chance to explore that outdoor paradise.

"I..." He hesitated, playing with the collar of Pond's shirt. "Maybe we could go out for a bit? I don't want you to waste more time here because of me."

Pond tilted his head, gently squeezing Phuwin's waist. "Hey, don't talk like you're a burden." His voice was firm, yet filled with warmth. "If I stayed here, it was because I wanted to. Because I care about you."

Phuwin felt his heart tighten and looked away for a moment, embarrassed. Pond always seemed to disarm him with such simple words, yet they were always full of meaning.

The pilot lifted one hand to Phuwin's chin, making him look back at him. "Now, tell me what you really want to do."

Phuwin took a deep breath before answering in a softer, almost shy tone. "I want to stay here today... just the two of us."

Pond smiled, satisfied with the answer. "Perfect," he murmured, leaning in to brush his lips against Phuwin's in a slow, gentle kiss.

Phuwin relaxed against him, feeling the comforting warmth of his body. "Are you sure? Don't you want to go out for a bit?"

Pond chuckled softly, squeezing his waist lightly. "Sinn, believe me, I wouldn't trade staying here with you for anything." He ran his fingers along Phuwin's nape, pushing a few strands of hair back. "Besides, after today, all I want is to take care of you, spoil you, and stay really close."

Phuwin blushed but smiled. "So... what are we watching?"

"Something romantic," Pond suggested, winking.

Phuwin rolled his eyes, laughing. "You're impossible."

"I know you adore me." Pond squeezed his waist again before helping him up. "I'll order food. Just kidding—pick whatever you want."

After a light meal, the two settled on the couch to watch a fun variety show. Between laughter and playful comments about the absurd challenges the contestants faced, Phuwin suddenly had an idea.

He turned to Pond, his eyes shining with excitement. "What if we did something more active tomorrow? Like... scuba diving?"

Pond raised an eyebrow, surprised, but soon smiled. "Are you sure you're feeling up to it?"

Phuwin nodded. "I feel much better. And it would be a shame to come all the way here and not enjoy the ocean, right?"

Pond gently squeezed his thigh, smiling. "Then it's settled. Tomorrow morning, we go diving."

When they returned to the bedroom, the TV was playing a Thai music festival. The sparkle in Phuwin's eyes as he recognized one of the artists on stage caught Pond's attention.

"Do you want to watch?" the pilot asked, noticing how Phuwin's expression softened immediately.

Phuwin nodded with a small smile. "Yeah. I love festivals like this. I've always wanted to sing at one someday. Even though I don't plan on pursuing a music career, it must be amazing to perform on a stage like that, feeling the energy of the crowd."

Pond adjusted himself on the bed, pulling Phuwin to lie down beside him. "You should. Your voice is incredible."

Phuwin chuckled softly, a little embarrassed. "It's not that great."

Pond turned his head to look at him. "Sinn, you sing beautifully. I'd love to see you performing on a stage like this."

Pond's sincerity made Phuwin blush slightly. He looked back at the TV, but a small smile lingered on his lips.

"Maybe one day..." he murmured.

As the hours passed, the room's atmosphere was calm and intimate. Pond was comfortably lying on Phuwin's lap, his eyes half-closed, enjoying the gentle touch of the model's fingers in his hair. The caress was almost unconscious, a natural gesture of affection as Phuwin watched the festival, his eyes fixed on the screen, the soft melody filling the space.

The singer's voice echoed through the room, and without realizing it, Phuwin began singing along in a hushed tone:

"Cause baby it's, baby it's you
Babe, it's you
All these stars impossible to count
I'll be here till all time runs out..."

Pond slowly opened his eyes, watching Phuwin with a subtle smile. The way he got lost in the music, his lips moving softly, his serene expression... it was captivating.

"Baby, it's you
Baby, it's you
I would die a thousand times
Just so you can feel alright..."

Pond raised a hand, trailing his fingers delicately along Phuwin's arm, feeling the warmth of his skin under his touch. "You sing so well..." he murmured, his voice husky and full of affection.

Phuwin blinked, as if only then realizing he had been singing out loud. He glanced at Pond, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. "Habit... I like this song."

Pond smiled, an amused glint in his eyes. "Then keep singing. I love hearing you."

Phuwin hesitated for a moment, but as the next song started, he let the melody carry him again, his soft voice filling the room. Pond closed his eyes once more, completely relaxed, lulled by the sweet sound of Phuwin's voice.

The pilot gently squeezed Phuwin's waist and murmured, "If you ever sing at a festival, I want to be in the front row."

Phuwin looked at him, his eyes shining with something between shyness and happiness. "I think I'd be nervous knowing you're watching."

Pond gave him a lazy smile. "Then I'd just scream louder than everyone else to cheer you on."

Phuwin let out a soft giggle, shaking his head. "You're so silly," he murmured, running his fingers through Pond's hair again.

Pond simply smiled, his eyes glowing with a tenderness that made Phuwin's heart beat faster. He gently took the model's hand and brought it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to the tip of his fingers. "It could be more than just a dream, you know? I've already seen you on stage, Phuwin... You're incredible. I don't doubt for a second that one day this could really happen."

Phuwin felt a different kind of warmth spread through his chest. It was a genuine compliment, something beyond mere words. Pond believed in him. The idea of being at a festival, singing to a crowd, felt distant, but somehow, when it came from Pond, it sounded possible.

He bit his lip, shifting his gaze to the TV screen where another artist was performing. "You talk like I'm some great singer."

Pond squeezed his hand gently, his thumb gliding smoothly against his skin. "Maybe not yet, but I have a good eye and an excellent ear." He smirked slightly, his eyes locked on Phuwin's. "And I know talent when I see it... You could become one, Phuwin. Actually, you can be whatever you want."

Pond's words lingered in the air, filled with an unwavering confidence that made Phuwin's heart falter. It wasn't an empty compliment, nor flattery. It was a genuine belief in him, something very few people had ever expressed that way.

Phuwin blinked a few times, feeling a gentle warmth spreading in his chest. He had never really thought about it—becoming a real singer, standing on a grand stage. No, he liked having a quiet life; music had always been something he did because he enjoyed it, because it made him feel good. But hearing those words from the man in front of him felt... nice.

He swallowed hard, trying to ignore the way Pond was looking at him, as if he saw something in him that Phuwin himself couldn't. "Do you really think that?" His voice came out a little softer, almost hesitant.

Pond tilted his head, still holding his hand. "I do. And not just think... I know."

Phuwin couldn't stop the small smile that formed on his lips, shy but genuine. He squeezed Pond's fingers lightly between his own and, after a moment, let out a quiet sigh. "You really don't give up, do you..."

Pond chuckled softly, pulling Phuwin's hand to his lips and leaving a gentle kiss there. "But you like it."

Phuwin rolled his eyes, laughing lightly. "Maybe."

"Then, will you sing a little more for me?" Pond asked, his voice husky and lazy, his eyes shining with a mix of mischief and fondness.

Phuwin let out a dramatic sigh, pretending to be exasperated, but the truth was... he wanted to sing. For Pond. Just for him.

So, without thinking too much, he started humming softly, his voice blending with the gentle melody filling the room.

Pond felt his body relax even more, as if Phuwin's voice was a soft breeze wrapping around him. Each note seeped into his skin, dissolving any lingering tension, leaving only a comforting warmth behind.

Phuwin's fingers continued tracing lazy patterns through Pond's hair—a distracted touch, yet filled with affection. The pilot closed his eyes, a small smile still lingering on his lips as he simply listened, absorbed every nuance of the melody sung just for him.

There was something hypnotic about Phuwin's voice—not just because it was beautiful, but because it carried emotion, because every word felt sincere. It was different from hearing a random song on the radio. It was intimate. Special.

When the song ended, Pond slowly opened his eyes, blinking as if waking from a pleasant dream. "Do you have any idea how good it feels to hear you?" His voice was low, filled with lazy affection.

Phuwin blushed, looking away. "You exaggerate too much..."

Pond let out a soft chuckle through his nose and, without warning, pulled Phuwin down, making the model lose his balance and fall onto him on the couch. "I'm not exaggerating, I'm being honest."

Phuwin gasped, placing his hands on Pond's chest to keep himself from completely crashing into him. "Pond!"

"Shhh, I'm comfortable like this," Pond murmured, wrapping his arms around Phuwin's waist and closing his eyes again. "Just a little longer."

Phuwin sighed but didn't resist. He let his body relax, his breathing falling into sync with Pond's. Deep down, there was no harm in staying like this just a little longer.

The next morning, golden sunlight filtered through the half-open curtains, filling the room with a soft glow. The air was still fresh, carrying that peaceful early-morning feeling.

Phuwin blinked slowly, feeling the warm comfort around him before he was even fully awake. His body was wrapped in something firm and cozy—Pond's arm, holding him close, as if even in sleep, he refused to let go.

For a moment, he just lay there, feeling Pond's slow, steady breathing against his nape. It was strange, but at the same time, so natural.

He tried to move slowly, but the grip around him tightened.

"Don't even think about it," Pond murmured, his voice husky and heavy with sleep.

Phuwin smiled softly, tilting his head back just enough to look at him. "You're already awake?"

"I was sleeping until you started moving," Pond grumbled, burying his face in Phuwin's neck for a moment before sighing. "Good morning, Sinn."

Phuwin felt warmth spread through his chest at that lazy, sleep-laced tone. "Good morning."

They stayed like that for a few more moments until Phuwin finally moved, turning to face Pond. "Weren't we going diving today?"

Pond slowly opened his eyes, a sleepy smile forming. "We can dive... after breakfast. But first, five more minutes."

Phuwin let out a small laugh, but deep down, he didn't mind staying a little longer. So, he just nodded and closed his eyes again.

The sun was high in the sky when they arrived at the diving spot, a paradise-like cove with crystal-clear blue waters. The team was already waiting with the equipment, and Tay and New, who had joined them for the experience, were excitedly chatting about the marine species they might see.

As the instructor explained the technical details and safety measures, Phuwin focused on helping Pond with his gear. His fingers moved with precision as he adjusted the straps of the mask on the pilot's face and carefully checked the oxygen tank.

Tay and New, already suited up, watched the scene with amused smiles.

"Look at them, how cute," Tay remarked, crossing his arms. "Phuwin is practically treating Pond like he's made of porcelain."

Phuwin shot him a mildly annoyed look, but before he could respond, Pond spoke first, a satisfied smile on his face.

"Let him spoil me," he said, winking at Phuwin. "I like it."

Phuwin huffed, rolling his eyes, but the light pink tint on his cheeks gave him away.

New laughed. "You two are seriously a comedy show."

The instructor caught the group's attention again, reinforcing the final instructions before they entered the water. Phuwin and Pond exchanged a knowing glance, and once they were ready, they followed the others into the dive.

As soon as they submerged, Phuwin felt the world around him transform. The sound became muffled, replaced only by the soft rhythm of his breathing through the regulator. The crystal-clear water surrounded them like an infinite blue curtain, revealing a scene that seemed straight out of a dream.

The corals glowed in vibrant shades of orange, purple, and blue, forming underwater gardens that pulsed with life. Schools of tropical fish swam in perfect synchrony, their scales reflecting the sunlight that penetrated the surface like golden beams dancing beneath the waves.

Phuwin, who had always loved visiting aquariums and spent hours admiring marine life behind thick glass, was now here—inside this magical world, with no barriers, no distance. Every movement of the fish, every sway of the anemones in rhythm with the ocean, every tiny bubble escaping from his equipment made him hold his breath in awe.

He turned to Pond, his heart racing—not from nerves, but from pure excitement. Pond was already watching him, his eyes shining behind the diving mask. When he noticed the wonder on Phuwin's face, he gently squeezed his hand in a silent gesture, as if to say: Amazing, isn't it?

Phuwin smiled, even though Pond couldn't fully see it, and returned the squeeze before swimming a little further ahead. Tay and New, who were slightly ahead, excitedly pointed at a sea turtle gliding gracefully between the corals. Phuwin lightly touched Pond's arm and motioned with his head for him to look.

The turtle moved slowly, serene, as if it belonged to a different universe where time passed differently. A shiver ran through Phuwin's body—not from the cold, but from genuine emotion.

This is real. I'm here.

Without thinking too much, he reached out to Pond. The pilot took his hand without hesitation, loosely intertwining their fingers as they floated together in the vast blue. It was a small gesture, but filled with meaning—a reminder that, in that moment, in that underwater paradise, they were exactly where they were meant to be.

After more time exploring the reef, the instructor signaled that it was time to ascend. Phuwin felt a pang of reluctance, wanting to stay longer, absorbing every detail, every color, every movement. But he knew they had to surface.

When they finally broke through the surface, the sun welcomed them with its comforting warmth. Phuwin removed his mask, running a hand over his wet face as he tried to catch his breath.

"That was..." He trailed off, unable to find words that could truly capture what he had just experienced.

Pond smiled, removing his own mask and moving closer. "Incredible?"

Phuwin nodded slowly, his eyes still glowing from the experience. "It was more than that... it was magical."

Pond watched him for a moment, his lips curling into a genuine smile before replying:

"It was, but you know what was even better?"

Phuwin raised an eyebrow, curious. "What?"

Pond moved closer, his face still dripping with salt water. "Doing this with you." His voice was low but filled with sincerity.

Phuwin's heart gave an involuntary leap. He blushed slightly but didn't look away. Instead, he smiled and gave Pond a small, playful push on the chest.

"You really have no shame," he murmured.

Pond laughed, but before he could respond, Tay and New swam over.

"You two can flirt later," Tay teased. "For now, let's get back to the shore before you become fish food."

Phuwin rolled his eyes but followed his friends back to the boat. His body still carried the sensation of the water, the soft touch of Pond, the beauty of that underwater world. And deep down, he knew he would never forget this day.

After returning to the boat, Phuwin sat at the edge, still processing everything he had experienced underwater. He gazed out at the ocean in front of him, his heart still beating fast, but now with a peaceful kind of joy. The wind ruffled his damp hair, and the salty breeze caressed his sun-warmed skin.

Beside him, Pond shook out his soaked hair and stretched lazily, letting out a satisfied sigh. "Not bad for our first dive together, huh?"

Phuwin smirked, his eyes gleaming. "It was perfect."

Tay and New approached, dropping their fins and sitting nearby. "You looked like a kid on Christmas morning down there, Phuwin," New commented with a laugh. "I've never seen anyone so mesmerized."

Phuwin chuckled softly, shrugging. "I've always loved aquariums and marine life... but being in there, seeing everything up close, was something else." He sighed, gazing at the endless blue again. "It felt like a dream."

"Then that makes four of us dreaming together," Pond said, smiling as he leaned slightly closer to him. "And I'm really happy I got to share this with you."

Phuwin bit his lip, looking away for a moment, feeling his heart warm at Pond's words. But before he could respond, Tay clapped his hands on his knees and stood up.

"Well, now that we survived our first dive of the day, I think we deserve a proper meal," he declared. "I'm starving."

New laughed. "You're always starving."

"Hey, diving makes you hungry!" Tay retorted, crossing his arms.

Phuwin laughed, relaxing a little more. "There's food on the boat, right?"

Pond nodded. "Yeah, it's already being prepared. But how about we eat on the beach? We can rest a bit before deciding what to do next."

Everyone agreed, and soon the boat docked near a small hidden beach with white sand and crystal-clear waters. The group settled under the shade of a large tree, where an improvised table was set up with fresh fruit, rice, seafood, and some chilled drinks.

As they ate, they talked about the dive, reminiscing about the most memorable moments. Phuwin listened attentively, but every now and then, he caught himself watching Pond, who spoke enthusiastically about the turtle and the fish they had encountered.

It was strange. Not long ago, he had only seen Pond as a famous racer, someone who seemed to belong to a completely different world from his own. But now... now he saw someone who shared moments, laughter, small gestures of affection.

And the more he looked, the more he realized he didn't want this to end.

After lunch, they decided to relax on the sand for a while. The sun was already beginning to descend on the horizon, painting the sky in soft shades of gold and pink. Tay and New went off to explore some nearby rocks, while Pond and Phuwin remained seated side by side, their feet touching the warm water.

Pond looked at him, a small smile on his lips. "What are you thinking about?"

Phuwin sighed, hugging his knees. "That I'll never forget this day."

Pond was silent for a moment, just watching the sea. Then, he turned slightly to him and spoke softly:

"If it's up to me, we'll have many unforgettable days together."

Phuwin swallowed hard, feeling something warm spread through his chest.

And, for the first time, he allowed himself to think that maybe it wasn't so scary to believe in it.

The rest of the day passed like magic, each moment filled with new discoveries and shared little joys. They explored hidden caves, swam in crystal-clear waters, and even fed schools of curious fish that fearlessly approached them. Time seemed to slip through their fingers, as fleeting as the waves that came and went with the tide.

When night fell, the group decided to end the day with dinner at a charming seaside restaurant. The place had a cozy atmosphere, with warm yellow lights hanging from the ceiling like fireflies trapped in the air. The scent of spices and grilled seafood blended with the salty breeze, and the sound of waves crashing in the distance created a soft, almost hypnotic melody.

Phuwin sat at the table, taking in the ambiance, but one detail, in particular, caught his attention. In the corner of the room, near the windows that opened to the sea, stood a grand piano of a classic brand, its black wood gleaming under the ambient light. However, no one was playing it. The bench was empty, and the silence lingered over the keys like an untold secret.

He couldn't take his eyes off it.

Pond, always observant, noticed the sparkle in his eyes and leaned in slightly. "You play, don't you?"

Phuwin blinked, surprised at being caught. "Hm... a little."

Pond raised an eyebrow, amused. "Sinn?"

Tay and New, who were already engrossed in the menus, looked up at the exchange.

"Phuwin plays?" Tay asked, curious. The model nodded.

New smiled. "Makes sense. He used to sing in bars."

"Then why not take the chance?" Pond suggested, tilting his head toward the piano. "I think everyone here would love to hear you."

Phuwin felt his cheeks warm. The idea of playing in a restaurant full of strangers didn't scare him—he was used to performing. But the idea of playing under Pond's watchful gaze... that, that made his heart race in a completely different way.

"I don't know..." He bit his lip, hesitant.

"Oh, come on," New encouraged. "Take advantage of the fact that the pianist didn't show up."

Tay nodded. "Exactly! If anyone asks, we'll say you were hired at the last minute."

Pond chuckled softly, but there was something more in his expression—a certain gleam in his eyes, as if he truly wanted to see Phuwin at that makeshift stage. Then, he added, "You can go if you want. I know the owner here, he's a huge fan of mine."

Phuwin took a deep breath. Maybe it was the magical atmosphere of the night, maybe it was the way Pond looked at him, as if he genuinely wanted to see him play.

Taking a deep breath, he stood up. "Alright. Just one song."

Pond smiled, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Phuwin walked to the piano, each step echoing in his chest. He sat on the bench and let his fingers glide gently over the keys, feeling their weight, their familiarity. He inhaled deeply and, without thinking too much, began to play.

The melody filled the air like a gentle wave, flowing with softness and emotion. He chose a song that carried a bit of everything he felt at that moment—joy, nostalgia, a touch of something new and indescribable. As he played, the murmurs of conversation in the restaurant began to fade, and soon the only sound besides the waves was the music flowing from his hands.

When the last note dissipated into the air, a brief silence hung before being broken by warm applause. Phuwin smiled shyly and stood up, giving a small bow before returning to the table.

Pond was watching him with a different look—warm, intense, almost devouring.

"That was beautiful, truly magical, perfect," he said softly as Phuwin sat beside him.

Phuwin looked away, absentmindedly fidgeting with the napkin on the table. "You always exaggerate."

"I'm not exaggerating," Pond replied, a small smile on his lips. "I could really listen to you play forever, I swear."

Phuwin, his cheeks tinged red, opened his mouth to respond, but before he could think of anything, New intervened: "Well, after that special performance, I think we should toast, right?"

Tay raised his glass. "Great idea. To our perfect day."

Pond smiled and raised his as well. "To Phuwin and his natural musical talent."

Phuwin rolled his eyes but couldn't hide his smile as they toasted. The night continued with laughter, more stories, and playful teasing between them.

When they finally left the restaurant, they decided to take a walk along the beach before heading back to the hotel. The night breeze carried the scent of the sea, and the sound of the waves breaking on the shore made everything even more peaceful.

New and Tay walked a little ahead, leaving Pond and Phuwin strolling side by side. The silence between them was comfortable, broken only by the sound of the waves and the occasional laughter from their friends further ahead.

Pond lightly kicked the sand, casting a discreet glance at Phuwin. "Are you happy?"

Phuwin took a deep breath, letting the wind tousle his hair. "I am. Today was... special."

Pond smiled, satisfied. "Then let's make more days like this."

The simplicity of the phrase made Phuwin pause for a second. He turned to look at Pond, who was now watching him under the soft glow of the moon. There was something in his gaze—something calm, genuine.

Without realizing it, Phuwin smiled.

"Let's."

When they returned to the room, the magical atmosphere of the day lingered between them. They stared at each other for a long moment, saying nothing. The silence wasn't uncomfortable—on the contrary, it felt charged with something neither of them dared to name.

Phuwin's heart was beating faster than usual, as if the entire night had been building up to this moment without him realizing it. Pond, on the other hand, stood there in front of him, his gaze warm and intense, as if he was seeing more than just the boy who had played the piano a few hours ago.

"Today was truly an unforgettable day," Pond murmured, stepping closer.

Phuwin swallowed hard. "Yeah, it was."

The space between them felt too small. The air carried the scent of the sea, the breeze drifted in through the open window, and the dim light from the bedside lamp cast soft shadows across the room—everything adding to the feeling that they were caught in a moment neither wanted to break.

Pond raised one of his hands hesitantly, as if he wanted to touch Phuwin, but was waiting for a signal to continue. "Sinn..." He called softly.

Phuwin then moved towards the pilot and it was the signal the pilot needed, Pond then pulled Phuwin close, sliding his fingers behind his neck. Their lips met in a light kiss, charged with all the emotion of that day. Phuwin wrapped his arms around Pond's neck, opening his mouth wider when he felt his tongue invade his cavity. He hated to admit it, but Pond knew just how to steal his breath away, how to make every inch of his body tremble, yearning for more. Phuwin nibbled on the other man's lip, feeling the salty taste of the sea on the tip of his tongue. He slid his fingers down his back, lightly scratching the skin, teasing him. Pond gasped, pulling Phuwin closer and digging his nails into the back of his neck. Their panting breaths mingled, their bodies rubbing together. Pond separated his lips from the other, trailing his mouth down the target's neck, running his tongue over the skin, smelling the sweet scent and the soft texture. Phuwin let out an almost inaudible sigh, his mind spinning with every touch. Pond smiled at the sight of Phuwin's lips parted, his eyes closed, messy hair covering his eyes. He raised his hand, touching the model's face, that touch so delicate and yet so deep.

Phuwin opened his eyes, his expression clouded with desire. Pond let their gazes meet, and for a moment, the whole situation became very real.

There was no night, no sea, no friends, no dream of a future that perhaps only existed in the depths of their hearts. There was just him and Pond, alone in the world. Pond stroked Phuwin's face gently, his fingers gliding along his jaw, his cheek. "How can I want you so much?" The voice came out low, husky and sincere, leaving Pond completely exposed. Phuwin swallowed, feeling his chest tighten at the same time as a warmth spread through his body.

With a slow gesture, he reached for Pond's hand, entwining them, the skin firm but so warm. His gaze was deep, filled with desire and even more feelings that Phuwin wasn't prepared to put into words. It was frightening, but at the same time comforting, because deep down he knew - he knew he was exactly where he belonged. He couldn't even formulate words, he just stared at Pond, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.

Then Pond spun him onto the bed, and, in one synchronized movement, they both fell together, with Phuwin on top, his clothes slowly being removed. "You have no idea how much I want you inside me again," Pond whispered, running his tongue over Phuwin's shoulder, slowly down, exploring every part.

The touch was hot, intense, loaded with so many desires and promises that Phuwin could hardly breathe. The sweet taste of Phuwin's skin mixed with the saltiness of the breeze, the night, the moon. It was the best thing in the world for Pond "I want you to understand what you make me feel." The pilot whispered, his voice hoarse with desire.

Phuwin, already completely naked, moaned softly, his hands moving aimlessly down Pond's back. He felt so exposed, so vulnerable - and, at the same time, so loved. He sank his face into Pond's neck, inhaling his scent, his skin. And then Pond filled him with his member, making him moan against his neck, his whole body tingling with arousal. The taste of his skin, his hoarse moans, the soft texture of the skin under his fingers. Phuwin moaned, gasped, feeling himself being taken over slowly, every part of his being being filled, consumed by that man, by the night, by the gentle hands, the strong fingers that held him to the mattress. And neither of them had the capacity to think, to speak, to do anything other than immerse themselves in that whirlwind of sensations, to let the night envelop them, to welcome them into their own reality, which only existed between the two of them.

While Phuwin was still recovering, Pond held him in his arms, his body limp, his eyes closed. His hair was wet, his skin sweaty, his breathing still labored. "The night couldn't have ended any better than this Sinn." The pilot whispered.

Phuwin, still with a faint smile on his lips, rested his head against Pond's chest, his breathing slowly falling in sync with the other's.

The silence of the night enveloped them, the lingering warmth still pulsing within, that feeling so intense yet strangely familiar. It was the most incredible thing Phuwin had ever experienced. And though he still couldn't quite put into words what it all meant, he didn't deny it—this feeling, this sensation of being close to Pond in this way, was undeniable.

Pond ran his fingers gently through Phuwin's damp hair, feeling his breathing gradually steady. There was no need to fill the silence with words—the warmth of their bodies pressed together, the way their hearts seemed to beat in unison, already said everything.

Phuwin tightened his arms slightly around Pond, as if trying to hold him there a little longer. He didn't want the moment to end. He didn't want to return to a reality where everything could be more complicated, where feelings needed to be explained. Here, in this instant, nothing needed an explanation.

"Are you okay?" Pond asked, his voice soft, filled with a tenderness that made Phuwin close his eyes for a moment.

"I am," he whispered. "I think I've never been better."

Pond smiled against his hair and pulled him closer, as if trying to etch the sensation into his skin.

Time moved slowly until Phuwin, hovering between sleep and wakefulness, murmured softly:

"Can we stay like this for a while?"

Pond didn't hesitate. "For as long as you want, Sinn."

And there, wrapped in the peaceful darkness of the night and the warmth of each other, they fell asleep together, as if it was the only place in the world they were meant to be.

The next morning, after a shared shower full of affection and laughter, both still with their hearts warmed by the closeness of the previous night, Phuwin was carefully drying Pond's hair. The sound of the blow dryer mixed with the gentle touch of his hands, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. They were eager for the new day, excited to continue enjoying their time together.

But the tranquility didn't last long.

The firm knock on the door made them jump.

"I'm coming in!" New's voice echoed through the room before either of them could respond.

Phuwin barely had time to drop the towel when he saw New cross the doorway.

Pond's manager, visibly nervous, rushed in, running his hand over his face as if trying to organize his thoughts before speaking. His eyes landed on Pond, then on Phuwin, but he wasted no time with pleasantries.

"Pond, we have a problem."

Pond furrowed his brow, sitting up straight in bed. The serious tone in his manager's voice wiped away any remnants of tranquility.

"What happened?"

In the next chapter:

Phuwin deals with insecurities.

Notes:

Author's Notes: I know I've been absent, guys, but it was for big reasons... first, I had that exam I told you about, I started a project that's taking up some of my time, my mom got sick and it was a really tough time for me. Now, in mid-January, she's finally feeling better... then, at the start of January, I got a job that takes up a lot of my time, especially during this initial phase as I'm adjusting to the routine... Since I know you've been missing the story, this chapter was more than half ready, so I managed to finish it and post it here for you. I promise I'll make an effort to not let the next chapter take as long. Now, please share your thoughts with me.

Notes:

Although the fanfic focuses on romance, those who know me know that I like to work with elements from the universes I bring as a central piece. So, this time will be the same, maybe a little less intense than Rise, or not. Let's find out together.

In conclusion, I hope you enjoy this new adventure of mine.

I wanted to dedicate this story to three people who were very important in my process of creating some elements of this fanfic and who motivated me to write it:

@pondphuwiner

@Mixxiw799

@MelJoylada

This fanfic was loosely inspired by elements from "Caminhos das Borboletas," a book that tells the story of Adriane Galisteu and Ayrton Senna.

In the Netflix series "Drive to Survive."

And from years of experience as a passionate fan of this sport.

That being said, I will try to post the first chapter as soon as possible, maybe over the weekend or at the beginning of next week.

Kisses, please comment on what you thought of this new project.
