That's all it took.
That's all it took for Robin to fall to the ground.
That's all it took for me to scream out.
That's all it took for me messenger's to shoot.
That's all it took for the wolf to go down.
That's all it took for me to see him, laying against the bar's counter.
I could only press against that wound.
He felt so cold.
His blood felt so warm.
" Please stay with me. "
I begged.
" Please. You can't do this to me. He ain't worth it. "
I begged, tears rolling down my feathers.
*" Please. "*
I begged again.
His chest rose.
His chest fell.
His chest didn't move again.
" Robin, please.. "
His chest remained still.
