Summary: Gibbs interrogates Darla.

Darla smirked and studied her nails as she listened to the whispering going on behind the two-way glass. Apparently, no one in the Council told them about a vampire’s heightened senses she thought for a moment before a siren erupted, making her cringe and cover her ears in pain.
An older gentleman walked into the room as the ringing subsided, a smirk on his own face. “Crude but effective; sounds like Harris alright,” he commented to her as he sat down. Keeping the folder closed in front of him, he studied her through narrowed eyes. She already knew this was Special Agent Jethro Gibbs- her spies had been nothing but thorough on the main members of his team. How they’d missed the fact that one of his newest members came from Sunnydale meant she’d be short a couple of spies once she was out of custody.
“So, Darla, you gonna tell me why you and your crew has been using Nosferatu as your feeding grounds lately?” he asked, ignoring her shocked expression. Humans outside the Council preferred sticking their heads in the sand, but she could see this wouldn’t be the case with Gibbs or his people.
“I mean,” he continued “We would have been fine with the Slayers policing you as they generally do, but you had to go and kill an ensign, and, well, the Navy takes justice on those kinds of cases a bit more seriously. You understand?”
Darla put on her most ingratiating smile. “Agent Gibbs, I’m sure this is all just one big misunderstanding. I mean, you can’t blame me for something a random patron did,” she said, holding her hands out to him, a mockery of innocence.
Gibbs nodded in understand as he opened up the folder and glanced down at the contents. “Yes, we can’t charge you if some random person just happened to be using your club as a hunting ground, but when we have evidence about your little exploits here in town since Drusilla brought you back,” he said, slamming down photos of her in full vamp face feeding on one of her victims and another shot of her and Dru talking.
“But- how? You’re not Council - they don’t like working with law enforcement!”
Jethro’s grin grew wider. “Oh, that may be how it was with the previous Watchers, but the New Council is perfectly happy with my team being read in after the fact. So now, we turn you over to the Slayers and register a prisoner escape with full knowledge from those of higher rank than me,” he told her as the door opened to reveal an older, wiser Buffy with a wide grin on her face.
“Darla, so good to see you again!”
