Adopted By... A Rockstar?

Chapter Text

*Devin's POV*
"No, I'm not. I'm your friend, not your adopted uncle. Don't feel guilty about it." I said, she looked up at me and smiled. "C'mon, your Dad's waiting for you. We can't tell him about this though." I said, she nodded and grabbed one of her bags and slung her backpack over her shoulder with her free hand. 'It may have been an innocent kiss between us but this was Chris we're talking about. I love Eve enough to not risk anything.' I thought as I grabbed her hand and walked downstairs with get after I had grabbed whatever was left of her bags. Chris smiled when we got downstairs and told us to straight to the bus as he and Ricky had some forms to fill out. After I'd gotten Eve settled in with me Chris walked in with Ricky and his daughter, the driver closed the doors and we drove to the venue where we were gonna be playing in just over 2 hours.

*After the concert, Marilyn Manson's POV*
I smiled as my newly adopted daughter Kaliyah stepped away from the drum set and ran over to me. She had just played a full set with my band and I without getting tired, she squealed as she hugged me and kissed my cheek. "You did so good!" I said, she smiled. "So did you dad!" She said excitedly. "Do you wanna go grab some celebratory ice cream with us and the guys from Motionless? They're bringing their daughters." I said, she smiled and nodded her head yes. We left and joined everyone else at a small shop down the street after a meet and greet. Afterwards we were on our way back to the busses when she started screaming 'This Is Halloween' and I smiled.

*Two months later, Eve's POV*
I smiled as I curled up on the couch in our room, tour had ended and we were on our way home for a few months before hitting the road again. "Eve, do you ever think about the future?" He asked, I looked up into his beautiful brown eyes and smiled. "All the time." I said, he smiled and kissed my forehead. We'd been watching random movies all morning but I'd grown bored of them. "What do you see when you think about the future?" I asked, he blushed and looked down at our entangled hands. "I see you and I." He said quietly, I blushed and smiled wider as he looked back up at me. I ran my fingers through his curly black and green hair and kissed his cheek, he smiled and pulled me closer to him. He rubbed his thumb over my cheek lovingly before closing his eyes and kissing me, I kissed him back and mentally smiled. Someone cleared their throat and Devin pulled away, I sighed and looked into his beautiful eyes as he opened them and hoped it wasn't my dad. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything." My uncle Josh said, Devin let out a sigh of relief. "Josh, you can't tell Chris about this." Dev said, Josh smirked. "I've known about you guys since Chris adopted Eve, why would I tell him now when you'll tell him in your own time?" He said, I rested my head on Devin's shoulder and closed my eyes. Josh left and locked as well as closed the door behind him before Devin pulled me down so I was laying on him with my head on his chest. I quietly yawned and felt him wrap his arms around me after he pulled a blanket around us as we were in a cold bus in a cold state. "You can take a nap if you want to. I won't let anyone take you." He whispered, I kissed the spot over his heart and fell asleep to the sounds of Devin's heart beat and him humming a song to me. When I woke up later that afternoon I was alone, I wrapped the blanket around me and smiled because it smelled like my Devin. I got up and wandered around the house. Wait, house? We were home and nobody told me? "Devin? Dad?" I asked quietly, I heard a girl talking to someone and walked into the room that they were in.

*Josephine's POV*
I smiled as my best friend Eve's dad Chris showed me around the house, the guy Eve was talking to when she got adopted brought some food into a room and closed the door behind him. "That's Devin, we call him Ghost though." Chris said, I wondered why they called him that. "We call him Ghost because when he joined the band he had short black hair, dark clothes and pale skin. Everyone thought he was a ghost at first and I guess it kinda just stuck with him." He said, I smiled and looked up to see Eve who had just stepped into the doorway. "Hey Dad, hey Josephine!" She said excitedly, I hugged her and she hugged me back. "How are your dads?" She asked, I smiled wider. "Absolutely perfect." I said, she grinned. "You're sooo lucky." She said, I nodded my head no. "We both are." I said. A little while later Devin walked in and hugged Eve as he whispered something into her ear, she smiled and held his hands. He sat down and pulled her onto his lap, she rested her head on his chest. I looked over at Chris who was smiling too. "What's on the agenda for dinner?" Devin asked, Chris shrugged. "I don't know, how about takeout?" He asked, I told him that I could make chicken and rice but he told me that I shouldn't have to worry about it. I looked back over at Eve and Devin and wondered what was between them.

*Two days later, Eve's POV*
I smiled as I walked into the living room and curled up in a recliner as I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. Nightmare Before Christmas was going to be on in ten minutes so I got up and walked into the kitchen, I got everything ready for popcorn and jumped when someone's arms wrapped around my waist. "Whatcha making sweetheart?" Devin asked as he kissed my neck, I smiled. "Apple pie popcorn so I can have something to eat while watching one of the best movies ever." I said, he rested his head on my shoulder and helped me make everything. After it was done we walked into the living room and curled up together, me sitting between his legs and his arm wrapped around me. We sang a few songs to each other and enjoyed together time before Ryan and Ricky walked in with Ashlynn and joined us. I looked up at Dev and traced hearts on his hand before standing up and beginning to reenact the final scene from the movie. We sang to each other just like Jack and Sally and, before we remembered who was with us, we kissed just like Jack and Sally did. I quickly pulled away and blushed as a chorus of 'awwws' was heard. 'Three more people know... What's gonna happen now?' I asked myself as tears welled up in my eyes, Devin saw and hugged me. "Shhh, you're okay princess. It'll be okay." Devin whispered into my ear, I wrapped my arms around him and closed my eyes.

*Devin's POV, 3 days later*
I stared at the ceiling of my room as I tried to fall asleep, it was late but I couldn't help but lie awake. I sighed as the scene of a few days ago replayed in my head for the trillionth time.
*flashback, 2 days earlier*
"Devin, we can't just straight up tell dad that we want to date! He'll kill us!" Eve said, I looked into her golden brown eyes and held her hand. "Eve, everything will be okay. I promise. I'm sure he'll be fine with it, we just have to give him some time to get used to the idea of us being together." I said, she sighed and looked down at the floor. My free hand drifted up to her chin as I lifted her face up to look at me, my eyes drifted to her lips as I leaned forward and kissed her. She closed her eyes and kissed me back as her free hand rested on the back of my neck. We pulled back and smiled. "I love you princess." "I love you my prince."
*end of flashback*
The door to my room opened and I saw Eve's head peek around the door. "Ghosty?" She asked quietly. "Yeah baby?" I asked, she came in and closed the door behind her before climbing into bed with me. "I had a nightmare... Could I stay with you tonight?" She asked, I looked into her eyes and saw tears in them. "Oh sweetheart, of course you can. I'll always be here to protect you."
