Whatever the case, I hope my squawking Sokka impressions brought you some joy.

2) Thank you to MuffinLance. First, for writing such an amazing story. Salvage filled a hole in my heart that I didn't even know was empty before I read it, and it is truly a gift to the world. Second, thank you for letting me record these chapters. It’s scary to come late to the party. Especially when listeners already have expectations for how characters and terms are supposed to sound. I only started reading fan fiction about 4 months ago, and this was one of the first things I stumbled into, so I've kinda been flailing not really sure what I'm doing or what the rules are. You've been super welcoming in the comments and on Tumblr. I love this story so much and everyone needs to read it/listen to it.

3) Thank you ariaelwen for making Chapters 1 to 11 of the Salvage podfic so far! I cannot wait to hear your recordings of more chapters when they come out. I listened to your audios while lying on my favorite rock by the ocean. I really hope I'm not stepping on your toes by cranking out this rushed version. The Salvage podfic is your baby, and this is just an interim version until your high-quality chapters are ready.

4) Thanks also to everyone for tolerating my long-winded TedTalks about Chinese language in the notes sections....On the topic of long-winded TedTalks about Chinese language, I pronounced sifu (shīfu, shih fu, 師傅 "master") based on a Taiwan/Southernish PRC Mandarin pronunciation since those areas tend to drop the "h" (shi to si) but I think the TV series is doing a Cantonese pronunciation (si1 fu6) (对唔住，我唔會講廣東話!)
