“Here.” Iruka said softly, handing over a steaming mug.
“Thanks.” Kakashi smiled.
He took a sip as Iruka sat beside him, and his eyes widened in surprise as rich chocolatey flavours exploded in his mouth.
“I thought you were making coffee.”
“I was, but it’s snowing; and hot chocolate goes down better, don’t you think?”
Kakashi took another sip; and his heart instantly filled with warmth.
“Maa, you just might be onto something here.”
“So you like it?” Iruka asked. “I know it’s not what you wanted, but…”
Kakashi leaned in and kissed Iruka.
“It’s perfect.” He murmured. “Like you.”
