Summary
Three years after life decided to throw everything but the kitchen sink at them, Eddie, Buck, Maddie, and Chimney have made it back to solid ground. They're stronger than ever, their little families growing and blossoming and safe. The way things should've always been. A short getaway right before Christmas seems like the perfect way to celebrate how far they've come, and even an unexpected wrench in their plans isn't enough to dampen the mood.
But when Eddie, Maddie, and Chim get back to an empty house--hours after Buck should've made it home with the kids--they quickly realize that the unexpected wrench must've done more damage than they thought.
Buck, Christopher, and Jee-Yun are in trouble.
