Kakashi lifted the wrapped package from beneath the tree, and turned it over in his hands. It felt heavy for its size, with some very odd shapes. He thought it might be new gear or a collectable weapon, but it didn’t quite feel like that. Or anything else. It was intriguing.
Kakashi studied the gift with his sharingan, memorising how it was wrapped; and, knowing he was alone, he opened it. He had to know what was inside.
Kakashi stared in confusion.
Rocks? And a note?
Kakashi read the message.
Nice Try. It said.
Dammit. Iruka had bested him again.
