Summary
Bucky has never really seen the appeal of humans before, never cared enough about one to keep them as a pet. Sure, he enjoys their company from time to time and he'd never mistreat his blood slaves, but to actually fall for a human? Just wasn't something he was interested in.
He had no plans of settling down and falling for anyone, that is until he laid eyes on Steve. Now Bucky's obsessed and even more than that, he finds that he actually cares about this human's fleeting life. The only problem is that Steve's only real interest seems to lie in Bucky's blood.
After things with Steve's addiction to vamp blood take a turn for the worst, Bucky heads back home to Romania to put some distance between them and returns to find that Steve has found comfort in someone else. He left so Steve could overcome his addiction, but when Steve ends up in the hospital, Bucky once more finds himself feeding him blood.
This time around Tony's there, too, and Bucky finds himself falling for the stubborn human that insists he wants to help with Steve's recovery.
