Summary
Upon his return from France at the end of the Great War, Lord Oliver Queen, Marquess and Heir to the Dukedom of Starling expects the world to be different. In many ways it is, but it is also remarkably the same. His father still wishes for him to step up as the heir and assume the responsibility that goes with that. However, Oliver, plagued with the memory of his time at the Front and the loss of his best friend on the battlefield, can’t help but pray for change to sew its seeds.
He just never expected that change to arrive in the form of his family’s new housemaid, Felicity Smoak. She harbours many a secret and frustration of her own but it is her remarkable effect on Oliver that tips both their worlds on their heads in ways neither expected.
