I Know What You Did Freshman Year

Chapter Text

Jimin shoved his last sweatshirt into his suitcase and sighed. He was really going on the end of year college freshman trip. The past year had been a wild ride and he couldn’t wait to spend a whole week with his best friends in a city he’d never visited before.

He zipped the suitcase closed and jumped slightly at the sound of the doorbell. A smile spread across his face and he pulled his bookbag on his shoulders before running down the stairs, suitcase dragging behind him. He yanked the door open and jumped into the waiting boy’s arms, giggling. His bookbag fell on the floor, forgotten.

“Happy to see me, babe?” Minhyuk teased, pulling out of the hug and ruffling the smaller boy’s hair. Jimin nodded and pulled him inside since it was cold.

“Obviously. Why wouldn’t I be excited to see the most handsome boyfriend in the world.” Jimin teased back.

Someone cleared their throat behind them and Jimin turned quickly, a blush creeping up his cheeks. His sister, Hana, was leaning against the wall, smirking. “Am I interrupting you two lovebirds?”

Jimin shook his head quickly. “No! Of course not!” He said nervously. Hana was like a twin to him even if she was a year older so she knew everything about him. No one else in the family did, though. They all thought Minhyuk was just a friend.

Hana rolled her eyes and pushed off the wall to wrap Jimin in a tight hug. “Please, you’ve been dating for seven months and you really think that no one else in this family knows?”

Jimin hugged her back and buried his face in her shoulder. “Hush. I’d like to think no one knows.” He whispered.

Hana sighed and rubbed his back, smiling fondly. “I’m gonna miss you, even if it’s only for a week.”

Jimin pushed her back a little, biting his bottom lip so he wouldn’t cry. “Stop it.” He was gonna miss her too, though.

Minhyuk sighed a little, still standing by the door. “Jimin, we really have to go if we’re gonna catch the plane.

Jimin’s eyes widened and he nodded, grabbing his bags again. Then his parents rounded the corner and they both pulled him into a hug, making his bags fall again. His mom was already close to tears.

“Guys, I’ll be fine. Stop worrying.” Jimin mumbled, even as he hugged them tight.

Minhyuk sighed again, quieter than before and he picked up Jimin’s bags. “I’ll just go put these in the car. Try to hurry.” Then he added, after glancing at the family. “Please.”

Jimin glanced over his shoulder as the door slammed shut but he immediately turned back because two more people were running at him. His younger brother, Beomseok, jumped into his arms, and his little sister, Aecha, wrapped her arms around his waist.

“Gosh guys, you act like I’m never gonna see you again.” Jimin joked, hugging his siblings close.

Aecha scoffed and Beomseok dropped to the floor. “Nope! I just like your hugs.” Beomseok said as he ran off before Jimin could pinch him.

Aecha ran after him, screaming. “First one to the game room gets to pick the game!”

Jimin rolled his eyes and gave his parents and Hana one more hug each before walking out to the already running car. He was grinning from ear to ear as he hopped in.

“You made sure we were rooming together, right babe?” Minhyuk asked, reaching over to set his hand on Jimin’s thigh as he reversed out of the driveway.

Jimin blushed slightly but nodded, placing his hand over Minhyuk’s larger one. “Yeah. We’ve got a room to ourselves for a week.” He chewed on his bottom lip again as Minhyuk smirked.

“Lots of time to do lots of things.” Minhyuk mumbled. His smirk grew when he glanced over and saw how red Jimin was. They’d slept together before, many times, but Jimin was always nervous when they talked about it.

“Yup.” Jimin whispered. He pulled out his phone and texted his best friends, Taehyung and Jungkook, to let them know they were almost there.

When they pulled into the parking lot of the school, the buses were already loaded. Only a few people were climbing on now. Jimin grabbed his bags quickly and ran to the bus with Minhyuk right behind him.

Taehyung spotted Jimin first and he jumped up, crushing his best friend in a tight hug while showing off his boxy smile.

Minhyuk sighed and grabbed Jimin’s shoulder, pulling him into a seat a few rows back. Jimin smiled apologetically at a sad looking Taehyung before flopping down beside his boyfriend. “You know you are unnecessarily jealous when it comes to Tae. And Kook. You realize they’re totally head over heels for each other, even if they don’t know it yet, right?” Jimin said, pouting slightly.

Minhyuk just sighed again and shrugged. “Switch seats with me. You get the window.” He said before standing up, giving Jimin no choice but to scoot towards the window. Minhyuk sat back down quickly with his back facing Jimin so he could talk to all of his jock friends. They all whooped and hollered Minhyuk’s name.

Jimin just pouted more and texted Taehyung again.

I’m sorry about him. But at least you get to sit next to Kook, right? ;)

Shut up

Jimin giggled and peeked over the seats to look at Taehyung who was glaring at him. Jungkook was hunched over in his seat, already playing a video game on his phone.

Jimin’s phone vibrated and he glanced down, smiling again.

Looking a little lonely there, Minnie. Wish you could sit with me instead!

Me too, Seokie! We’ll hang out lots on the trip, right?

Jimin glanced up to look for his friend before finding out Hoseok was already looking at him with his signature 1000 watt smile. He nodded slowly and Jimin nodded back.

Minhyuk looked back at Jimin to see him staring at someone else. He frowned and nudged his boyfriend. “Hey, babe, is that ass bothering you again?”

Jimin shook his head and sighed, tucking his phone away. “No, Hyuk, don’t worry about it. He’s just a friend.”

Minhyuk huffed. “Well, that’s not what he thinks. He stares at you a little too long sometimes. I don’t like him at all. Stay away from him.” Then he turned back to his friends.

Jimin glanced back at Hoseok, turning pink again at Minhyuk’s words. Does he really stare at me? Hoseok was already facing away from him and he couldn’t help the pang of disappointment he felt. He missed Hoseok’s smile already. He’s just a friend. I’m not staying away.

Jimin giggled again and then sighed loudly. He was bored. He couldn’t last an hour on this bus without anyone to talk to. Maybe if he fell asleep, it’d pass the time? Or maybe he could get Minhyuk to pay him attention?

Jimin leaned over and hooked his chin onto Minhyuk’s shoulder. “Baby?” He whispered.

Minhyuk shrugged him off. “Not now, babe, we’re talking.”

Jimin huffed and grabbed his earbuds, plugging them into his phone. He blasted his playlist in his ears and leaned against the window. He fell asleep quickly.

An hour later, the bus was almost to the airport. People were grabbing their things and preparing to get off. Minhyuk turned and smirked, placing his palm over Jimin’s crotch.

Jimin shot awake and pushed Minhyuk’s hand but he was too strong. “Stop it! Someone could see!” He hissed.

Minhyuk kept smirking and pressed harder. He leaned in close and whispered in Jimin’s ear. “But you like it when I do this, right? You wanted some attention earlier, didn’t you?”

Jimin blushed and nodded, still trying to push his hand off. “Maybe I wanted attention but not in front of the whole freshman class!”

Minhyuk pulled his hand away and faked a frown. “Aw, I’m sorry. Am I forgiven? I love you.” The magic words.

Jimin melted and a small smile formed. “Of course. I love you too.” He lifted his head and kissed his boyfriend quickly. He felt a few pairs of eyes on him but he didn’t care. Minhyuk loved him. He loved him too.

The bus slowed to a stop and everyone stood up. Jimin and Minhyuk kissed one more time before doing the same thing. “We’ll continue this conversation once we get to our room?” Minhyuk whispered in Jimin’s ear.

Jimin shivered and nodded. “Sounds good to me, Hyuk.”

Minhyuk grabbed his hand with the one that wasn’t holding his suitcase and Jimin grinned, eyes crinkling. He loved when he gave him so much attention in front of everyone. It meant he belonged to him and he wanted everyone to know he was dating the most popular guy in school. Minhyuk was the captain of the football team, as only a freshman, and everyone adored him. Even when he started dating Jimin, his status didn’t drop one bit.

Minhyuk rubbed his thumb slightly over his hand as he chatted with one of his buddies. Others were slowly starting to file out, one by one. Jimin leaned against the taller boy, suddenly feeling the effects of his nap. He was still tired. Well, there was plenty of time to sleep on the plane. They’d be flying for 4 hours.

When Jimin stepped off the bus, he spotted a group of people. He dropped Minhyuk’s hand and rushed over, ignoring his boyfriend’s sigh. Taehyung had a sleepy Jungkook leaning on him, Hoseok was laughing loudly at his friend Yoongi’s bedhead, and Namjoon and Jin were leaning against a bus in each others arms. Namjoon and Jin had been dating for four years, since freshman year of high school, and they were the couple that every other couple aspired to be.

Jimin bounced into the middle of the group and Hoseok pulled everyone into a big group hug, causing complaints to come up from Yoongi, even though he did it anyway.

Jimin grinned wide as they all stepped back. “Are we ready for the best week of our lives?”

After checking in at the airport, Jimin followed his friends up to the plane. Minhyuk grabbed his wrist before they got there and pulled him to the side. “What seat do have?” He asked, trying to grab Jimin’s ticket.

Jimin handed him his ticket when he started to look angry. “D2. You? You should have D1, right?”

Minhyuk frowned and glanced between the two tickets. “No. I have J4. That isn’t right. We need to find someone to switch with.” Minhyuk said, already dragging Jimin towards the plane again.

Jimin sighed and let the taller boy pull him along. There was no use fighting him. When they got on, the supervisor rushed them to their seats. “Hurry, we’re about to take off. Go sit.” She said.

Minhyuk shook his head, waving their tickets around. “No, we have to swi-”

The supervisor cut him off. “No, Mr. Kwon, you need to go sit down. Now.” Her voice was stern as she nudged them down the aisle.

Minhyuk grumbled and Jimin hugged him, smiling sadly. “Don’t worry, love! We’ll see each other again in a few hours! Make sure to text me okay?”

Minhyuk nodded and then his friends were calling him. He waved off Jimin and walked towards them, pumping his fist in the air.

Jimin pouted for a second but then he spotted his seat, D2. Hoseok was sitting in D1, grinning as bright as the sun. “Minnie!” He called as Jimin plopped down in the seat beside him.

“Hi, Seokie! Guess we’re sitting together today!” Jimin said, already clinging onto Hoseok’s arm and resting his head on his shoulder.

“Planning to sleep through the flight?” Hoseok joked, leaning his head against Jimin’s. He was slightly pink at the contact, even if Jimin was always this touchy with everyone. He wasn’t about to tell anyone that he managed to talk the supervisor into seating them together.

Jimin giggled softly and nodded. He glanced up at his new pillow. “Aren’t you going to sleep too? It’s a long flight.”

Hoseok shrugged and motioned to his phone. “I’ll probably just listen to music or scroll through Twitter or something.”

Jimin frowned for a second before sitting back up, grinning. “Why don’t we watch a movie? I can still sleep if I feel like it afterwards.”

Hoseok smiled and nodded enthusiastically. He was glad that Jimin was going to stay awake because they never got any alone time since he started dating Minhyuk. “Absolutely! You can pick!”

Jimin already knew what he wanted to watch. “Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda! It’s a newer movie that I’ve really wanted to watch but Minhyukie doesn’t like romantic movies very much.” A slight pout was on his face.

Hoseok melted at the look on Jimin’s face. He laid his hand on top of Jimin’s and used his free hand to start the movie. “Then that’s exactly what we’ll watch.” Who was he to say no to the cute boy he was in love with?

Jimin’s smile returned to his face and he curled up in his seat, leaning his head back onto Hoseok’s shoulder. Hoseok wrapped his arm around Jimin and set his eyes on the movie, even if he was barely paying attention.

After the credits started rolling, Hoseok glanced down at Jimin to see tears rolling down his face. Jimin had been crying silently since the kiss scene, sniffling softly. Hoseok lifted Jimin’s face, cupping it gently with both hands. He used his thumbs to wipe his cheeks. “Minnie? What’s wrong?”

Jimin shook his head, eyes shining with more tears. “I’m fine, I promise.”

Hoseok frowned. “You’re lying to me. But it’s okay, just talk to me when you’re ready. I won’t push anything.” He spoke softly, still holding Jimin’s face.

Jimin moved Hoseok’s hands and shoved his face into his chest, crying audibly now. He didn’t want anyone else to hear so Hoseok’s shirt had seemed the easiest place to muffle himself.

Hoseok hummed softly and rubbed Jimin’s back. His heart felt like it was ripping in two. Jimin was the purest soul and he didn’t deserve any pain.

Jimin sat up after a few minutes, hiccuping. Hoseok handed him some water and he took it gratefully. “Thanks. I’m sorry about that. It was just a really cute movie.” Jimin stared at the water bottle in his hands, frowning.

Hoseok tilted his head and reached for Jimin’s hand again. “Those didn’t look like happy tears. You can tell me anything.”

Jimin sighed and squeezed Hoseok’s hand. He kept staring at the bottle for a few minutes, thinking hard. Then he settled on something.

“Hoseok, I want what they have in that movie. They love each other. They went on a ferris wheel and it was so romantic. I love Minhyuk but we don’t do cute things like that. I just want him to take me out on dates or bring me flowers or something.” Jimin took a shaky breath. “I just want more than sex. I want romance.” His voice was quieter than normal. He’d never spoken about these things, even if he’d been thinking about it for months.

Hoseok’s eyes widened with every word. Jimin always seemed so happy with his boyfriend. He had no idea he felt this way. “I’m so sorry. Maybe talk to him? Maybe he’ll understand!” He didn’t know why he was helping Minhyuk but he loved Jimin enough to want his happiness before his own.

Jimin nodded and wiped his face with his sleeve. “You’re right. I should try that. Thank you, Seokie. You’re the best.” He smiled for the first time in at least an hour and Hoseok breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly a bunch of loud cheers went up from the back of the plane. Jimin and Hoseok both turned around, trying to see. All of the jocks were crowded around something and a few glanced back at them before laughing and turning back around.

Jimin felt something build in the pit of his stomach when the crowd parted slightly and he saw what they were all crowded around. It was Minhyuk and his phone. Minhyuk had his signature proud look on. He made eye contact with Jimin and his smirk fell for a split second before he was surrounded by his friends again.

Hoseok frowned, he didn’t see what Jimin did so confusion was written all over his face. He glanced at Jimin and saw how pale he was. “Woah, Jimin. Are you okay? What is it?”

Jimin shook his head and slumped down in his seat. “I don’t know.” Was all he could whisper. He really didn’t know why he felt so anxious. “I feel like I’m gonna throw up.”

Hoseok rubbed his back again, worried. “Do you need to go to the bathroom?”

Jimin shook his head slowly. “No. I just wanna stay right here.” He said, leaning into Hoseok’s arms. The taller boy gladly hugged him, glancing back at the crowd every few seconds.

Suddenly, a couple of them left the group and walked down the aisle until they reached Jimin. Hoseok instinctively glared at them but it didn’t do anything.

“Hey, Minnie!” One of the jocks said mockingly. “I bet your boyfriend doesn’t like you being all cozy with another guy.”

Jimin ignored them, curling closer to Hoseok who snapped at them. “Hey, watch it. He can hug any of his friends. It isn’t a problem at all.”
The other jock scoffed and held out his phone. “Yeah, sure. Why don’t you see how he looks on his knees. Or maybe you’ve already seen, since he loves being a slut.”

Jimin winced at the harsh words and sat up, snatching the phone from his hand. He swiped through all the pictures, horrified. One of them was of Jimin on his knees, only wearing boxers. He was looking up at the camera with teary eyes and a smile. The next one was of Jimin on his hands and knees, his bare ass presented to the person taking the photo. As Jimin scrolled, the photos got worse and worse. He knew Minhyuk liked taking photos but he didn’t think he’d ever share them.

Hoseok didn’t want to see but he couldn’t tear his eyes from the phone as Jimin scrolled. He felt a million emotions at once. He was turned on from seeing Jimin like that, but he was livid that Minhyuk shared them. What kind of person does that?

Jimin, on the other hand, felt nothing. No emotion. He tossed the phone back at the boys who were laughing. “Get the fuck out of here.” He said, glaring at them.

The laughs stopped but they were still smirking as they strolled back to the rear of the plane.

Hoseok stared at Jimin for a second to see his reaction to all of this but there was nothing. Jimin just sat there. Hoseok was starting to get scared so he tried to hug him again but Jimin pushed him off. He felt disgusted and he couldn’t handle being touched by someone.

Hoseok sat back in his chair, a pang going through his chest. He tried to shove it down because Jimin was just hurting. He didn’t mean it when he pushed him.

At this point, the whole plane was laughing quietly and the sounds were slowly building. Jimin lifted his legs and hugged them to his chest. He tried to ignore everything around him but it was too much. They were all laughing at him. They’d seen him at his most vulnerable. Minhyuk had shared their private moments with the whole freshman class, possibly the whole school.

A hand was laid on his shoulder and he flinched away but it stayed there. “Oh, sweetheart, come here. It’s okay.” Taehyung’s voice broke through the laughter and Jimin latched onto his best friend. His safe place. His person.

Taehyung held Jimin close and Jungkook joined their hug, ignoring every single person on the plane. Jimin rocked back and forth, already feeling more calm. The three of them had been best friends for their entire lives and would always be there for each other. No matter what.

Hoseok watched the trio from his seat, feeling slightly useless. He quickly shook it off because he knew how they were. They were the golden three, the three musketeers, attached at the hip. He understood that Jimin needed them, and not him.

Footsteps approached the pile of people hugging on the floor. Jungkook looked up and shot daggers at the person. Jimin followed Jungkook’s gaze and whimpered slightly. “M-minhyuk?”

Minhyuk tilted his head at him. “Jimin? What is it? Are you crying? Come here, baby.” He opened his arms, a soft smile on his face.

Jimin stared at his hands then looked at his face again. The smile made him forget everything for a moment and he stood up, falling into Minhyuk’s open arms. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Hoseok frowned at the encounter but they weren’t at liberty to stop Jimin. It was his boyfriend, his choice.

Jimin squirmed, feeling gross again. The hug didn’t comfort him like it was supposed to. He stepped away from Minhyuk who frowned. “We need to talk, Minhyuk.”

Chapter Text

“We need to talk, Minhyuk.”

Minhyuk nodded and grabbed Jimin’s wrist, taking him into the bathroom of the plane. A few people cheered for them as the door shut but Minhyuk just slammed the door. “Okay, what do we need to talk about?”

Jimin stared at him, feeling anger bubble up in his stomach. “What do you mean ‘what do we need to talk about?’ You fucking shared private pictures of me with your friends. They called me a slut! You humiliated me in front of everyone we know! How could you?” His voice rose as he spoke. He was sure everyone in the back of the plane could hear him.

Minhyuk just stood there, letting Jimin yell. When he stopped, Minhyuk tilted his head. “Are you done screaming now?”

Jimin huffed angrily but nodded.

Minhyuk leaned back against the door. “Okay, I didn’t share them. They found the pictures on my phone when they stole it. I couldn’t get it back. I’m sorry that they saw. I really am, baby.” He placed a hand on Jimin’s face gently and Jimin’s eyes slipped closed on instinct.

“B-but why were you laughing? I saw you, I heard you.” Jimin wasn’t yelling anymore, his voice was small.

“If I didn’t act like that, they would have tore me apart, teased me forever. I had to act like I was proud everyone could see what we did.” Minhyuk said, speaking sweetly.

A tear slipped down Jimin’s face and he shook his head, letting his boyfriend’s hand fall. “I don’t know if I believe you, Hyuk. It just didn’t seem like an act.”

“But you know me, Jiminie. You know I’d never intentionally hurt you.” Minhyuk tried to place his hand on Jimin’s face again but it fell after a few seconds. He sighed loudly when Jimin wouldn’t answer anymore. “Jimin, come on. I’m not evil. Why would I do that?” He asked, louder than before.

Jimin winced slightly at his angry tone and hugged himself. He couldn’t stay in this tight place with him anymore. “I can’t do this. I need time. And space. Please, Hyuk. I am humiliated. I feel disgusting.”

Minhyuk clenched his fist and stormed out of the bathroom. Jimin sighed and a split second later, Taehyung and Jungkook were on him, petting him and holding him close. “We’ve got you, Minnie.” They whispered.

After a few moments, Jimin slipped out of the hug. “I need to go sit down. We should be landing soon so you should too.” Without glancing back, he hurried to his seat. He ignored every single pair of eyes on him and kept his eyes down until he was seated and hugging onto Hoseok’s arm again.

When Jimin clung to him so suddenly, Hoseok jumped slightly but quickly settled back down. “Are you okay?”

Jimin nodded and took a deep breath. “I need to room with you at the hotel. Ask your roommate to switch with me. I can’t stay with Minhyuk. Not now.”

Hoseok’s jaw dropped a little and he nodded, pulling out his phone. “Of course, I’ll tell Jackson right now. You’re my roommate, not him. He won’t mind at all.” After texting Jackson, Hoseok chewed on his bottom lip. “Jimin? Did you break up with Minhyuk?”

Jimin hesitated but shook his head. “No, I don’t think so. I told him I needed time and space but we’re still together. I still love him.”

Hoseok closed his eyes and gulped. “Ah. Okay. Are you okay?”

“I don’t know. I really don’t.”

“It’s okay. I’m here for you.”

“Thank you, Seokie. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

As soon as the plane landed, Minhyuk stormed off of the plane with his friends following suit. Jimin waited until he and Hoseok were the last ones left. Hoseok let him, he figured Jimin needed a minute alone. “Do you want me to go too, Minnie?”

Jimin immediately looked panicked. “No! I don’t wanna be alone! Please don’t leave me!”

Hoseok pulled Jimin into his chest and shushed him gently. “Okay, I won’t go. I’ll never leave you. I promise.”

Jimin nodded and took a deep breath. The supervisor came over and frowned at them. “Mr. Park, Mr. Jung, you need to leave the plane. Now.”

Hoseok opened his mouth to ask for a minute but Jimin stood up, wiping his face again. “Of course. We’ll go now.” He grabbed his bags and started towards the door of the plane before Hoseok could close his mouth again. When the supervisor glared at him, he grabbed his belongings too and followed behind Jimin.

Jimin froze at the bottom of the stairs. Minhyuk was watching him from across the road. As soon as Hoseok was beside him, he took his hand and pulled him to where their friends were standing. None of them even glanced at their hands since Jimin was always holding hands with someone but Hoseok was bright red and grinning wide.

Taehyung and Jungkook were glaring at Minhyuk who was still watching Jimin. His eyes were glued to his hand which was still in Hoseok’s. Jimin could feel Minhyuk fuming even from this distance. He liked it a little too much. It meant he was jealous which meant he still cared.

One more pair of eyes were on the linked hands. Yoongi had been watching how close the two were since they got on the plane. He kept his face blank as everyone started chatting. He was the quietest one so it wasn’t strange.

Suddenly Jin was laughing loudly and Jimin was falling into Hoseok. Yoongi tore his eyes away from them and looked for what made them laugh. Jungkook and Taehyung were both blushing and standing further away from each other than before. “What happened?” Yoongi asked.

Namjoon rolled his eyes, smirking. Taehyung tried to cover his mouth but Namjoon held his wrists still. “Tae and Kook were standing like their sides were literally glued together. Jin pointed it out and they parted so quick, I thought time sped up.” His words caused everyone to giggle again Jungkook pulled his hood over his face, groaning.

“I need to go to the bathroom.” Taehyung mumbled, running in the opposite direction.

Yoongi sighed. “Okay, I’m tired of this. Jungkook, tell the poor guy how you feel so you two can be together and stop annoying the rest of us.”

Jungkook choked on his spit and shook his head repeatedly. “I don’t know what you mean.”

All five of the others spoke in unison. “Yes you do.”

At that moment, Minhyuk stormed up behind them and placed a hand on Jimin’s shoulder. “Can we talk?” He said through gritted teeth.

Jimin shook his head and moved even closer to Hoseok. Everyone else moved closer to Jimin as well, glaring at Minhyuk. “Whatever you have to say, you can say in front of them.” Jimin said quietly.

Minhyuk took his hand back and clenched his fists. “Fine. You fucking switched rooms? You’re gonna be staying in the same room as him? Sharing a bed with him?” He yelled, pointing at Hoseok.

Jimin shrugged. “Yeah, I am. I want to stay with my friend this time, Hyuk.”

Minhyuk started to yell again but glanced around at Jimin’s friends who looked like they were ready to beat him up. He sighed and walked back to his friends, mumbling to himself.

Everyone relaxed as soon as he was gone. Jimin leaned against Hoseok and Yoongi who had wrapped his arm around him halfway through the encounter. “Thanks, guys. I just don’t wanna be around him right now.”

Taehyung found his way back and made a bee line for Jimin. “Woah, you okay Minnie? What the hell happened?”

“Minhyuk.” Jungkook murmured, still keeping his distance from Taehyung.

“God, I know you love him but you need to dump him. He’s not good for you.” Taehyung said softly, running his hands through Jimin’s hair.

“I’m fine, Tae. Everything is fine! We’re just taking some space.” Jimin smiled, leaning into Taehyung’s touch. “Can we just go to the hotel now please?”

Taehyung frowned but nodded. “Of course we can!” He took Jimin’s hand and led him away from Hoseok and Yoongi who didn’t look too happy about it.

Everyone grabbed their bags and slowly made the walk to the hotel. It was nearby but far enough to allow the group to sight see. Jimin quickly forgot about Minhyuk and laughed along with everyone taking silly pictures in front of random objects. Namjoon and Jin sat down on each side of a statue and made a heart towards the camera Taehyung was holding. Jimin hopped onto Yoongi’s back and held up a peace sign. Taehyung took the picture before Yoongi could knock Jimin off. Jungkook quietly took pictures of Taehyung from the back of the group and Hoseok decided not to bring it up even if he wanted to.

When they finally reached the hotel, all of the other freshman had already found their rooms. Namjoon and Jin walked into their room first and the others all cheered for the couple jokingly. Taehyung and Jungkook were also sharing a room but no one made a sound when they walked in. Jimin managed to wink at Taehyung before the door slammed shut though.

The remaining three paused in front of Jimin and Hoseok’s door. Yoongi looked like he wanted to say something but he didn’t. He just waved and stalked down the hall to his own room. Before he reached it, he called back to Jimin. “Hey, Jimin-ah, I have the room to myself so if you wanna come stay with me at any point, you can.” Then he slipped into the room before Jimin could respond.

Hoseok held the door open for Jimin, bowing slightly. “Your room, your highness.”

Jimin snorted and pulled his suitcase into the room, pulling off his sweatshirt. He dropped it onto the floor and then fell onto the bed. “You aren’t a butler, Seokie.”

Hoseok let the door fall shut and laughed, plopping down beside Jimin. “You’re no fun.”

Jimin sat up with a hand on his heart. “How rude! I’ll have you know that I am a ton of fun!”

Hoseok rolled onto his side, smirking. “I don’t believe you.”

Jimin raised an eyebrow and moved to sit on his knees. “Oh really? Guess I’ll just have to prove it then.”

Hoseok’s smirk fell slightly and he took a shaky breath. “Then prove it.”

Jimin leaned forward onto his hands. “Aren’t you curious as to how I plan to prove it?”

Hoseok, unable to speak at this point, just nodded.

Jimin moved closer and closer until he was hovering over the taller boy. Then he started tickling his sides.

Hoseok screeched, trying to grab Jimin’s hands but it was no use. Jimin was stronger than he looked.

“Tell me I’m fun and I’ll stop!” Jimin teased, moving so he was sitting on Hoseok’s thighs.

Tears started running down Hoseok’s face as he squirmed and kicked, trying anything to get away from the tortuous hands. He realized he was losing, he couldn’t take this anymore. “O-okay fine! You win! You’re fun, now stop!”

Jimin sat back and crossed his arms, pleased with himself. “Thank you very much.”

Hoseok reached up grabbed Jimin by the wrists, flipping them so Hoseok was on top. “Let’s see how you like it, Minnie.” He whispered, leaning down close to Jimin’s face.

Jimin paled and shook his head. “N-no, I’m sorry! Seokie please!”

Just as Hoseok was reaching for Jimin’s sides, there was a knock on the door. They made eye contact and blushed a little, realizing their situation. Hoseok was straddling Jimin’s hips and their clothes and hair were completely disheveled. They were both still sweaty from the tickling as they scrambled to the door, fixing their clothes.

Jimin was rubbing his hair down as Hoseok opened the door and they both froze. Minhyuk’s eyes narrowed as he took their appearance in.

“Jimin? What’s going on?”

Chapter Text

“Jimin? What’s going on?”

Jimin knew what this looked like so he shoved Hoseok back into the room, despite his protests. Then he shut the door behind him and turned to Minhyuk. “It’s not what you think, I promise. And anyway, you don’t have a right to be upset. Not after what you did!” He could feel his previous anger coming to the surface again, bubbling under his skin.

Minhyuk ran his hands through his hair, looking genuinely distressed. “You’re right. I’m sorry, Minnie. Baby, it really wasn’t supposed to happen like that, on the plane. None of it. I am sorry, from the bottom of my heart. I love you.” There it was. The magic words again.

Jimin slumped against the door, a tear escaping his eye. Minhyuk stepped forward and took his face in his hands. He peppered small kisses all over Jimin’s face. “I’m sorry, my love.” He whispered.

Jimin took a shaky breath and looked into Minhyuk’s eyes. He searched and searched for any sign of a lie but there was nothing. Only truth. He loved him. He was sorry. “I love you too, Hyuk.” He mumbled, clutching Minhyuk’s shirt in his hands.

A ghost of a smile crossed Minhyuk’s face before he pressed his lips to Jimin’s, taking his time. Jimin immediately wrapped his arms around the taller boy’s shoulders and returned the kiss.

This kiss escalated and Minhyuk moved his mouth to Jimin’s neck, kissing and nipping at the sensitive skin.

Jimin gasped softly and let his head fall back to hit the door. “We shouldn’t be doing this in the hallway. We could get caught.”

Minhyuk groaned and leaned back, smirking. “Right. Wanna move back to my room? My roommate left.”

“Please.” Jimin nodded breathlessly, already dragging Minhyuk in that direction.

Minhyuk slapped Jimin’s ass and picked him up bridal style, swinging him around. Jimin yelped and laughed, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend’s neck.

Minhyuk set Jimin down by his door and opened it, yanking him inside quickly. As soon as the door slammed shut, Minhyuk had Jimin pinned against the wall, kissing him hard.

Jimin moaned softly into his mouth and gasped when Minhyuk lifted him up. He wrapped his legs around his hips and whimpered at the friction between them.

Jimin wound his fingers into Minhyuk’s dark brown hair and sighed happily. Then Minhyuk set him down again and took off his own shirt before removing Jimin’s as well. He crashed their lips together again as his hands moved to his jeans. Jimin had just removed his own pants as well when Minhyuk grabbed his hair roughly and pushed him down on his knees.

A pained gasp tore out of Jimin’s throat at being manhandled and he sat obediently on his knees. Minhyuk lifted his face with his thumb and hummed. “So pretty like this. On your knees for me.” He dropped his boxers and pulled Jimin’s face closer by his hair.

Jimin made eye contact with him as he slowly licked up his length. Minhyuk growled and pulled his hair. “Stop teasing, baby.”

Jimin smirked but listened. He took Minhyuk completely in his mouth and bobbed his head up and down. Minhyuk let out a guttural moan and threw his head back.

Pleasuring others caused Jimin just as much pleasure so every sound Minhyuk made sent blood rushing south. Minhyuk grabbed Jimin tighter to keep him still and started fucking into his mouth roughly.

Tears built up in Jimin’s eyes but he just dropped his jaw more and took what he was given. He slipped one hand into his own boxers and moaned around his boyfriend.

When Minhyuk got close, he stepped back and pulled Jimin to his feet. He stumbled for a second and leaned against Minhyuk to catch his bearings. Minhyuk brushed Jimin’s pink hair out of his face and gave him a quick peck before yanking his boxers off and tossing him on the bed.

Jimin fell back onto the bed, feeling his neck whip harshly but he ignored it because Minhyuk was on top of him and kissing him. His hands were everywhere and Jimin was overwhelmed for a split second.

But then he was off again and Jimin could breathe. He stared at the ceiling and listened to what Minhyuk was doing. He heard a bottle being popped open and assumed it was lube.

His assumption was proved correct when a cold, wet finger prodded at his entrance. He had calmed down some and he needed Minhyuk inside him so he lifted his legs up to his chest to allow better access.

Minhyuk pushed his finger inside and started pumping it in and out quickly. He sucked a hickey onto Jimin’s thigh to distract from the intrusion.

Jimin winced but quickly relaxed before wincing again as a second finger was added. Minhyuk always prepped him really fast but Jimin didn’t mind the burn at all.
After a few moments, Jimin was a whimpering mess and Minhyuk added the third finger, moving them faster. As soon as he hit Jimin in the right spot, Jimin yelped and clenched his fists into the bedsheets.

Just seconds later, Minhyuk pulled his fingers out and ripped open a condom with his teeth. He smacked Jimin’s ass which was his signal to get on his hands and knees. Jimin rolled over quickly and wiggled his hips. “Please, Hyuk, I need you.”

Minhyuk spanked him harshly and rolled the condom on himself before applying some lube. “Not Hyuk right now.”

Jimin whimpered slightly and nodded. “I-I’m sorry. Sir. I need you, sir. Please.” He rambled.

Minhyuk hummed appreciatively as he grabbed Jimin’s ass for a second. Then he settled in front of him and snapped his hips forward, pushing in quickly. Jimin bit his fist to keep from screaming and Minhyuk rubbed his lower back gently, leaning down to soothe him.

Minhyuk waited a few seconds before he started at a fast, rough pace. He moaned into Jimin’s ear who was whimpering beneath him. Jimin knew the pain would pass, it always did. And it was worth it when it did.

“Oh my god, fuck, baby, you feel so fucking good.” Minhyuk groaned, still moving his hips at insane speeds. Their moans grew louder and louder, filling the room.

Jimin was already close but he knew he needed to hold it in until he was allowed to cum. “P-please, sir. Oh my god, please. Let me cum, I’m so close.” He kept babbling, completely blissed out.

“Hold on for me. Be a good little whore for me.” Minhyuk cooed in his ear, snapping into Jimin at a different angle. This angle was the right one and he knew because Jimin screamed, muffling himself with a pillow. He was drooling and his arms gave out, causing his face to fall into the bed.

Minhyuk wrapped his arms around Jimin and lifted him up so they were both upright, on their knees, with Jimin’s back pressed against his chest. He moved one hand to Jimin’s throat and squeezed.

Jimin gasped and his eyes rolled back in his head as he came, his orgasm hitting him like a ton of bricks. He enjoyed it for a moment before he realized he came without permission. He was going to be punished.

Minhyuk dropped Jimin back onto the bed and continued to fuck into him, chasing his own release. Jimin writhed underneath him from the oversensitivity but he took it. He could take it.

After a few more moments, Minhyuk let out a loud groan and came into the condom before falling forward onto Jimin. The only thing that could be heard in the room was their heavy breathing as they recovered.

Minhyuk sat up and slipped out of Jimin, going to the bathroom to toss the condom in a trash can. Jimin curled up on the bed, feeling cold from the loss of body heat.

When Minhyuk came back with a towel, he wiped everything up and then flopped onto the bed, pulling Jimin close to him. Jimin laid his head on Minhyuk’s chest and sighed happily. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Minhyuk whispered, kissing the top of his head.

Jimin knew he had to move and he pouted. “I need to shower.”

Minhyuk kissed him and then nudged him off the bed. “Go, shower. So I can watch you walk away.” He smirked, leaning back against the headboard.

Jimin blushed and tossed a pillow at his boyfriend before standing up slowly, wincing at the soreness he already felt. He made his way to the bathroom and cleaned up quickly before walking back with only a towel around his waist. He used a second towel to dry his hair.

When he looked around the room, he realized Minhyuk wasn’t there anymore. He pouted slightly and spotted a note on the nightstand.

I’m sorry but the guys dragged me out for dinner.
Meet me in room 304 in an hour for a party.
I love you so much!

Jimin sighed and clutched the note to his chest. He needed Taehyung’s help to get dressed if he was going to a party so he quickly pulled on his t-shirt and a pair of jeans before running out the door.

He knocked on Taehyung’s door repeatedly until he answered. He opened the door, glaring, until he realized it was Jimin. “Oh! Chim! Hey, why is your hair wet?” His eyes narrowed slightly.

Jimin blushed a little and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. “Ah. I showered. After visiting Minhyuk.” His voice got quieter and quieter with each word.

Taehyung groaned and put both of his hands in his hair. “Jimin, what the fuck? You went back to him?”

Jimin sighed and grabbed Taehyung’s hand, dragging him to him and Hoseok’s room. “Not now. We have an hour to get ready for a party. I need your help.”

Taehyung smirked. “You had me at party.”

Chapter Text

“So, how do I look?” Jimin asked, walking out of the bathroom.

Taehyung’s jaw dropped as he looked his best friend up and down. “Oh my god, you’re hot!”

Jimin rubbed his newly dyed blonde hair nervously. “Really?” He was wearing ripped, black jeans and a low cut, black shirt made of silk. He even put on clear lip gloss and eyeliner. He adjusted the silk choker around his neck and shuffled his feet.

Taehyung stood up and placed his hands on Jimin’s shoulders. “Chim, you are smoking. Every single person at that party is going to be all over you.”

Jimin blushed a little and nodded. “Okay. So Minhyuk will like it?”

Taehyung groaned and flopped onto the bed. “Please, for the love of god, dump him! He’s not good for you!”

Jimin sat down on the bed and hugged his knees to his chest. “I don’t know, Tae. We’ve been together so long and I love him!”

Taehyung frowned and sat up. “Jimin, I love you but I’m not gonna stand by and watch you do this to yourself. I’ve gotta go get dressed, the party starts in 10 minutes.” He stood up and walked back to this room, slamming the door behind him.

Jimin slumped down and tried not to tear up. Taehyung was his best friend and his support meant the world to him. What was he gonna do without him?

His phone beeped before he could spiral too far. When he checked it, he saw a text from Minhyuk and a smile spread across his face.

From: My Love<3
To: Me

Hey baby, you coming?

From: Me
To: My Love<3

On my way ;)

Jimin shoved his phone in his pocket and hurried out the door. He took the elevator up to the third floor and passed a few doors. He paused and took a deep breath before pushing it open and walking in.

Immediately, everyone looked his way. Several girls and guys raked their eyes up and down his body. He stood in the doorway awkwardly for a moment, scanning the room for his friends.

He finally spotted Minhyuk sitting on the couch, eyeing him closely. Jimin took a deep breath and walked over, sitting on his boyfriend’s lap.

Minhyuk stayed still for a moment before placing his hand on Jimin’s thigh. He leaned in close to Jimin’s ear. “Baby, I could just devour you right here.” He whispered.

Jimin blushed more and wrapped an arm around Minhyuk’s neck. “Behave yourself for now, please.” He whispered back.

“I’ll try but you aren’t making it easy on me.” Minhyuk said, nibbling on Jimin’s ear.

Jimin giggled and tried to push Minhyuk away from him but his grip got tighter on his thigh. “Hyuk, please. We’re in front of people.” Jimin hissed, finally managing to push him away a bit. He slipped off his lap and sat beside him on the couch instead.

Minhyuk sighed and turned a little, starting up a conversation with his friends. Jimin pouted and stood up. “I’m gonna get a drink.” He mumbled.

He walked over to the desk in the corner after Minhyuk waved him off and poured some of the drink in a cup. He sniffed it and winced. “Oh my god, what is this?”

Someone nearby snorted. “It’s a bit of everything.”

Jimin glanced back at a laughing Minhyuk and downed the cup in one go. He gagged and coughed for a few seconds before pouring another one and downing it as well.

The same guy that had spoken before eyed him worriedly. “Are you sure that’s a good idea? There’s at least 2 shots in each cup.”

Jimin shrugged and filled his cup up for the third time before walking back and sitting on Minhyuk’s lap again. The alcohol was hitting him hard already and warmth was spreading through his body.

Minhyuk looked at Jimin and smirked, rubbing his thigh. Jimin hummed appreciatively and leaned against him, sipping on his drink. It wasn’t as strong as before.

Minhyuk hooked his thumb under Jimin’s chin and pulled him in for a hungry kiss. Jimin returned it with just as much desperation. The alcohol had lowered his inhibitions so he moved around until he was straddling Minhyuk.

Minhyuk tilted his head, breaking the kiss, and started kissing down Jimin’s neck. He grabbed the choker with his teeth and growled. Jimin threw his head back and gasped.

“You’re so sexy, baby.” Minhyuk mumbled into his neck. It took Jimin hearing a few giggles and some cameras going off before he came to his senses. He looked around and remembered they were in the middle of a party, shoving himself off of Minhyuk’s lap.

“Baby, come back. We were just getting started.” Minhyuk said, grabbing Jimin’s wrist and pulling him back onto his lap roughly.

“Hyuk, stop. There are people!” Jimin whispered, trying to stand up again. He got dizzy and fell forward, almost spilling his drink. Minhyuk caught him and put both of his hands on his waist, crashing his lips against Jimin’s again.

Jimin grunted and pulled back, trying to stand again. “Minhyuk, I said stop! Please!”

“Baby, why are you leaving? I can make you feel good.” Minhyuk whispered in his ear, holding his hips so hard that Jimin was sure it’d leave bruises.

Jimin put his free hand on Minhyuk’s chest and pushed him as hard as he could. Minhyuk frowned as Jimin jumped off his lap. “Come back here!” He yelled.

Jimin stared for a second, anger building up inside him. “No! I won’t! I don’t want to make out in front of everyone! That’s too far!” He swayed as he spoke, and suddenly wanted to finish his drink.

Minhyuk scowled and stood up, towering over Jimin. “Stop it right now. Let’s just go back to my room.” He growled, grabbing his wrist.

Jimin shook his head and yanked his wrist free. “No!”

Minhyuk turned slowly and took a step closer. “What did you just tell me?”

Jimin reached up and slapped Minhyuk hard across the face. “I said no! I’m not taking this anymore! I’m leaving!” He downed the rest of his drink and tossed the cup at Minhyuk before storming out of the room. He ignored everyone’s shocked stares and hurried to his and Hoseok’s room.

He didn’t notice Hoseok was standing there as he slammed the door and fell back against it. “Jimin?” He called anxiously, moving his hands behind his back to hide what he was holding.

Jimin looked up and brushed his hair out of his face, stumbling forward and trying not to fall over. “Hoseokie!” He called out, grinning and opening his arms for a hug.

Hoseok eyed him warily before using one arm to hug Jimin, keeping his back out of his sight. “Minnie, are you drunk?”

Jimin shrugged and sat on the bed, leaning back on his hands. He looked up at Hoseok drunkily and smirked. “Maybe a little. What’s behind your back?” He slurred.

Hoseok got distracted for a moment, actually taking in Jimin’s appearance. “It’s nothing. God, Jimin, you look amazing.” He said in awe, eyes glazing over slightly.

Jimin blushed bright red and shook his head. “N-no, I don’t. Just tell me what’s behind your back pleeease.” He pleaded.

Hoseok shook his head to clear his thoughts and took a deep breath. He pulled his hand around and revealed what he was hiding, a shy smile on his face.

Jimin gasped when he saw the bouquet of roses in his hand. “Oh my god. Whoever those are for must be lucky.” He whispered.

Hoseok shifted nervously and held the roses further out. “They’re for you, Minnie. I remembered what you said about wanting flowers from someone.” He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.

Jimin’s eyes teared up and he reached up slowly, taking the flowers. He brought them to his face and sniffed. “They’re beautiful. Thank you so much. B-but why did you do this?” He said, smiling softly.

Hoseok tilted his head and sat down beside Jimin. He lifted his hand and wiped Jimin’s tears, looking into his eyes. “I wanted to do something special for you. You deserve it.”

Jimin took a shaky breath and swayed forward. “You’re amazing, Seokie. The absolute best.” His voice lowered and his heart started racing.

Hoseok’s eyes widened and his gaze dropped to Jimin’s lips. He quickly brought it back up to his eyes, suddenly unable to breathe. “I like it when you call me that. Seokie.” He said, voice lowered as well.

Jimin traced the lines of Hoseok’s face and set the flowers down on the bed. “Well I like calling you that, Seokie.” He scooted forward on the bed. “Can you hold me?”

Hoseok gulped and nodded. “Of course, Minnie. Come here.” He whispered, moving to sit against the headboard and patting the spot beside him.

Jimin crawled up the bed, keeping eye contact with Hoseok. He fell into his chest, putting his arms around his waist. “Thank you.”

Hoseok wrapped his arms around Jimin and tried to still his heart but it wasn’t going well. He felt like it was going to beat out of his chest.

Jimin giggled a little. “I can hear your heartbeat. Why is it beating so fast?” He lifted his head to make eye contact with the other boy and froze at what he saw there. Hoseok’s eyes were shining with lust.

Jimin might have been under the influence of alcohol but he had never felt more sober. The look in Hoseok’s eyes made his knees weak. “S-seokie?” He said, voice barely audible.

Hoseok couldn’t even blink. He’d never been this close to Jimin’s face. If he moved in inch forward, they’d be kissing. And kissing Jimin was all Hoseok had thought about for years. “Yes?”

Jimin took a deep breath and stared at Hoseok’s lips. Since when did they look that soft? “Kiss me.”

Hoseok surged forward the second the words left Jimin’s mouth and crashed their lips together. Sparks flew in front of Jimin’s eyes and he pressed against him harder. Their lips moved in sync, desperate and needy.

Hoseok pulled Jimin onto his lap and wrapped his arms around his waist. Jimin gasped into his mouth and then pulled back, breathing heavily.

Hoseok panicked for a second, eyes wide. “Oh my god, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. Are you okay?”

Jimin giggled and nodded. “Seokie, I’m fine. I asked you to kiss me, I just needed to breathe.”

Hoseok nodded and brushed Jimin’s hair out of his face. “Are you sure it’s okay becau-”

Jimin cut him off with a quick kiss. Hoseok blushed and wiped his thumb over his cheek. “You’re beautiful, Jimin. The most beautiful boy in the world.”

This time, Jimin blushed. He leaned in and kissed Hoseok again. This kiss was slower and more gentle. It was filled with emotion and it left Jimin more breathless than the first one.

After a few moments, Jimin felt something hard against his leg. In his mind, he was suddenly back with Minhyuk. He was going to hurt him, use him, and then leave. Jimin panicked and jumped off Hoseok’s lap, hyperventilating.

Hoseok leaned forward and touched Jimin’s shoulder which caused him to scream and fall onto the floor. He curled up into the fetal position and started shaking and crying. “Don’t hurt me, please.” He whimpered.

Hoseok crawled onto the floor and sat beside Jimin, scared to touch him again. “Minnie, please. I would never hurt you. I promise, baby, please. You’ve got to breathe.” He pleaded.

Jimin shook his head, hearing Minhyuk’s voice instead of Hoseok’s. “Hyuk, all you do is hurt me! Please, don’t do it anymore!” He screamed.

Hoseok frowned. “Minnie, it’s me, Hoseok. It’s Seokie. I won’t hurt you.”

Somehow, Hoseok’s voice found its way to Jimin’s ears. His breathing slowed some and he sat up, blinking slowly. “Seokie?”

Hoseok sighed in relief and reached for Jimin who crawled into his lap, sobbing. “It’s me. I’m here. I’ve got you, you’re safe with me.” He whispered, rocking Jimin gently.

Jimin whimpered again and clung to Hoseok’s shirt. “Safe? I’m safe?” He said, coming to his senses.

Hoseok teared up and nodded, petting Jimin’s hair. “Safe. Seokie’s got you.” He couldn’t stand seeing Jimin so broken.

Jimin took a deep breath and sat back to look at Hoseok. “I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have ruined our moment. Let’s just continue, okay? It won’t happen again, I promise.” Jimin kissed Hoseok again, wrapping his arms around his neck.

Hoseok took Jimin’s arms and pushed him away slightly, breaking their kiss. “Jimin, stop. You aren’t thinking straight.”

Jimin pouted and slouched down. “You don’t want me?” He murmured sadly.

Hoseok shook his head quickly. “No! I mean, yes! Of course I do! I’ve wanted you forever!”

Jimin grinned again and lurched forward, trying to kiss him again but Hoseok grabbed his face gently. “Jimin, please. Listen to me.”

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. “B-but you said you wanted me. This isn’t what you wanted?”

Hoseok’s jaw dropped slightly. “What? Yes, I want you but I also want to hold you, give you flowers, and take care of you. This isn’t just about sex for me.”

Jimin tilted his head. “It’s not?”

Hoseok shook his head and stood up, pulling Jimin with him. “Why don’t we just sleep this off, okay? You’ll feel better in the morning.”

Jimin blinked slowly and nodded. “Okay. I’m sorry, Seokie.”

“Stop apologizing. It’s okay.” Hoseok kissed Jimin’s forehead and laid down on the bed, leaving space for Jimin under the covers with him.

Jimin nodded and climbed in with him, curling up against his chest. “Goodnight Seokie. Thank you for everything.”

Hoseok pulled him closer and smiled fondly. “Goodnight, Minnie.”

Jimin passed out immediately, exhausted, but Hoseok stayed up a bit longer to watch over Jimin. He knew they shouldn’t sleep in their clothes but Jimin was too far gone to change now.

Hoseok closed his eyes and whispered one thing before falling asleep.

“I love you.”

Jimin opened his eyes slowly and groaned. “Oh god.” He mumbled, clutching his head and rolling onto his stomach.

Hoseok walked out of the bathroom in only a towel, holding water and pain medicine. “Morning, beautiful.” He said, grinning brightly.

Jimin raked his eyes up and down Hoseok’s body appreciatively, taking the water and medicine. “Beautiful? Why’re you calling me beautiful?” He asked, tilting his head.

Hoseok pursed his lips. “Uh, because you’re beautiful?” He leaned forward and gave Jimin a quick kiss.

Jimin jumped back, surprised. “Woah, Hoseok, what’re you doing?”

Hoseok’s eyes widened. “Oh god, you don’t remember?” He whispered.

Jimin’s eyes mirrored Hoseok’s, wide with shock. “Remember what? Did we sleep together?” He asked, grabbing his hair in a panic.

Hoseok shook his head quickly and sat down on the bed. “No, Minnie. You wanted to but we just kissed. I made you go to sleep before it went too far.”

Jimin’s jaw dropped. “Oh my god. All I remember is going to a party and sitting with Minhyuk. After that, I’m lost. What the fuck did I do?”

Hoseok sat there for a second, silent. He didn’t know what to do. The best night of his life happened and the other half of it didn’t even remember.

Jimin stood up and started pacing. “Can I be alone for a second, please? I need to think.”

Hoseok winced, feeling a pang in his heart. “Of course.” He murmured before running into the bathroom with a change of clothes.

Jimin took a shaky breath and started crying. “Oh god. How could I do this? How could I cheat on Minhyuk? I-” Suddenly his phone went off, interrupting his downward spiral.

He picked it up and saw a million texts from Taehyung. The most recent said he was coming over.

Jimin sighed and walked over to open the door to their room. Taehyung was already standing there, fist raised to knock. He jumped when the door open. “Jesus christ Chim, you scared me!” He yelled. Then he took a closer look at Jimin. “Oh my god, have you been crying? Is it because of what happened last night?” He asked, walking in and hugging Jimin.

Jimin wrapped his arms around Taehyung tightly, shaking. “What happened last night? I don’t remember and Hoseok's acting weird.”

Taehyung pulled Jimin over to the bed, eyeing him warily. “Sit down. It’s gonna be a lot if you don’t remember.”

Jimin listened but groaned loudly. “Oh god. It can’t be worse than I think it is.”

Taehyung winced. “Oh, trust me. It is. Okay so-”

“Wait!” Jimin cut him off, staring at the floor. Taehyung followed his line of sight and saw the bouquet of roses.

“Whose are those?” He asked, pointing.

Jimin bent down and picked them up, staring hard. “I don’t know.” He brought them to his face and sniffed. Suddenly, all the memories from the night before came rushing back and he stumbled back onto the bed. “Oh god, I remember what happened!” He yelled.

A crash sounded from inside the bathroom and Hoseok came rushing out. “You remember? Oh that’s great, baby, I was so worr-” He cut himself off when he saw Taehyung sitting beside Jimin with wide eyes.

“Hoseok? Why the hell did you just call Jimin baby? What am I missing?” Taehyung said, standing up with his arms crossed.

Hoseok shuffled back and forth on his feet. “Oh. Well, when Jimin came back, we may have, um, kissed.” He mumbled.

Taehyung smiled slowly and jumped into the air. “You kissed? Oh my god, finally! I’ve been waiting for you to get over Minhyuk and get with Hoseokie for years!”

Jimin froze. “Wait what? You’ve waited for this?” Then he stood up. “Oh no, Minhyuk! I’ve gotta go!” He ran out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Hoseok stared after Jimin and Taehyung sighed, literally facepalming. “Not again.” He whispered.

Jimin knocked on Minhyuk’s door for a few minutes before he realized no one was there. He wrapped his jacket tighter around him and found his way to the room the party was in. It was unlocked so he let himself in and looked around. A dozen people were laying around, asleep, and some were only wearing half of their clothes. None of them were Minhyuk so he sighed and started walking back to his room.

Hoseok inserted himself into Jimin’s thoughts and Jimin bit his lip. “Oh god. What have I done?” He took a few deep breaths and started talking to himself, trying to rationalize everything. “Okay, how do I feel about Minhyuk? I love him. How do I feel about Hoseok? I don’t know. Great, that really cleared things up.” He sighed and walked into his room.

“Minnie, hey. Can we talk?” Hoseok asked, sitting criss cross on the bed. He was chewing on his fingernails nervously.

Jimin sat beside Hoseok slowly and hugged his knees to his chest. “Where’s Tae?”

“He left. Said that you and me needed to talk.” Hoseok reached for Jimin’s hand and Jimin let him take it. The support felt nice.

“Yeah. We should. I don't know what it meant. I don’t know how I feel. What about you?” Jimin asked.

Hoseok stared into Jimin’s eyes. “I know exactly how I feel. I’ve been in love with you since I set eyes on you, years ago. Last night was the best night of my life.”

Jimin’s eyes were watery as he tightened his grip on his knees. “Oh. Seokie, I don’t know what to say.” He whispered.

Hoseok nodded and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Jimin’s forehead. “It’s okay. Take your time to figure things out. I’ll be here whenever you do.”

Jimin smiled a little. “Thanks, Seokie. You’re the best.”

Hoseok opened his mouth to speak again but there was a knock on the door. Hoseok sighed and walked over, opening it. Taehyung burst in and started jumping up and down excitedly. “Come on guys! Get ready, we’re all going to lunch!”

Jimin frowned. “I don’t know if I feel lik-”

“No! Everyone is going, you have to come too! Shower quickly!” Taehyung demanded, shoving Jimin into the bathroom. “I’ll pick out your clothes!” He yelled through the door.

Jimin sighed and knew he had no choice once Taehyung put his mind to something. He jumped in the shower quickly and then got out, wrapping a towel around himself. He dried his hair with a hair dryer and walked back into the room. “Where’s Seokie?” He asked Taehyung.

Taehyung shrugged. “I don’t know, he left right after I trapped you in the bathroom. Anyway! Here’s your clothes! I’m gonna go make sure Kookie’s ready to go so hurry!” He hugged Jimin quickly and then ran back to his room.

Jimin shook his head, confused, but did what Taehyung asked. He pulled on a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a black sweatshirt before Taehyung came running back in with Jungkook behind him. “Ready, Chim? Everyone’s waiting downstairs!”

Jimin made a face. “Already? Jeez, that was quick.” He grabbed his wallet and phone before Taehyung grabbed his wrist and pulled him out the door.

When they got downstairs, Jimin spotted Hoseok and froze. Taehyung saw and slipped his hand into Jimin’s. Jungkook grabbed Jimin’s other hand and squeezed it reassuringly. Taehyung had filled him in on the situation before they got to the room.

Hoseok made eye contact with Jimin and then ducked his head, blushing slightly. Yoongi stared closely between the two, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He nudged Jin and pointed. “What is that?” He mouthed.

Jin shrugged and pulled Namjoon’s arm tighter around himself. “Everyone ready to go eat? We’re walking to a pizza place down the street.”

Everyone nodded and started walking. Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook walked in the front with Namjoon and Jin walking behind them, hand in hand. Hoseok and Yoongi trailed behind which made Hoseok look at him strangely. “Hoseok, what’s going on? You’re always up in front with the rest of them.”

Hoseok sighed and walked faster. “I’m fine, Yoongi. Don’t worry.”

Yoongi threw his hands up and rolled his eyes. He hated when people lied to him and it was obvious Hoseok was lying. He decided to ignore it for now.

Instead, he sped up and pressed himself between Jungkook and Jimin. “Hey, Jimin, can we talk for a second?”

Jimin tilted his head and glanced at Taehyung before nodding. “Of course.”

Yoongi smiled a little and took Jimin’s hand, pulling to the back of the group so no one could hear them.

Jimin kept his hand in Yoongi’s as they walked. “What did you wanna talk about, Yoongi?”

Yoongi puffed out both his cheeks. “Um, I just wanted to know if you were okay. You know, after last night?”

Hoseok glanced back saw them holding hands. He frowned and fell back just enough to listen in on the conversation.

Jimin sighed. “I don’t know. A lot happened. And now I can’t find Minhyuk.”

Yoongi furrowed his brows. “Wait, you’re trying to find him? To break up with him, right?”

Jimin bit his bottom lip. “Uh, I guess so, I don’t know.”

Yoongi pulled them to a stop and turned to face Jimin. “Okay, you deserve so much better than Minhyuk. I know you love him and you probably don’t wanna hear this but you need to. He is abusive and manipulative and all he does is hurt you. You need someone who will cherish you and listen and laugh at your stupid jokes. Someone who will give you kisses on the cheek when you pass by each other in the hall and give you the attention you deserve.” Yoongi had leaned in a little bit as he spoke and Jimin’s eyes widened. Yoongi never spoke this much at once and his words were freaking Jimin out.

Suddenly, Hoseok turned around and slung his arm around Jimin’s shoulder. “Hey guys, you’re falling behind! The others are already so far ahead!” He said with a huge smile. It seemed way too obviously fake. Yoongi scoffed, pulling his hand away from Jimin’s and shoving both in his pocket. He picked up his pace, practically running, and caught up with Namjoon and Jin.

Jimin looked up at Hoseok who had his hand on the back of his neck. “What was that?” Jimin asked as he shrugged Hoseok’s arm off his shoulder.

“I was just coming back here to hurry you guys up. That’s all, Minnie!” He grinned and again, it was way too fake.

Jimin scoffed and started walking. “Don’t lie to me, Hoseok.”

Hoseok hurried to walk beside him. “Okay, fine. Yoongi was just too close to you and it made me jealous. I’m sorry, Minnie.”

Jimin crossed his arms. “Yoongi is just a friend. And right now, so are you. Minhyuk already controls me so I don’t need you doing it too.” He took a turn and ran into the restaurant before Hoseok could speak.

Hoseok groaned and followed him in. “Shit.”

Jimin sat on the other side of the table from Hoseok for the entire meal. He didn’t even speak to him. Everyone could see Hoseok sulking in his seat but no one said a word about it.

As they paid and started filing out of the restaurant, Taehyung took Jimin’s arm. “We’re walking a different way.” He said, pulling Jimin away from the group.

Jimin sighed and nodded, taking a different turn than everyone else. “Why?”

Taehyung rolled his eyes. “For obvious reasons, Chim. We’re gonna talk about everything. So, let’s start with Minhyuk. How are we feeling?”

Jimin chewed on the inside of his cheek for a moment. “You’re right. I need to break up with him. I should’ve done it months ago.”

Taehyung practically cheered. “Oh my god you’ve finally realized! I am so proud of you, really. Now, on to more pressing issues. Hoseok.” He wiggled his eyebrows at Jimin suggestively.

Jimin scowled. “Let’s not talk about that right now.”

Taehyung pulled his arm away from Jimin’s. “Wait, what? I thought you guys kissed and everything was going great. That’s why you were so weird in there, right? So no one would notice you guys liked each other?”

Tears filled Jimin’s eyes. “I thought it was going great. But then Yoongi was talking to me and apparently he got too close and Hoseok got jealous. He inserted himself into our conversation just like Minhyuk does. I don’t like that.”

The smile fell from Taehyung’s face. “Well, shit. Wait, Yoongi got too close? What was he saying?”

Jimin shrugged. “I don’t know, he asked how I was doing and told me I deserved better than Minhyuk. He was just really sweet like all of you guys have been.”

Taehyung shook his head and put his hands up. “Woah, Yoongi made a move? I never thought he would because of Hoseok.”

Jimin made a face. “Tae, what the hell are you talking about? A move?”

Taehyung nodded and explained. “Yeah, you know Hoseok and Yoongi used to date, right? Well, they broke up because of you. They both fell in love with you and realized they couldn’t work if they both liked someone else.”

Jimin’s jaw dropped. “Wait, I was the person they fought over?”

Taehyung sighed. “You’re the person they still fight over. I just never thought Yoongi would make a move because he’s not as outgoing as Hoseok.”

Jimin sat on the side of the road and put his head in his hands. “This is too much. I don’t even know how I feel about Hoseok and now I’ve got to think about Yoongi too?”

Taehyung plopped down beside him and wrapped his arms around him. “It’s okay. Maybe it would be a good idea for you to be single for a while so you can think about everything. Don’t let your next relationship be a rebound, Minnie.”

Jimin nodded a few times and then let out a big puff of air. “You know what, you’re right.I need to focus on myself. And my friends. No boyfriends.”

Taehyung grinned and Jimin grinned back at him. “Now, you need to find Minhyuk so you can officially be a single man!”

Jimin giggled and stood up, pulling Taehyung with him. “”Let's go!”

After a couple hours, Jimin had knocked on almost every single door in the hotel without finding Minhyuk.

He approached the last door on the hallway and knocked. “Hello? I’m sorry to bother you but is anyone named Minhyuk in there?” He called.

The door opened and Jimin stared, wide eyed. “Hana?”

Hana grinned and pounced on her brother, hugging him tightly. “Hey little bro!”

Jimin hugged her back but he was still surprised. “What are you doing here? This trip is for freshman, not sophomores!”

Hana shrugged and rubbed the back of her neck. “I’m out here visiting someone. I just happened to be staying in this hotel.”

Jimin narrowed his eyes. “Visiting someone? Who do you know here?”

Hana shrugged again. “Just a friend that moved here last year. You don’t know her.”

Jimin leaned against the doorframe. “What’s her name?”

“Her name is Suan. Why?” She answered quickly.

Jimin sighed. “Okay, I believe you. I was just curious. When are you going back?”

Hana reached into her room and pulled out her suitcase. “I was actually just leaving now. Wanna walk me to the elevator?”

Jimin nodded and held out his arm like a gentleman.

Hana giggled and hooked her arm in his. “It was good to see you, even if it was only for a few minutes.”

Jimin hummed in agreement. “Yeah. I have a shit ton of stuff to tell you when I get back so be ready!”

Hana frowned. “Good stuff? Or bad stuff?”

Jimin thought for a moment and stopped walking since they were at the elevator. “Good, I think.”

Hana sighed in relief and hugged Jimin one more time before the elevator opened. “Bye, Min. See you when you get home.”

Jimin waved until the doors shut and then slipped into his room. He heard the shower running and packed his suitcase. Once the shower turned off, Jimin darted out of the room with his stuff.

He knocked on Yoongi’s door softly. A groan sounded from the other side and it opened after a few seconds. “Wh- Oh! Jiminie, hey.” Yoongi said, his face going from angry to blank in half a second.

Jimin shuffled nervously. “You said I could stay with you if I needed to?”

Yoongi’s eyes widened and he nodded, opening the door more. “Of course! Come in, please.”

Jimin smiled a little and walked in, standing in the middle of the room awkwardly. “Thanks, Yoonie. I’m sorry for crashing your room.”

Yoongi raised an eyebrow. “Don’t worry about it. And Yoonie? Really, that’s my nickname now?”

Jimin giggled and poked Yoongi’s chest. “What, you don’t like it?”

Yoongi watched Jimin’s eyes disappear when he smiled and he melted a little. “Of course not. I like it, Jiminie.”

Jimin’s smile widened and he bounced on his feet, opening his mouth to speak before someone started knocking on the door. Yoongi’s soft smile faded and he stomped over to the door, yanking it open. “What?”

Taehyung poked his head out from around Yoongi’s and shoved his way into the room. “Chim! Hey, I was looking for you and Hoseok said you took all your stuff. Why’re you staying with Yoongi and not Kookie and me?” He pouted.

Yoongi sighed angrily and let the door fall shut. “Yes, come in, Taehyung.” He muttered sarcastically.

Taehyung ignored him and Jimin flashed him a smile. “Well, I figured you and Kook might want some alone time. And Yoongi already offered me his room.”

Taehyung turned bright red. “Why would Kook and I need alone time? You know what, don’t answer that. Anyway! On to my news! Apparently no one has heard from Minhyuk since the party. After you slapped him, he stormed out and hasn’t been seen since.”

Jimin frowned and sat down on the bed. “What? He’s completely missing?”

Taehyung sighed and crouched down in front of Jimin. “Don’t worry. I’m sure he’s just avoiding everyone because you humiliated him. He deserved a lot worse honestly.”

Yoongi grunted in agreement. Everyone knew how much he hated Minhyuk. They’d physically fought before, after Jimin came to school with a huge hand-shaped bruise on his wrist.

Taehyung’s phone made a noise and he grabbed it. “Shit, I’ve gotta go. Kook is saying Hos-” He glanced at Jimin and shoved his phone in his pocket. “Uh, nothing. I’ve just gotta go. Love you, Chim.” He kissed Jimin’s forehead and ran out the door.

Jimin’s breathing sped up and he clutched his chest. “Tight. Yoonie, my chest hurts. Something is wrong.” He whimpered, curling up on the bed. “Oh god Minhyuk is missing. He’s always around people, he wouldn’t avoid anyone.”

Yoongi climbed onto the bed and pulled Jimin into his lap. Jimin’s breath caught in his throat, surprised. Yoongi rubbed his back and Jimin slowly lowered his hands to Yoongi’s shoulders. “Wha-” Jimin started.

Yoongi shushed him, putting one finger over his mouth. Jimin crossed his eyes to look at Yoongi’s finger and pouted. He didn’t like being shushed.

After a few seconds, Yoongi returned both of his hands to Jimin’s back but Jimin continued to pout. “Can I speak now?” He mumbled.

Yoongi smiled a little and nodded. “Of course you can, Jiminie.”

Jimin rolled his eyes and huffed. “Why am I on your lap?”

Yoongi shrugged. “Well, you stopped hyperventilating didn’t you?”

Jimin’s jaw dropped a little. “Oh. I mean, I guess so.”

Yoongi nodded, proud of himself. “That’s why, then.”

Jimin’s head tilted to the side. “You couldn’t think of a better way to calm me down?”

A smirk crept up on Yoongi’s face. “I didn’t think you would mind very much. You’re still on my lap, aren't you?”

Jimin pouted again and climbed off, crawling under the covers instead. “I’m going to bed.”

Yoongi sighed and got into bed too. “Goodnight, Jiminie.”

“Night, Yoonie.”

Chapter Text

Jimin had been staying in Yoongi’s room for the past few days and it was finally the day they were heading back home. Everyone was a little sad, including Jimin, but he also just wanted to get ahold of Minhyuk. Someone told him that Minhyuk had a family emergency and flew home early. Jimin had tried to call him almost 20 times but Minhyuk sent him to voicemail every single time.

“Maybe this is his way of breaking up.” Jimin said, laying on his back on the floor of Taehyung and Jungkook’s room.

Jungkook was sitting criss cross on the bed while Taehyung was sitting up on the floor, leaning back against the bed. Taehyung spoke first. “It’s possible. After what happened, maybe he thinks you guys are done.”

Jungkook nodded. “I agree. You slapped him, that seems like a way of breaking up.”

Jimin groaned and rolled onto his side. “But-”

Jungkook cut him off. “No. We’ve been talking about this for days. We’ve gotta finish packing so we can fly home.”

Taehyung sighed in relief. “Thank god, I didn’t have the heart to say anything. Kook’s right. No more Minhyuk talk. His name is now forbidden in conversation.”

Jimin pouted. “But what if it’s an emergency?”

Taehyung looked up and made eye contact with Jungkook. They had a silent conversation and then nodded. “Fine.” They said simultaneously.

Jimin sat up quickly. “Well that wasn’t creepy at all.” He mumbled. “Okay, I’m gonna go back to Yoongi’s room and make sure I didn’t leave anything behind.”

Taehyung watched Jimin walk to the door. “Make sure he double checks behind you.” He called, knowing how forgetful Jimin could be.

Jimin saluted him as he shut the door. “Yes, sir!”

Taehyung rolled his eyes and glanced up to see Jungkook rolling his eyes at the same time. He smiled softly to himself and got up to finish packing.

Jimin knocked on Yoongi’s door even though it was technically his room too. Yoongi opened the door, making a confused face as he did every time. “Still knocking, Jiminie?”

Jimin shrugged and pushed his way past Yoongi. He made a loop around the room to make sure he had everything in his suitcase. “Okay, all ready to go?” He turned to Yoongi.

“I am. You aren’t, though.” Yoongi said, holding up a pair of Jimin’s jeans. “Forgot these.”

Jimin huffed, pushing out his cheeks. “How the hell did I forget an entire pair of jeans?”

“I don’t know. I really don’t.” Yoongi muttered, tossing them over. Jimin caught them and stuffed them into his already full suitcase.

“Let’s go, everyone’s walking downstairs.” Yoongi said, peering out into the hallway.

Jimin nodded and put his bookbag on, pulling his suitcase behind him. The pair walked past the elevator since everyone was using it, taking the stairs instead.

Jin and Namjoon were already outside, holding hands and talking. Namjoon had a cup of coffee in his hand. Jimin grinned and wandered up to them, almost tackling them down in a hug. Jin grunted at Jimin’s weight and Namjoon chuckled. “Hey Jimin. Hi Yoongi.

“Hey guys.” Yoongi said quietly, walking up behind Jimin.

Suddenly, Taehyung and Jungkook came running outside. Jungkook was chasing Taehyung apparently because Taehyung was screaming and giggling. “Chim! Save me!” He barreled straight into Jimin who fell forward into Namjoon. The cup of coffee he had been holding spilled all over Jimin’s sweatshirt.

“Oh, Chim, I’m so sorry!” Taehyung said as Namjoon started apologizing profusely at the same time. Hoseok came outside at that moment and frowned, staying behind Jungkook since Jimin had been avoiding him.

“It’s fine, Tae. Does anyone have napkins?” Jimin asked, holding his sweatshirt away from his body as much as he could.

Yoongi pulled off his own sweatshirt and handed it to Jimin. He was wearing a t-shirt underneath. “Here, put this on.”

Jimin smiled slightly and took off his own, putting Yoongi’s on instead. “Thanks, Yoonie! You’re the best.”

Yoongi gave a soft smile in return and stepped back again, staring at his shoes.

Everyone looked back and forth between Jimin and Yoongi. “Did you just call him Yoonie?” Taehyung asked, eyes narrowed.

Jimin shrugged and nodded. “Yeah, why?”

Jin scoffed. “The first and last time I gave Yoongi a nickname, he punched my arm so hard that it left a bruise.”

Yoongi stayed silent, still looking down the hide the blush on his face.

Hoseok walked in the direction of the airport before everyone else, mumbling to himself. Jimin watched him go and ignored Jin’s words.

Jungkook pouted. “Can I call you Yoonie? Please?” He pleaded.

Yoongi’s head shot up and he glared daggers at Jungkook. “No.”

“How come Jimin gets special treatment? It’s not fair.” Taehyung whined.

Namjoon tossed his now empty cup into a trash can and pulled Jin forward since all their classmates were walking now. “Because he’s Jimin.” He whispered to Taehyung as he passed.

They all made it to the airport on time, even though they stopped a million times to take more pictures. It was kind of awkward without Hoseok because he was one of the mood makers in their group. They weren’t complete without all seven friends.

Jimin took his seat on the plane beside Yoongi, having switched tickets with the person Yoongi was supposed to sit with. He still needed time away from Hoseok to figure out how he felt. Taehyung and Jungkook were seated behind them and Jin and Namjoon were sitting at the front, near Hoseok.

“Why do you let me call you Yoonie?” Jimin asked after the plane had been in the air for a while. They were in the middle of a movie with Jimin leaning on Yoongi’s shoulder.

“I don’t know, I don’t mind nicknames from you. When other people do it, it makes me mad.” Yoongi said simply.

Jimin stared at the screen, not really paying attention to the movie anymore. Now that he knew Taehyung thought Yoongi liked him, he felt strange. “Can I ask you something else?” He spoke again a few moments later.

He felt Yoongi nod. “Tae told me that you and Hoseok broke up because of me. Is that true?”

Yoongi stiffened slightly. “Yes. But it wasn’t your fault, don’t worry.” He whispered.

Jimin nodded against his shoulder and pouted as he tried to focus on the movie. It was true. Did that mean that everything Taehyung said was true? Did Yoongi really like him?

When the movie ended, Jimin sat up and stretched. He glanced beside him to see Yoongi was asleep. Quietly, Jimin closed the laptop and put it away before pouting again. He was bored.

Jimin stood up and walked further to the back. He passed by Jungkook and Taehyung who were also asleep. Taehyung was curled up in his chair and his head had fallen over onto Jungkook’s chest. Jimin took a picture of the two, smiling to himself, before continuing.

He knocked on the bathroom door and entered when he saw it was empty. Before he could close the door, someone shoved their hand in. Jimin frowned and opened the door more, thinking someone had to use the bathroom really bad. It was Hoseok.

“Can we please talk, Minnie?” He asked. Jimin took a second to really look at him. Hoseok looked exhausted. His usual bright eyes were dull and empty. He had bags under his eyes and his hair was messed up.

Jimin took pity on him and stepped to the side, letting Hoseok into the bathroom. It was a tiny room, not meant for two people, so they were practically pressed up against each other.

Both of them blushed and refused to make eye contact. “So.” Jimin said, feeling extremely awkward with their silence.

“Okay, so.” Hoseok sighed, trying to catch Jimin’s eyes. He still wouldn’t look at him. “I wanted to apologize again. I was completely in the wrong. I had no right to be jealous and I won’t ever come between you and anyone again.” Then he started biting his lip. “But Yoongi does you like you.”

Jimin blinked slowly. “I know he does and it’s okay. Thank you for apologizing.” He finally made eye contact with Hoseok and felt some of his anger melt away. Hoseok had hope in his eyes, the brightness was there again, if only a little.

“I like you, Minnie. No, I love you. I have for so long and I want to be with you.” Hoseok whispered.

Jimin closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again and falling forward, resting his forehead on Hoseok’s shoulder. “I missed you. I don’t like when we don’t talk.” Was all he said.

Hoseok wrapped his arms around the shorter boy slowly. “I missed you too. How are you feeling?”

Jimin shrugged. “I don’t know. I was talking with Tae about it but I still don’t know.”

“That’s okay. I’m here if you wanna talk about it.” Hoseok mumbled.

Jimin pulled his head back to look at Hoseok. How could he figure out how he felt about Hoseok. “I wanna try something.” He said after a few minutes of staring.

Hoseok smiled fondly. “Of course. Anything.”

Jimin closed his eyes and leaned forward, pressing his lips against Hoseok’s. He wanted to know if the fire from the other night was still there.

It was. Jimin’s entire body heated up as he wrapped his arms around Hoseok’s neck. Hoseok stepped forward, pushing Jimin against the wall. Their lips moved slowly until Hoseok bit Jimin’s bottom lip. Jimin gasped and licked Hoseok’s lips. Their tongues met and Jimin tilted his head to the side. The kiss heated up more and Jimin had to pull away to catch his breath. “Seokie, I-”

A knock broke them out of their own little world and Hoseok jumped back. All of Jimin’s thoughts came rushing back to him and he scrambled for the door. “Hoseok, I can’t. I’m sorry, I can’t.” He whispered before running out of the bathroom, ignoring everyone staring at him.

He fell into his seat and bit his lip hard so he wouldn’t cry. He liked Hoseok so much but he needed to take time for himself. It was selfish of him to kiss Hoseok like that. “Jimin?” Yoongi said, waking up from the sudden movement.

Jimin shook his head and put on a smile. “Yes, Yoonie?”

Yoongi narrowed his eyes. Even half asleep, he could tell something was wrong. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, I promise. Let’s put on another movie before you fall asleep again.” Jimin pulled out his laptop again and started listing movies before Yoongi could speak again.

Chapter Text

As soon as Jimin walked in the front door, he was tackled by his siblings. He grunted and caught the first body flying his way but the second one knocked him down onto the porch. “Ow! You guys are crushing me!”

The two younger children giggled and scrambled off of him. Hana walked over and helped Jimin to his feet, laughing loudly. “How was the trip, Min?”

Jimin grinned brightly and hugged all three of his siblings. “It was fun, to say the least. A lot happened and I got to hang out with all of my friends! Actually, Hana, can I talk to you in my room real quick?” He asked nervously.

Hana narrowed her eyes but nodded. “Of course. Beomseok, Aecha, will you guys go help mom with dinner please?”

They nodded and ran off to the kitchen. Jimin watched them fondly before shaking his head and pulling Hana upstairs.

He closed the door to his room and fell face first onto his bed. “Han, I have so much to tell you.” He fell into the long story and told her every single thing that happened. She cheered for Jimin when he told her that he finally realized how bad Minhyuk was for him. He even told her that he kissed Hoseok on the plane, which was something he hadn’t even told Taehyung yet.

Once he finished, Hana was sitting with her head in her hands. “Oh my god. You weren’t kidding when you said you had a lot to tell me.”

Jimin nodded and sighed. “Tell me what to do. You know me better than I know myself.”

Hana looked up at him and smiled sadly. “Maybe so. But I can’t tell you. From the way you’ve talked about them, you like two people. You need to figure out how you feel about them. I can’t tell you how to feel, Min.”

Jimin whined and flopped backwards on his bed. “But why not?”

Hana huffed and tilted her head, thinking for a second. “Okay so Hoseok made you feel things you never felt with Minhyuk but you really hated the way he got so jealous and controlling. Then there’s Yoongi. You keep running to him. You stayed in his room instead of Taehyung and Jungkook’s room. You sat with him on the plane and ran back to him when you kissed Hoseok. Do you feel safe with him?”

Jimin answered immediately. “Yes.”

Hana grinned. “I think you know who you want to be with once you’ve taken some time for yourself. I’m gonna set the table for dinner. Come down soon.” She kissed his forehead and left the room.

Jimin pulled his legs up to his chest, frowning. Hana was always right when it came to Jimin. Is she right this time? He thought.

The next day, a Friday, Minhyuk didn’t show up to his classes. Then again, neither did half of the freshman since they just got back from the trip the night before.

“Don’t worry, Chim. Seriously, put that asshole out of your mind.” Taehyung said as they threw their trash away after lunch.

After their last class, Taehyung started waving his phone in Jimin’s face. “Party tonight at one of the frat houses! We’re going!” He cheered.

Jimin rolled his eyes. “I don’t know. The last time I went to a party, it ended with me slapping my boyfriend and then cheating on him.”

Taehyung shook his head furiously. “No! You did not cheat! I think he took it as a break-up and you should do the same. He’s your ex now and he deserved that slap anyway.”

Jimin ran his hands through his hair. “I guess you’re right.”

Taehyung linked his arm with Jimin’s arm and pulled him along. “I’m always right. Now, for outfits.” He said, grinning mischievously.

A few hours later, Jimin and Taehyung were standing in front of a mirror in Taehyung’s room. Taehyung was wearing a black silk shirt with a black sparkly jacket. His makeup was perfect as always. Jimin was wearing a white silk shirt with sparkles up and down the front of it. He only had a little bit of makeup on.

“You look like an actual angel, Chim.” Taehyung whispered, proud of himself.

Jimin scoffed. “Yeah and you’re the demon on my shoulder.”

Taehyung giggled and nodded. “That’s right! Now, let’s go. Jungkook should be waiting downstairs to pick us up by now.”

They hurried outside and spotted Jungkook’s car immediately. Jimin sat in the back so Taehyung could sit beside Jungkook.

The two started flirting real quick for two people who aren’t dating, which Jimin just rolled his eyes at and tried his best to ignore.

Then Jimin leaned forward, cutting off Jungkook who was complimenting Taehyung for the millionth time in five minutes. “Guys, is Hoseok gonna be there?”

They made quick eye contact and then Taehyung turned around to face Jimin. “I think so, but maybe you should try to talk to him. Figure out what’s going on.”

Jimin shook his head. “I know what’s going on. I need some time to myself and then I’m going to talk to Yoongi. I talked with Hana yesterday about everything and she helped me realize some things.”

Jungkook’s eyes widened and he tried to turn around too but Taehyung smacked the back of his head. “Eyes on the road, Kook.”

Jungkook grumbled and faced the road again. “Fine, but Yoongi? Did something happen between you two?”

“No, not really. But I think he likes me.” Jimin said, messing with his fingers. “And he makes me feel safe. I like how I feel with him. I think it could turn into something if we tried.”

Taehyung sat back in his seat. “I didn’t see this coming. Yoongi is so different from you. And from Hoseok.”

Jimin shrugged and stayed silent until they got to the party. They found a place to park after wandering for a while and made their way to the front door.

“Tae, are you sure this is a good idea?” Jimin asked nervously, crossing his arms.

Taehyung nodded and knocked on the door. “Parties are always fun!”

As soon as the door opened, Taehyung pulled Jungkook and Jimin straight back to the kitchen. “Drinks come first!”

Jungkook rolled his eyes but downed the drink Taehyung handed him. Jimin was more hesitantly but he still drank it.

After another drink for each of them, they followed the crowd until they found the dance floor. Jimin stumbled into the doorframe and groaned. “Woah, how much alcohol did you pour in our drinks?”

Taehyung shrugged. “A good bit. That’s all you need to know, Chim.”

Jungkook was apparently feeling the effects of his drinks as well because he wrapped his arms around Taehyung’s waist and swayed to the music. Taehyung happily leaned back against Jungkook’s chest and danced with him, forgetting Jimin.

Jimin just rolled his eyes and walked further onto the dance floor. He loved to dance more than anything so this was his element. Unfortunately, it was someone else’s element as well. He spotted Hoseok a few feet away from him, dancing like his life depended on it.

When he glanced up and they made eye contact, they both froze. Jimin gulped and started to walk forwards but then he saw Yoongi walking up to him out of the corner of his eye. Sighing in relief, he grinned at Yoongi’s soft smile. “Wanna dance?” Yoongi asked, obviously anxious.

Jimin immediately grabbed both of his hands. “Duh!” He yelled.

Yoongi had maybe had one too many drinks because his dancing was sloppy and he kept swaying towards Jimin but he really didn’t mind. He wrapped his arms around Yoongi’s neck and Yoongi placed his hands on Jimin’s hips. “You look beautiful, Jiminie.” Yoongi whispered in his ear.

Jimin shivered and blushed. “Thanks, Yoonie. You look amazing as well.”

They could both feel Hoseok’s glare on them as they kept dancing through song after song but it didn’t bother them as much as it should.

Suddenly, the feeling of being watched was gone. Jimin glanced around the room but he couldn’t spot Hoseok anywhere.

A sexy song came on and, feeling more daring, Jimin turned around in Yoongi’s arms and started grinding his ass back against him. Yoongi’s grip on his hips tightened and he could’ve sworn he heard an audible gasp from behind him.

Then Yoongi started moving his hips forward and they found a rhythm that matched the song. After only a few minutes, they were both breathing heavy. Yoongi pulled Jimin against him a little harder and Jimin felt something poke his ass. This time, Jimin gasped and he turned around to see a bright red Yoongi with desire bright in his eyes.

Something like fire pooled in Jimin’s stomach and he pressed their chests together. “Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me, Yoongi?” Jimin asked, smirking.

Yoongi groaned at the cheesy line but he just pulled their bodies closer until he could feel that Jimin was starting to get hard too. “I could ask you the same question, Jiminie.” He mumbled, leaning in to kiss Jimin’s neck.

Jimin’s back arched a little and he gripped Yoongi’s shirt tightly in his fists. “Take me upstairs.”

Yoongi pulled back to look into Jimin’s eyes. “Are you sure bec-”

He was cut off by Jimin’s lips crashing against his own. It was a quick kiss but they were both left completely breathless and weak in the knees. “I’ve never been more sure. Take me upstairs, please!” Jimin pleaded.

Yoongi gaped at him for a moment before nodding and intertwining their fingers. He pulled Jimin along as he searched for an empty room upstairs. Jimin was giggling and bouncing along behind him.

Once he finally found an empty one and shut the door, he pushed Jimin against the wall and pinned his hands above him. Jimin gasped again and tried to lean forward but Yoongi’s grip was tight. “Please, let me kiss you!” Jimin whined.

And who was Yoongi to deny the most beautiful boy in the world anything? That didn’t stop him from teasing though. He moved in slowly, pressing every inch of his body against Jimin’s before he connected their lips. It started slow and sweet. Yoongi had wanted to kiss him for years and he was going to treasure it.

Soon enough, Jimin licked into Yoongi’s mouth and the temperature in the room rose significantly. Yoongi released Jimin’s hands so Jimin could unbutton his shirt for him. He pushed it off Yoongi’s shoulders and then Yoongi broke their kiss to pull off Jimin’s shirt. Jimin reached for him again but Yoongi stopped him. “Let me look at how stunning you are.” He whispered, eyes raking up and down Jimin’s body.

Jimin blushed and whimpered at the praise but he kept his arms to the side. Yoongi made eye contact and surged forward, kissing him desperately. At that moment, Jimin was oxygen. He was water and Yoongi was a dying man.

Jimin thrust his hips forward causing both of them to moan loudly. “Yoonie, can I suck you off please?” Jimin muttered, unbuttoning Yoongi’s jeans.

Yoongi almost came in his pants like a horny highschool boy at the mere thought. He nodded vigorously. “Yes, Jiminie, anything you want.”

Jimin licked his lips and sank down onto his knees, pulling Yoongi’s pants with him. He started mouthing over Yoongi’s cock through his boxers and they both let out strangled moans. Yoongi thought he was honestly die when Jimin pushed his boxers down and took him in his mouth fully.

“Oh my god, do you not have a gag reflex?” Yoongi asked when Jimin went all the way down without flinching.

Jimin hummed an affirmative around him and Yoongi’s cock twitched. “Please, do that again.” Yoongi whispered.

Jimin hummed again and Yoongi tossed his head back, letting out a low growl. Jimin bobbed his head up and down, continuing to make noises which just pushed Yoongi further to the edge. “I-I’m c-close. Stop.” Yoongi slurred, pulling Jimin to his feet. Jimin had a long string of saliva hanging from his mouth and Yoongi couldn’t resist kissing him again.

Jimin slowly pushed Yoongi back towards the bed until they fell, Jimin crawling onto Yoongi’s lap. They didn’t break the kiss once as Yoongi shoved Jimin’s pants and boxers off. Jimin started grinding their cocks together, chasing any sort of release. “Oh god, Yoonie, you feel so good.” Jimin choked out. “I wanna ride you so bad, please.”

Yoongi growled again and intertwined his fingers with Jimin’s again. “We need lube. Find some.”

Jimin scrambled off of Yoongi and dug around in the nightstand. “It’s a frat house, there should be- aha!” He pulled out a bottle and hurried back to Yoongi’s lap. He poured some on his fingers and started to reach around when Yoongi grabbed his wrist. “Stop. Let me do it.”

“O-okay.” Jimin blushed and handed the bottle to Yoongi before getting comfortable straddling Yoongi.

Yoongi sat up and kissed Jimin as he poured lube on his fingers and reached around. He slapped Jimin’s ass before pushing in one finger. Jimin gasped and moaned loudly into Yoongi’s mouth at all the stimulation. He wrapped his arms around Yoongi’s neck and pushed his ass back onto Yoongi’s finger. “P-please, more.”

Yoongi hushed him with another kiss as he pumped his finger in and out. Once he felt Jimin was ready, he added a second finger, causing Jimin to keel over in his arms, a moaning mess.

Yoongi placed one hand on Jimin’s side to keep him still as he opened him up slowly. He added a bit more lube and pushed in a third finger after a few minutes. “Oh god, your fingers! Fuck!” Jimin called out, wrapping his fingers in Yoongi’s hair.

Yoongi hissed when Jimin’s grip tightened and he sped up his pace. It didn’t take long before Jimin was a squirming mess. “Please! I need you!” Jimin yelled.

Yoongi nodded and pulled his fingers out. He lubed up his rock hard cock, thinking that he’d never been more hard in his life. Jimin flipped around to face Yoongi and slapped Yoongi’s hands away so he could sink down on his cock. They both let out low moans as he bottomed out. Jimin gasped and sat there for a moment to catch his breath.

Yoongi gently pushed Jimin’s hair back and pressed tiny kisses all over his face. Jimin giggled happily but stopped as soon as he moved his hips. He started a quick pace immediately, bouncing up and down frantically.

The sounds of skin slapping together and loud moans filled the small bedroom. Jimin dug his fingernails into Yoongi’s back when Yoongi started thrusting up to meet him. As soon as Yoongi found Jimin’s prostate and Jimin screamed, he flipped them over and started pounding into that spot. Jimin wrapped his legs around Yoongi’s waist and tossed his head back onto a pillow.

“Oh my god, Jiminie, you feel so fucking good.” Yoongi praised, growling into Jimin’s ear.

Jimin gasped for breath. “Yoongi you’re so hot.” He moaned out, trying to hold back his orgasm.

Yoongi kissed him hard, continuing his fast pace. The closer he got, the louder Jimin got. Tears were leaking out of Jimin’s eyes and he was grinning from ear to ear. “Cum with me baby.” Yoongi groaned.

They both released at the same time, as soon as Yoongi spoke. Jimin screamed Yoongi’s name, cumming all over his and Yoongi’s stomachs. Yoongi was almost as loud as he came inside of Jimin. They stayed like that for a few moments, breathing hard and sharing soft kisses.

“Let’s get cleaned up.” Yoongi murmured against Jimin’s lips. Jimin nodded sleepily and let Yoongi lift him up. They moved to the attached bathroom and Yoongi cleaned them both up with a washcloth he found.

Yoongi picked Jimin up again and carried him back to the bed once he saw Jmin rub his eyes and yawn. He pulled Jimin’s boxers on for him as well as his shirt. “Here, you can sleep here.” He mumbled, setting Jimin under the covers.

Jimin hummed and watched Yoongi pull on his own boxers and shirt. He hesitated to put on his pants. “Yoonie. Please stay with me.” Jimin said quietly, voice shaking.

“Of course.” Yoongi dropped his jeans at the speed of light and crawled under the covers with Jimin.

Jimin snuggled up to Yoongi’s chest with his arms wrapped around him. Yoongi pressed a few soft kisses to his forehead and lips before sighing happily. “Night, my Jiminie.”

“Goodnight, my Yoonie.”

-2 and a half years later-

“Babe, I’m home!” Jimin called, opening the door to their shared apartment. “I have something for you!” He teased, hiding his gift behind his back. He dropped his keys on the side table by the door and walked towards the kitchen.

“Well, I have something for you too, my love!” A boy’s voice teased back, coming from the living room. Jimin veered straight towards his boyfriend’s voice.

“Happy two year anniversary!” They both yelled simultaneously, arms wide open.

Jimin’s eyes widened and glazed over. A big dinner was spread out on the table with all of his favorite foods. There were even candles lit and his favorite movie was ready to play. “Oh. Seokie, this is amazing!” He whispered, falling into Hoseok’s arms.

Hoseok picked him up and spun around, laughing softly. “Well, two years together is a big thing! I wanted this to be a perfect night! I’m even going to give you a massage!”

“Thank you!” Jimin giggled happily until Hoseok set him down. He held out the bag he was hiding. “This is your gift. It feels like it’s not as good as yours now but-”

Hoseok cut him off with a quick kiss. “Just the fact that we’re spending time together in our own apartment means the world to me, Minnie.” He took the gift from a blushing Jimin and opened it slowly.

Suddenly Jimin grabbed the gift and ran to their bedroom. “Stay here!” He yelled.

Hoseok stared after him, baffled. “What?” He mumbled.

Jimin came back into the living room empty handed and still bright red. “I-I’ll let you see it after we eat and watch the movie. And after the massage.” He said shyly.

Hoseok smirked and pulled Jimin in by the waist for a kiss. “Oh, is it something meant for the bedroom?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jimin blushed even harder and tilted his head. “Maybe.”

“Oh really? Maybe we should skip dinner then?” Hoseok murmured, smirk growing.

“Nope. One gift at a time.” Jimin hummed and walked over to the food, swishing his hips as he walked.

Hoseok groaned and followed. “My god, you’re gonna kill me, Minnie.”

The following morning, Jimin ran up to Taehyung and tackled him in a big hug. They were walking into the building that held their first class of the day. “Tae! Are you ready?”

Taehyung hugged him back enthusiastically and grinned. “Ready for the beginning of the final semester of our college senior year? Obviously!”

They linked their arms together and hurried to class, ready to start their day.

As soon as they walked in, both of them let out a low groan. A third groan was heard from the back of the class.

“Why does he have to be in this class?” Jimin whispered, taking the seat furthest from the boy they were glaring at.

Taehyung shrugged and faced forward in his chair. “I don’t know. Maybe because he’s Min Yoongi and he lives to turture you every second of every day.”

Jimin shot one more glare in Yoongi’s direction before looking at the board, needing a distraction.

The second, the professor dismissed them, Jimin and Taehyung darted out of the room. “I’ve gotta pee, meet you downstairs.” Taehyung said, running towards the bathroom.

Jimin sighed and ran into the empty elevator, sighing happily. He had escaped Yoongi’s torment for one class. Or so he thought.

A hand appeared in the closing elevator doors and they opened back up. Yoongi stepped in with a small smirk, making Jimin huff angrily. “The fuck do you want, Min?” Jimin hissed.

“Same thing I always want, Park. To see your pretty little face get twisted into something so angry whenever you see me.” Yoongi leaned against the wall as he spoke, facing Jimin.

Jimin refused to look at him, trying to keep his face blank. “Whatever.” He huffed again.

“Aw, come on. Don’t tell me that you’re gonna let me ruin your first day back! I’d expect a little more fight in you.” Yoongi teased.

The elevator doors opened and Jimin forced himself to make eye contact with Yoongi. “Guess we don’t always get what we want.” He stepped out and let the doors close behind him, leaving Yoongi still inside.

Taehyung came running out the stairwell doors a few seconds later and saw Jimin’s pissed off face, still sending death glares at the elevator doors. “Oh god, was he in the elevator with you?” Taehyung asked, eyes wide.

Jimin resisted the urge to spit on the doors before nodding and stalking out of the building. Taehyung followed close behind. “I’m sorry, Chim! I should’ve made you come with me or something.”

Jimin rolled his eyes. “I can take care of myself, Tae. I’ve been dealing with Yoongi’s harassment for over two years.”

Taehyung pouted. “Right, sorry. I just hate seeing you so angry because it’s not like you.”

Jimin took Taehyung’s hand and smiled. “It’s fine, seriously. Now, let’s go find your man!”

Taehyung groaned. “Jungkook is not my man!”

“Yes he is, you just don’t know it yet.” Jimin smirked and broke into a run, pulling Taehyung along.

They arrived at the cafe a few minutes later, both slightly out of breath. Taehyung spotted Jungkook through the window and faced Jimin with panicked eyes. “Oh god, we’ve been running. Is my hair messed up? Do I look okay?”

Jimin scoffed. “You look fine, Tae. And why are you so worried about how you look if Kook isn’t your man?”

Taehyung blushed and ran into the coffee shop. “Shut up.”

Jungkook lit up the second he laid eyes on Taehyung. He stood up too fast, nearly knocking over his chair. Taehyung helped him steady it, both giggling, while Jimin fell into his seat, trying not to laugh. “It’s worse than yesterday, oh my god.” He mumbled to himself.

Jimin drank his coffee silently for a little bit, watching Taehyung and Jungkook not so subtly flirt. How had they been dancing around each other for 10 years? Wow, my best friends are actual idiots, Jimin thought to himself.

“Okay guys, Hoseok’s gonna start the movie without us if we don’t go now.” Jimin finally interrupted when Taehyung laughed so hard he fell into Jungkook’s lap causing both of them to sit up straight and turn bright pink.

They quickly scrambled up and hurried for the door with an exasperated Jimin following.

As soon as they reached Jimin and Hoseok’s front door, Jimin rushed in and threw himself onto his boyfriend. “Save me from the lovestruck idiots!” He pleaded.

“Don’t worry, I’ve got it.” Hoseok chuckled and popped in the movie before anyone else could speak.

Jimin got comfortable on Hoseok’s lap while Taehyung sat beside them and Jungkook settled onto the floor in front of him. “What movie is it again?” Jungkook asked, grabbing the bowl of popcorn Hoseok made.

“Train to Busan!” Jimin answered, snatching the bowl from his hands.

“Hey! Give it back!” Jungkook whined, mouth already full of popcorn.

Taehyung snorted and reached over Jungkook. “Here, there’s another bowl.”

Jungkook smiled a little and took it. “Thanks, Tae.”

Hoseok nudged Jimin. “Woah, is it even worse than yesterday?” He asked.

Jimin giggled quietly and nodded. “Definitely. We need a plan. And fast.”

Chapter Text

Jimin woke up to the sound of knocks on the front door. He nudged Hoseok and was answered with a low groan. “What?” Hoseok mumbled.

Jimin rolled over onto his side and wrapped the covers tighter around him. “Door.”

Hoseok sighed loudly. “Can’t you get it?”

The knocks got louder and more frantic. “Please, Seokie?” Jimin asked, puppy dog eyes in full effect.

Hoseok took one look at his boyfriend and huffed, getting out of bed. “Fine.”

Jimin giggled happily and snuggled a pillow. “Thanks, love.”

“Yeah.” Hoseok rolled his eyes and kissed Jimin’s forehead before running to the door. “Coming!”

Jimin heard a few low words being exchanged before footsteps sounded and the bedroom door slammed open. “Jimin!” Tae yelled, Hoseok coming in behind him.

Jimin sat up and whined. “What? I was trying to go back to sleep. What time is it?”

Taehyung’s eyes were wide and he was wearing pajamas. His hair was all messed up and he was only wearing one shoe. As Jimin took in Taehyung’s state, he became more serious. “Woah, Tae. What’s wrong?”

Taehyung flopped onto the bed, trying to catch his breath. “I ran over hear as soon as Namjoon called me. We’ve all been trying to call you but your phone must be on silent or something. And it’s almost 5 in the morning.” Taehyung ranted, seemingly avoiding the point of the conversation on purpose.

Jimin grabbed Taehyung’s shoulders. “Taehyung! Calm down! Tell me what’s wrong.”

“It’s Minhyuk. They found his body.” Taehyung whispered.

Jimin froze and all the air rushed out of his body. “Wh-what?”

Taehyung grabbed one of Jimin’s hands and Hoseok took the other one, sitting behind Jimin.

“H-His body? I thought he ran away. That’s what everyone said. He’s dead? Oh god. Oh god, no. What happened?” Jimin started panicking, breath quickening and heart racing.

“I don’t know anything else. You were his boyfriend when he died and his parents knew that so they’ll tell the police. They’ll probably bring you in and tell you what they know.” Taehyung spoke quietly, trying to soothe Jimin by rubbing his thumb over his hand.

‘It’s okay, Minnie, breathe.” Hoseok shushed, petting Jimin’s hair gently.

Jimin took a deep breath and nodded, squeezing both of their hands tightly. “I can’t believe he’s dead.” He whispered, barely audible.

That afternoon, all six of their group were gathered in Jimin’s living room, staring at their phones. “When are they gonna call him in?” Taehyung asked, pacing back and forth in frustration.

At that moment, Jimin’s phone rang and he pounced on it, answering immediately. “Hello? Yes this is Park Jimin. Of course. Um, yes, he is. I can. Thank you, I’ll be right in.” He hung up and everyone stared at him, waiting.

“They want me to come in right away. And to bring Hoseok. I’m not sure why.” He mumbled, eyebrows furrowed.

Hoseok wrapped an arm around him. “Don’t worry. It’s probably because they know I’m your boyfriend now.”

Everyone nodded in agreement. “Okay, go! Come back here right after so you can tell us everything!” Jin said, practically shoving the couple out the door.

Jimin and Hoseok walked into the police station fifteen minutes later. Jimin was hiding behind Hoseok but the police officers recognized them both quickly. “Park Jimin and Jung Hoseok?” One asked.

They nodded and the officer brought them into a room with a table, four chairs, and a mirror. Then she left, leaving the two boys alone.

They sat in the chairs and Hoseok placed a hand on Jimin’s knee. “It’s okay. Now we’ll know what happened to him.”

Jimin nodded and stayed silent, bouncing the leg that didn’t have Hoseok's hand on it up and down.

After almost twenty minutes of silence, an officer walked in with a folder. He sat down in a chair across from them and set the folder on the table. “Park Jimin and Jung Hoseok, right?” He asked, opening the folder.

They nodded again. “Can you please tell me what happened to Minhyuk?” Jimin asked, voice small.

The officer eyed him for a second. “You were his boyfriend right?”

“Yes.” Jimin answered, looking down at his hands.

“How long did you two date before he went missing?”

“Almost eight months.”

“Do you know anyone who would’ve wanted to hurt him?”

“No, he was the most popular guy in school. Everyone loved him.”

“Would you agree with that statement, Mr. Jung?”

Hoseok looked up, startled to hear his name. He thought he was just here for Jimin. “Oh, uh, yeah. He really was the most popular guy. Always laughing with his friends.” He avoiding saying everyone loved Minhyuk because he didn’t. None of Jimin’s friends even liked him.

The police officer narrowed his eyes but nodded. “So, yes we found Mr. Kwon’s body where your freshman class took their trip two and a half years ago. Our lab concluded that he died around the time of the trip. He was hit on the head with something and then dumped into a river.”

Jimin’s eyes started watering. “Oh god, that’s horrible. But everyone was saying he went home early. He died up there?”

The police officer was obviously gauging their reactions. He narrowed his eyes again at Hoseok who had shown no reaction to the information except a slight widening of his eyes. “Yes, that’s right. Were either of you with him the night he went missing?”

Hoseok shook his head but Jimin nodded. “Yeah, I was at a party with him and a bunch of others. He was there when I left.”

“You left the party before your boyfriend did?”

“Yeah.” Jimin said quietly, not wanting to mention they had a fight. “I went back to my hotel room. Hoseok was my roommate. We went to bed.” He was telling the truth, minus the kissing part.

The officer took a few notes and then handed them each a card. “Okay, thank you. That’s all for today. If you can think of anything else at all, please call my number on that card.” Then he left the room, leaving the door open.

Jimin’s mouth was hanging open. “That’s it? That’s all they know?”

Hoseok stood up and took Jimin’s hand. “Come on, we’ve gotta get back. They’re gonna be wondering what happened.”

Jimin followed Hoseok into the car and stared out the window for the entire drive home. His mind was racing. What happened after he left? If he had stayed, would Minhyuk still be alive?

When the car stopped, Hosoek had to shake Jimin to snap him out of his thoughts. “Minnie, are you okay? I know that was a lot.”

Jimin nodded and got out of the car, hurrying upstairs. As soon as they walked in, a thousand questions were thrown at them.

“What happened?”

“Are you okay?”

“What did they say?”

“Where was his body found?”

“When did he die?”

“How did he die?”

“Guys! Stop! Leave him alone for a second so he can sit down!” Hoseok yelled. Everyone quieted down and moved back into the living room.

Hoseok pulled a silent Jimin over to the couch and sat him down.

After a few minutes, Jimin was able to speak. He relayed everything the police told him and everyone listened attentively.

“Someone finally snapped and killed his ass huh?” Jungkook said quietly once Jimin was done talking. Everyone turned towards him and Jin elbowed him hard.

“Hush! He was Jimin’s boyfriend!”

“Oh, right. Sorry, Jimin.” Jungkook said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

“It’s fine, Kook.” Jimin said, giving him a small smile.

“So they don’t know who killed him?” Taehyung asked.

Hoseok and Jimin both shook their heads. “He kept glaring at me. I think he thinks I did it so I could have Jimin.” Hoseok grumbled, frowning.

Jimin grabbed his hand. “I know you didn’t do it. And so does he. You have me as an alibi.”

“They don’t think you did it, right Jimin? I mean, you guys did fight before he went missing. You even slapped him.” Namjoon frowned as he spoke, realizing how it would sound. “I mean, I know you didn’t! You were obviously with Hoseok!”

Jimin shook his head. “I didn’t tell them about the fight. I thought they would suspect me if I did.”

They all gasped. “Wait, you lied? You realize they’re gonna find out because everyone on that trip is gonna be questioned.” Jin said.

Jimin sat back. “Oh. I didn’t think about that.”

“Now you’re gonna look even more suspicious for not bringing it up!” Taehyung exclaimed as he moved up onto the couch.

Jimin put his head in his hands and groaned. “Shit.”

Hoseok rubbed his back and looked at everyone. “We all know none of us did it. We just have to find out who did.”

Chapter Text

Jimin walked from Taehyung’s car with him, arms linked. Everyone was staring at him now that the news of Minhyuk’s death had spread. He heard a few whispers of people accusing him of killing Minhyuk after the fight. He scowled and ignored them, pulling Taehyung along.

During their first class, Jimin felt eyes on the back of his head which wasn’t new. But when he turned around to snap at someone, only Yoongi was staring. They both quickly averted their eyes and focused on the lesson again.

When the bell rang, Taehyung ran out the door because he had to meet Jungkook for lunch. Jimin slowly gathered his things, wanting everyone to hurry out of the room so he could breathe for a second. All of the attention was getting to him.

“Hey, Park.” Yoongi sneered from behind him.

Jimin shoved his last book into his backpack and stood up. “Not in the mood, Min.”

Yoongi walked behind Jimin until they reached the door. Then he slammed his hand on the door, trapping Jimin against it. “Well, I am in the mood.”

Jimin could feel tears welling in his eyes from the stress of today and the frustration of being trapped. “Let me go!” He yelled.

“Not yet. I wanna talk.” Yoongi teased, leaning closer to Jimin who was facing the door. “Did you kill him, Park?”

“No!” Jimin started shaking.

“I bet you did.”

“I didn’t!”

“I bet you liked killing him too, huh?”

Suddenly, Jimin broke. He started sobbing and sunk down onto the floor, dropping his bag. “I didn’t do anything!” He screamed, holding his head in his hands.

Then he was being pulled onto Yoongi’s lap. Yoongi pet his hair until he stopped crying which didn’t take long because Jimin was in complete shock. “Wh-?”

“This worked last time. Thought it would still work.” Yoongi shrugged, remembering the time Jimin broke down in their hotel room. He’d held him in his lap then.

Jimin slumped over onto Yoongi’s shoulder, exhausted. “That years years ago. Why’d you think it’d still work?”

“Because you’re still the same Jimin.” Yoongi whispered.

Jimin sat back and looked at the boy holding him. “Why are you being nice to me?”

Yoongi wiped Jimin’s tears with his thumb and sighed. “Because you’re still the same Jimin.” He repeated.

“I’m sorry.” Then Yoongi leaned in and pressed a quick, gentle kiss to Jimin’s lips. Jimin gasped and scrambled off his lap, running for his bag. “What the fuck? You can’t do that! I’m with Hoseok! Besides that, you can’t bully me and call me Park for two and a half years and then call me Jimin and kiss me! No!” Jimin yelled, racing out the door, leaving a shocked Yoongi sitting on the floor.

“I’m sorry.” Yoongi whispered again, but Jimin was already too far gone to hear.

Jimin stormed to the bus and sulked all the way home. He was beyond pissed. When he got to the right bus stop, he ran the rest of the way.

He slammed the door when he came in so Hoseok hurried to meet him. “Woah, baby, calm down! What’s wrong?”

Jimin flopped onto the couch angrily. “Min fucking Yoongi happened.”

“He’s never made you this angry before.” Hoseok said, sitting beside him.

“He waited until everyone left the class before pinning me against the door and not letting me leave. He started teasing, saying that I probably killed Minhyuk. It sent me into a panic attack and i fell on the floor. Before I knew it, he pulled me onto his lap and whispered things to calm me down. How the fuck can a bully go from teasing to comforting? Then he had to audacity to kiss me? I yelled at him and ran out the door. This fucking asshole!” Jimin ranted and ranted, staring at his shaking fists.

Hoseok stared at him silently until he was done. “He pulled you onto his lap and kissed you? You let it happen?” His voice was quiet and calm.

Jimin jerked his head up. “What? No! I was panicking too bad to get off his lap and then he kissed me when I wasn’t prepared! As soon as it happened, I was off and out the door! I didn’t want that to happen!”

Hoseok leaned back, eyes narrowed. “How am I supposed to believe that? You usually have full control of yourself during panic attacks. At least enough control to stop someone from leaning in and putting their lips on you.”

Jimin started to cry again. “No! Please, Seokie, please believe me. I would never let someone else kiss me! I’m yours! You know that! If I could have, I would’ve stopped him! I was still in a panicked state and I couldn’t! Please!” Jimin pleaded, grabbing onto Hoseok’s shirt.

Hoseok sighed and took his hands in his. “Okay, okay. I believe you. It’s hard to believe but I trust you. I’ve always trusted you, Minnie.”

Jimin leaned in and kissed Hoseok lightly. “My lips are yours. I love you.”

“I love you too, baby. So much. I’m sorry I reacted like that.” Hoseok mumbled, wrapping his arms around Jimin.

They held each other for a while, feeling safe and comfortable.

Then the front door burst open and Taehyung ran in, everyone else trailing behind. He grabbed Jimin’s red, puffy face and frowned. “Woah, what the fuck happened, Chim?”

“Yoongi.” Hoseok mumbled, squeezing Jimin’s hand.

“What did he do now?” Jungkook said, cracking his knuckles intimidatingly.

Jimin smiled at everyone with watery eyes. “Down, Kook. Don’t attack.” He joked. Then he explained what happened again.

“He what?” Jin yelled, standing up and heading for the door.

Namjoon grabbed his hand and pulled him back down. “Easy, Jinnie. He said don’t attack.”

“It’s okay, guys. I yelled at him and left. I’m fine. I don’t think he’ll try anything again.” Jimin made himself more comfortable;e on the couch, leaning on Hoseok.

“How could you possibly know that?” Taehyung asked.

Jimin shrugged. “I don’t know. I just hope he doesn’t. Otherwise I’ll have to call off my five attack dogs.” He gave them all a lopsided grin.

“Or don’t call us off and let us do something about it.” Jungkook mumbled, still cracking his knuckles.

Jimin shook his head. “I said no. But thank you all for being so ready to stick up for me. I love you guys.”

Everyone chorused ‘I love you too’ and moved to the couch for a giant group hug. Jimin was pushed onto Hoseok’s lap and Namjoon and Jin wrapped their arms around his neck. Taehyung and Jungkook wrapped their arms around his waist from behind him.

“Okay, I know I said I love you but please let me breathe.” Jimin said, voice sounding strangled from having so many bodies hug him tightly.

They all chuckled and backed off, sitting in their previous places around the room. “How about a movie to distract us?” Hoseok suggested.

Everyone nodded so Jimin got up and put in one that they hadn’t seen yet. A scary movie. As soon as Taehyung and Jungkook went to get popcorn, Hoseok, Jimin, Namjoon, and Jin all made eye contact before grinning. “Plan Taekook is a go.” Jimin mumbled.

Jimin and Hoseok sat on the couch, stretched out so nobody else could sit. Namjoon and Jin took the floor with Jin throwing his legs over Namjoon’s lap. That left the love seat open. Taehyung and Jungkook came back with three bowls and froze, eyeing the love seat. They awkwardly handed out the popcorn and shuffled over to sit down. It was a small love seat so their legs and shoulders were touching, causing both to blush deeply.

The other four tried not to giggle as the movie started. “This movie is so scary, they’ll be in each others arms before it's over.” Jimin whispered in Hoseok’s ear.

And he was right. But it wasn’t just Taehyung and Jungkook that got scared. Jin and Namjoon were clutching onto each other for dear life and Hoseok and Jimin were screaming every five seconds. They barely paid attention when Taehyung climbed onto Jungkook’s lap, hiding his face in his neck.

By the time the credits started rolling, popcorn was flung around the room and everyone was wide eyed. “Why the hell did you choose that one?” Hoseok mumbled, looking like he was gonna pass out.

Jimin grinned sheepishly and pointed over to Taehyung and Jungkook who were still in the same position. “It worked!” He whispered.

They high fived at the same time as Namjoon and Jin.

“Now, for part two.”

Chapter Text

Jimin woke up tangled in Hoseok’s arms with Namjoon passed out on his lap. They had all fallen asleep during the third or fourth movie and Jimin had no clue how their current positions happened.

Hoseok was asleep in a sitting position on the couch. Jimin was leaning on his chest with his legs stretched out to the other end of the couch. Namjoon was half on the floor, half on his lap. Jin was at their feet, curled up in a ball. Jungkook was on his back beside Jin with Taehyung fully on top of him.

Jimin untangled himself from Hoseok and Namjoon before nudging Taehyung. “We have class, we gotta get ready.” He whispered, not wanting anyone else to wake up.

Taehyung groaned and rolled over, falling off of Jungkook. He sat up quickly when he noticed where he was and blushed. “Chim, go go! Now!” Taehyung whispered, running into Jimin’s bedroom at top speed.

Jimin sighed and followed after him. Once he shut the door he crossed his arms. “Taehyung, this is the line. Why won’t you do anything about your feelings for Jungkook? Everyone knows you like each other!”

Taehyung started to tear up as he sat on the bed. “Chim, can we please not do this right now? We have class.”

Jimin sighed and pulled his best friend up into a hug. “Fine. But you have to say yes to hanging out with me, Hoseok, and Kook tonight. Just the four of us.”

Taehyung hugged Jimin tightly and nodded, knowing he didn’t have a choice. “Fine.”

“I don’t wanna go to class.” Jimin mumbled, suddenly thinking of the fact he shares that class with Yoongi.

Taehyung stepped back and smoothed Jimin’s hair down. “Don’t worry. I’ll fight him if I have to.”

Jimin smoothed Taehyung’s hair down in return. “That’d be a fight I’d like to see.” He joked.

They got dressed and brushed their teeth quickly, not wanting to be late. Jimin gave a quick kiss to Hoseok before dragging Taehyung out the door.

As soon as Jimin stepped in the room, he knew something was off. His eyes shot to the back of the room where Yoongi usually sits but he wasn’t there.

Taehyung followed his gaze and frowned. “Maybe he’s just late.”

“Yeah.” Jimin mumbled, taking his seat.

Jimin didn’t pay attention to the class at all. He spent the entire time staring at the door, waiting for Yoongi to walk in.

He didn’t. Jimin didn’t even hear the teacher dismiss class, Taehyung had to shake him. “Huh? What?”

Taehyung sighed. “Class is over.”

Jimin frowned and glanced at the door again. “It is?”

“Chim, come on. Snap out of it.” Taehyung pulled Jimin to his feet, scowling. “He’s probably sick or something. You should be happy he wasn’t here to torment you for a day.”

Jimin looked at Taehyung with a blank face. “The last time I had a fight with someone, they went missing and got killed.”

Taehyung froze. “Oh. You really don’t think that happened, do you? Yoongi’s fine! Don’t even worry about him.”

Jimin sighed and nodded, walking out of the room. “Yeah you’re probably right.”

“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this. It’s gonna look like a double date!” Taehyung was ranting and pacing around the bedroom.

Hoseok and Jimin had stopped listening about twenty minutes ago and they were laying back on their bed, scrolling through twitter.

“I mean, what if-” The doorbell rang. “Oh shit! He’s here! Can I jump out your window?” Taehyung asked, already moving to open the window.

Jimin sat up quickly and grabbed his wrist. “Living room. Now, Tae.”

Taehyung whined but walked past him, towards the living room. Hoseok slapped his ass as he walked by. “Go get him, tiger.”

Taehyung turned around and swatted at Hoseok’s arm before running out. Jimin collapsed back onto the bed in a fit of giggles.

“This is gonna be interesting.” Hoseok mused, pulling Jimin to his feet.

They wandered in to find Taehyung and Jungkook already chatting on the couch. After grinning at each other, Jimin and Hoseok sat on either side of Taehyung and Jungkook, practically squishing them together. “Ready for another movie night?” Jimin asked with a grin.

Taehyung subtly glared at him but Jungkook just nodded, making himself more comfortable.

Hoseok pressed play and they buckled down for the night.

About halfway through the first movie, they all realized none of them were really comfortable. Jimin got up, just wanting to stretch for a second, but Taehyung moved quickly and claimed Jimin’s previous spot. Jimin pouted but just walked over and sat on Hoseok’s lap, pushing Jungkook over some with his feet. Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves far too close, yet again.

They both started fidgeting, realizing either of them could move but no one did. Jimin pouted more when nothing else happened. “Okay, Seokie will you come with me to grab some chips and drinks?”

Hoseok jumped up quickly and nodded. He leaned over and whispered something to Jungkook that made him blush and swat at him. Hoseok just giggled and ran away. Jimin made eyes at Taehyung before following Hoseok to the kitchen. “Do you think anything’s gonna happen?” Jimin whispered, peeking around the corner.

Hoseok peeked around the corner too. “I fucking hope so. These two are ridiculous.”

They watched as Jungkook yawned and placed his arm around Taehyung. Hoseok snorted. “Cliché. Why’d he choose that move?”

Taehyung blushed at the same time Jungkook did. Then Taehyung said something quietly, frowning.

“What’s he saying?” Jimin whispered, straining to hear.

“We’re too far away, we just have to watch.” Hoseok replied.

Jungkook said something back to Taehyung and Taehyung knocked his arm off of his shoulder.

“Shit.” Jimin said, eyes wide.

“That’s not supposed to happen.” Hoseok mumbled.

Suddenly, Taehyung and Jungkook were both standing and yelling at each other.

“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” Taehyung screamed.

Jungkook gritted his teeth. “Nothing! It’s not supposed to mean anything, Tae!”

Taehyung started crying and he threw a pillow at Jungkook. “Get away from me! Just go!”

Jungkook stormed out front door, leaving Taehyung standing alone in the middle of the living room.

Hoseok raced after Jungkook, slamming the door behind him, while Jimin ran to Taehyung. He pulled him into a hug, muffling his sobs into his shirt.

“Tae, sweetie, what happened?” Jimin murmured, petting his hair softly.

Taehyung sniffled and gripped Jimin’s shirt tight in his fists. “He put his arm around me and I asked why he did that. He said it was because he thought I wanted him to. Then I asked if one of you put him up to it and he said kind of. I asked what that meant and he said nothing. Why did he do that? Is he playing with me? Doesn’t he realize that doing shit like that hurts me? I don’t want him to lead me on if he doesn’t feel the same way!”

Jimin nodded, listening to his best friend’s story. “Okay, Tae, I think there’s been a misunderstanding. We all know Jungkook likes you so I don’t think he meant what he said in a bad way. Maybe he got scared and thought you didn’t like him.”

Taehyung shook his head and sobbed harder.

As soon as Hoseok caught up to Jungkook, he clapped a hand down on his shoulder and turned him around. “Stop running and tell me what happened.”

Jungkook sniffled, trying not to cry. “I did what you told me to. You said make a move so I did! He got all weird and asked if one of you put me up to it! I said kind of and tried to explain that I wanted to do it, even if I was told to. But he didn’t let me talk! He stopped me and told me to go! He doesn’t like me, you were wrong! He probably hates me now!”

Hoseok sighed and wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s neck, pulling him into a hug. “He likes you. A lot. He has for years. I love you both but you’re so stupid! I am dragging your ass back there and you’re gonna talk it out! Sit down and tell him exactly how you feel. Don’t leave room for misunderstanding. Got it?”

Jungkook shook his head and tried to push Hoseok away. “Let me go! I’m not doing it! He hates me!”

Hoseok gripped Jungkook’s wrist tight and pulled back to the apartment. “I’m right. So shut up and try to do this for me okay? Do this for you! Fucking do this for Tae!”

Jungkook shut up and let himself be dragged, even though he was crying now and probably looked like a mess. Maybe it was better if they got everything out in the open for once.

Hoseok knocked on the door, keeping an iron tight grip on Jungkook. “Come in!’ Jimin yelled from inside.

As soon as the door was open, Jimin ran out and Hoseok shoved Jungkook in. “We’ll be out here. Now, talk as long as you need to. Just tell the truth for the love of god! Both of you!” Jimin yelled before Hoseok slammed the door shut.

All was quiet as Hoseok and Jimin slumped down against the wall across from their apartment. “I never thought this would happen. We literally had to lock them in a room while they were screaming and crying.” Hoseok mumbled.

“Well, at least it’s finally happening. Let’s hope this goes well for once.” Jimin responded, leaning his head over on Hoseok’s shoulder.

“The final part of the Taekook plan is a go.”

“Tell me what happened! Every single detail!” Jimin giggled, pulling Taehyung into his room. They locked Hoseok out, making him stay in the living room to hear the details from Jungkook.

“Okay, okay, fine!” Taehyung grinned, practically gushing.

As soon as Jimin and Hoseok had locked their front door, Jungkook walked over to the couch and sat beside Taehyung. They were both still puffy eyed and sniffling.

“So.” Jungkook started, not really knowing what to say.

“So.” Taehyung repeated, biting his bottom lip nervously.

“Tae, I-” Jungkook started to speak at the same time Taehyung spoke. “Kook, I-”

They both chuckled and looked away from each other. Jungkook took a deep breath and tried again. “I’m in love with you, Kim Taehyung. I have been for over ten years.”

Taehyung gasped at his blunt words. He never expected those words to come out of crush’s mouth. His heart rate spiked through the roof and he started to tear up again. “I’ve been in love with you for ten years too, Jeon Jungkook.”

Jungkook looked surprised. “Really?”

Taehyung snorted, wiping his tears away with his sleeve. “Yes, you idiot. Well, we’re both idiots I guess.”

Jungkook let out a choked half-sob, half-laugh. “We really are. We spent ten years pining after each other because we didn’t think the other one had the same feelings.”

“Now I understand why everyone was so annoyed everytime we were around each other.” Taehyung said, dropping his head into his hands.

Jungkook laughed. “It was probably unbearable for them.”

Suddenly, Taehyung leapt forward, throwing his arms around Jungkook’s neck. Jungkook grunted in surprise but happily returned the hug.

They cried for a few minutes, just holding each other. “What do we do now?” Taehyung whispered, hiding his face in Jungkook’s neck.

Jungkook hummed, thinking about what to do. “We could either take things slow or I could ask you to be my boyfriend right here. It’s up to you, Tae.”

Taehyung blushed and sat back a little to look at Jungkook. He wanted to see if he was really being serious. “Up to me?” He whispered.

Jungkook nodded, staring at the love his life with shining eyes. “I’m okay with whatever you decide because I love you.” His voice was just as quiet as Taehyung’s.

Taehyung wiped his tears away again and smiled. “We’ve taken it slow long enough don’t you think? I want to be yours and I want you to be mine because I love you too.”

Taehyung grinned, his smile stretching from ear to ear. “Will you be my boyfriend, Tae?”

Instead of answering, Taehyung leaned in, smashing their lips together. Ten years may have been a long wait but it was beyond worth it for both of them. Taehyung honestly felt like he was floating, happier than he’d ever been in his life.

Jungkook’s hand found its way to the back of Taehyung’s neck, pulling him even closer. Their lips moved slowly and gently, savoring every second they had.

They pulled away when they both needed breath and Taehyung leaned his forehead on Jungkook’s. “Mine.” He whispered.

“Mine.” Jungkook repeated.

Jimin squealed as Taehyung told the story. “Oh my god, it’s better than I ever imagined! I just wish this had happened ten years ago! It would’ve saved every one of us so much trouble.”

Taehyung shrugged, still smiling. “Maybe. But I kind of like how things have turned out.”

They talked for a few more minutes before Jimin stood up and pulled Taehyung into a hug. “I am so proud of you, Tae.”

Jimin tucked his chin onto Jimin’s shoulder. “Thanks, Chim. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Taehyung and Jungkook left the apartment hand in hand, smiling and giggling. Jimin and Hoseok watched them go from the doorway. “It finally happened. “Hoseok whispered, still in shock.

Jimin smirked and shut the door, leaning back against it. “You know what else is about to happen?”

Hoseok’s eyes darkened and he stepped forward, pressing Jimin into the door with his body. “Hmm? What’s that?”

Jimin leaned in and licked a line from Hoseok’s collarbone to his ear. “You’re gonna fuck me good.” He whispered.

Hoseok growled and lifted Jimin up in his arms. Jimin wrapped his legs around his waist as he carried him into the bedroom.

Hoseok tossed him down on the bed and crawled over him. He kissed the smirk off of Jimin’s face, rough and demanding.

Jimin returned the kiss, lifting his hips desperately to get any sort of friction. Hoseok slipped off him, making Jimin whine.

Hoseok shushed him and removed their pants before sitting on the bed and pulling Jimin onto his lap. Jimin kissed him again and started grinding his hips against Hoseok’s frantically. They both moaned, already rock hard because it had been way too long since they last time they slept together.

Hoseok broke the kiss to lean back and remove both of their shirts, tossing them into some random spot to be cleaned up later. “God you’re so hot, Seokie.” Jimin murmured. Even after two years, he’d never stop loving to just look at his boyfriend. Hoseok felt the same way about Jimin, eyeing him up and down.

“Look who’s talking, baby.” Hoseok whispered back before slapping Jimin’s thigh. “Hands and knees.”

Jimin climbed off of his lap and got on his hands and knees obediently. Hoseok leaned in and grabbed two fistfuls of Jimin’s ass, licking his lips. As Hoseok always said, that ass should be made the eighth wonder of the world.

He moved in further and bit one of Jimin’s cheeks before eating him out. Jimin lurched forward, a high pitched moan escaping his throat. After only a few seconds of teasing, Hoseok pushed his tongue inside and Jimin whined breathlessly, squirming around on the bed.

Hoseok grabbed his hips to keep him still and his attack with his tongue continued. “Oh, god, I’m gonna-” Jimin choked out before being cut off by a moan.

Hoseok squeezed his thigh, telling him to go ahead and let go. Jimin did. He came hard, releasing onto the bed below him and muffling his cries with a pillow.

Hoseok licked him for a few more seconds before moving back and flipping Jimin over gently. He wiped Jimin’s hair from his sweaty forehead and leaned in to kiss him. He still had spit all over his face but Jimin loved it when he was messy like this. They kissed until Jimin was half-hard again.

“Please, get inside me!” Jimin pleaded, wriggling around because he couldn’t keep still.

Hoseok slid down Jimin’s body and sucked on one of his nipples in response. Jimin cried out and arched his back, grabbing Hoseok’s hair roughly.

Hoseok hissed and released him, moving into a kneeling position to grab the lube from the nightstand. “Want my fingers baby?”

Jimin almost shook his head because he liked the burn but he knew it’d been a while and the stretch might be too much. He nodded instead. “Yes, please, make it quick or I might die.”

Hoseok chuckled and spread Jimin’s legs, applying the lube to his fingers. He knew his tongue had already stretched him out some so he put in two fingers at once, causing Jimin to moan loudly.

He worked Jimin open slowly and left multiple hickies across his abdomen and thighs at the same time. He added a third finger before moving up to leave more hickies on his chest.

Jimin panted and whimpered, needing more and less at the same time. It was the perfect as always and he felt like he might combust from pleasure.

Then Hoseok removed his fingers and lathered up his cock before snapping his hips forward, burying himself in Jimin immediately. Jimin cried out again and pulled Hoseok’s face down to his. As he kissed him, he wrapped his legs around his waist, pulling him deeper.

Hoseok groaned into Jimin’s mouth and started a slow, teasing pace. Jimin whined and deepened the kiss. Their tongues battled for dominance but Hoseok easily won.

Hoseok knew were Jimin’s spot was but he sped up his pace and avoided it on purpose. Jimin tried to wrap a hand around his own cock but Hoseok slapped his hand away.

Jimin pulled back and attached his lips to Hoseok’s neck, leaving hickies of his own. Hoseok marked up Jimin’s neck at the same time, wanting to leave his neck purple so everyone knew he was taken.

Hoseok lifted himself up on one hand and wrapped his other around Jimin’s throat, applying slight pressure. At the same time, he thrusted over and over, right on Jimin’s spot.

Jimin let out a choke scream and moaned continuously. The pressure on his throat loosened for a second and then Hoseok squeezed tighter, cutting off Jimin’s moans.

After just a couple seconds, Jimin came silently, unable to make a sound. Hoseok saw the look of pleasure and felt Jimin tighten around him. He came just a second after, calling out Jimin’s name and releasing his throat.

Jimin took in a gulp of air and shuddered as Hoseok rocked them through their orgasms. They stayed like that, exchanging lazy kisses for a few minutes. Then Hoseok slipped out and helped him to the bathroom. They climbed into the shower and let the water run over them.

Jimin leaned heavily against his boyfriend and kissed him again. The kiss escalated immediately and Hoseok pulled back with a groan. “Watch it or we might just have to go for a round two, Minnie.”

Jimin nibbled on Hoseok’s bottom lip and hummed. “Maybe that’s what I want.”

“But you’ve already cum twice tonight.” Hoseok mumbled, even though he was already about to give in.

“Oh please, you know that’s the bare minimum I can handle.” Jimin scoffed. His record was 6 orgasms in one night. They hadn’t reached that number again since.

Jimin snaked a hand down Hoseok’s abdomen before wrapping it around Hoseok’s cock. He pumped his hand a few times and Hoseok was already hard again. “Fuck it.” Hoseok growled, spinning Jimin around.

Jimin grinned and stuck his ass out while pressing his face against the shower wall.

Hoseok pushed himself inside Jimin again and leaned forward, pressing his chest against Jimin’s back. He started moving fast, wanting this to be just a quick round. They were both already exhausted.

The shower running drowned out their low moans and loud breathing. Jimin turned his head to kiss Hoseok once, then twice, before turning back to the wall.

They were both incredibly worked up still so it only took a few minutes before Jimin was cumming on the shower wall and Hoseok was releasing inside of him. He pulled out, panting and watched as his cum dripped from Jimin’s hole.

Jimin turned to face Hoseok, pressing a soft, quick kiss to his lips. “I love you, Seokie.”

Hoseok smiled fondly, reaching around him to get the soap. “I love you too, baby.”

They cleaned up quickly, both wanting to get to bed. That didn’t stop them from taking a small break to make out again though.

As soon as Hoseok had dressed them both in boxers and t-shirts, they fell onto the bed. Jimin curled up against Hoseok’s side, laying his head on his chest.

Hoseok wrapped an arm around Jimin’s waist tightly and kissed his forehead. “Today was a good day. Despite all the crying we had to witness.” He joked, eyes already slipping closed.

Jimin hummed in agreement, closing his eyes as well. He was too worn out to utter a single word.

“Night, Minnie.”

Chapter Text

The next morning, everyone got a call from the police station asking them to come in to answer some questions. Namjoon, Jin, and Jungkook all ran straight over to Jimin and Hosoek’s apartment. Only Hoseok was there because Jimin and Taehyung had class before they could visit the station.

Taehyung talked during the whole class, wondering what kind of questions they’d be asked. Jimin wasn’t listening because Yoongi wasn’t in class again. He cut off Taehyung in the middle of a sentence. “What if they’re calling us in because Yoongi is missing now too?”

Taehyung whipped his head towards Jimin. “What? No, that’s insane. He’s probably just sick, don’t worry.” He was being a bit of a hypocrite thought because this was the second class Yoongi had missed. What if something had really happened?

They hurried to the apartment as soon as the teacher dismissed class. “Should we all go in together? Or one at a time?” Jin was asking when the two walked in.

“Maybe in pairs?” Namjoon suggested.

Hoseok nodded. “I like that idea. We’re all couples anyway and none of us will be alone.”

They all voiced an agreement and Hoseok volunteered to go first with Jimin. Jimin protested at first but gave in after he looked at the faces of his scared friends. He and Hoseok had gone through this before so they knew what to expect. The others didn’t. “Okay, fine.”

“Name?” The police officer asked. It was the same one that had interviewed them before.

“Park Jimin. Are you sure Hoseok can’t be in here with me?” Jimin asked nervously. He didn’t want to be alone.

The officer, Officer Choi, nodded. “Yes, he’s being interviewed in the room next to us. It’ll go by faster if two people do the interviews at once.”

“Right.” Jimin mumbled, staring at the door.

“So, sorry to ask questions that you’ve already answered. We just have to double check some things. Please tell me your alibi for the night Minhyuk went missing.”

Jimin sighed and told the same story again. “As soon as I left Minhyuk, I went to my hotel room. Hoseok and I talked for a little bit and then went to bed. We slept all night.”

Officer Choi wrote down a few things and pursed his lips. “You told a few lies during the last interview. Can you please tell the truth this time, Mr. Park?”

Jimin froze. “Uh, I’m sorry? What lies did I tell?” He couldn’t remember anything specifically. He told them the truth but just excluded some things.

“For one, you and Minhyuk fought before you left. A bad fight from what I’ve been told by your classmates.”

Jimin gulped and looked down at the table. “Yeah, we fought. We were both drunk and he was trying to make out and feel me up in the middle of the party. I told him I didn’t want to because there were so many people but he wouldn’t let me go. I got angry and slapped him before I left. That’s all.”

Officer Choi frowned and wrote down some more notes. “Was Minhyuk abusive often?”

Jimin’s head shot up. “No! He wasn’t abusive!” He said, waving his hands in front of him.

Choi tilted his head. “But you said he was trying to force you to do things that you didn’t want to and that he wouldn’t let you go. You had to slap him to stop him.”

Jimin let out a forced chuckle, looking panicked. “He was just drunk and playing around. I took it too far when I slapped him.”

Choi shook his head and sighed. “Okay. And you’re sure that both you and Hoseok slept through the whole night? Neither of you left the room?”

Jimin nodded. “Yeah, well I know I did! I was completely passed out after everything that happened. And Hoseok was in the room the next morning so yeah, we both slept through the night and didn’t leave.”

Choi wrote down a few things. “I’ll be right back ,excuse me.” He walked out of the room only to come back a minute later.

Jimin was completely confused but he didn’t say anything.

“How long have you been dating Hoseok?”

“We just had our two year anniversary.”

“Did he like Minhyuk? Remember, we’ve already questioned your classmates so don’t lie this time.”

“Well, no. A few people didn’t like him. They didn’t think he was the best guy for me, that’s all! Just being protective.”

“What about Min Yoongi? How did he feel about Minhyuk?”

Jimin paled at the question, not expecting them to bring up Yoongi. “Uh, well they kind of hated each other.”

“I was told they fought before. Over you.”

“No! Well, kind of. Yoongi saw a bruise on my hand from where I fell and thought Minhyuk did it. They fought over it but they never fought again.” Jimin was lying. He had definitely gotten that bruise from Minhyuk.

“Why did Yoongi think Minhyuk did it? Did he know of Minhyuk’s abusive tendencies?”

“Minhyuk wasn’t abusive!” Jimin yelled. “He loved me!”

Officer Choi looked at him for a long moment before nodding and standing up. “Thank you for your time, Mr. Park. We’ll call you back if we have any more questions.”

“Name?” The police officer asked. It wasn’t the same guy as before. He name tag read ‘Kim.’

“Jung Hoseok. Is there no way I can be questioned with Jimin?”

“No, I’m sorry. Are we ready to begin?” Officer Kim asked, glowering at Hoseok.

“Uh, yeah.” Hoseok mumbled, crossing his arms.

“Can you tell me your alibi for the night Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“I already told you guys th-”

“Again, please.”

Hoseok sighed angrily. “Fine. I was in my hotel room. Jimin came back when he left the party and we talked for a while before going to bed.”

Suddenly, the same police officer that had questioned him and Jimin before walked in. Officer Choi whispered something to Officer Kim and then left quickly.

Officer Kim wrote something in his notebook before lifting his head again. “Did you both stay in the hotel room all night?”

Hoseok narrowed his eyes. “Yes, we did.”

“But Jimin was passed out because he had been drinking right? So you could’ve left without him knowing.”

“No!” Hoseok said loudly. “I passed out too! I wasn’t drunk but I was exhausted! Neither of us left that room. Not even once!”

Officer Kim narrowed his eyes but nodded and wrote that down. “Minhyuk wasn’t very well liked by Jimin’s friends. Am I correct?”

“Can you tell me why?”

Hoseok hesitated. This wasn’t his story to tell. It was Jimin’s. “He just wasn’t the nicest person.”

“But everyone else at the school loved him. Why didn’t anyone that was close to Jimin?”

Hoseok shrugged. “We just didn’t think he was the best choice for Jimin.”

“And you are the best choice?”

Hoseok was fuming at this point. “No, I’m not because Jimin deserves the best. He deserves the world!”

Officer Kim stayed calm, despite Hoseok’s yelling, and took some more notes. “Okay, thank you very much for your time, Mr. Jung. We’ll call if we have anymore questions for you.”

“Name?” Officer Choi asked.

“Jeon Jungkook.”

“Can you tell me where you were on the night Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“I was in my hotel room with my boyfriend, Kim Taehyung. Well, he wasn’t my boyfriend at the time but we-”

“Okay, thank you. Did you not go to the party like everyone else?”

“No. Well, we meant to but Taehyung and I got so caught up in this game we were playing and then we fell asleep in the middle of it!”

“How did you feel about Minhyuk?”

“He was kind of an asshole but Jimin loved him so we all put up with him.”

“Why do you say he was an asshole?”

Jungkook stopped, looking nervous for the first time. “I don’t know, he never paid any attention to Jimin’s friends. Only his own friends.” It was the truth but not all of it.

“Right. Thank you for answering our questions. We’ll call if we think of anything else to ask you.”

“Kim Taehyung.”

Officer Kim leaned back in his chair. “You’re Park Jimin’s best friend, right?”

“That’s right.” Taehyung said proudly.

“And you would anything for him?”

“In a heartbeat.”

“Can you tell me where you were on the night Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“Yup. I was with Jeon Jungkook. Mine and Jimin’s other best friend, and now my boyfriend.”

“Did you go to the party?”

“No, we were playing a game and we fell asleep during it. I heard about everything the next morning though.”

“You mean, Jimin and Minhyuk’s fight?”

Taehyung narrowed his eyes slightly. He figured that they would hear about the fight eventually. “Yeah.”

“And how did you feel about Minhyuk? We know not everyone liked him.”

“I hated his guts. He was just completely wrong for my best friend. But Jimin loved him so what could I do?”

“You didn’t take things into your own hands and hit Minhyuk on the head because Jimin deserved better?”

Taehyung’s jaw dropped. “What? Hell no! I was asleep with Jungkook, in his hotel room! We stayed together the whole trip!”

“Okay, thank you, Mr. Kim. We’ll call if anything else comes up.”

“Name?” Officer Choi asked.

“Kim Namjoon.”

“Can you tell me your whereabouts the night that Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“Yeah, I was with my boyfriend, Kim Seokjin. We went to the party for a few minutes but left before Jimin got there. It was too loud in there, we could barely talk.”

“Right. We’ve heard that Minhyuk wasn’t as nice as everyone perceived. How did you feel about him?”

“I never talked to him much. I didn’t love him, though.”

“Why’s that?”

“He always seemed kind of off to me. I don’t know how to explain it.”

Officer Choi nodded. He didn’t suspect Namjoon or Seokjin at all but everyone had to be questioned. They had witnesses that saw the couple leave the party early, obviously very drunk. Probably close to the blacking out point.

“Okay, thank you. We’ll call if anything else is brought up, Mr. Kim.”

“Name?” Officer Kim asked, flipping his file open.

“Kim Seokjin.”

“Can you tell me what you were doing on the night Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“I was with my boyfriend, Namjoon. We left the party early and then went back to our room for some alone time.”

“Did you like Minhyuk?”

“Hell no. Hated the guy.”

“Enough to kill him?”

Seokjin’s jaw dropped. “No!”

“Why’d you hate him?”

“He was fake. He was nice to everyone who adored him but us? He hated all of Jimin’s friends so we hated him too.”

With no reason to suspect him, Officer Kim didn’t have anymore questions. “Thank you, Mr. Kim. We’ll call you back if we have any more questions.”

“Name?” Officer Kim asked.

“Min Yoongi.”

“Where were you the night Kwon Minhyuk went missing?”

“I was in my hotel room. I watched movies until I fell asleep.”

“So you were alone?”

“Yeah, so?”

“You were the only person in the freshman class who was alone.”

Yoongi sat back, realizing what was going on. “Oh. Well, I’m telling the truth. I was alone all night and I didn’t leave my hotel room.”

“How did you feel about Minhyuk?”

Yoongi decided saying he hated him wouldn’t be a good idea right then. “I didn’t know him well enough to have a strong opinion. He didn’t talk to me.”

“But you guys talked enough to have a physical fight once. You’re the only person, besides Jimin, who ever fought with him.”

“I was defending Jimin!”

“Why did you feel the need to protect Jimin? I’ve been told that you two haven’t talked in quite a while.”

“Well we used to be really close! I saw a bruise on Jimin and guessed Minhyuk did it.”

“Why is that?”

“I don’t know.”

“Could you have been jealous of Minhyuk?”

“Well, he was dating Jimin. Some of your classmates told us that right after Minhyuk went missing, you were with Jimin.”

“We hooked up a few times after we got back from the trip. But Jimin called it off after like a month.”

“Do you know why?”

“Probably because of Hoseok. They started dating like six months after that or something.”

“And that didn’t bother you?”

“No. Hoseok is good to Jimin.”

“But Minhyuk wasn’t?”

“I never said that.”

“But you implied it.”

“No!” Yoongi yelled. He was fed up with these questions. “Okay? No, Minhyuk wasn’t good to Jimin. He was a bad boyfriend and Jimin deserved better! But I didn’t kill him!”

Officer Kim smirked and tapped his pencil on the desk. “Thank you very much Mr. Min. We’ll call you back soon if we have anymore questions.”

Chapter Text

Jimin slumped down in his seat beside Taehyung. It had been a few days since the interrogations and Yoongi still hadn’t come to class. Jimin wished he had the courage to call him, just to see if he was alive or not. But he couldn’t. They hadn’t talked in over two years except to fight.

The door burst open five minutes after class started, making everyone jump. Yoongi stood in the doorway with wild eyes, panting. “I’m sorry I’m late!” He said to the professor before tucking his head down and walking to his desk in the back of the room.

Jimin’s eyes locked onto Yoongi’s body and didn’t leave him. Yoongi looked horrible. He had bags under his eyes and it looked like he hadn’t brushed his hair properly in a few days. His clothes were rumpled and he was slouched over in his seat with a spaced out look on his face.

As soon as class was dismissed, Jimin jumped out of his seat. Yoongi stayed seated, staring out the window like he had forgotten where he was. “Tae, go on ahead. I’ll meet up with you later.” Jimin mumbled, still not taking his eyes off of Yoongi.

Taehyung made a strange face but listened to Jimin’s orders and left the room while shaking his head. Yoongi didn’t even stir until every single person had left the room. He looked up when Jimin walked towards him, surprised to see only him left.

“You’re alive.” Jimin stated with wide eyes, fumbling with his fingers awkwardly.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, looking tired. “I am.”

“Why didn’t you come to class for so long?” Jimin asked, trying not to pout.

“Why? Did you miss me, Jiminie?” Yoongi smirked, his old nickname for Jimin slipping out.

Jimin froze, his blood running cold in his veins. “I was worried you were dead and this is how you treat me?” His voice was deadly calm and Yoongi could already tell he messed up again.

“Why did you think I was dead?” Yoongi tilted his head, trying to look less cold but he was just so exhausted.

Jimin scoffed and sat on top of a nearby desk. “Why do you think? You stopped showing up to class! The last time someone went missing after arguing with me, they died!” He yelled, tears filling his eyes.

Yoongi’s jaw dropped. “Wait you were actually worried about me? I thought you hated me?”

Jimin ran his hands through his hair. “I could never hate you! We were friends for so long. Even more than friends at one point, Yoongi. Now, will you tell me why you stopped coming to class?”

Yoongi dropped his gaze, unable to look Jimin in the eye. “I felt bad about kissing you. I thought it’d be best to avoid you for a little while. Isn’t that what you wanted?”

Jimin groaned in frustration. “No! That isn’t what I wanted! I miss being around you, being friends with you. I’m with Hoseok so you can’t be kissing me but that doesn’t mean I want you disappearing.”

Yoongi stood up and pointed a finger at Jimin, a flash of anger in his eyes. “It’s hard to be around you without wanting to kiss you, Jimin! I’ve loved you for the same amount of time Hoseok has but you chose him! Not me! You slept with me first but you left for him! Was I not good enough? Could I not give you the same things he could? Why? Why did you choose him?” Yoongi was close to tears but he wouldn’t let them fall.

Jimin, however, was openly crying. “I don’t know! I had feelings for both of you! I really don’t know why I chose Hoseok! I’m so sorry, Yoongi. I never wanted to hurt you.”

Yoongi dropped his head to stare at the floor. He watched as the first tear slipped off the end of his nose and landed on the ground. “That’s all you’ve done. Hurt me. Ever since I laid eyes on you.”

Jimin stayed silent, staring at Yoongi sadly.

Suddenly, Yoongi lifted his head again and took a step towards Jimin. “You said you had feelings for both of us?”

Jimin gulped. “I did.”

Another step closer. “Do you still?”

“I-I don’t know. I love Hoseok.”

Yoongi narrowed his eyes. “Not what I asked. Do you still have feelings for both of us?”

Staring into Yoongi’s dark eyes, Jimin couldn’t lie. “Yes.”

Another step. “Do we both make you feel safe?”

“Do you want Hoseok to kiss you?”

Another step. Yoongi was now an inch from Jimin’s face. “Do you want me to kiss you?”

“Yes.” Jimin said without actually thinking about the question.

Yoongi was waiting for that exact answer. As soon as he heard it, he lurched forward, wrapping a hand around Jimin’s neck. Jimin froze for a split second and then pushed his hand between their mouths before Yoongi could kiss him. “Wait! No! That’s not what I meant to say! Stop!”

Yoongi sighed and stepped back, dropping his hands to his sides. “It’s exactly what you meant to say, Jimin. That was the most honest you’ve ever been with me.” Then he quickly gathered his things and walked out the door.

Jimin kept his hand pressed against his mouth and stood there in shock, staring at the door Yoongi had just walked through.

What did I just do?

“Tae? I need you to come over. Now.”

“I’ll be there in five.”

Jimin paced around his living room. He needed to talk about what happened and Hoseok was in a class.

Taehyung ran in the front door with Jimin’s favorite chocolate in hand. He recognized that tone of voice from one sentence over the phone. Jimin needed the best comfort he could off and someone to listen.

They flopped onto the couch together and Jimin nibbled on the chocolate Taehyung offered. “Thanks for coming so quickly.”

“Of course, Chim. You know I’ve always got you.” Taehyung responded, placing a hand on Jimin’s knee.

Jimin took a deep breath. “Okay so you know how Yoongi kissed me that one time I was having a panic attack?”

“Yeah, of course.” Taehyung said, a scowl on his face.

“Well, this happened after you left today.” Jimin recounted the whole story in detail, wanting Taehyung to understand how he felt.

“You said yes?” Taehyung exclaimed, eyes wide open in surprise.

“I wasn’t thinking straight! I think I was still thinking about the previous question he asked, which was about Hoseok! And I obviously didn’t want him to kiss me! I stopped him!” Jimin’s eyebrows were furrowed, trying to figure out everything.

“Jimin, you let him get up in your face and then said yes when he asked if you wanted him to kiss you. What the fuck? Why’re you telling me this and not Hoseok? He deserves to know!” Taehyung eyed his best friend warily.

“He’s in class or I would’ve gone to him first! Obviously he deserves to know! I’m not keeping anything from him because there is nothing to keep! Nothing happened!” Jimin protested, crossing his arms.

Taehyung shook his head. “I love you but you’re stupid.”

Jimin whined loudly. “Hey, that’s my line to you!”

“But I figured my shit out. You clearly haven’t. It’s kind of messed up, what you’re doing. You keep putting yourself in a room with Yoongi alone when feelings are heightened. You’ve got to stop.” Taehyung said, frowning.

Jimin mirrored his best friend’s frown. “I’m not doing anything at all, Tae. I don’t like what you’re accusing me of!”

“I’m not accusing you of anything! I’m just saying stay away from Yoongi before something happens!” Taehyung yelled.

Jimin stood up quickly. “Nothing is gonna happen! I want Yoongi to be my friend again, is that a bad thing?”

Taehyung stood up too. “No but do you really think Yoongi can be just friends with you? Because I don’t! He’s the prime suspect in the murder of your ex-boyfriend for a reason!”

Jimin froze at the same time Taehyung did. “What? He’s the what?”

Taehyung sighed and put his head in his hands. “I talked to my cousin, she’s on the police force investigating Minhyuk’s death. She said Yoongi was their prime suspect.”

Jimin grabbed Taehyung by the front of his shirt. “Why? Why would she say that?” He yelled.

Taehyung grabbed Jimin’s wrists. “Because he was the only one alone on the night Minhyuk went missing! And he was in love you! And he had fought with Minhyuk before! As soon as Minhyuk was gone, you got with him! The proof is right in front of you! Why can’t you see that?” Taehyung screamed back.

Jimin crumpled to the floor, crying for the second time that day. “No. H-he wouldn’t. He isn’t capable of murder. Not the Yoongi I know.”

Taehyung crouched down beside him. “Come on, you aren’t blind, Chim. You just don’t want to see it. Why’s that?”

Jimin curled his hands into fists and gritted his teeth. “He is not a murderer. So you better stop right now.”

“Or what? You’ll hit me? You would actually choose someone who has bullied you for years over your best fucking friend?” Taehyung said loudly, standing up again.

Jimin wiped at his tears with his fists and started shaking with anger. “You aren’t acting like the best friend I know and love. He wouldn’t make me choose people like this.” He yelled back. He wanted to stand up and face Taehyung but he couldn’t get his legs to work properly.

Taehyung grabbed Jimin by the collar of his shirt and yanked him to his feet. “Really? Then hit me! Do it! I fucking dare you!” When Jimin didn’t move, he released him and stepped back. “That’s what I thought. Too much of a coward, huh?”

That did it. Jimin lifted his arm and punched Taehyung square in the jaw. “How’s that for a coward, you asshole!” He screamed at the top of his lungs.

Taehyung fell back onto the floor, holding his jaw, at the same time Hoseok came running in the front door. He had heard the screaming from outside. He took in the room, frozen in complete and utter shock. Jimin was standing over Taehyung, holding his fist and still crying. “What the hell is going on?”

The two froze, looking like they were about to attack each other again. Taehyung brushed himself off and stood up. “Why don’t you ask your boyfriend?” He spat, shoving past Hoseok and leaving the apartment.

Jimin stayed where he was standing, still shaking and fuming.

“Jimin. Answer me. What the fuck happened?”
