Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

“They are here high priestess.” Mia said a fellow priestess. I turned from the water that was in a crystal bowl to look at her. She had black hair, blue eyes in some ways she reminded me of my daughter Morgana. I sighed I needed to get my children out of my head as I turned and walked into the grand hall that had been darkened for my benefit until I felt like revealing my identity to my family who had left me for dead. I walked into the barely lit room, I saw the faces of the northern lords and my family, Ned and his wife and the children they had I assumed, Lyanna held her son’s hand who I knew as Jon Snow. He was a great man full of honor and from the looks of him he had his father in him and his mother as well. Let’s just hope he has more of Rhaegar than my sister for his and Daenerys fate that was rapidly approaching. I stepped up next to the alter as my family turned to look at me, their eyes narrowed when all they saw was a dark figure. “How can we talk to you high priestess if you won’t even show us your face?” Ned asked in suspicion.

I unleashed a loud laugh that echoed off the stone walls in this old temple. Everyone stiffened when they heard a laugh that held no humor within it. “You will talk to me, like this until I feel it time to reveal myself to a people who are known as oathbreakers and kingslayers such as yourself Ned Stark!” I replied coldly. Lyanna, Ned, and Benjen stiffen as they continued to look at me for some sign of who I was. “We were all told that the people of Albion turned their back on us.” Jon snow said as he raised an eyebrow in confusions I shook my head in mirth. Of course they would lie I thought to myself, “King Uther has to unite the people of this land together to defeat Mordred and his allies when they band together to destroy these lands and Ned Stark who promised his good brother men to help win our fight. He turned his back on his good brother and the people of this land.” I announced as Jon and rest of the northern men stiffen at the truth of my words. “I was not aware of this my lady, I plead that you hear us out for the night king has laid waste to Westeros and you are our last chance.” Jon snow pleaded with me. I sighed even though I had anger at my family Jon had nothing to do with this. Though he would soon take my daughter from me and that left me sad.
“I already know of the night king. Your mother, and Uncles Ned and Benjen are the ones who released him back into this world.” I said to my nephew with sadness. “What?” Ned asked and half demanded as everyone also turned white. Sansa, Arya, Robb, a girl I had no idea who she was stood next to Robb, Bran, and Rickon all gasped at my words and accusations. “Who the hell are you!” Lyanna demanded as I sighed and I chanted in the old language of my religion and the lanterns that once was cold lit with fire. The all jumped at the display of magic. I turned around and Ned, Lyanna, Benjen turned pale. “What’s wrong big brother, big sister, and little brother you all look like you have seen a ghost?” I said with a triumphant smile on my red lips. “Igraine?” Benjen asked in shock as I smiled wider. “It’s good to see the people who would be my killers.” I said like it was nothing. Jon and the younger generation of Starks stiffened as the all realized that I was their aunt.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

“What do you mean “would be killers”?” My niece known as Sansa asked and demanded to know. I raised an eyebrow at this girl who seemed to have to no respect for authority. “Exactly as I said it, your father, Uncle Benjen, and Aunt Lyanna were desperate for the rebellion that Lyanna started when she left to wed an already married man. So they used dark magic that they had no idea how to control and performed this magic ritual on me, using me as base for the spell to cause Aerys and his forces to die, they forgot of course that I was a priestess of the old religion and so I was left alive but my son I was carrying died, and caused the night king to awaken once more.” I explained to Sansa who paled. Ned stiffened at what I had just said as Jon gasped along with his cousins.

“You see after the rebellion happened your father and uncle and aunt no longer had need of me but still needed my husband’s men, so they didn’t tell him that I was exiled from Westeros and that they had left me in the snow to die, or that Lyanna had found out her daughter would destroy the children of forest and so decided to leave her for dead after giving birth to her. So my husband and I decided to save her, raise her ours since you Jon and Daenerys your sister are of course Rhaegar’s trueborn children after all.” I said knowing of course that Jon still assumed he was a bastard. Lyanna paled as I realized these secrets and the fact that her son now knew his mother was almost a killer and a liar. She glared daggers at me for she felt that I had no right to reveal this to her son. “You said that my sister was still born and that you didn’t know who our father was.” Jon said in anger. As he turned his rage on his sister, Ned and Benjen glared at me as well. “I’m sorry son, I didn’t want you to find out this way.” Lyanna said as she gave me a death glare. “Oh come off your high horse Lyanna you are an oath breaker and kin slayer so why shouldn’t we add liar to that list of who you are. We both know you would have never told the boy of who he is or that his sister is still alive. Because you have always been a selfish spoiled cold hearted bitch.” I said as she stiffened along with everyone else in the room. “I’m sorry for what we did to you, but you had no right to tell Jon.” Lyanna said once more blaming me as I could tell that she didn’t mean what she said. “Oh Lyanna do you really think that I am that much of a fool to fall for your games again?” I asked as she gaped at me.
“Your daughter is married to my son, Arthur and they have a son. Would you like to know his name?” I asked coldly as she Lyanna paled. Jon perked up at hearing that he had more family and the rest of the starks looked at me with interest. “What’s his name?” Jon asked me, I smiled at him and waved him to come forward. He shook himself out of his mother’s hands and walked closer to me. “Rhaegon Pendragon.” I said as Jon looked at me with his grey eyes that was so much his father. “You will go with me to the palace.” I said as I started to leave the grand hall. “We aren’t done yet!” Lyanna demanded as I turned and my eyes turned golden in anger. The fire rose from the lanterns as Lyanna and my entire family jumped in shock. “We are done, you will be escorted to rooms here.” I said as the other priestesses came forward and lead them from the room and walked out of the grand hall with Jon following after me.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

Jon stopped following me when we reached the entrance to the temple. “You are still unsure if you can trust everything I have told you.” I said as I turned to face my nephew. Jon sighed as he raised an eyebrow wondering how I knew his thoughts. “Yes.” He said as I nodded and walked back into the grand hall, he followed me in confusion. Ned, Lyanna, Benjen, and their children were still there looking at me in anger. I waved my hand and the floor began to open. The northern men and my family gasped and jumped up onto the raised floor near the alter. Water began to fill in where the floor had once been. Jon looked at me wondering what I was doing and how this would prove to him he could trust me.

“This pool allows others to see the memories of a person they wish to know if they are being truthful.” I said as Jon and the other Stark children looked at me with even more interest. I grabbed the dagger that hung on my right hip and pulled it from its sheath. I then cut my hand and walked over to the pool and dropped some of my blood into the water. Steam began to rise from the water as it had once been clear and turned a deeper shade of blue. “Once you see my memories there is no going back. So you must ask yourselves are you sure you want to know?” I asked them. Sansa scoffed as she looked at me and Robb raised an eyebrow of suspicion in his eyes. “At least this way we will know if you are lying.” Arya said as I nodded my head and began to chant in the old language. Now I had to mentally prepare myself for my past.

The past

“Ned. Please don’t do this.” I cried as I struggled against the men that now were dragging me to the table mom had once used. Ned looked down at me with cold grey eyes as he ignored my pleas. Tears of horror as I looked around the room for someone in my family to save me, but no once did. A sob broke through my closed lips as I began to fight once more, “Please, my son, I’m pregnant!” I shouted hoping that would get through to them. Benjen growled at me as he grabbed my already torn bodice and pulled me closer to him. “He is only half Stark, we need this to save more people from death.” Benjen spat as I turned white.

The guards then threw me on to the cold slab table, chains then bond me to the table and I was helpless. Ned held a book of blood magic, horror filled me. “You know when you do this, the night king will be released and Westeros will be laid to waste because of this.” I said trying to get through to them. “Do you think we care?” Lyanna sneered as she asked me this. “Once we do this we will be rid of you and still have your husband’s men helping us.” Lyanna said with a look of hatred on her once beautiful face. Ned grabbed a dagger and began chanting as he walked over to me and I closed my eyes as he began slicing into my skin. I screamed so loud and for so long that I could no longer scream hours later. I had lost so much blood that I knew they had finished the ceremony.

I was then tossed outside into the cold like trash, a priestess named Lily gasped and ran to me as she waved her hand over my body with healing spells. “We have to get her to Gaius.” Lily said as some of my guards nodded and lifted me up onto their horse. We rode fast from Winterfell to white harbor hoping to get there before Uther left to meet Ned. I was in and out of consciousness for what felt like days. “Igraine!” Uther yelled out. I opened my eyes to see my handsome husband run toward me as he grabbed me from the guard and took me onto our ship in a bed so Gaius could heal me. “Uther, Ned betrayed us. He and my siblings did this.” Was all I could mange before everything went black.

The future

Lyanna, Ned, and Benjen paled at my memories revealing the truth of my words. Jon stumbled back, his body met with the wall. I leaned on the wall for support as his shocked tear filled grey eyes met mine. Sansa dropped to her knees as she too looked at me with horror in her eyes, Arya looked at me with surprise, Robb paled and grabbed onto the girl I still had no idea about what her role was with the family. Rickon had tears rolling down his cheeks and Bran know as the Bloodraven looked at me with horror because he knew soon enough this would be him that would be standing here being exposed as well.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

“You wanted to know, now you must watch until the memory pool is done.” I said as Robb paled deeper like he was about to pass out. “Haven’t you done enough Igraine?” Benjen growled out from clenched teeth. I turned to look at my younger brother who I had once loved with my whole heart. “This isn’t my doing, Sansa, Jon, and Arya wanted answers. The old religion gives people answers and much more than that.” I said as Benjen looked at with horror. “When you dappled in blood magic you angered the old religion and magic. The balance has shifted and now my gods want all of Westeros to be gone for good.” I said as the Starks and the rest of the northern men looked at me with shock.

The past

Uther’s POV

“Gaius, Igraine needs you!” I shouted for my best friend. My wife’s legs had been sliced through almost to the bone, her dress that her mother had bought her was near destroyed. Gaius motioned for me to lay her on the bed, in his chambers. I placed her on the bed, he began to exam her to see what ailed her. “Igraine said that her siblings did this to her.” I said with my hands balled into fists. I began to pace the small room back and forth to control my raging temper. “My king, Igraine wanted us to find her niece, the one Lyanna left for dead.” A knight said. I ran outside motion led for Gaius to continue with his exam. I walked over to the knight in question, as sure as day he held a baby girl that cried loudly.

I froze when I saw her eye color and hair, she had Purple eyes and Silver hair the Targaryen look. I cursed under my breath as I realized why Ned needed me back here so soon, his sister had bedded down with Rhaegar who had been married. “You say Lyanna knowing left her daughter to die?” I asked the man. The knight nodded his head and began to recount to me why she had made that choice. I paled as I the took the baby girl my knights hands and looked down at her. “How could your mother be so cruel?” I asked myself a loud. “Uther come in here.” Gaius shouted for me. I ran back into the room and looked at my friend. “She has lost the child, it appears that they used her for a blood ritual. It killed the boy, because she is a priestess of the old religion and whatever they needed blood for needed death. So the price was your son and she will be out for months. But she will heal.” Gaius said as tears rolled down my cheeks.

“So you are telling me her own family wanted both our child and her to die?” I asked in horror as I placed the baby down by Igraine’s limp body, anger I have felt before coursed through me. The Stark man who had ridden with us came into the room. “Known of this changes the fact that you owe the warden of the north your men.” He reminded me. I grabbed my wife’s dagger and turned around so fast that he had no idea what was about to happen. I sliced his throat as he looked at me in shock, he fell to the ground dead. I then grabbed my sword and chopped his head off. I placed his head in a back and began writing to Ned, I placed the Pendragon sigil on it and closed the box. “Give this to your lord, and tell him if he ever comes to Albion I will kill him and every man who follows him.” I said as the last Stark man stuttered and grabbed the box he ran off the ship fast.

The future

“Dear god.” Sansa said as she watched this and shocked. Robb leaned over and began to empty the contents of his stomach on to the ground. “No more please.” Lyanna said as tears rolled down her cheeks. Jon looked at me and sighed as he could tell this was not my doing. “Do you really think I love watching what you all did to me over again?” I asked as Ned looked down at the floor. Benjen looked away from me and sighed as shame filled his face for the first time in years. “Believe me I didn’t want this. Jon and your children needed the truth.” I said. “Igraine I need your help.” Uther said as he walked into the room. He paled when he saw his once best friend Ned Stark. “Uther, it has been a long time my friend.” Ned said. Uther narrowed his eyes on him and then on all the other people in the room. Robb, Sansa, Arya, Jon, Rickon, and Bran paled when they saw the look on his face. Uther grabbed his sword and walked over to Ned and placed his sword to Ned’s chest. “Tell me Ned. Why shouldn’t I kill you were you stand?” Uther asked as his blue eyes filled with anger and hatred I walked over to my husband as Ned’s children looked ready to pounce on my husband for what he was doing. “Because you are above them, and you will not lower yourself to kill a man who doesn’t deserve your time or thought.” I said.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

Uther sighed and placed his sword back into its scabbard. As he took a step back from Ned, who looked at his once best friend in shock. His children and our nephew sighed a sigh of relief. “The only reason I am not killing is for your children who for whatever reason love you and for your sister.” Uther retorted to Ned. Ned paled as he looked at Uther, with a dumbfounded look on his face. “You betrayed your sister and me when you decided to use magic that you had no idea how to use and you didn’t care for the consequences just like Robert and Lyanna.” Uther told his once best friend. Sansa looked at her uncle that she had never truly known with a look of shock, actually all the Stark children seemed to be I a daze of shock. “What?” Uther asked the children as he finally noticed the way they were looking at him. “The power of your love for me confuses them.” I said as Robb slightly nodded his head. “I think it’s more of the fact that you are the first couple besides Robb and I that love each other so much that we would kill for the other that shocks them.” The girl said. I turned to look at her, she had long brown wavy hair and blue eyes she must be a Tyrell I thought to myself.

The past

Four moons later

Uther’s POV

“How do I explain all of this to the kids?” Uther asked his best friend Gaius. Gaius sighed and looked at Uther, he walked away from Igraine’s still form on the bed in a large chamber. “Morgana will understand better than Arthur. Morgana is four years old and Arthur is barely three. Tell, Arthur that his mother is asleep and he will believe it. Morgana is the one you may have to tell more details too.” Gaius said as he placed a hand on my shoulder for a second then his hand disappeared. “I will be here if you need me.” Gaius said as he then went back to finishing his exam of Igraine. “Daddy, your home!” Both children exclaimed in excitement. Uther smiled wide as Morgana held her younger brother and raced over to their father.

I placed a finger to my lips as I motioned with my hand to the crib next to me. Morgana’s eyes went wide as she turned and walked over to the crib suddenly curious. Lyanna’s baby girl was asleep but her silver hair was over her face, she was one of the most beautiful babies I had ever seen. “Whose baby is she?” Morgana asked after seeing that there was no similarities between them. “She is your aunt Lyanna’s.” I said as Morgana’s blue eyes darkened. “The witch who cursed mother and left her baby to die?” Morgana asked me. I paled and then knew she had the gift as well, I groaned and nodded my head. Arthur was more interested in the baby then in our conversation. “Dad, she needs name.” Morgana said. “Yaaa, turd.” Arthur suggested as Morgana looked affronted at the thought. I smiled even though we were dealing with something horrible they were able to be kids and that was all that mattered to me. “How about Daenerys, we just call her Dany for short?” Morgana suggested as Arthur made a pinched face as if he didn’t like the name. “No!” Arthur shouted as he stamped his foot and ran off in a huff. I sighed, “Daenerys fits.” I said as Morgana smiled and rolled her eyes as her brother. She then ran off after her little brother not even wanting an explanation about what happened to her mother, maybe because they some how already know.

The future

“So how many children do you both have?” Robb asked after seeing the latest memory. “We have a total of six if you count Daenerys as well.” I said as Jon nodded his head. “What’s their names?” Sansa asked. “Morgana is the eldest, Arthur is the second, the Daenerys, Lucan the boy I miscarried, Lancelot, Morgouse, then Gwenivere.” I said as Uther nodded his head.

The past

Daenerys’s POV

“You are a prat Arthur Pendragon!” I shouted at Arthur as she marched past him. Shoving her shoulder into his, he grunted and glared after me. “You know you can’t talk to me like that. Right?” He asked me as he stalked after me. “Why because you are the crowned prince? And think he is better than everyone else?” I asked him as I stopped walking and whirled around to face him so fast that he walked into me. “Yes. And also because you are my betrothed. It would not look good if you talk like that to me.” He said as he moved out of my personal space I raised an eyebrow at him. “Your reputation with the ladies would go down the drain is what you mean.” I told him challengingly at him.

Arthur blushed and glared at me, “What you didn’t think that Morgana wouldn’t tell me?” I asked him as sighed and cursed under his breath. “Oh don’t worry Arthur you can do as you please.” I told him. He looked at me and looked at me with surprise. “You mean that?” He asked me as I smiled at him. “Of course. That also means I get to as well.” I told him as his eyes widened at my meaning as I turned and walked away. He said nothing else as I shook my head and walked down to the dungeons and walked through the cells to the other part of the dungeons and grabbed torch. I walked down the stairs that led deeper into the earth. I came to an over look, a rock was all that stood in-front of me. “Uh, Emrys.” Kilgarra said as he flew down and landed on the rock. He was a giant gold dragon the last of his kind. “Arthur is an idiot.” I stated to him. He chuckled. “Your fates have always be intertwined, you are to be with two great men Daenerys. You and Arthur are destined to be the greatest king and queen of Albion. Your both two sides of the same coin, he is the once and future king. I am sorry Daenerys soon you will find that time is not on your side and the death of Arthur Pendragon will affect you and the world in so many ways.” Kilgarra said as tears rolled down my cheeks at the mention of his death.

The future

“What?” Jon asked in shock. “Arthur’s death was destined for many years, but with the blood magic it made his death prominent.” I told them all. Lyanna, Ned, Benjen looked at me in shock. “It’s like when you throw pebble into the water there are ripples for awhile to deal with something thrown into the water. That’s how the old religion is.” I explained as Jon looked at me in shock. “So you are supposed to lose two sons for what our family did to you?” Robb asked angry. “Yes.” I said as tears rolled down Sansa, Arya, and Rickon’s cheeks. Jon and Robb punched the wall behind them. “The old religion is trying to fix what Lyanna, Ned, and Benjen did. Since no one in Westeros believes in the old religion anymore it has to come from my line to fix.” I explained more as Lyanna, Benjen, and Ned looked at me in horror. “I’m so sorry Igraine. I didn’t...” Ned tried to says “You just didn’t care.” The Tyrell girl said as Robb looked at her in shock.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

“This may surprise you all, but Arthur is not as sad about as you may think.” Uther explained to his nieces and nephews. Robb raised an eyebrow in surprise and Jon shook his head not understanding. “Arthur is must like you Jon. He is willing to do whatever it takes to protect not only his people but the world and his family.” I told them. “How do you know I am like him?” Jon asked me not truly wanting the answer to that question. “The old religion took an interest in you, Robb, and Sansa the moment you were all born. Sansa, you may even have the gift.” I said as Sansa looked at me with wide eyes along with Catelyn.

“How?” Catelyn asked, she was the second wife of Ned. “You all forget that our mother, that would your grandmother was born with the gift and followed the old religion and was a priestess until her death.” I said as Sansa smiled knowing she had something the rest of her siblings and cousins didn’t have. “But why Robb and Jon?” Arya finally asked. “Robb is prophesied to be king of Westeros, while Jon is supposed to take the Albion kingship with Daenerys.” I explained as Jon looked at me in shock. Robb gasped as he heard me say that he would be king. “Who would be the heir to Winterfell then?” Catelyn asked also in shock. Ned looked somewhat pleased by these turn of events. “Rickon must likely.” Uther said as all the children of Ned Stark looked at him. “Bran is the Bloodraven.” I announced as Bran paled at the title. They all looked like they wanted to question me further on what that name meant, I waved my hand. “Now is not the time, the old religion can only answer one question at a time.” I replied as they all nodded their heads.

The past

Daenerys POV

“Let me go you prats!” I shouted at the men who dragged me from the horse I had been on a few moments ago. I struggled to get out of their iron clad grip, “Will you shut up Dany!” Arthur shouted at me as he too tried to pry himself out of the hands of the men who now dragged him to the top of the waterfall. I paled as I watched the men stop and look at Arthur. Please no I prayed to the old religion. “Hope you have a nice swim rich lord.” One of the men cackled as they then pushed him over the waterfall into the dark depths of the frozen lake bellow.

A sob left my open lips as tears rolled down my cheeks as a burst of energy was released from my hands as my eyes turned golden. The men were thrown against the trees to their deaths as I began to undress the top layer of clothing and piled them on the ground. I took a deep breath and chanted a heating spell as I ran and jumped off the cliff after Arthur. I broke through the ice and hit the cold water. I opened my eyes as I looked frantically for Arthur. I finally found him going towards the bottom of the lake, he had stopped struggling. I swam faster and grabbed ahold of his arm as I whispered spell that launched us out of the frozen lake and into the cave.

Cold, I thought as I looked down at Arthur he was pale, and his lips were turning blue. I got up and struggled to drag him with me as we ventured deeper into the cave. Warmth hit me as I looked around and found a bed of furs and a fire going, this had once been the cave for the lady of the lake before mordred had ended her life. I undressed Arthur as I then began to wave a healing spell over him as he coughed and I placed the furs over us as I sank into the feather mattress. “You save me?” Arthur asked surprised. I rolled my eyes at him, “You are a clot pool Arthur Pendragon.” I told him as he chuckled and pulled me into his arms. “What’s a clot pool?” He asked me as I leaned into his warm body. “A stupid boy named Arthur.” I said as he shook his head and leaned down and kissed me.

The future

“Who wanted him dead?” Robb asked. I smiled at him as I sighed. “A man by the name of Henderson. Don’t worry he did die by Arthur’s hands of course.” Uther said. Jon nodded his head.

The past

Uther’s POV

“You need to know three things before you use this sword.” I said to Arthur and Dany. Dany sat straighter as I held my sword in front of them, “what?” Dany asked excitedly. “One that this is a tool, that means that this is not evil nor is it good. Just like magic, they are only that way by the user.” I said as Arthur nodded his head in understanding. “If used in evil it can corrupt the user, to like killing that can also turn the user into a cold blooded killer.” I explained as Dany nodded her head in understanding. “Two, knowing when to kill and not to kill is very important.” I said as Arthur looked at surprised. Dany seemed to understand as a smile spread across my lips.

“Killing is only used for surviving or in battle. Not killing is when you find someone that may not deserve to die. You must use your heart in those moments.” I explained as Arthur nodded his head in understanding. “What’s the third one?” Dany asked wanting more. “That you must always be three steps ahead of your enemy at all times.” I explained. “Do you consider the woman who gave me life an enemy as well?” Dany asked me. I sighed as Arthur sat up straighter. “Yes, she has always been the enemy Dany.” I explained as her face paled. “Does that make me a monster as well?” Dany asked as tears rolled her cheeks. I got off the log and ran over to Dany. He pulled her off the log that she sat down with Arthur. “No, she is and anyone who uses blood magic. Do you understand Dany?” I asked her as she nodded her head.

The future

“Damn.” Jon said as Lyanna paled. Ned sighed as he looked over at me. “It means that Ned and Benjen are the only two who the old religion is willing to save.” I explained as Ned and Benjen looked at me in surprise. “What about Lyanna?” Ned asked cautiously. I looked over at my sister as she rolled her eyes at all of this. Jon looked at his mother, like he was seeing her for the first time. “Sadly, she won’t be saved since she led Rhaegar, Rhaella, and hundreds more people to their deaths. She will die the thousand deaths.” I said as Arya gasped along with Robb, bran, Rickon, and Sansa. “What does that mean?” Jon asked. Ned and Benjen looked at me for the same answer as well. “It means that the old religion will tear her apart and put her back together for a thousand years and for the first time in this life they will feast off her energy that will go to bringing back magic to the world.” I said as everyone looked at me in shock and horror. “What?” Lyanna cried out. As she paled and looked at me with tears rolling down her cheeks. “It’s the price you pay for their deaths and the deaths of my sons.” I said as she looked at me in shock. “There consequences for what you did.” Uther said as he couldn’t believe she was so shocked that she must be punished.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

“Why is Lyanna the only one who will be punished?” Rickon asked as Ned and Benjen looked at him with a raised eyebrow. He looked at them and shrugged his shoulders thinking it was good question. “The old religion measures someones worth by what they have done their e tire life, Ned and Benjen have always done those horrible things because they were trying to do good by doing something horrific. While your aunt did everything to further her gain to make herself richer and more important. It was all for her rather than to help others.” I said as Lyanna looked at me with hatred in her brown eyes. “What did your sister ever do to you for you to hate her so much?” Uther asked her as Robb, Arya, Sansa, Rickon, Jon, and Bran looked at her wanting the answer as well.

Lyanna opened her mouth but nothing came out as she closed her mouth and tilted her head in thought. Jon raised eyebrow at his mother, I could tell whatever she said would be the deciding the factor for what was to come later when he saw the memory of Kilgarra and Dany. “I don’t know.” She said in surprise. I looked at her then back at my family as they all looked at her with horror. “Like I told you, she is a spoiled ungrateful cold hearted bitch who is only after what will please her.” I told them as Lyanna looked at me, I could tell that maybe she was wondering if what I was saying was the truth of who she was. “Alright two more memories after these ones and finally it will be all over.” I told them as Robb looked at me with a relieved look on his face. “You young lady what is your name?” I asked her, finally getting the time to ask her. She smiled at me as she wrapped her arms around Robb letting him know she here for him through all of this. I already knew they were a couple. “My name is Margaery Tyrell.” She said as I nodded my head as she smiled at me. “I’m happy this time around my nephew will have a good woman to love him and keep him straight.” I said as Robb raised an eyebrow as he opened his mouth. I placed a finger on my lips as he shook his head as we were now entering into another past.

The past

Daenerys POV

“What do you mean he dies?” I asked Kilgarra. He sighed as he looked at me wondering if he should tell me more. “Arthur Pendragon was always supposed to die, but when your mother betrayed magic she unleashed a force that we now have to prepare for.” He said as I stiffened. “The bloodraven commonly known as the three-eyed raven was created using suck magic, the children of the forest feasted off the life force of innocents to keep their powers of ice and to keep the weirwood trees growing in the world.” He explained as I looked at him paled face. I sat down on a rock taking all of this information in all at once. “They were banished from Albion for using such magic, it was forbidden for a reason. The children of the forest just didn’t care for the consequences of such practices. Now the old religion is making sure that they will go extinct even if it means doing another doom like the one Valyria suffered.” Kilgarra said as I gaped and my eyes widened in shock.

“That was the old religion?” I asked him in awe, and horror. “Balance with magic is key for all of our survival. Having too much power corrupts the mind, and having no magic at all leads to unnecessary death. The old religion is all about balance and fixing issues. So when the children took one of your ancestors who was a Stark and pierced his heart with dragon glass and turned him into the night king they sealed their fate. That is the reason you are born, you will destroy the children and the night king for good for you are true magic, you are the most powerful sorceress this world will ever see.” Kilgarra revealed. I looked at him and nodded my head. “So are you ready to begin your destiny Daenerys? Also remember that the road with Arthur ends but another road opens to your soulmate.” He asked me. I raised an eyebrow as I remembered him saying that I was supposed to be with two great men. “Who is this other great man?” I asked him as I nodded him answering his question. He chuckled as I glared at him letting him know that now was not the time. “He is known as the white wolf, lord commander, and Jon Snow, your brother who grew up with your mother.” He said as I gaped at him.

The future

“What the hell?” Jon asked me as he turned to look at Bran and then me. Catelyn stiffened as she too turned to look at her son. Robb, Sansa, Rickon, Margaery, Ned, and Benjen stood frozen in spot. “Bran had no idea of this when he agreed to become the three-eyed raven. So don’t worry we can still save him.” I told them as they nodded their heads relieved. Bran glared at me as his secret was revealed. “Thank you aunt Igraine.” Sana’a said as I nodded my head. “Wait Jon and Daenerys have to marry?” Robb asked disgusted. I shook my head as a smile spread across my lips. “They are Targaryens and they have been destined from birth by the old religion.” I told them as Jon nodded his head, he didn’t seem to be disgusted by the thought of being with his sister.

The past

Uther’s POV

“Are you sure this is right?” A woman wearing a grey fur cloak and a hood was over her head. “This is what is right for them.” I said as I pointed at Viserys who had tear stained tracks on his cheeks as he held his baby brother. She turned to look at the children and gasped. “Viserys.” She said with affection as Viserys finally looked up with hope gleaming in his eyes as he jumped from his pony and ran over to the hood covered woman. He hugged her tightly, “Aunt Ashara your alive.” He said as more tears rolled down his cheeks. She sighed as she then pulled her hood from off her head, her black hair cascaded down her back and her purple eyes met mine. She held two babies in her arms, I knew they were Ned’s.

“You will be able to keep this to yourself without telling Ned that me and our children are alive?” She asked me as I sighed and looked at her. I could tell that she had no idea what her husband did to my family. “As of right now, Ned Stark is as good as dead to me. For what he did to my son and wife.” I told her as her purple eyes narrowed on me. “Why haven’t you told your husband that your alive?” I asked her as she sighed and turned away from me. “He knows, but he wanted Catelyn so he asked me to fake my death.” Ashara said bitterly. I raised an eyebrow at her though after what he did to his own family this does not surprise me. “You, your children and the Targaryen children will come with me to Albion were you all will be safe from Ned and Robert.” I told her as she nodded her head relieved she wouldn’t have to go to Essos. “What about Ned?” Ashara asked me as I began walking towards my ship. “We will tell him when the time is right.” I told her as she nodded her head as Viserys and his sleeping brother followed behind me as he held Ashara’s hand.

The future

Ned paled as Catelyn choked on her water that she had just drank. Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, Rickon, and Jon gaped realizing that their father and uncle had two wives. “Yes, Ned She is still alive and your children are serving Arthur on his round table.” Uther told him honestly. Ned glared over at Uther as he tried to think of what to say. “That makes sense why no one knew what happened to Queen Rhaella’a children.” Benjen said as he turned to look at me. “Uther decided that he was no longer playing a game when it came to protecting our daughter’s family both of them.” I told Ned to explain. “Why didn’t you tell me about Ashara and the children?” Ned asked me angry. I sighed as I walked over to him, “honestly because of what you did to me, is part of it but also the old religion wanted all of this to be revealed now.” I told him as he sighed like I v the fact that I was being honest.

The past

Daenerys POV

“Damnit Arthur Pendragon!” I shouted at him. He sighed as I grabbed a vase off the table near my bed as I threw it above his head. He jumped and looked at me wide eyed. “Have you ever thought that it is you I want and no one else?” I asked him as I stepped into his personal space. I began to poke at his chest, as I looked at him with fire in my eyes. “How dare you decide for me that we never love each other!” I shouted at him again as he stepped back from me. I stepped again to face him to see what he had to say for himself. “We have such little time and you would want me to live in this world with the memory of being a jerk and a cheat rather than spend what time you have left with love?” I asked as tears rushed down my cheeks. He didn’t say anything as I nodded my head and I stepped back defeated. “You win go bang Vivian or whatever he name is I’m done.” I said as I turned and walked to the door to our chambers. I opened the door and walked down the hallway as I finally made it to my unused chambers as tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably as my vision blurred making it hard to see anything as I slid down the wall to the cold hard floor. “Dany open the door.” Arthur begged. Sobs broke out of my mouth as my body began to wrack with tears as I realized this was it and my love was not matched. The door opened as Arthur gasped at the sight of me bowling my eyes out on the floor. Arthur closed the door and pulled me into his arms, “I didn’t mean that Daenerys. I’m sorry. I was trying to protect us.” He said as I scoffed at him as I pulled myself from his arms. “To protect you.” I said as he sighed and nodded his head. He looked at me for a second as he then stepped closer to me and leaned down and placed his lips against mine.

Chapter Text

Igraine’s POV

I sighed as I looked at my family still trying to figure out how to process all the information they had just witnessed. “How long ago did that fight occur?” Jon asked curious. I smiled at him sadly, “About five years ago.” I said as I remembered that time fondly. Jon nodded his head, I could tell he was trying to figure what he had been doing five years ago, “I believe that was right around the time you lost Yigrette.” I told him as he looked at me in shock. Then he paled as he realized it had been that long ago. “What you are all about to see happened just two weeks before you all got here.” I told them. Robb raised an eyebrow at me as he wondered what I was talking about. Sansa paled and the rest realized maybe there was a death scene coming up.

The past

Daenerys POV

Arthur stood behind me as we fought off the last of Mordred’a forces. Mordred was closing in on us, I could not allow Arthur to get separated from me as I stabbed another man in the chest, I pulled sword from his heart and my arms were starting to tire from all the fighting. I sighed as I chanted a spell it healed my soreness and took away my tiredness as I swung my sword again into the arm of the other soldier. He cried out in pain as he fell to his knees, “You are too late Emrys. He is already dying.” The soldier cackled at me. I stiffened as I turned and looked at were my husband was supposed to be. Panic filled me when I realized he was gone, I sighed and swung my sword once again to stop his cackling.

I ran through the crowd of soldiers as I used what remained of my energy for magic and killed them all, I came around a bend of rocks and froze. Arthur had his hand on Mordred’a shoulder, the closer I got the worse of a bad feeling I got. “Come back to Camelot with me. Morgana loves you and wants to be her husband.” Arthur pleaded with his once best friend. Mordred’s grey eyes narrowed on Arthur as I paled wondering if he would kill him now. “And all would be forgiven?” Mordred asked Arthur. “Yes.” Arthur said as he looked at Mordred with sincere look in his eyes. “You are so predictable Arthur. That’s why you loss because you are your own Arthursbane.” He said as he then stabbed Arthur with his golden sword. Arthur looked at him in shock as Mordred took his sword from Arthur’s gut. Arthur fell to his knees as he continued to stare at Mordred with shock, tears fell down my cheeks, I held in a scream of rage that I so wanted to unleash.

As I crept closer to my husband’s killer, it helped that Mordred didn’t hear me coming. “You were always arrogant enough to believe that I actually loved you when in fact I was learning what I could to end your miserable life.” Mordred bragged as Arthur breathed heavily trying to keep the blood in his body. “Your weakness Mordred was never knowing when to keep an eye on your surroundings.” I said from behind him. Mordred turned around just in time for my sword that was also golden to pierce through his armor and into his chest. Mordred’s eyes widened as I looked at him with hatred in my eyes. “How?” He asked as more tears rushed down my cheeks. “You have to always be three steps ahead of your enemy.” I said as I stabbed him again as he cried out in pain. I then pulled the sword out of his body as he dropped to the ground dead. I dropped my sword to the ground and ran over to my fallen husband. I caught him before he could hit the ground, he looked at me with so much love in his blue eyes. More tears rolled down my cheeks, “Avalon can heal you.” I said as I tried to get him up.

“Just....just hold me.” He whispered as more tears fell down my cheeks as I could now blearily see. “Arthur please.” I pleaded with him, trying once more to spear some of that fight back in him. “All...I want is to lay in your arms.” He whispered again as he wheezed letting me know his time on this earth was about to end. I nodded my head as I rocked him back and forth as I pulled him into my arms fully. I began to sing in the old religion, as he smiled at me once more before his beautiful blue eyes lost its light. He was gone, a broken sob filled the air as tears fell faster down my cheeks, I held my husband to my chest tighter as I laid my face in the crock of his neck.

The future

“Damn.” Sansa said on a cry as she watched a cousin die in front of her who she would never have the chance to meet and watched the other lose her husband. Jon had a few tears roll down his cheeks as he looked at the floor, Robb balled his fists and Margaery grabbed both fists and kissed them once they were in her hands. Ned gaped and he looked a little pale. Benjen walked over to me as he pulled me into his arms, I glared at him. I shrugged him off me a hurt look appeared in his eyes but he tried again. This time I was defeated and tears rolled down my cheeks that I had been fighting this whole time. “I’m so sorry.” Lyanna said as Uther scoffed. Rickon was pale as he looked around. I sank to the floor as Benjen fell with me as a sob left my lips, “He was such a great man and he was my baby.” I said as another sob left my lips. Ned, Catelyn, Jon, Lyanna, Sansa, Rickon, Robb, and Margaery all turned and looked at me white faced now.

The past

Daenerys POV

“This was my mother’s dress. Lyanna was so jealous when mother gave it to me, well I was the first to marry so that was the reason. I would love it if you wore it today.” Igraine said nervously. She had always been my mom, even without her actually birthing me into the world. “I would love too.” I told her as she smiled at me and pulled me into a deep hug. “You and my son will be the best king and queen and I couldn’t be more proud of the both of you. I know I’m not really your mother, I love you as if you were mine and wanted to give you something else.” She said as she reached into her pouch and pulled out some other jewelry. I grabbed her hand as Igraine stopped digging and looked at me. “Anyone can be a mother, but it takes someone special to be called mom. You are my mom, Lyanna is mother dearest.” I told her as a smile appeared on her lips and tears rolled down her cheeks.

“No more tears.” I told her as she shook her head, “They are tears of joy.” She explained as she wiped the tears away. “You are a Stark as well, so this comb was very special to my mother your grandmother.” She said as she should me the comb that had jet direwolves carved into the work. I gasped as she then placed the comb in my hair, and then pulled out something else. “You are also a Targaryen, this belonged to your grandmother Rhaella.” She told me as she handed me a three headed dragon pearl necklace. “Thank you you mom.” I said as she smiled and then placed the necklace around my neck.

“Now this belonged to Uther’s mother.” Igraine said as she pulled out a veil that held a dragon on the embroidery. She placed the veil under my comb and the over my face. “Now you have all three families with you on this special day.” She told me as we then placed me in the dress. It was a long ivory dress, that had direwolves all throughout the dress. I turned and for the first time I felt like I was apart of house Stark. A knock came on the door as Uther my father stepped into the room, he would be the one to walk me down the aisle. “You look so beautiful. The second most beautiful girl in the world.” He said as he looked st me with tears in the corners of his eyes. “What about Morgana?” I asked him as I too wanted to shed some more tears. “She is number three don’t tell her.” He said teasingly. I grinned as I nodded my head, I placed my hand in his as we walked out of my chambers into the grand hall. The guards opened the double doors and we walked into the crowded room, everyone from around the kingdom was here.

I sighed as we walked passed them and my eyes finally landed Arthur as he looked at awe struck my beauty. We walked up the stairs until we were facing Arthur. Arthur grabbed my hand from Uther as we then turned to the royal sept. “We are gathered today to witness Arthur Pendragon and Daenerys Stormborn of houses Stark and Targaryen unite under holy marriage through the old religion.” He said as he grabbed two chalices from the guards. “Once they have begged each through their hearts they will drink from the chalices to become one.” The sept explained as I nodded my head. “Daenerys, you have always been right. I was running from the possibility of ya being in a love marriage for I didn’t want you to live the rest of your life sad that I was gone. But I didn’t have the right to chose for you, you are the most stubborn woman I have ever met and you help me grow to be a better man everyday.” Arthur said as he then placed a golden ring on right ring finger. “Arthur, from the time we were children and until now I always believed in the man who would be one day, you prove that not only are you the king we need but also a good man who would make a wonderful father someday. I love you and will continue proving until you die that you are a wonderful man.” I told him. He looked at me with a sad smile on his face he didn’t believe me. “Now you must drink from the chalices to become one with yourselves and the old religion.” He announced. We grabbed the chalices and began to drink it was sweet surprisingly. “Welcome King Arthur Pendragon and his wife and queen Daenerys Pendragon! Long may they reign!” He shouted as the people began to cheer.

The future

“Wow, she was so beautiful and Arthur was a good man from what I have seen.” Sansa said as I finally pulled out of my brother’s arms. I smiled at her as she pulled me into her arms, I gasped and then hugged her back. “She hates me that much?” Lyanna asked me. I sighed getting ready for whatever she was about to say, Jon sighed as he raised an eyebrow at his mother. “She doesn’t hate you but she doesn’t love you either.” Uther told her bluntly as Jon winced at his honesty. Ned looked at Uther with a look of sadness. “You turned my daughter against me.” Lyanna said in anger as she then glared at me. Uther smiled as Sansa looked at her in shock. “Where you dropped on the head as a baby?” Robb asked as I laughed loudly as Robb cracked a grin, Jon also had a smile on his face as he shook his head. “What.” Lyanna said confused. “Cause that’s the only reason I can gather from your craziness and we all know it’s only you.” Robb continued as Margaery slapped his chest as she turned red from her own laughter.

“I have to agree.” Someone said behind us. I sighed knowing that voice very well. We all turned and saw a woman that was about the same height as Lyanna but she had sliver curly hair and purple eyes, today she was wearing a silver dress with a brown fur cloak. Lyanna paled as she realized this was her youngest child Daenerys. Jon gaped seeing his sister for the first time, Robb, Rickon, Bran, Ned, Catelyn, and Sansa looked at her in shock. “Daenerys?” Lyanna asked as she turned her purple eyes onto the woman who had brought her into this world. “Yes, good to finally meet you mother.” Daenerys said she stepped up onto the platform we were all on. She turned away from her mother and looked at the others. “You must be my older brother Jon?” Daenerys asked as Jon nodded his head shy for the first time since he got here.

“I heard that you died betrayed by your men on the wall. Did they die?” She asked him seriously. Ned gaped at his niece, “No Uncle Benjen didn’t think that would be a good idea for the war against the night king.” Jon choked out. Her purple eyes turned to purple fire she turned to look at her Uncle Benjen then back at Jon. “Well, once we marry that will change. For they will have to die for our alliance to work, if Albion is to join this war.” She told him as she gaped at her. “You would save Westeros?” Jon asked in shock. “I will save Westeros some people there are worth saving.” She said as they all looked at her in shock.

The past

Daenerys POV

I cried, as I felt pain I had never felt before course through me. “What’s going on?” Arthur asked as he rushed over to me. “The baby.” I said as I fell back and the pain filled me and darkened welcome me with open arms. “She is losing so much blood.” Gaius said as I came too. I looked around me and felt more pain and began to push. I had to get this baby out of me, I thought to myself. I cried out once more and pushed as I then fell back against the sheets and pillows. I heard a baby cry as tears rolled down my cheeks. “Congrats your highness you have a beautiful baby boy.” Gaius said as he then placed the baby into my awaiting arms. His hair was silver and his eyes purple-blue, he was the perfect combination of both Arthur and I. “Rhaegon Pendragon. “ I said as Arthur nodded his head as he continued to look at the miracle we had created.

The future

“He is amazing.” Jon said as he looked at his nephew in awe. Daenerys smiled at him, she walked closer to her brother. “He is now three years old.” She told him as Jon nodded his head sadly. “How is he dealing with his father’s death?” Robb asked as Daenerys turned to look at the rest of us. She went paler and sighed, “He has the gift of the old religion so he knows better than most children his age should.” She said as we all stiffened.

Chapter Text

Daenerys

“How does he know?” Robb asked in shock like he didn’t understand how that was possible. Jon, my brother and soon to be husband also raised an eyebrow at me. “The old religion gives the gift of foresight to some of the people who is gifted with the magic. Our family, Jon had the same power. For the Targaryens for the first people the old religion created but when the people of old Valyria began to use magic for evil purposes and it consumed them the old religion decided to end the corruption by destroying them. Then the children began to use the gifts the old religion had given them for blood magic so Essos and Albion began cutting the trees of weirwood so the children had no more power. Then our mother and uncles made the old religion angry by using blood magic.” I explained as Sansa raised an eyebrow at me. Robb looked at me in confusion so did Jon.

“That doesn’t answer his question.” Sansa said as I turned my purple gaze on her. “I am getting there. So the old religion decided to unleash the night king onto Westeros deciding that the land was no longer worth saving. Wanting the land to be destroyed, but awakened the gift in three people that the old religion deemed worthy of this magic. Jon because you have Targaryen blood you also share this gift, Robb you as well, and then you Sansa as well.” I continued as my mother Lyanna looked at me in shock. “The Targaryens have always had dragon dreams and that gift passed from me to Rhaegon. That is how Rhaegon knew his father was going to die and how he knew I would marry Jon and have more children.” I explained as Jon paled. Catelyn looked at me in surprise as Ned sighed.

“Just how you knew Jon that the night king was more than he presented himself to be and you also knew that Bran wasn’t truly himself. That is the gift coming out. Soon you will be able to chant spells and defend yourself better.” I told him as he looked at me with wide eyes now. “What is my power?” Robb asked me as I turned and looked at my cousin. “Your connection with Greywind is more than that of a warging. You have a connection with all life hence why you are able to enter into his mind and soon you will find you can do so with all animals.” I told him as he gaped at me. “Sansa yours is somewhat of foresight but more with empathy and telepathy. You can feel what those around you feel and at times you know what others think around you. Once you practice this gift you will be able to read all thoughts expect those who know what you are after. You will also find that you can heal certain wounds as well. For the three of you are what will save Westeros from certain destruction.” I said as I motioned with my hand. My new found family began walking with me as we walked out of the hall and to the entrance of the temple. We walked out of the double doors the opened and walked to the castle that stood taller than Winterfell and was white. We walked up the stair, “These are our honored guests and they will be treated as such.” I said the servants who bowed and nodded their heads. Food was brought to the table of the grand hall as Jon sat next to me and they all began sitting down as plates were placed in front of us as we all began to dig into the ham and potato’s.

Jon groaned at the food taste and looked at me as I grinned. “Because I was a bastard the family never allowed me to be at feasts or have good food.” Jon explained to me as I looked over at Lyanna my mother and my uncles. “No one should ever be treated that way.” I said as Sansa shrugged her shoulders. “How are bastards treated here?” Robb asked me at seeing my shocked reaction. “If the lords have no natural born children they will inherit the lands of their father’s, or they are allowed to become a knight and prove themselves to the king so they may be granted lands that way, or they are married off to a lady to give their father more alliances. It is the father who gave into his lust that punished not the son or daughter who were born from their father’s son.” I explained as they all gaped at me. “Was it our shared mother or our Uncle Ned who sent you to the wall?” I asked as Lyanna stopped eating and gaped at me. “Our mother.” Jon said carefully. I nodded my head as our mother paled. “Makes sense. She couldn’t kill me so why not kill the other one.” I said with venom dripping with each word that left my mouth.
