Mallory would agree to marry Michael without hesitation. She felt absolutely nothing for him and he felt the same way as well. They weren't fond of each other but they had no choice. Both of them needed to prevent the apocalypse or all life on Earth would be destroyed. It was for the sake of the world while for Mallory it was for The Coven as well.
She would do anything to protect The Coven especially if it meant that Mallory would have to marry the Antichrist.
After getting married, Michael takes her to the Underworld where she will spend the rest of her life. Truth be hold, Mallory was afraid. She didn't know what to expect. Was he going to belittle and degrade her?
Michael can sense her fears and worries. She may not look like it but he can her heart beat rapidly. It did hurt him but he was not surprised. How can she not be? He was the one that could end everything with a snap of his fingers.
As he began to unbuckle his belt, Michael saw she tensed up and averted her eyes from him and looked down. Mallory grabbed a hold of her locket and twirled it between her fingers, hoping it would ease her nervousness.
"We don't have to do anything, you know,'' he told her as he took off the final piece of clothing he had on and slipped inside the covers, shifting around a bit to find a comfortable spot. "I'm not going to force you into doing something that makes you comfortable. We could just talk like husband and wife."
Taking in a deep breath, Mallory lifted her head from the ground and continued to play with her locket. She saw he was now propped up on his elbow, giving her sympathetic look as he softly patted the mattress that indicated her to come over. At first, she hesitated a little until she gave in. Mallory got onto their bed and crawled towards where his hand was then finally laid beside him.
"Now what do you want to talk about, little witch?" He asked her genuinely, giving her his full attention.
There was a brief silence until Mallory responded.
"I don't know… what's your favorite novel?" She mumbled lying down on her side as she waited for his response.
"I have a lot of favorites but if I had to choose it would be The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Now what about you, dear?"
"Well mine is 1984 by George Orwell. I know it's an obvious choice but it's always been my favorite since I was in high school."
"1984 is actually one of my favorites as well. It is an absolute classic and anyone that says differently is delusional."
A soft smile formed on her lips when she heard his response, moving a bit closer to him.
Throughout the night, both talked about odd but interesting things like conspiracy theories (which Michael had confirmed a few),
superstitions, and told each other jokes and pins that were absolutely horrible. Some of them didn't even make sense but it didn't matter. They loved it either way.
Surprisingly, both of them had a lot in common than they expected.
Both of their families had never care nor loved them like they've always wanted. They had been kicked out and banished them to ever come back or else they would face serious consequences.
The night began to come to an end when Mallory had started to become tired. As they spoke, she would mumble in an incoherent response as her eyes began to flutter until she fell into a deep slumber. Carefully, he covered her body with a blanket and kissed the top of her forehead as he placed a strand of her hair behind her ear.
He didn't sleep that night but instead watched Mallory as she slept.
She looked like a complete angel. No, she looked like a goddess.
Oh how badly Michael wanted to be inside of Mallory. Devour every inch of her body and soul but he knew that he had to wait. He didn't want to force her to do something that she didn't want to do.
Patience is a virtue.
As time passes by, both of them start to become closer than before. Such as sharing their deepest, darkest secrets that no one knew not even the Supreme herself. It was strange but they paid no attention to it.
In a way, Michael and Mallory were connected. Even though they only know each other for a short period of time. Somehow, it seemed like they were meant to be together.
This did not bother Mallory one bit. She had started to fall for him. It was quite unexpected. Never did she thought that she would be in love with a man such as himself.
When she had confessed to him, Michael was absolutely shocked. How such pure and innocent little soul be in love with him? He never thought that he was capable of being loved.
To be honest, Michael was reluctant in expressing his love towards her. It was the constant paranoia that kept telling him that she wouldn't love him or ever will. The fear of rejection was what prevented him from telling her how much he adored her. But he could no longer hide his true emotions.
From there on, both of them would spend the rest of their days by each other's side as they cherished each and every moment that is created.
