Chapter One: It's a Boy!

"Mmm, yes. I believe Luhan will be a great match for Taemin." A middle aged man nodded.

"How about Jihoon and Kangmin?" Another ask3d.

"Hell no. Kangmin would suffocate Hoon in his sleep." The older sighed heavily.

It fell silent for a long moment. "We should clean up and let the parents know Tomorrow after supper of the arrangement." The elder, Hongbin, said.

"Yes, sir." The middle aged man, Eungi, nodded. "We must take shelter before the storm hit. Make sure everyone is in their burrows within the hour. Come, Jimin, Taehyung. Time for bed." He held his hands out to his twin sons.

The two three year olds yawned and waddled over, each leaning against a strong leg for support.

He carefully picked them up and walked out from the underground room used for meetings.

He made it up onto the grass, already able to hear the angry waves and see the trees sway from the winds. It was going to be a nasty one.

He sighed seeing his people flee into their underground homes, taking shelter from the oncoming storm.

He heard a cry and paused, looking around.

Jimin, the slightly older twin, pointed. "Appa! Appa babies!" He squealed, letting go to clumsily walk over.

"Jimin!" He hissed, situating Tae on his hip and following his other son. "Jimin! We must go inside! I'm sure his carrier is near-" he stopped mid word.

"Appa, he smells icky...." Jimin scrunched his nose.

Eungi stared for a long moment, watching the baby in the basket cry and squirm.

The cries were high, a rattle to them as the bare child shivered. There was a piece of thick thread across the small, pale stomach. On a string was an emblem. He was from the Alpha Tribe.

"Oh... He’s cold!" Jimin reached out.

"Jimin, no!" He grasped the others wrist, pulling him up. "Leave him." He scooped his son up, turning to leave.

"No!" Jimin and Taehyung both shrieked and struggled, rain drips starting to fall.

"Stop! Stop!"

"Eungi! What’s going on?!" His mate, Sungwoo rushed over. He stopped and gasped. "Oh my god!" He ran to the basket, scooping up the shivering infant.

"Sungwoo leave him!"

"What the fuck did you just say?!" He barked. "I am not leaving an infant to die in a storm, you asshole!"

"He’s part of the Alpha Tribe!" He hissed, holding his sons close.

Sungmin walked over, holding the squirming child close as the rain began to pour down, winds starting to pick up. "You listen here." He growled out. "It’s not his fault he was born into that tribe and it’s not his fault he is in a basket on our shores! He’s a fucking baby, Eungi! Is the man I mated really so heartless as to leave an innocent baby to die a slow, horrible death?!"

His breath hitched. He looked at his sobbing sons, his distressed omega and the wailing infant. He sighed. He put his sons down. "Go with Appa and the baby. I'm going to grab his basket. Keep him warm!" He said the last thing to his mate.

He gave a teary eyed nod, quickly ushering his children inside.

Eungi sighed, picking up the wet basket and heading to his underground home. "This is going to bite me in the ass. I just know it."

He headed in, hearing the whimpering sounds of the baby. He walked over, stripping off his wet clothes and hanging them on a line in the small area.

His two little ones were already bare and snuggled into the furs, watching sleepily as their Appa gently rocked the infant and sang. He held him close, wrapped up in soft furs.

Eungi couldn’t help the smile. He sat in their nest and leaned over, kissing his mates cheek. "I always loved seeing you hold babies." He whispered.

Sungwoo returned the smile and leaned against him. "Was there anything in the basket besides the necklace?" He asked softly, nodding to the jewelry next to the nest.

He frowned, pulling the basket over. "A very wet blanket..." He took it out. "Oh... Bottles..." He pulled out the bottles of breast milk. "Huh... They really do spoil the Alphas out there." He murmured. He placed them aside, Sungwoo taking one to feed the baby.

Eungi paused when he found a note in an empty bottle. He pulled it out, unraveling it.

Anarchy has risen in the Alpha Tribe.

I fear for my son's life.

Please, whoever you may be, look after my baby Jungkook. He is but two months, born on the first of September.

Please keep him safe.

He is an innocent in all of this.

Thank you.

Eungi reread it out loud, turning to his mate. He saw the tear slip down his cheek and frowned, reaching out to wipe it away.

For the first time, large dark eyes fluttered open, looking around the room as he turned his head, no longer hungry.

"What will we do?" Sungwoo asked quietly as he rocked the sleepy infant.

The older sighed heavily. "We raise him as one of us. We will teach him the ways of the omega. When he comes of age for his rut..." He sighed. "We will cross that bridge when we get there. For now... Let’s get him clean and keep him warm." He said softly, looking at the now asleep baby. "Looks like I have a new son. How the hell are we going to fool the others..?"

"Give me a week with him. I don’t leave home much. Tell them I had complications with my pregnancy and we were scared I would lose him, so we kept it a secret." He gently played with the hair on the small head. "We will lie and say he was a big baby. We will tell them he was born today. No one heard the labor because of the storm."

The older nodded. "Alright. So..." He looked down, sighing. "Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook." He looked to his mate. "Do we keep his name?"

"Yeah." He nodded with a fond smile. "I like it. My little Jungkookie."

"Boys! Dinner!" Sungwoo called out.

Three boys looked up from their activity next to the water. "I gots a fishie!"

"Good job, Jungkookie!" His Appa beamed as the small boy held the wiggling creature. "My good little hunter!"

"I got a apple!" Tae piped in, grinning. "I fought off the deadly Baboo!" He waved a stick around, making 'swish' noises.

Jimin snickered. "Please, Jungkook scared the cat away, not you."

"Shh! He said I could take credit!" He huffed, thumping over to their home.

"Kookie, honey, put the fish in the basket for Appa to cook later." He pointed to their water bucket, the five year old rushing over and dropping it in.

There was a loud whine that ripped through the forest, startling them.

"Shit. Taemin's started his heat early." Sungmin sighed heavily. He looked at his sons, frowning. "Your Appa is still hunting so you'll have to come with me… just… don't watch. I don't want you watching until you're older." He motioned the three boys to follow.

"Sungwoo! Taemin's heat!" One of the men came running over.

"I know. I'm headed there now. Go fetch water for him." The other ran off. "Quickly boys!" He hissed. "I can already smell hi-oh… Jungkook?" He turned when a quiet growl was heard. He looked at his smallest, seeing the glare on the still chubby face. "Kookie… what's wrong?"

He sniffed the air and shook his head. "I don't wanna." He crossed his arms defiantly.

Sungwoo sighed. "Jungkook, not now. Let's go."

Jimin huffed and reached over to grasp his wrist and pull him along. A loud yelp left him followed by a wail, the smaller practically snarling.

Sungwoo's eyes widened and he quickly scooped Jimin up, inspecting the bleeding wrist. "Jungkook!" He gasped, horror running through him.

Taehyung hid behind one of his legs, peeking out from behind his hip as Jimin whimpered and the smaller continued to growl.

Whispers were heard, Taemin's desperate cries filling the area.

"What's going on?!" Eungi came rushing over. "Jungkook! Your mouth is bleeding!"

"No… it's not." Sungwoo said quietly.

The older turned, seeing his whimpering child and the frightened Taehyung. His eyes closed, a sigh leaving him. "Shit. Go to Taemin… bring the boys… I'll take Jungkook back home to help me prepare the food for dinner." He reached down, picking the smallest up.

Almost as if a trance had been broken, Jungkook startled. "Appa?" He stared before smiling and flopping against him.

Sungwoo watched with worry before taking his sons with him to tend to Taemin.

Eungi went into their underground home and placed Jungkook in their nest.

"Appa! I gots a fish!" He pointed, the older giving a weary smile. "That's good, Kookie… Appa needs to have a talk with you." He sighed, sitting beside him. He reached over, wiping the bit of blood off the other's lips. "Jungkook… why did you bite Jimin?"

The smaller frowned, fidgeting. "I… I didn't mean it! I didn't want to go to the smelly place and he grabbed me! I didn't mean to!" his eyes watered.

"Shh, it's alright. You will apologize when he comes back." He said softly, getting a nod. He handed over the food Sungwoo had prepared, frowning. "I didn't think the aggression would start so young." He said softly.

Jungkook furrowed his brows, not quite understanding. He chewed slowly, listening as his father mumbled about needing a plan. For what, he didn't know.

Later that night, after they had eaten and the three had their baths in the sea, Eungi and Sungwoo sat their three sons down.

"Today Jungkook had a bit of an… outburst." He said softly, Jimin looking at his bandaged arm. Jungkook wrapped his arms around him, hugging his big brother in apology. "Jungkook is a bit… different." He sighed, unsure of how to go about this.

"Sometimes Jungkook might act out. He may seem strange for an omega. But we just need to teach him. Okay?" Sungwoo got nods, the smallest frowning heavily. "There's nothing wrong with you, okay?" He reassured, the other nodding and sniffling. "We will teach you how to hide your aggression and everything will be fine. I promise." He reached out, running his hand through soft, damp hair. "Now, curl up for bed, boys." He tucked his sons in, turning to his mate after. "Eungi… what are we going to do?"

The older sighed heavily. "I don't know, Sungwoo. When he's a bit older we will tell him the truth… but for now… we train him like any other omega. We treat him no different."

The younger sighed but nodded. "Alright, hon. If you're sure."

"I am." He kissed his temple, sliding into the bed with his arm stretched out for his mate to curl in. "Don't stress so much."

For the most part, Jungkook had gained control over his aggressive instincts. For the most part. There was an incident, however, when he was ten and his brothers were twelve. Some of the boys from their tribe started to pick on Jimin. Taehyung and Jungkook had both grown taller than the eldest. Not by much, but enough for the other kids to notice.

Jungkook had been standing at the water's edge with a spear, helping his father, Eungi, and a few other boys, catch fish.

Sungwoo was the head medic in their area and often had to deal with things like heats and head injuries from falls. Eungi was the head hunter. Jungkook, it was decided, would be the one to take over for his Appa when the time came. Jimin would take place for Sungwoo, and Taehyung would become the new watcher. The water looked after the children during the day, teaching them things like how to properly weave baskets. Which he was damn well amazing at.

Anyways, Jungkook heard a thump and an 'oof.' When he turned he saw Jimin in the dirt, hands braced by his face, trying to shield it as one of the others laughed and threw mud clumps at him.

A growl built up deep in his chest, raising in volume. He slowly stood tall, his shoulders squared and chest slightly puffed.

Eungi looked at him and his eyes widened. "Jungkook, no!"

The smaller lunged. His hands made contact with the other kid's shoulders, sending him soaring and into the dirt. When another ran up to try and push Jungkook, he swung the spear.

A loud pained yelp filled the area followed by a wail.

"Jungkook!" Sungwoo yelled angrily, rushing over to the kid on the ground that was holding his temple.

The blunt end of Jungkook’s spear had made contact, nearly splintering the weapon. He stood protectively over Jimin, growling and snarling, his canines barred.

That incident was hard to explain to the elders. They used the excuse of Jungkook being very close to Jimin and fearing his safety… but in reality they knew the truth. They knew his Alpha side was starting to burst through. And neither knew what to do.

If they said anything, they would take their son away. But if they didn't… They glanced at their sleeping sons, the three sharing their own separate nest apart from their parents. Taehyung and Jimin still shared their own… but Jungkook had to be separated.

They could no longer keep the three together. Jungkook’s Alpha instincts were becoming too strong.
