I never knew there were so many adaptations of Sherlock Holmes! I think it's neat that you also tagged this with Sherlock Holmes and The Peerless Peer (1974). It's not too common that modern fic writers here are aware of Philip Jose Farmer and his plethora of Tarzan crossovers with other famous literary heroes. Thank you for sharing this video.
Thanks so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed it! And I'm sorry I wasn't able to include more than one illustration from Farmer's book!
I heard about Farmer's Peerless Peer from my friend Sanguinity, who got a kick out of reading it and who just generally loves to collect obscure adaptations of Sherlock Holmes. Her vid Something Good (Will Come From That) showcases about 50 more Holmes adaptations than mine does. There's truly a rich and varied archive out there when you have a character like Holmes who's had over 100 years to spark different imaginings from all around the world, and I'm sure the same is true of Tarzan! Thanks again for stopping by to watch the vid and for your kind message :)
Okay this was supercool and I loved it But i was so thrown off at first cause I'm only familiar with Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century Not 23rd Wow Kind of weird that they'd both be a thing
Yay, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! There are SO MANY weird funky little Holmes adaptations, lol! :)
I know, right?!!? It is both charming and truly weird that there's a Sherlock Holmes adaptation set in both the 22nd and 23rd century, completely unrelated to each other.
