Chapter Text

It was a typical evening at Yoongi's penthouse apartment. He found himself lazing around on the patio with his laptop  as his only company. It was around seven and usually he'd be starting dinner but he was having trouble writing lyrics. Yoongi was a producer at BitHit's entertainment industry and had been since he was eighteen years old, being the youngest producer in the company came with its share of troubles but as Bang PD as his advisor he overcame them. Now at 26 he's shareholder and making songs for idols everywhere. Closing his laptop he laid his head back against the chair and closed his eyes. Soon drifting off to sleep. It wasn't long before he felt a hand carding through his hair. Cracking open one eye he found Jungkook staring down at him with tired eyes. "Hey Love, I didn't hear you come in."

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked straddling his partners waist.

Yoongi's hands came to rest on Jungkook's waist. "Just having trouble writing, how was work?"

"Not to bad, we had some strays come in but nothing else exciting." Jungkook attended college during the day and had a night job at an animal shelter. He laid his head on Yoongi's chest.

"I wish you would just quit that job and let me take care of you." Yoongi says.

"You do take care of me but I like working there and helping the animals." Jungkook says. It was hard juggling both work and school but he somehow managed to make it work. Despite the naysayers who told him otherwise. "I'm so tired though."

"Sorry love." Yoongi says running his hands up and down the youngers back. "I've been so preoccupied with writing that I didn't make any dinner."

"s'ok, I'm not all that hungry anyway." Jungkook sat up and pulled out his phone. "Wow, it's so beautiful out." He started taking pictures of the half lit skies and buildings below. "I'm running out of space on my phone. I've been meaning to get these photos taken off but I keep forgetting."

Yoongi laughed before turning slightly to pick up a small bag. He sat the bag on his lap and placed his hands behind his head. "I got something for you."

Jungkook lowered his phone and eyed the bag. A small smile appearing on his face. "What's the occasion?"

"Can't I just buy you something nice." Yoongi replied.

"Sure you can." He sat his phone on the small table besides him and pulled out the object in the bag. It was a camera. "Oh my god."

"Your little talent hasn't gone unnoticed." Yoongi sat his laptop on the table and sat up in his seat.

"I can't...its too much." Jungkook went to put the camera back in the bag but Yoongi stopped him.

"Hey, I want you to have this." Yoongi says. "I've seen your photos and they're really good. Plus those little videos you edit in my studio are amazing too. You have something and I want you to explore that."

Jungkook smiled. "I think you just like spoiling me."

"That too."

Jungkook leans forward and presses their lips together. Yoongi tightens his hold around him as they got lost in each other's lips. As he pulled away he picked up the camera and turned it in. "Thank you, not just for this but for always taking care of me. For bringing me into your home and giving me so much love."

Yoongi smiled. "You never have to thank me for that love, I'll always be here to take care of you."

Jungkook smiled and pointed the camera at Yoongi. "Smile." Yoongi did and he snapped the picture. He took a few more pictures of Yoongi before taking some of the beautiful night. When he had a good amount he looked back at his partner to find him half asleep. "Come on, you're going to get a sore back sleeping out here." The two grabbed their things and headed back inside and to the bedroom. Yoongi pulled off his sweats and climbed under the covers. To tired to shower Jungkook stripped down and joined him under the covers. Laying his head on Yoongi's chest they wrapped their arms around each other. "Night."

"Night Love."

The next morning Yoongi woke up to find Jungkook straddling his waist, camera in hand. "What are you doing?" He grumbles out.

"You look so cute when you sleep you know that." Jungkook lowered his camera momentarily just to kiss Yoongi before hitting the record button. "This is Jungkook here, staring down at the love of my life. Two years of nothing but beautiful memories together." He lowered the camera to show Yoongi's chest. Stopping at his waist line before moving it back up to his face. "Daddy's so hot." With his free hand he ran it up and down Yoongi's bare chest as he slowly rocked back and forth. "So sexy."

Yoongi cocked an eyebrow. His hands coming up to grip Jungkooks's hips to stop him from moving. "Are you trying to make a sex tape here Guk?"

"No, I just want to film my daddy." Jugkook stopped the recording before moving to lay next to him. "I got some pictures of the sunrise." He spent the next ten minutes showing Yoongi all the pictures he took that morning.

"How did you take so many photos already?"

Jungkook just shrugged. "Come on I made you breakfast." Camera in hand he got up and pulled Yoongi up with them and they made their way to the kitchen.

Yoongi was busy devouring the bacon and eggs that Jungkook made to notice the younger once again with the camera in his hands. When he finally looked up he only shook his head. "I swear you're going to fill that storage within a week."

"Well I'll just invest in multiple photo albums." Jungkook says continuing with his photos.

"Serously, you need to eat before you leave for school." Yoongi says placing his spoon down. "Don't make me set a time for when you're allowed to use it."

Pouting Jungkook placed the camera next to his plate and sat down. "Are you going to the studio today?"

Yoongi nodded. "I probably won't be home until late."

Jungkook nodded, Youngi had been working from home for the past week and he loved having him home whenever he got off of work. Whenever he's called in the studio though he's never home until after one. He didn't notice that he was picking at his food until Yoongi's voice stops him. "Huh."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "Jungkook, you know I hate it when you do that?"

'Jungkook' That usual meant he was in trouble. "Sorry." He couldn't help how sometimes he got lost in his own head, his own thoughts. He felt himself start to drift off again but stopped himself, not wanting Yoongi to get upset again.

"What's going on in your head?" Yoongi asked.

Jungkook chewed on the inside of his cheeks. "I just...I don't like being home alone that's all. I know it's your job and that's important but I feel so alone when you're not here with me. I know it's stupid."

"It's not stupid." Yoongi says. "But I am sorry, this isn't something I can get out of. My deadline is coming up and I'm clueless about what to write. Namjoon is going to help."

Jungkook couldn't help but frown at the mention of Namjoon. He was another producer that he's only met a few times but every time he's been in the same room with him he was plastered over Yoongi. Talking about music, lyrics, idols and other stuff music related things. It made him jealous that he would never have that special of a connection with Yoongi.

"Jungkook you're doing it again." Yoongi says. "Are you trying to upset me?"

Jungkook's eyes grew when he noticed that Yoongi was right next to him. Leaning on the table with one hand while the other gripped his chin, forcing him to look up. ""

"Then why don't you answer me when I'm talking to you?" Yoongi asked, slightly irritated at being ignored once again. "Do you want to be punished."

"No...I'm sorry." Jungkook says quickly. "I'm sorry that I keep getting lost in my head. I don't mean to it just happens sometimes. Please don't be upset with me."

"I'm not upset okay, just tell me what's going on."

Jungkook sighs. "I just wish I had that special if a connection with you. You and Namjoon have music and you're so alike. I just want to have something like that with you."

"But you have something so much better, you have my heart and that's something no one else will ever have." Yoogni leans down and kissed Jungkook on the nose before cradling the side of his face with his hand. "Stop thinking so much."

Jungkook nodded. "Sorry."

"Come on and eat up." Yoongi says."I don't want you going into class on an empty stomach."

Jungkook nodded as the two of them finished eating together. An hour later Jungkook left for school. When he got to the university he headed right to the music room and saw his friend Taehyung tuning the piano. "Hey Tae."

"Hey, how's your sugar daddy doing?" Tae teased.

"Shut up, you're just mad that you don't have one." He had been friends with Tae since grade school. He met Yoongi through the animal shelter/clinic after he hit a stray dog on his way home. Not long after that he started taking to Yoongi. The two of them became the most important people in his life and they were all he had. They were his family.

"Earth to Kookie." Tae says waving his hands in front of his face.

"Sorry." Jungkook replied.

Yoongi was busy in his studio when his doorbell sounded. Looking at the camera he saw his friend Namjoon and got up to let him in. "What's up man?" He headed back over to his seat and Namjoon followed him.

"Hey, how's it going?" He pulled up another chair and sat next to him.

"It's going but I can't seem to find the right lyrics for it." Yoongi pulled out an ear piece and held it out for his friend. "Here listen to what I have so far and see if you have any ideas."

Namjoon moved in closer and the two played over the track a few times. After going back and fourth for at least an hour they found somewhat decent lyrics but they still felt it was missing something. "I'm lost." He says.

Yoongi tapped his pen on the table a few times before burying his face in his hands. "This is so frustrating, the deadline is coming up so fast."

"I think you have something good here though." Namjoon says. "You just need to stop thinking so much, maybe go out."

"I can't afford to go out Joon." Yoongi says. "I've never missed a deadline since I've been here and I'm not about to miss one now."

Namjoon nodded. "Well I'm free so I can stay late and help you some more. Maybe we can figure something out."

Yoongi nodded. "Thanks."

"Oh I almost forgot, we got two new trainees, their both singers." Namjoon says. "I've heard them on tape, their really good. He wants us to meet them and show them around. It seems like they'll be working with us a lot."

"You go ahead, I just need to figure out what's missing on this track." Namjoon nodded and headed out. A few moments later though he was interrupted again by his door bell. This time is was one of the dance trainees. Hoseok. He didn't really talk to the dance trainees much but Hosoek never seem to leave him alone. Getting up he opened the door.

"Hey Hyung, what are you doing?" Hoseok asked swaying back and fourth on his feet.

"Just working on a track." Yoongi says. "How was practice?"

"It was good." Hoseok says. "Can I come in?"

Yoongi never understood why Hoseok liked to hang around while he was working but he usually would just sit and watch. "Yeah, come on in." He went back to his computer while Hosoek sat on the couch in the back. "So have you met the two new trainees, their singers. Park Jimin and Kim Seokjin."

Yoongi just hummed in response.

"Hyung can I ask you something?" Hoseok asked and Yoongi once again hummed in response. "Can you teach me how to rap like you?"

Yoongi pausd and turned around. "What, you want me to teach you how to rap?"

Hoseok nodded. "I don't just want to be a back dancer my whole life. I've been watching you and Namjoon since day one and I've done nothing but look up to you two."

"How long have you been thinking about this?" Yoongi asked.

"About two months." Hoseok asked. "So...will you and Namjoon help me?"

Yoongi shook his head as he turned back to his computer. "I'll talk to Namjoon about it."

Hoseok smiled and moved to sit on the floor next to Yoongi.

It was after eleven when Hoseok finally left, leaving him alone with Namjoon. The two went over the track a few more times and were finally able to find out what was missing. After that Namjoon headed home himself, leaving Yoongi alone. He began working on another song, a personal one that he's been working on for himself. He didn't know how much he had spent there but when he finally tore his eyes away from the screen he saw that it was almost three in the morning. "Shit." He quickly saved his work and gathered his things before heading home. When he got there he wasn't surprised to find Jungkook sleeping on the couch. A thin blanket covering his body. There were books and papers scattered around on the table. Sighing he removed his shoes and jacket before making his way over to him. He picked him up bridal style and carried him to the bedroom. Going back to the living room he began to put his things back into Jungkook's bookbag. Once he was done he went back to the bedroom to find Jungkook awake. "Go back to sleep." He began to remove his clothes. Jungkook groaned and grabbed his head.
"Rough night."

"You could say that, I've been up all night trying to figure this school stuff out but it's getting really hard. I was waiting up for you but fell asleep."

"I'm sorry, I need to learn to not let myself get caught up in my work." Yoongi says leaning against the door. "Why didn't you call?"

Jungkook got out of the bed and wrapped his arms around Yoongi. "I wanted to call but you've been struggling with this deadline and I didn't want to disturb you."

Yoongi hugged him back. "Well I finished the song with the help of Namjoon so I don't have to go to the studio tomorrow. You don't have school tomorrow either so we can do something before you go to work later. Or you can just call out and spend the whole day with me."

"As tempted as that sounds I don't want to leave Tae short handed. But I'll take you up on that first offer." Jungkook says moving away, pulling Yoongi with him. "Come on let's go to bed." He climed into the bed and Yoongi got in behind him. Arms immediately going around his waist. "Love You."

Yoongi kissed Jungkook on the neck. "Love you too."
