Personality:

As a child North was a very inquisitive child and would often find herself in sticky situations. Unlike Loki, North despised her studies and would often sneak away to play with her own ice powers.

She and Loki had an extremely strong bond, sharing a telepathic link that they would frequently talk through to keep from Thor, who both liked to torment and trick. Even so North's relationship with Thor was better then his with Loki as she had no desire or even thought about taking the throne of Asgard. Both brothers felt incredibly protective of North, ad both were heartbroken at the loss of her, Loki especially felt the loss of his twin sister, believing part of him died that day too.

With Hydra North became a dangerous, silent and emotionless pet. Whether she actually feels or if they destroyed that remains a mystery.

Bio:

"The Casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?"

"No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple and I found two babies. Small for giant's offspring. Abandoned, suffering, left to die. Laufey's children." ―Loki and Odin

North and Loki were born on Jotunheim as the children of the Frost Giant King, Laufey. Small and weak for Frost Giants, the twins were abandoned by their father in a temple where they were expected to die. In 965 A.D., not long after the war between the Giants and the Asgardians, the twins were found by King Odin. Adopting the two children and using sorcery to alter their appearance to make their appear to be an Asgardian, Odin raised Loki, North and his biological son, Thor, with his wife Frigga.

When speaking to his two sons and his daughter within his Treasure Room regarding the future of the throne, Odin attempted to teach the three of them to value peace above war while dealing with all of their enemies. As Thor and Loki insisted that they would both be ready to become King of Asgard, Odin noted that only one of them would be able to take the throne. Odin turned then to find North trying to pull the Infinity Gauntlet off it's stand to play with, he'd chuckled and pulled her way teasing that one day her inquisitive mind would get her into trouble she would not be able to get out of.

Odin was right and North's inquisition is what lead to North sneaking away from Asgard to explore Midgard and lead to her being captured by the Worshippers of Hive who believed her to be a gift sent by Hive to aid them in bringing him back to Earth. She was subdued, easy considering she was barely out of her youth, she was chained, collared and muzzled and would remain that way for centuries. Somehow this collar, covered in Kree runes blocks her from Heimdall's sight.

She would become one of Hydra's most dangerous and prolific tutors, training the likes of the Winter Soldiers including Bucky Barnes and recruits of the Red Room including Natasha Romanoff and Madame B.

She would eventually be handed over to Red Skull and become known as his prize pet, silent, dangerous and deadly. It is presumed she was his 'personal' pet too.

In March 1945, the United States Armed Forces bravely attacked the HYDRA Headquarters. After a brief battle which killed many HYDRA soldiers, North had successfully captured Captain America. Rogers was brought before Schmidt to be questioned and later executed by him personally, which delighted Red Skull.

When Schmidt asked Rogers what made him so special that Abraham Erskine had given him so much, Rogers answered that it was nothing, he was just a kid from Brooklyn. This mockery angered Schmidt, who punched Rogers several times, causing Rogers to drop to his knees. Schmidt prepared to execute Rogers but at the same moment, the Allied troops under Colonel Chester Phillips, Agent Peggy Carter and the Howling Commandos stormed the HYDRA Headquarters and fired upon Schmidt, North and his soldiers.

During the chaos, Schmidt then escaped with North while Captain America was rescued and reunited with his own shield. During the fight, Schmidt picked up a Tesseract-powered gun and used it to then kill several American soldiers before the overwhelming forces pushed him back. North protected her master and stayed ahead of Captain America and threw several ice shard at him, all of which were deflected on his shield. While Schmidt's own soldier held Rogers back, Schmidt grabbed North and ran to the Valkyrie. He locked away the Tesseract and prepared to initiate his attack on the United States. During the launch, Red Skull noticed that Chester Phillips and Peggy Carter had taken his car and were chasing him down across the runway, allowing Captain America to get on board the plane just moments before it took off.

Having taken out his guards, Rogers climbed on the outside of one of the HYDRA Parasit and threw out the pilot before taking control of it himself. Schmidt had tried and failed to shoot him out of the sky but Rogers managed to dodge the shots before crash landing the bomb back into the plane; he got out and made his way into the cockpit where he was confronted by North. Emotionless and deadly she attacked.

Rogers managed to gain the upper hand and managed to wound North.

While Captain America explored the cockpit with his Shield raised, Schmidt waited for him to walk carefully over to the plane's controls while he was searching for him before Schmidt attempted to shoot him in the back with a HYDRA Assault Rifle. However, Rogers just heard the gun charging up and was able to deflect the shot just in time. With one of the plane's windows now shattered, the frustrated Schmidt then mocked Rogers' constant refusal to give up.

They engaged in a fist fight with Schmidt gaining the upper hand by taking Rogers' shield and striking him with it. Landing several other body shots as well due to his previous excessive combat experience as he furiously attempted to defeat Captain America once and for all. When the pair crashed into the controls, the plane spiralled out of control and the pair continued to fight while they were thrown across the room, with Schmidt able to kick Rogers across the plane.

North, injured and clutching her stomach, managed to drag herself to the controls and regained control of the ship.

Schmidt managed to reach his gun and fired at Rogers who took cover while attempting to regain his shield. As the Red Skull continued firing his HYDRA Pistol at the super soldier, he began mocking him that he could have had the power of the gods, and claiming that HYDRA would create a future where there were no flags and HYDRA would rule everything without challenge.

Captain America defiantly told Red Skull this would not be his future and managed to avoid his continued shots before he threw his shield at Schmidt with great force, knocking him back and also managing to damage the Tesseract Cradle which was containing the Tesseract. In the panic of the moment, Schmidt grabbed the Tesseract, but to his horror, the object then opened a portal and launched Schmidt into it. Schmidt could only scream in pain and rage as he watched the flesh from his hand burning away before he disappeared inside the portal, vanishing from the face of the Earth seemingly forever.

Rogers moved tot he controls and finds North seemingly slumped dead over them, pushing her body out the way Rogers began to pilot the Valkyrie and desperately attempted to fly it away from the United States. However, he quickly realized that the plane was going too fast and the landing controls had been damaged. When the ship finally crashed, it left Rogers trapped and preserved in the ice.

North somehow survived her injuries and the crash and emerged from the hole in the ice pulling herself out of the freezing waters and to her feet.

She was recaptured by Hydra soon after.

Her care would eventually be taken over by Zola and then by Hydra masked as SHIELD where she would be held in a secret, secure location, that only a number of trusted Hydra heads know about.

Over the years she and The Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) were involved in a sexual relationship. Post-mission he would be taken to her to 'wind down' before being put on ice. (She'd lay with him after and whispers in Runic in his ear - it usually kept him calm when they came to take him again)

- Bucky will claim that the soldier did care for her, in his own way.

Now Hydra is dead, the staff at her facility dwindling, she's wilting, fading.

Loki now on Earth with his adoptive brother Thor starts to have visions of a cold, damp, dark place filled with fear and pain. He thinks he's going mad, not even considering that his twin sister is mentally reaching out to him, believing her dead and long gone.

Powers and Abilities:

As a Frost Giant and Laufey's daughter, North possesses superhuman attributes such as abnormal strength, speed, agility, durability, stamina and reflexes and is a powerful combatant.

Powers:

North, as a Frost Giant, has many superhuman attributes common among the Jotuns, except to a higher degree.

Frost Giant Physiology: Since North has been enchanted to look like an Asgardian, North's Frost Giant features only came out when she is in contact with Frost Giant magic. As Laufey's daughter, North has superhuman abilities far superior to those of her race, including:

Superhuman Strength: North possesses considerable superhuman strength, and thus she has overpowered humans, S.H.I.E.L.D. And HYDRA agents, and the enhanced human Winter Solider with little effort. However, North's strength is still outclassed by that of Hulk, Valkyrie, her adopted brother Thor, and Thanos.

Superhuman Durability: North has shown herself to be extremely durable to injuries, further augmented by her armour. Hence, North only flinches when getting shot in the face, and is not at all affected by assault rifle rounds to her torso. North also barely reacted to a jab to the face from Winter Soldier, and even a full force kick to the face from the latter that made North stumble back, only hurt her slightly. However, sufficiently powerful weapons are at least able to cause North pain and leave minor marks. North's durability is implied to be far greater than that of a normal Frost Giant, as she is able to take multiple mighty blows without any fatal damage. In addition, as a Frost Giant, North is immune to the extreme cold of Jotunheim.

Superhuman Speed: North's lack of strength compared to her adopted brother is compensated for her speed, much like Loki.

Superhuman Agility: North has shown immense agility and reflexes.

Superhuman Stamina: North possesses superhuman stamina that allow her to fight prolonged battles. Her muscles produced practically no fatigue toxins during physical activity compared to those of humans. Her incredible stamina enables her to exert herself at peak capacity for an undefined period of time without tiring at all.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite her astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure or even kill North. However, due to her Frost Giant physiology, North heals at a rate much faster than that of humans.

Longevity: North has the capacity to live for thousands of years. North is a baby at the end of the last great war between the Asgardians and the Jotuns, over a thousand years ago.

Cold Immunity: Due to her Frost Giant physiology, North is immune to the otherwise cold and damaging touch of Frost Giants. In fact both a Frost Giant's touch and her either using or even touching the Casket of Ancient Winters, would reveal hers true form as a Frost Giant.

Ice Manipulation:

"Nature? Fire? Both are chaotic and difficult to control. Ice is structured, latticed, light as a feather, massive as a glacier. In ice, there is power!"

North can create, shape and manipulate ice, water frozen into a solid state and appears naturally in forms of snow, slush, hail, icicles, ice spikes and candles, glaciers, pack ice, frost, and polar ice caps, and cold by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms and thus making things colder, for various effects and combinations.  North can create various ice structures with ease, even creating large bullet proof shields that can with standing point blank automatic rifle rounds, as well as launching upon manifestation sharp projectiles in rapid succession. Her powers can also affect the weather around her, dropping the climate of the area and cause it to snow. She can also freeze objects without direct contact.

Freezing kiss: North is able to freeze people through a kiss

Ice spike projection: North is able to create icicle blades out of ice to use in combat she has used these spikes as projectiles, daggers, swords, and claws.

Freezing breath: North is able to create a fog with her breath. She is powerful enough to orally produce cold mists with enough momentum to knock several people backwards and off their feet.

Abilities

Master Martial Artist: North is an extremely skilled and formidable martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant, excelling at improvisation and weapons handling.

Knife Mastery: North excels in knife fighting with an emphasis in Kali knife fighting.

Master Acrobat: Due to her extraordinarily enhanced agility and reflexes, North has shown immense capability in using flips when she fights.

Multilingualism: North speaks her native tongue, as well as fluent Runic, German, Romanian and seasoned Russian. She is most likely is able to speak and understand a multitude of other languages as well, like her brothers.

Equipment:

North Star Suit: A tactical suit that North wears on mission, with a white strip of fabric across her shoulders and extending to her hands, colouring her two middle fingers, over a black torso and legs. North's suit is tailored specifically to her unique style of fighting. As such, her suit has fewer body-armor inlays than the Winter Solider's, anticipating a decreased need for shock-absorption and an increased capacity for motion.

Muzzle and hood: An all in one piece of clothing that attaches to the neckline of her suit, or the collar around her neck, the only thing visible are her piercing empty green eyes. The muzzle is a chain guard that covers the bottom half of her face with an overlay of tactical material.

Collar: A metal contraption that has been around her neck for centuries, there are three loops around the item, one for a leash so slightly smaller then the other two, on either side they are used to attach her to the floor in her 'cell'.

Cuffs: These restrict her powers, and can be used to restrain her.

Weapons:

Blades: In battle, and much like her twin brother, North often uses knives or daggers which she will coat in a layer of ice to injure and kill her enemies.

Ice Shards: In battle North will throw out shards of ice to penetrate her enemies.
