Summary
Why Dagur used the witch to turn Toothless human, Hiccup didn't know.
It was hypocritical- the Berserker had been wanting a Night Fury of his own for a while now, and when he finally had Hiccup and Toothless in a corner, he just...completely got rid of the creature with the wings he so desired?
It wasn't until a few hours later, when Hiccup was choking on the potion Dagur had forced down his throat, that he realized the madman's true plan.
Why make getting a Night Fury and revenge against Hiccup two separate tasks, when he could save a lot more energy by killing two birds with one stone?
