When you wake up, the first thing you see is the Graf's face, deathly pale, very handsome, and slightly worried. The second is the giant stack of boxes behind him. You look at the boxes, eyebrows raised, and climb out of the bed.
"What's all this?" You ask him.
He sits on the edge of the bed, skeletal hands folded in his lap, as he answers, "Candy. I've been told that people give each other chocolates and such to celebrate Valentine's Day now, only I was unsure of what you liked so I had Herbert order one of everyone from his computer."
You walk over to the pile of boxes and pick one of the heart-shaped boxes from the top. A cartoonish picture of a frog is staring up at you and you smile, turning and walking back over to the bed and kissing the Graf on the lips.
"Thank you, I really appreciate it," you say as you pull back.
"You're welcome," he says, kissing you again.
You open the box of candy and pop a piece in your mouth before smiling and saying, "Next time, though, just one box will fine. Though I'm thinking that maybe what you got me today might last so long you won't have to get anything next year."
