I liked the premise of Sakura’s vauge premonitions, and how she dealt with them. I enjoyed the happy changed history, with all the characters whose lives are improved. And I liked Sakura’s character, which is unique to this story: a loving, ever-forgiving little child who is still immature about some things.

The story built up a lot of plot threads and characters who I like to see, and sadly, a few were forgotten. For example, Naruto’s birthday-present treehouse in the park was never described or depicted again. And Kakashi doesn’t become as big a figure in Sakura’s life as it seemed he would be. Genma isn’t seen again, though I would think he might make for a nice distantly-fond viewpoint on Sakura’s life. At least the story partly addresses being stretched too thin as a theme of its own, with the events starting with Ino being sad that Sakura doesn’t pay attention to her anymore.

I was disappointed that though the story focused so much on Izanagi in the second half, we didn’t learn who he was at the very end or why he was doing this. He was merely driven off for now. At least the arc wasn’t a total waste, though, in that Sakura learned about who to count as a friend.

Another plot point that was left hanging was the Sakura’s Mokuton. I expected the story to eventually explain how the time-travel process (which was also never explained) caused Sakura to develop it, but the story hasn’t even started to address it. The Mokuton is just another of Sakura’s many secrets who we don’t know the meaning behind.

The story doesn’t feel complete or coherent at this point. It had plenty of fun moments, but I don’t know what to take away from it yet, and I don’t feel like rejoicing for Sakura yet. The time to rejoice would have been after Tsunade’s triple adoption, but the story kept moving on and introducing more problems after that, so I can’t appreciate it as an ending. The sequel is currently not finished, but if it is finished, I might give it a try at creating the almost-perfect world that I hoped this story would provide.
