Liv surveyed the computer screen, searching for the drone controls “I’m so close!”
“So’s the drone. Ten seconds,” Charley yelled.
“I can do this!”
“Please do!” Helen moved closer. “It’ll kill you.”
Liv whimpered and bit her lip as she traced her hand over the keyboard. Thirty options, she thought, not enough time to try them all.
Charley studied her watch. “Five…four…”
Liv spotted a symbol that looked like two sets of gears exchanging parts. “The symbols represent concepts…”
Bliss gasped. “It’s spotted you!”
“Now or never.” As the drone powered up, Liv pressed the symbol.
