"This can't be happening," Yoongi said as he stared at his phone. A wave of calls and texts were made to him but he refused to respond to any of them. "Fuck," he said before he slammed his phone against his desk. He ran his hands through his hair and leaned back in his chair.
Yoongi decided to spend another late night at the studio. He was in the middle of working on a track when he got the notification.
"Hyung!" a loud voice called as the door into his studio slammed open. Hoseok and Namjoon stood there with their eyes wide and phones in hand.
"I know," Yoongi said with a sigh.
"Does hyung know?" Namjoon asked and Yoongi shrugged. "We need to get home. Now," Namjoon said in determination.
The rappers were tense as they walked home. They decided to ignore any texts or calls that were thrown their way until they got to the dorms. The walk seemed longer than usual and it felt like hours until they finally reached home.
[ Meanwhile ]
"Movie?" Taehyung asked with glistened eyes. Jungkook stared at his hyungs around the table and nodded in agreement.
Seokjin stood up and walked to his room before he came back a few seconds later with a couple pillows and his duvet. The others mimicked his actions excitedly and walked out with their own blankets and far too many pillows. Jungkook said he had an idea and ran into his room. A couple minutes passed and he returned with a whole double bed mattress.
"JK!" Seokjin said excitedly as they all stood up to help him drag it to the center of the room. Jimin teased the youngest for acting all excited and Jungkook just mumbled out a shut up.
They arranged the blankets and pillows over the mattress while Taehyung set up the movie and Seokjin said he'd grab the snacks and drinks. He practically ran to the kitchen and tried to hold as many things as he could before he felt his phone vibrate. He moved to ignore it but then it blew up with notifications. He sighed as he placed everything down on the counter and took the phone out of his pocket.
"Hyung, what's taking so long?" Jimin said from the mattress and the next thing they heard was a glass shattering. "Hyung?!" he said as they all stood up and rushed towards the kitchen. They walked in to find a glass knocked from the counter on the floor, Seokjin had his phone clutched in one hand while his other was rested on top of the counter.
"Hyung?" Jungkook started but Seokjin just stood there frozen, his eyes glued to the screen. The maknae line's phones began to blow up as well and they furrowed their brows when they checked the news.
"Oh shit," Jungkook said. They all looked at him, worry evident across their faces.
"Hyung, careful," Jimin said suddenly as he walked around the mess and bent down to pick up the pieces of glass. Taehyung and Jungkook quickly copied his actions.
"No, sorry," Seokjin said before he bent down to pick it up as well.
"Hyung, wait," Taehyung started but Seokjin already let out a hiss of pain. He kneeled on a few pieces and used the counter to stand up again.
"Hyung," Jimin started but Seokjin just cursed as he tossed his phone on the counter and grabbed the paper towel to place it on a small cut on his knee. Taehyung and Jimin picked up the bigger pieces and threw them in the bin while Jungkook swept up the rest.
"Thank you," Seokjin said as he focused on his cut, "Sorry," he added. The others moved around him, unsure of what to say.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung opted to ask.
"It's just a small scratch," he said as he rolled his eyes.
"That's not what I meant," Taehyung said as Jimin appeared next to them with a band aid. Seokjin thanked the younger and placed it on himself. They all stood in silence as they listened to the sound of their phones going off.
"We should call Yoongi-hyung," Jungkook stated and Seokjin sighed as he rubbed his forehead and temples.
Before anyone else responded, the door to their dorms opened.
"Hyung?" Hoseok called out. He walked into the room and was surprised at the scene in front of him. Namjoon appeared behind him, followed by Yoongi. Seokjin was leaning against the counter. His hand over his knee with bandaid, a paper towel covered in blood and pieces of glass in their broom and dust pan.
"What happened?" Namjoon said worriedly but was cut off by Taehyung.
"Hyung accidentally knocked a glass off the counter," he said, "We just cleaned it up." Namjoon looked slightly relieved but then sent Seokjin a questioning look.
It was quiet for a couple seconds before a series of buzzing sounded from different parts of the room.
"We should probably answer that," Seokjin said when he noticed their managers calling each of them.
"We're in this together okay?" Namjoon said and everyone silently agreed before he answered the phone.
"We're on our way," Sejin's voice said loudly before they he hung up. They all flinched at his tone and awaited his arrival in the kitchen.
[ 15 minutes later ]
"What were you thinking?!" Sejin said in a frustrated tone. Seokjin and Yoongi stood in front of their managers, heads down and hands behind their back. The rest of the members stood behind them. "Dating a co-worker is one thing but doing so in a public place? Without letting any of us know?"
He held up his phone, which had Bang Sihyuk on video call with them.
"I would've expected you guys to be more discreet," Bang Sihyuk said as he crossed his arms. "Now, we have to deal with people asking us questions and invading others' privacy trying to find out more details about this entire thing."
"We're sorry," they chorused as they bowed down. "It was my fault," they said and they both sent each other a look.
"I'm the one who told Yoongi I wanted to do something different, where we didn't have to hide," Seokjin said with his head still down.
"But I'm the one who decided on the place and practically forced him to go there," Yoongi retorted. They both stood up straight and sent each other a glare.
"From my point of view, you are both at fault," Hobeom said from behind Sejin.
"And you both have to own up to it," Sejin added and the pair nodded.
"Namjoon-ah," Bang Sihyuk started, "You need to be more aware of the rest of the members. I'm not blaming you but next time, ensure they proceed with caution."
"Does that mean you're okay with it?" Yoongi said suddenly. A wave of silence hit the room.
"Okay with what?" Sejin asked, confused.
"With us dating?" he said. Silence.
"Yoongi-ah, don't you think we would've done something by now if we weren't?" Bang Sihyuk said with a sigh.
"So much for discretion," Yoongi mumbled to Seokjin who smacked the younger's arm in response.
The next hour was spent with the managers and their CEO scolding them on the terms of discretion and the damage control to be done in response to what happened. Eventually, it ended with the decision to confirm said relationship ("Because the pictures weren't obvious enough," Yoongi mumbled, which earned him another smack on the arm from the eldest) and request people's respect and privacy over the entire ordeal.
After their managers left, the members left the kitchen with a collective sigh before they grabbed the little pillow and blanket pile they made in the middle of the lounge. The others gave different forms of affection to the two eldests while they walked towards their rooms: a pat on the back from Namjoon, a side hug from Hoseok and Jimin and even a quick hand hold from Taehyung and Jungkook. Yoongi and Seokjin walked next to each other, shoulders bumping but otherwise too lost in thought to process anything. They walked into their room and stared at the walls.
"What did we just do?" Seokjin said and Yoongi walked towards Seokjin's bed before he collapsed on top of it.
"Fuck," Yoongi said as he stared at the ceiling. "Fuck," he said again as he sat up and looked up at his hyung.
"I'm sorry," Seokjin said before he walked forward and stood in front of Yoongi. Yoongi sighed before he pulled the other closer, wrapped his arms around his waist and rested his head against Seokjin's stomach.
"It's not your fault," he mumbled and Seokjin moved his hands to the back of the younger's neck. "I'm sorry too," Yoongi added before he looked up at him again. The older leaned down and lightly pressed their lips together.
"Will you be okay?" Seokjin asked as they rested their foreheads against each other.
"Will you?" Yoongi retorted. They both let out a scoff before they kissed again and again, a longer and deeper one each time.
"I love you," they both said. They smiled in between kisses and Seokjin lightly pushed Yoongi down on the bed to hover over him.
"We'll be okay," the older reassured. Yoongi smiled.
[ Next Morning ]
"No," Yoongi grumbled out for probably the fifth time that morning.
"Yoongi, we have to leave the bed at some point," Seokjin said with a sigh, "We have work."
Yoongi had Seokjin's back against his chest, his arms wrapped around his hyung's torso in a tight grip.
"Don't wanna," the younger said before he buried his head in the back of Seokjin's neck.
"Yoongi," Seokjin said softly before he turned around. He sent him a small smile and Yoongi sighed.
"You can't do that," he said with a glare. Seokjin gave him a quick kiss and Yoongi cursed himself for having such a soft spot for the older before he loosened his grip.
"My phone's been going off none stop," Seokjin said as he reached over and grabbed his phone from the night stand and sat up. "A lot of questions."
"I don't even want to look at mine."
"At least our families know," he responded and Yoongi agreed with a quiet 'yeah.'
"You know, we look pretty good in these photos too," Seokjin said as he zoomed in on some of them.
"Hyung," Yoongi said, a little astonished.
"What? No really, look," he said as he held his phone in front of Yoongi's face.
The pictures /were/ cute. His mind drifted to the night when the photos were taken.
[ Flashback ]
The first thing Yoongi did when Seokjin came out of their room for 'date night' was blindfold him.
"Wow, I mean I knew you were into pretty kinky stuff but-"
"Shut up," Yoongi said as he rolled his eyes. "I'm taking you somewhere."
"Our dates consist of us either in the building we work at or home where our five other house mates don't understand the concept of privacy. Or knocking apparently," Seokjin said.
"I know," Yoongi responded.
"So unless you've found some secret room somewhere, I doubt I'm going to be surprised," Seokjin continued.
"Just trust me," Yoongi said before he took his hand and guided him to the car park. The managers allowed the members to use and drive the cars themselves, only under the condition that they let them know when and where they were and that it comes back unscathed. Yoongi figured what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them.
"You know, if the windows weren't tinted, people would probably think you're kidnapping me," Seokjin said as he sat in the front seat.
"You came with me willingly," Yoongi said as he started the car.
"I could have stockholm syndrome," he said with crossed arms. Yoongi scoffed. The banter continued throughout the drive and when they arrived, Seokjin let out a 'finally' to which Yoongi rolled his eyes at.
When Yoongi removed the blindfold, Seokjin found himself stood in a room with an elegantly decorated table in the center.
"Yoongi," he started, eyes wide. The table was already filled with food. "How the-"
"We didn't get to do anything for your graduation so," Yoongi said, a little flustered with his head down. He stood next to the table, his hands in his pockets.
"Thank you," Seokjin said with a smile. Yoongi met his gaze and sent him another smile in return. Seokjin recognised the restaurant from the menu and his eyes lit up before he practically inhaled the food. They spent the night laughing and talking with some casual flirting and hand holding thrown in between. Overall, it was probably the best date they've had in a long time.
"How are we gonna get out of here without being seen?" Seokjin asked when their plates were empty.
"Back door," Yoongi said and Seokjin smiled.
"Thank you for this," the older said as he held out his hand. Yoongi stood up and walked towards him before he took his hand.
"Congratulations on graduating," he said a little shyly before he leaned down and gave him a kiss.
"Wanna celebrate more at home?" Seokjin whispered against his lips and Yoongi grinned before they stood up to leave the room.
They walked out into a hallway where Yoongi lead the way towards a back door next to the staff kitchen area. They then walked out into an alleyway where Seokjin took Yoongi's hand and dragged him towards a corner next to some stairs.
"Hyung," Yoongi warned when Seokjin stood in front of him and lightly pushed him against the wall. The smile that grew on Yoongi's face said he was quite happy to let whatever was about to happen just happen.
"You're cute," Seokjin stated and Yoongi rolled his eyes before he placed a hand on the back of Seokjin's neck and pulled him in for a kiss. They giggled as their noses bumped into each other and smiled when one of them tried to deepen their kisses.
[ Present ]
Yoongi smiled at the memory.
"We do look good," the younger stated and Seokjin laughed before he kissed his cheek.
"Let's go," Seokjin said as he patted the other's leg. "Gotta face everyone sometime," he added and Yoongi sighed before he sat up.
[ Two hours later at an Airport Car Park ]
"No answering any questions," Sejin said as he parked their van. "You can acknowledge the fan sites like usual but do not answer any questions."
"We understand," Namjoon responded. There were already a swarm of photographers and people waiting for them and they watched as security cleared an area for them to get out of the car. Seokjin was the first to leave the car and the moment the door slid open, the cameras went off. He nodded at everyone and continued to follow the security guard. Jungkook and Taehyung went next, followed by Namjoon and Hoseok and then finally Yoongi. Sejin walked behind them all to ensure all their safety and as per usual, to avoid losing a member in the crowd.
'Yoongi-ssi, what does this mean for your music?!'
'Seokjin-ssi, how do you feel about your fans leaving you?'
'When did you first realise you were gay?'
'Do you think your parents are still proud of you?'
The last one irked all the members to no end. Seokjin wanted to shake the person who dared ask that and tell them that all their parents were aware, proud and loved them all the same. They were nearly at the check in area when a Western man appeared next to them and said something in English that caught Namjoon off guard.
Namjoon stopped in his tracks, which caused Hoseok to bump into him.
"Namjoon-ah," Hoseok scolded, which caused the members ahead to turn around.
"What did you just say?" Namjoon said in English, a glare in the man's direction. Everyone stopped walking but the cameras were going off to capture the interaction.
"Namjoon," Sejin said loudly as he was about to push him to keep going.
"Fags," the man repeated as he held an iphone up to film the group, "How does it feel knowing that your group now has-"
"You better stop talking," Namjoon said as he took a step forward.
"Woah, Namjoon, stop," Yoongi said quickly as he put an arm across Namjoon's chest.
"He just called you guys fags," he translated angrily. The surrounding reporters began to murmur and before anyone else could react, Jungkook was in front of the man, his fists clenched.
"Jungkook-ah," Sejin said loudly when he noticed Jungkook was about to raise his arm. Jimin and Taehyung grabbed onto Jungkook's arms and pulled him back.
The man merely smirked and Jungkook shoved them both away and moved to push the man.
"Jeon Jungkook," Seokjin said loudly. "It's not worth it. Let's go."
Sejin breathed a sigh of relief when he noticed Jungkook relax a little. The youngest then moved to the front of the group and just kept walking with his head down. Sejin then grabbed the man's phone and handed it to security. The man cursed at him but he ignored him as he continued to guide the members towards check in.
The arranged seats became Jungkook next to Sejin, Jimin and Taehyung, Hoseok and Seokjin and Yoongi and Namjoon.
The incident caused the members to spend their flight sulking. Jungkook refused to respond, let alone speak to anyone and stuck his headphones on (though he played no music), Taehyung and Jimin kept awkwardly eyeing everybody, Namjoon looked stressed as Yoongi patted his back in reassurance while Hoseok tried to calm Seokjin down who looked just as stressed as Namjoon did.
"We need to have a talk," Namjoon said loudly enough for everyone to hear.
"We're having a meeting before we even leave the airport," their manager stated and everyone silently agreed.
[ Private Airport Lounge ]
They all sat around the room when Sejin asked for an explanation.
"He cursed at them," Jungkook said, frustrated as he gestured to both Yoongi and Seokjin. "That's not right!"
"We know, Jungkookie," Jimin said as he ran a hand through his hair. "But you were about to punch the guy."
"Was not," he mumbled and Taehyung sent him a look.
"And you shoved us away," he added and Jungkook mumbled an apology. "Rapmon hyung got angry too," he added and all eyes turned to Namjoon who let out a sigh.
"I was just-I was just gonna talk to him," their leader said as he crossed his arms.
"I know it can be frustrating, okay?" Yoongi said, "But we can deal with it." He stood up and walked towards Seokjin and held out his hand. Seokjin gave him a smile and took it before he stood up with him. They interlaced their fingers and sent the others a smile. The rest of the members sent them a small smile back.
Everyone ended up apologizing to their manager and Bang Sihyuk over the phone and ultimately posted an official apology on all their SNS:
We apologize for any aggressive behavior we have depicted at today's incident in Incheon Airport. Unfortunately, we were carried away by our emotions as we were all very hurt at the disrespect we were given by some in attendance. We will do our best to keep a cool head and prevent such an incident happening again. Although it is agreed we did not handle the situation well, we were still caught off guard by the blatant rudeness and we still ask for respect from fans and the media. We will not stand for any slurs against any of our members. Thank you.
Naver and Twitter went haywire. Debates and arguments over not only the incident at the airport but also about Seokjin and Yoongi's relationship in general happened practically across the world.
"This is insane," Hoseok stated as they made it to their van from the airport. Fortunately, ARMYs decided to build a human barrier across the airport and give the boys a pathway when they left the baggage claim area. They felt eternally grateful and made sure ARMYs knew it too. "My phone hasn't stopped getting notifications since I turned it on." They all echoed their agreement as they settled themselves inside the said van.
"I'm sorry," Seokjin said as he stared at his hands. Yoongi sat next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "This is my fault."
"Hyung," Yoongi started and Seokjin sent him a smile as he placed his hand over the younger's.
"No, it is."
"I told you-"
"I'm the one who started this relationship in the first place," he said and Yoongi furrowed his brows.
"I'm pretty sure that was me," the other said. They both narrowed their eyes at each other.
"So do you regret it?" Taehyung asked and both of them answered without hesitation.
"Never," they chorused before they met each other's gaze with a smile.
"Gross," Jungkook said as he cringed inwardly.
"Technically this is all Hoseok's fault," Jimin said loudly. Everyone turned their heads to him in question. "It's not like Yoongi's studio can lock by itse- aish, hyung!" Jimin whined as he rubbed his probably bruised arm.
"That was you?!" Seokjin said as he turned around. Hoseok laughed nervously as he sank further into his seat.
"We were trapped in there for hours," Yoongi said with a glare.
"I was starving," Seokjin added and Hoseok just shrugged.
[ Flashback ]
"I swear to God if they don't do anything I will," Hoseok said frustratedly as he walked into his room. Jungkook was on his bed, his phone in hand while Jimin sat against the wall, Hoseok's laptop on his lap.
"Who won't do anything?" Jungkook muttered distractedly.
"Hyungs," he said before he stood over him and gestured for him to move before he collapsed on his bed.
"Oh that," Jimin said as he rolled his eyes and shut the laptop.
"Stop using my things," Hoseok said as he closed his eyes and turned around to wrap his arm around Jungkook.
"Hyung!" Jungkook whined when Hoseok knocked the phone out of his hand. "I was playing that."
Jimin grinned before he jumped on top of the pair and they both let out groans of annoyance.
"I'm serious, you guys," Hoseok said with a sigh. "Yoongi just spent the last hour staring at Seokjin eat and when I called him out on it, Seokjin nearly choked on his food."
"You can't force them to admit their feelings to each other," Jimin said with a pout.
"I'm not. I might just give them a little bit of encouragement," he mumbled. Jimin stood up from the bed and sent him a look but Hoseok was already fast asleep.
[ Two days later ]
"Hoseok?" Jimin said softly. Hoseok half opened his eyes. "What are you doing asleep in the practice room?"
"What?" the other said as he sat up. His eyes widened in realisation. "Oh shit," he said quickly before he got up and practically bolted to Yoongi's studio.
"Hyung?" the dancer asked cautiously as he opened the door. Yoongi appeared in front of him, in a rush.
"Thank God," Yoongi said as he stood up from his chair." Thanks Hoseok," he said before he ran out of the room. Hoseok furrowed his brows in question before he turned his attention to Seokjin who was sat on Yoongi's couch with wide eyes, a red face and his hands on his lips. Hoseok smirked.
[ Present ]
"So what happened?" Taehyung said excitedly. "Between hyungs?" he added as he stared at the two. Seokjin's ears turned pink while Yoongi's face looked as red as a tomato.
"Nothing," Yoongi said quickly and Seokjin just avoided everyone's gaze.
"Please don't tell me you had sex in Yoongi-hyung's studio," Namjoon pleaded.
"No!" they both yelled, even more flustered before Yoongi hit Namjoon's arm. After a bit more teasing, the ride became a quiet one and when they got home, the pair collapsed on Seokjin's bed before they stared at the ceiling in silence.
"I want to say something," Yoongi said suddenly. They turned to face each other, a determined expression on Yoongi's face while Seokin's was one full of question. "I want to say something to ARMY."
"Are you sure?" Seokjin asked as raised a hand to cup Yoongi's cheek, "Don't want to check with Sejin first?"
"Yes," Yoongi said before he placed his own hand on top of Seokjin's. "I need to say something." Seokjin leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on the other's lips and smiled.
"Okay," he whispered before they kissed again. They both moved to the desk where Yoongi's laptop sat and Yoongi sighed before he typed out a message:
I know a lot has happened recently and you haven't heard much from me but I just wanted to say something to ARMY. Thank you and I'm sorry. Thank you for continuing to support us and send us such kind words and messages, Thank you for being there for us and defending us. We are so grateful to ARMY.
I'm sorry for lying to you about who I am and for any harsh words you may have had to deal with after these incidents. I'm sorry for not being as active on sns as I should be and I will try harder and make sure you know how grateful I am for you all.
Thank you. I love you, ARMY.
"What do you think?" Yoongi said as Seokjin stood up behind him. The older wrapped his arms around the other's neck and stared at the screen.
"It's good," he mumbled before he kissed him on the cheek. Yoongi fought back a smile.
"What about you, Hyung? Are you good?" the younger asked worriedly as his eyes met the other's. "How are you feeling about all this?"
"Overwhelmed," Seokjin said with sigh. "I don't think I've had time to properly process it," he added as he released Yoongi and walked back towards the bed.
Yoongi watched as Seokjin grabbed his large jumper and put it on. He watched him fiddle with his sleeves before he laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He tried to hold back a smile when the word 'cute' came to mind. He stared at the screen when a thought drifted in his head.
He loved Seokjin. He /really/ loved Seokjin.
[ Flashback ]
"I don't get it, how could your door possibly be locked from the outside?" Seokjin whined as he tried to turn the knob for the millionth time that night.
"How should I know?" Yoongi said, frustrated. He collapsed back into his office chair and stared at his already turned off computer.
"If you even try to turn that back on, I'm cutting off your hand," the older said angrily as he looked back at him.
"Hyung, we can't eat if we're stuck here," he said as he crossed his arms, "Might as well be productive until someone lets us out."
"Don't you dare," Seokjin scolded before he walked over and turned Yoongi's chair around. "You're going to take a nap on the couch," he said as he pulled Yoongi off the chair and shoved him towards his couch.
"This is abuse," Yoongi said with a pout as he sat down.
"You've been staring at your screen for 12 hours straight. Sleep," the older demanded as he sat in Yoongi's chair.
"I don't have a pillow," he retorted and Seokjin sighed.
"You really are a baby," the other said as he stood up and sat on the end of the couch. He gestured towards his lap and Yoongi turned a light shade of pink as he laid down and placed his head on said lap.
Seokjin smiled when the other grumbled, crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
"Sleep," he demanded again. Yoongi shifted to his side, facing away from Seokjin, and curled in on himself. Seokjin's stomach flipped. "Cute," he whispered and Yoongi scoffed.
A few minutes later, Yoongi felt Seokjin's fingers on his head. He fell asleep at the action and woke up after he didn't know how long to the older still doing the same thing.
"Why do you do that, hyung?" he asked before he looked up at Seokjin. Seokjin stopped and pulled his hand away.
"That," Yoongi said, "This," he gestured to his position, "everything."
"You didn't have to come here either. The others just sent me texts or called me. You said you were exhausted from practicing and you still came all the way down here to get me to eat?"
"You would have forgotten to," Seokjin mumbled.
"But that's not all," Yoongi said as he shifted his gaze to the ceiling, "You always make sure I eat, you always hold my hand and play with my hair," he paused, "You wipe the dirt off my face even though I'm highly capable of doing it myself. Not to mention, you call my mom and-"
"Okay, I get it. I'll stop," he said as he leaned back against the couch and looked away, his heart a little broken.
"That's not what I meant."
"Then what do you mean?" he asked as he looked back down at him in frustration.
"I just want to know why."
"Because I care about you, Yoongi," Seokjin said angrily. "Sorry if that's an inconvenience for you."
"That's not what I meant," the younger repeated.
"Then why did you ask?"
"Because," Yoongi said as he looked up at Seokjin. He stared at the worried look on Seokjin's face and suddenly his heart pace quickened.
"What?" Seokjin asked and before he knew it, Yoongi reached out and rested his hand on the back of his hyung's neck. "Yoongi?" he said as the other narrowed his eyes at him.
"Just, stop talking," he mumbled before he leaned up and pressed their lips together. It was an awkward angle but neither had any complaints. They both pulled away to catch their breaths and right before they leaned in again, they heard a voice.
"Hyung?" Hoseok called out and Yoongi practically bolted off the couch. He rushed a thank you to Hoseok and sprinted out of the room. His heart wouldn't calm down and his face was tomato red. Seokjin was in the same boat.
[ Present ]
Yoongi held back another smile before he edited his message for a couple more minutes and followed after his boyfriend to his bed.
"I'm sorry," Yoongi said when Seokjin opened his arms to pull him into a hug.
"None of this is your fault, Yoongi," Seokjin responded.
"It's not yours either," he said as they stared at each other. Yoongi's phone rang and Seokjin groaned before he reached over Yoongi to grab it. "Don't," the younger said as he lightly grabbed Seokjin's arm. "Just leave it."
"It might be important," the other said with a look. Yoongi sighed as the older took his phone anyway.
"It's Sejin?" Seokjin said in question. "It's nearly midnight," he added before he answered it and put it on speaker.
"Are you insane, Yoong-ahi?!" he said loudly. "So much for 'slowly let them get used to it' or 'be subtle'."
"What are you talking about?" Seokjin said as he sat up. "His message?"
"Everyone's losing it."
"It didn't reveal anything. Just a simple thank you and apology," he defended as he looked at Yoongi in confusion.
"Did you even read it, Seokjin-ah?" their other manager, Hobeom, said from the phone.
"What did you do, Min Yoongi?" Seokjin asked as he fumbled with Yoongi's phone and went on twitter. He read along the message and tilted his head in confusion when the message was the same as what he read before.
Yoongi laid back on the bed and closed his eyes.
"I don't get it," Seokjin said as he read it out loud, "...I will try harder and make sure you know how grateful I am for you all. Thank you. I love you, ARMY," he paused when he realised there were extra lines below. "And just to further confirm, yes, Seokjin-hyung and I are in a relationship. I'm in love with someone who makes really bad dad jokes. What has my life come to?"
Seokjin widened his eyes as he finished reading the message and dropped the phone on the bed.
"Hyung?" Yoongi said as he looked at him, "Are you mad?" he asked, a little worried he may have gone too far.
"Yes!" Seokjin said as he smacked his boyfriend's leg. "My jokes are not bad, Min Yoongi!" he yelled. Yoongi covered his mouth to hide a laugh.
"Yah, that's not the point!" Sejin said, "I'm going to smack you both, I swear," he added before he hung up. Seokjin looked at Yoongi and shrugged.
"You're really not mad?" Yoongi said as he sat up. Seokjin grinned before he laid down and rested his head on the rapper's lap.
"It felt kinda nice reading you declaring your undying love for me to millions of people," he said and Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Admit it. You liked it too," the older said as he poked Yoongi's cheek.
"A little," he responded with a grin.
"I'm in love with you too you know," Seokjin whispered before he raised his arm and rested his hand on the back of Yoongi's neck.
They both leaned towards each other.
