Supposedly, there was a list of casualties from alien encounters, though no one knew who kept it. Weir took some comfort, as she floated in space, that her name was on it. When Ianto died his name was added next to hers and no one took comfort in that.

Rory had known that traveling with the doctor would get him kiled (again) not a simple trip to Roswell, he thought as he felt the bullet enter his chest, then there was a feeling of warmth and waking to a pair of worried, cautious eyes staring down.

Peggy reminds George so much of Julia, which is why he feels honoured that she allows him to see her moment of self doubt after being dismissed by her police contact and how he knows that she will prove them wrong.

Harry couldn’t help holding his breath as he walked into their quarters and saw Tom and B’elanna lounging on the couch together. The memory of his lover staring at him like a stranger was still fresh in his mind and he couldn’t help the sinking worry that he wasn’t welcome. Those fears were blown away as the couple noticed him and reached out with identical smiles.

Even after all this time the Voyager crew still thought of him as just a program. Not all the time of course but there were moments when he could see in their eyes that they were thinking how he would never understand, never be as real as they were and there were moments when he agreed.
