    Summary

For generations, the church and the Bishop's Men have maintained order in the far-flung colony of the New Covenant. A brutal six-year war between the church and a heretical movement led by a man named John Metzger has left James Finnbar looking for a place to rebuild his life, somewhere he won't be found.

What he finds is Carlston, a frontier mining town owned by the unmarried, cross-dressing Ada Carl, a woman who isn't above a good old fashioned barter: work for me, and I won't collect the price on your head.

As an uneasy friendship grows between the two, founded on the shared circumstance of being queer in a society that would deny they even exist, neither Ada or James is without their demons, and though the town rests on the edge of civilization, it is only a matter of time before their pasts catch up to them, and consume the fragile balance struck in the temporary haven of Carlston.

    Summary

To the people around her, Lya is only the mistress of a war hero, the man who killed the king of Saren and ended the war between their kingdoms. What they do not know is how close to that decisive moment Lya was, or the role she played in it. Lya has spent the seven years since the end of the war hiding in Kressos, concealing her past and her identity. Now, circumstance pulls her back to Saren, to the place where the king was murdered, and as Lya returns to the nation she once called home, she begins to hear the call of something bigger and more powerful than any king: that of the Winter Wolf.

Going home is never simple, even when home exists. Sometimes it doesn't. For the Hephaestus survivors, "home" is no guarantee of comfort, or even safety, and there's still Goddard Futuristics to contend with. And a brand-new person named Miranda.

    Now complete.

The thing they don’t tell you about surviving, about fighting your way back home and licking your wounds, about chipping away at a semblance of a life when everyone you love is either dead or thinks you are—the thing they don’t tell you is that you usually wish you hadn’t.

(Eiffel and Minkowski attempt to survive in a world they’re no longer welcome in. They do…alright.)

    Summary

(and, considering that it took long enough to just get past the whole thing where a cursed baby with a gun showed up in his living room, he really doesn't get very far)

The day after Tsuna's final fight with Bermuda, Kyoko wants to know what all the bustle was about. Hana is invited along, because Kyoko thinks it's time to stop keeping secrets. Tsuna is really, really tired.

“Um, cursed?” said Hana flatly. “I thought we were talking about the mafia, not” she waved an arm, “fairy tales or something.”
“When you get shot in the head by a baby and don’t die you kind of stop questioning things,” said Sawada in perfect seriousness. “Don’t worry, you get used to it.”
