Being a hero in a super-powered world has its fun and games, but not everything is flashy or thrilling. Training can be brutal, and many people no longer trust heroes to protect them. Yeji, Jisu, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Tori, and Yuna know this well. They're enrolled in a superhero university, hoping for the opportunity to one day use their powers in meaningful ways.
When Jisu is kidnapped, and Tori disappears shortly after, it leads Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna to investigate their friends' whereabouts because no one else will. What they discover causes them to question an authority system that has been put in place supposedly to protect them. Will they find their friends? And if they do, what ugly truths about their society will they uncover along the way?

- Part 1 of Gifted
Jaehyun is upset.
His best friend got his heart broken two weeks ago, but he insists on defending the girl who broke up with him. He can't understand how anyone could break up with someone who loves as deeply and tries as hard as Johnny.
Johnny just wants his girlfriend KC back. She's smart, loving, funny as hell, and they know everything about each other. He feels like the break-up was a façade for something else and wants answers.
Donghyuck and Yukei are just trying to graduate college and have fun, while learning as much about life as possible. They are agents of chaos and supportive friends.
KC was in a long-term, very committed relationship with Johnny when she discovered she wanted to become a doctor. She was juggling this new change along with criticism from her friends and family. No one in her life understood why she spent most of her time with Johnny and was so in love with him. The pressure became too much, and a break-up ensued. What is she thinking two weeks later? Is Jaehyun right to blame her for everything that happened?
