"Romance, he says. As if I could possibly be romanced by a man who thinks it's acceptable to pluck living things from the dirt and stuff them into his face."

It would seem a high-class fellow from Tevinter and a Dalish elf from the woods have slightly different understandings of what constitutes "cuisine." Well, no matter -- that doesn't stop them from exploring the many culinary worlds of Thedas.... some more horrible than others.

(actually just an excuse for dumb banter honestly)

“Promise me you’ll keep an open mind?”

“What? Of course. My mind is open. It’s thoroughly open. If it were any more open my brain would be splattered all over the grass.”

Lavellan has always had complicated feelings about whether or not he belongs with his clan. Still, when the dust settles following Corypheus’s defeat, he is eager to check in and see how his clan-mates are doing.

Bringing Dorian home with him... might make things a little more complicated still.

"Lucky for me that you lived through all that, or it would've been my duty to vengefully murder Solas. And given his newfound talents, that might have been..." Dorian paused thoughtfully. "Though, I have always thought I would make a marvellous statue."

"You'd be the pride of any garden, I'm certain."

"Garden? Please. I'm dramatically staged in a fountain or I'm nowhere at all."

A lot of things are irreversibly changed after the events of Trespasser. Dorian and Lavellan may be attempting to pretend that their relationship isn’t one of them. (a.k.a.: Attempting a firmer resolution to those loose relationship threads that Trespasser gave us.)

    Summary

Of all the various complications Apollo expected to face when taking over Dhurke's law office, his darling dad himself was not one of them. Except here he is, seeing definite signs of haunting in his new office. While Apollo doesn't really mind his surprisingly helpful invisible coworker, Rayfa is jealous, Nahyuta is considering exorcisms, and Prosecutor Gavin turns out to have a heretofore undisclosed talent for speaking with ghosts.

And here he was thinking being an orphan twice over would mean no risk of embarrassing childhood stories getting shared with potential boyfriends. Not that he's interested in Gavin, of course. Not at all.
