It had been over a decade since Bellamy Blake moved away, but everyone in town still remembered him.
At least, that’s what they’ve all said ever since he became a famous historian, with a book and a popular docuseries on Netflix under his belt.
Clarke, however, had never forgotten her old partner in crime at the library. She’s so proud of everything Bellamy has accomplished even though they lost touch a long time ago.
But now, Bellamy is back and seemingly interested in more than just Clarke’s friendship, and Clarke can’t say that she minds. A casual relationship sounds like just the kind of fun she needs right now.
The fact that it’s with her former best friend-slash-crush isn’t a big deal. After all, their arrangement is only for the few weeks he’s in town before he returns to his celebrity life. That’s definitely not enough time for her to fall for him again…

If only she didn't need Bellamy Blake's assistance to save her town.
Or, the one where Clarke and Jasper are scientists who turn superhuman, Raven and Monty are their human friends who are no less super at fighting crime, and Bellamy absolutely does not believe in superheroes… until he meets one. That's when things get really interesting.

“This can’t end well,” Wells warned, and Clarke waved him off as she grabbed her purse. “Clarke,” he said, sterner this time. She jerked her head up to look at him, her eyes wide in response to his sudden seriousness. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”
“I’m not going to. I know he doesn’t want a soulmate, so it’s not like there’s anything he can say to make that hurt any worse,” she replied, and his eyes faltered.
The Soulmate AU where Bellamy needs a fake soulmate to convince his ex he's moved on with his life and Clarke is totally okay with being recruited to be a fake soulmate to her actual soulmate that decided years ago he didn't want a soulmate. It's complicated.
