Summary
Kurt and Blaine could easily not have met on a staircase in high school. They could have met a few years later in college instead.
This story is AU from within 2x06 ("Never Been Kissed"), with many of the broad strokes of canon remaining except where I thought they would be different because of the AU or other factors. It takes place in Blaine's first year of college, starting about a year from now. There are some spoilers through 3x22 (“Goodbye”).

Summary
Isak thinks Even is pretentious and impractical. Even thinks Isak is arrogant and uptight. They’re not each other’s biggest fans, even if they do happen to have spectacular sex on a very, very drunken night. And Isak doesn’t mean to do it again, but he does, anyway, so now they’re establishing ground rules and deciding that maybe they can keep doing this, no strings attached, no commitments, no feelings, and, most importantly, no need to stop disliking each other.
And then it’s not quite that simple anymore.

The first time it happened, Merlin didn’t think anything of it. He just had a dream about a big, wide open space in the sky where another voice said to him What are you doing here?
And Merlin said I belong here.

Summary
Arthur and Merlin had known each other practically since birth. They were inseparable from infancy; destiny had a funny way of working out how the man Arthur would rule his kingdom with was the same man who was his closest friend and confidante.
Uther and Balinor weren’t like that; Uther and Balinor fought like a hellstorm every day, every hour. Their wives could try to mend the anger between them, but more often than not it seemed as if the men were trying to run completely different kingdoms.
Arthur knew that he and Merlin could do a better job. They fought, but never seriously; it was always teasing, always in jest, always with a ripple of affection underneath it all. Arthur couldn’t imagine his father ever sneaking into Balinor’s chambers when they were teenagers, just to talk about what was bothering him.
Well. There were probably other reasons Arthur came, too, but he didn’t like to think about those reasons.
