In the moment, she knows full well she’s being destructive but gets an awful sense of satisfaction from it. She knows, too, that she’ll regret this once the anger’s cooled. And she knows she can’t keep doing this to people and expecting them to keep coming back to her. But in the moment, the destructive angry satisfaction is easier than listening to the voice of reason in the back of her mind.
