Summary
Gods. How appalling. How pathetic. Two hundred years of torture and here he is, undone by one heinous little hero who dared to tell him no—but how dare they tell him no?
How dare they—smile at him so sweetly that it was hard to look at, like staring into the sun, only to turn around and condemn him to an eternity in the shadows? How dare Tav kiss his fingers as though he was something precious, only to smash his every hope for a better life against the rocks?
(Tav fails the check to convince Astarion that completing the ritual is a bad idea. Astarion leaves the party, and then almost immediately comes to regret it when Orin kidnaps Tav.)

Summary
“I know you won’t tell me, but I’d still like to know,” Nona said at dinnertime. It was just her and Camilla at the table tonight. Pyrrha was working late again. Camilla raised a single brow and didn’t say a word, so Nona continued, “About the girls from my dreams. The ones who you think I am. Sometimes I wonder about them.”
“Do you?” Camilla asked.
Nona nodded. The motion made her braids bounce. There were two today, framing either side of her thin face. “Were they nice?” she asked. “Are they nice?”
Camilla said, “Not really,” and ate a spoonful of wrinkly peas.

Summary
It was a fantasy Gideon often thought about.
A ship would come—not one of the dinky dropships that visited fortnightly to deliver rations, but something big and nasty, a proper Cohort vessel like in her comics. It would rattle the rocks thirty stories down and blot out the sky. The Reverend Mother and Father would come out to greet it, and when it docked it'd kick up so much dust that their eyes would stream with tears. Their paint would smear, and they'd look really stupid. Then, while they were busy coughing up a lung, a ramp would descend, and from the belly of the ship would come—someone. Someone important.
Who they were and what they looked like changed whenever Gideon thought about it, but that part didn't matter so much. They could have been anyone. Gideon wouldn’t have cared. What mattered was that they were here for her, and because of that she would never be sad or lonely again.

"At the palanquin... you said something to me. That you knew what it was like to lose someone.” Blue Diamond pauses; looks down. She’s sitting, but even still, she towers above the humans on the beach. “You were talking about her, weren't you? Pink.”
“Rose,” Greg corrects. “Yeah, I was.”

Summary
Astarion is domineering in bed. He keeps Tav’s hands off him at every turn. It doesn’t leave them, though, the idea that maybe he’s never been touched softly by anyone before. Tav wants to be that for him desperately. Astarion takes to pampering like a housecat. Surely he would love for his hair to be washed by another person. To lie back and let pleasure be brought to him, given to him. Surely Astarion would like it, but doesn’t even know to want it.
Tav tries something new. It doesn't go so well, at first.

Summary
He wanted to retch, but he didn't want to lose the blood and he was afraid of being ill too loudly. The others might hear and Lae'zel might make good on her promise. Was this bad blood or ceremorphosis? Can't be too careful and he wasn't in a position to object. You needed to be able to stand and see clearly to argue with a gith and a greatsword. Snicker-snack and then the party would just use magic to open locked chests.
That's how the world worked. Bad things happened when people saw that you were weak.

“I’m not in the mood for a pep talk right now,” Shadowheart said, without turning. “Can it wait until the morning?”
“Ch’k,” an unexpected voice said. “I do not give talks, and if I did they certainly would not be peppy. I merely came to ensure you were not devoured by the native fauna.”After the Gauntlet, Moonrise, and the Shadow Curse, Lae'zel and Shadowheart realise they're not so different.

Summary
Astarion had never been so angry at Naeve — not when she’d dumped him, not when she’d almost given into the urge to murder him in the Shadow-Cursed lands, not when she refused to help him with the Rite of Ascension. This was the worst thing she’d ever done to him. “You’re planning to throw yourself into a den of seven thousand vampire spawn!”
Naeve continued as though Astarion hadn’t spoken. “There’s one thing I’ve left unfinished. You all were there in Cazador’s dungeon when we found the spawn.”
Astarion didn’t want to think about this — he didn’t want to remember the sunken, accusing faces of the thousands that he’d lured to Cazador to die a messy, ignoble death, only to learn that he’d also left them to starve in the dark for hundreds of years —
“We released thousands of spawn into the Underdark,” Naeve said. “And my guess is that they need help. My help. Our help, maybe.”
After defeating the Netherbrain, Astarion and the Dark Urge try to figure out what to do with several thousand vampire spawn. And, maybe, what else they want along the way.

Summary
Luz Noceda wandered into the Demon Realm as a very young child, whereupon she was rescued and raised by a super benevolent Emperor.
Nobody says a word when the super benevolent Emperor dies under mysterious circumstances.
A mostly-horror series about Luz and Hunter being raised together in the castle, navigating Holy Shit levels of traumatic codependency, and being very worried about each other. Much to the chagrin of literally everyone who cares about them.
