  3. Summary

"Where have you seen me? Did anyone else see me?" Tony turned around and the Soldier put the gun to his forehead. Tony couldn't decide if he wanted to lean into the door or the gun. "You come to me all the time. I took care of your arm the first time" he said and pointed at it. It was clad in leather today and through the glove Tony could only see the silver fingertips. The Soldier took a step back and shook his head. He seemed to concentrate hard on something and then said "No. You cried."

Stiles blinks, “You’ve spent the last twenty years in therapy?”

“I had some emotional issues,” Peter admits.

    “That’s… hilarious.”

    Summary

Peter smiles with too many very sharp teeth, and he wonders what they would feel like delicately grazing his skin, maybe over his hips, or his collarbone. With Peter, there was always something behind the sass and biting remarks, but now there’s a pull that’s simply undeniable to something so beautiful and monstrous, a man who could rip him to pieces, but taking him apart with pleasure and pain, one whimper and moan at a time instead.

"Yours has a unique scent. I would know it anywhere. Just like your anger, and your fear." he leans forward, his nose just barely touching the sweaty skin beneath Stiles’ jaw, "But you're not afraid right now."

    Summary

Derek looks at Stilinski, and thinks about Argents, thinks about recording devices slipped into his bags and clothing, lipstick stains on his skin. Outside, he can hear Stiles goofing around with the intern Scott, making sarcastic remarks and laughing, and under that noise, that fragile, fluttering heartbeat.

“What am I supposed to do with him?” Derek asks roughly.

Stilinski levels a sharp look at him. “Why did you ask Argent for him?”

Derek leans back against the couch. Shrugs. “He saved my life,” he says carefully. “Figured I’d return the favour.”

OR: In the near future, Derek meets a very peculiar android named Stiles and takes a liking to him.

    Summary

Derek doesn’t want to call the window repair guy. He doesn’t want to sweep up the glass. He’ll inevitably miss a few shards and pull them out of the bottom of his bare feet for weeks.

He doesn’t want to try to make this place feel like home when it isn’t.

Derek stayed in Beacon Hills and tried to make it work because he wanted pack, wanted purpose. He gave his best effort and found himself back where he started: alone, with a few begrudging allies. He’s tired, and even though his werewolf body heals quickly, he feels the weary ache down to his center.

He packs his car with the few things he cares about enough to drag them from place to place. He locks the loft and calls a realtor about listing the building he’d bought in a misguided attempt to secure a future.

    And then he leaves.

    Summary

“You’re delusional,” he said, grinning, “and trust me, I know delusional.” His limbs were long and coltish and he didn’t seem to have expert control over them. His eyes were big, amber, framed with preternatural lashes and he had spots.

He was a fawn and Derek, a wolf. Maybe that explained why Derek was struck with the urge to devour him.
