19 Apr 2021I'm only part of the way through Harry's dinner with Slughorn but I just wanted to comment how brilliant you've described the Wizarding world. It really is more alike to feudal England than the modern world. It matters the history and wealth your family has and knowledge is held by the wealthy.
...To understand the importance of alliances, the necessity of playing political games, and the foundation that families are..."
This chapter is a masterpiece. Horace Slughorn is a wealth of information and I think that he is truly a benefit to Harry. Sure, Harry will have to schmooze with people Horace wants but the man does want to help. Horace also has his guilt about guiding Tom and then killing Lily motivating him. I feel like he must know about Slytherin's tutelage since he was mumbling about Tom and how Harry can't be Horace'a apprentice since Harry's already in an apprenticeship.

Harry rescued by the Goblin king in the Labyrinth.
Unknown being puts Voldemort's soul back together and creates him a child's body.
Jareth is a fae and is the goblin king as his punishment for genocide and how stopped the last goblin war. He's not all knowing and the goblin castle and the Labyrinth have minds of their that he doesn't understand.
Review:
I'm going to guess that this being is fae. And if that's the case then I'm sad for Jareth not just for his banishment from his homeland but also that he's never been able to grow and progress and learn more of his people and their magic. He seems very limited in his knowledge of where he lives and magic compared to this stranger who was able to put back Voldemort and create him a new immature body and restore the pieces of his soul.Anyways, thank you for writing this. I'm glad Harry won't be going back to the Dursleys.
I'm confused what type of creature Mimsy was if all her kitchen things were huge. Goblins aren't all that much bigger than humans, probably smaller. -

Good series. They get better after the first one as they add on to the sacred nobility magical traditions and protocols.
The idea of Lily being a sacred 28 and her friendship with Narcissa as well as the relationship with Sirius is well done. -

I cannot stop chortling. This is brilliant. James and Loki teaming up to defend their sexy honor is hilarious. I would have sworn that Tony did it on purpose if he hadn't seemed so confused when they picked him up. Thank you for this!
