Summary
Light gave up being Kira, hoping beyond hope that L would just kill him. The UN decided differently. Afraid of Kira's power in apparent telepathy, they give L the right to keep him under house arrest. L takes advantage of this and has Light working with him as a detective and equal, replacing the aging Watari. When a case leads them to LA, Light is forced to deal with his feelings about himself, L and Kira.

Summary
Moving to Los Angeles was not Light's best idea. It's blazing hot, always on fire, the traffic is the worst, and the mafia is acting up all over again. When Rod Ross is found not guilty yet again on murder charges and the murders start up again, Light joins a taskforce with decidedly eccentric people who could all only be described as complete and utter pricks. He should be more worried about what's happening to the city he lives in and the people he's sworn to serve and protect, but honestly, he's a bit more concerned at how well he fits in with these weirdos...

Viktor has always felt a strange connection to Bridget Jones, something that Yuri will never understand. Sure, there are quite a few differences between them: first, Viktor doesn’t feel very insecure about his looks (apart from his thinning hairline) and second, he doesn’t embarrass himself regularly. He has also made an amazing career and with his status as a high-class celebrity, he probably won’t need to worry too much about money for the rest of his life. But there’s something in Bridget that Viktor understands better than anyone, the fear of never finding your true love and spending your whole life all alone.
Aka "Married at First Sight" AU where both Yuuri and Viktor apply for the said reality television show, become a match and spend 5 weeks together as a married couple.
