One day Kaya wakes up and finds a Seelie next to him. He also finds that part of his hair is on fire and he knows things will be much more complicated now...
No matter how sarcastic and cold people think of him, he was always afraid not to find his soulmate, sometimes he thought that he didn't have one.
The Child walked slowly towards the gate that would lead him out of the city. He didn't want to leave his beloved city after all the time he spent there. The people he met, the atmosphere of the city he didn't want to lose. Most of all, he was afraid of losing the person for whom he felt something. But ... he lost him. Who knew that damn Zhongli was Morax whose power he had to take away... Zhongli would never have forgiven him for lying and that he almost took his Gnosis. Although he was a harbinger of fatui and never tried to get attached to anything so that later it wouldn't hurt so much, but in this time... he was fucked. What he certainly didn't expect was the fact that right at the exit, right in front of him would appear a flickering Seelie who stared at him motionless. Destiny should be clearly hated him...

Summary
That was what made TK angry. Not that Carlos was in the hospital; he knew both of their jobs came with that risk. He was upset that his boyfriend didn’t even bother waiting for TK to come see him. He should know at this point that TK would want to be there for him, and would be more than willing to give him a ride home.
He took a few deep breaths, collecting on all of his thoughts before knocking on the door.
As soon as Carlos opened the door, everything he planned to say disappeared from his head. He could only take in Carlos’ disheveled appearance.

TK is upset because his boyfriend is in the hospital and went home before he could get there... that all changes when he sees him.

Summary
It was funny how often he ended up going to Carlos' place instead of the house he shared with his dad. His dad had commented on it plenty, especially after Carlos had given TK a spare key, but TK let him know that they were taking things slow and he shouldn't make a big deal out of it.

Kicking off his shoes as he walks through the door, TK sighs. It had been yet another long shift and he could feel it in his bones.
Not only is his body aching from the never-ending day, but his pain could also be explained from one specific call the 126 responded to where TK fell through the burning floor of the first floor of a home, landing in the basement.
It could have been a lot worse; he’s definitely seen his fair share of more severe injuries. But fortunately today he was able to walk away with only some bad bruising on his back.
