Summary
After the explosion of the Chantry and the deaths of Anders, Meredith, and Orsino, staying in Kirkwall is no longer an option. Sebastian brings Hawke and the others to Starkhaven with plans to take back his family’s throne and offer his friends as safe a haven as he can create. Starkhaven, however, proves to have secrets and challenges of its own. Sebastian is confronted with uncovered remnants of his past that will change his life forever, threatening to disrupt the new and fragile chaste relationship he has with Padi Hawke. Starkhaven offers Sebastian a future he never imagined for himself, but he must decide where his priorities lie and who he wants to share that future with.
Starts at the end of Dragon Age 2 and goes through into Dragon Age: Inquisition. This fic is complete and will update once a week, hopefully on Thursdays as my schedule allows.

Summary
Starkhaven is in flames around them, and everywhere is the clamor of battle. They arrived to find the city already under siege, though their company of Wardens rode hard to stay ahead of the bulk of the horde called together over the Free Marches by Zazikel’s horrible shrieks. The city rose before them, already mounting what attack it could. Arrows flickered with fire too bright to be starlight as they arced up away from the city walls, raining down behind the Wardens to slow the tide of Darkspawn. Griffons wheeled overhead out of range of the arrows, cawing and chattering, their riders’ commands inaudible in the din. Those residents who could flee took to the hills above the city, burning the bridge behind them and hoping that the Minanter would protect them. Those who could not leave fought, and are fighting still, now reinforced with Grey Wardens at their sides. The war cries of the Wardens are answered by the screams of Darkspawn, battle horns and the rattle of swords and the constant, awful clattering that seems to come from the horde itself.
A telling of the end of the Second Blight.

I decided to write this after being OUTRAGED by the number of highly problematic and abusive fanfics I see on this site! Honestly I shouldn't even post it here at all, since AO3 is complicit in LITERAL SEX TRAFFICKING and ABUSE by allowing just anyone to post whatever they want. But it's the best website for posting fic. What am I supposed to do, raise money to pay for servers and use AO3's entirely, 100% open source code to start a new site that upholds REAL MORALITY?
