Severus has been living in America for the past five years, ignoring literally anything and everything about wizarding Britain--until a Ministry owl shows up at his apartment, telling him of the revival of an ancient marriage law. Paired with the intolerable Miss Granger, he returns to Britain, determined to free himself from the chains of a past life entirely. To his dismay, his plans are interrupted by an intelligent, fascinating, and gorgeous young woman: the current Master of Antiquities, whose job it is to run archaeological digs throughout Britain and research into the most dangerous artifacts of wizarding history.
Unfortunately for Severus, that same Master of Antiquities is now his wife.
