Summary
Yunmeng Jiang is the most influential cultivation clan in the world, and too powerful for some to stand. Lanling Jin is looking to cut ties, possibly via assassination, in order to lead the opposition. Qinghe Nie fears another Wen Sect expansion, and gratitude for Wei cultivation isn't enough to calm them.
But Wei Ying isn’t the next Baoshan Sanren for nothing, and calming people down isn’t really what he does. He and Lan Zhan spent years mending fences with their families. Now Cloud Recesses and Moon Rabbit Palace stand with Lotus Pier and Nevernight as the new centers of enlightened education, and they’ll defend each other with force if necessary.
