He's hid it very well, but the recent events (specifically: his uncalled for amputation and damage to his knees that's left him pretty much paralyzed) have been far too much for the Varia Boss to bear. Wanting to take matters into his own hands, he follows through with the best plan in his mind.
(Takes place a while post-manga-canon, lots of ocs, really just a fic about growth and healing and healthily developed/dealt with relationships)

Requiem (Noun): An act of remembrance.
It's also something that is impossible when you're told “One day you will forget that Melanie ever existed.” As in you're going to forget your own damn self in a world where no one else even knows you as Melanie, they just know you as Sabina, the newborn sister of a certain wrath flame wielding leader of the Varia.
But, hey as they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Now the only question is if that still applies if you have already died once?
Where do you begin a story that is just like everything else from under that trope? Girl from the real world somehow ends up in the very series she adores. Wacky fun and hijinks ensue. She might even fall in love with one of the characters. Either she dies, ends up going back to the „real“ world or … dunno. I'm not into that kind of story. Except I am. Literally.
