    Bookmarker's Notes

A remix of Bond Status, with the detail of how/why Clint's mark was burned off. Written for me during the Clint/Coulson Remix exchange of 2017.

I just. Oh my god. Everyone needs to read this right the fuck now. So rich and full and better than my own version.

Clint becomes Nat's dad, and so does Phil. Wonderful long read with no dragging. Clint character study.

    Summary

Clint's not really into BDSM, but he is into Phil. It's taken him a while to get comfortable with the idea, but he is willing to try - maybe.

Phil doesn't want to scare Clint away, but he does want to show him how good it can be to let himself surrender like that. He's decided their first scene will be easy, light, and completely non-sexual. He just hopes Clint will enjoy it as much as he knows he will.

Gentle care with D/s overtones without the BDSM. Birthday fic for me!

    Practically perfect in every way.

    Bookmarker's Notes

THE BEST. The best of cche 2015, the best of the telepathy trope, the best characterization, the best snark, the best of trope self-reference.

Love that Clint realizes that Phil is terrified but sounds calm, and that he must have caused Phil true fear many times in their lives and never known it. Love that Phil is badass despite his phobias. Love all of this.
