Summary
Human-android tensions are ratcheting up, even as Jericho does its best to promote a peaceful future. After one particularly vicious attack from humans, Connor and Josh are called back to Detroit to recover until things quiet down again. This should be fine, right? Brown eyes snapped towards Hank. The android’s face twitched, momentarily, before smoothing into something more neutral.
Hank gawked at the passenger in disbelief. "You seriously can’t speak."
It shook its head, a couple of tiny jerks, before fixing its eyes back towards the dash.

Gavin Reed is adjusting just fine to the new world order. He's fine. It's fine. His RK is far more useful than he would ever have imagined, and they're closing cases in record time. Also it's better than Hank's plastic partner, so everything and everyone is settling down after the android revolution.
And then the RK900 went and... shot itself in the middle of the bullpen.
But that's just the start. Red Ice, hackers, android trafficking, Cyberlife, New Jericho, and his partner's suicide-- everything is connected and the rot is so deep it might have already taken hold in Gavin himself.After all, why waste his time on a case without a victim?

Summary
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Hank’s non-alcohol addled brain was reminding him he hadn’t told Connor anything in particular at Stratford Tower. Last he could rightly remember, they were both watching that deviant’s speech and Connor hadn’t shared his thoughts with the detective. Connor had clearly been thinking of something, but of what, Hank couldn’t decipher. A part of him, at the time, had hoped that the deviant’s message had swayed something in Connor. Hank sure felt that it had swayed something in him.
Can androids and humans coexist? As Connor and Hank cope with the rapidly changing political climate of Detroit, their choices threaten what peace the partners have forged.
