After Iwaizumi is knocked out by a volleyball to the face, he discovers he can now see what people are thinking.
Alternatively: Iwaizumi can now read minds but he still can’t pick up on Oikawa’s feelings for him.
When Merlin arrives in Camelot and follows Kilgharrah’s voice to the cave underneath the castle, his first immediate reaction is screw that and he decides to leave the city. What he doesn’t know, is by doing that he ensures that his destiny ends up coming to pass anyway (also known as for whatever reason Arthur gets tossed into his path anyway and hijinks ensue).
“If you are not absolutely a hundred percent sure of this, I’m turning the car and we’re going back to your place,” he stated, and Oikawa jerked, tearing his eyes off the white house he had been staring at to look at him with surprise and a little unease that Iwaizumi ignored. He went on. “I won’t tease you nor I will force you to talk to me, but I need to know you’re certain about this. A hundred percent, and nothing less.”
Iwaizumi has been there to support Oikawa in every moment of his life, so when Tooru is close to have his first time with his boyfriend, Hajime is obviously not too far. Just to make sure nothing goes wrong, and to act accordingly if something does.
Alternatively, just Iwa-chan being a good protective best friend. Or more.

It has been five years and ten days since the death of Uther Pendragon, and five years exactly since Arthur's coronation.
It has been five years and Merlin isn't any less in love with him, Arthur isn't any less of a prat (but only to Merlin, these days), and he still doesn't know about the magic.
For the prompt: Merlin kisses Arthur on the lips right after he says thank you. Merlin feels something pass from him to Arthur and then suddenly Arthur's body is suffused in bright light. Moments later Arthur awakens, his wound healed. Arthur doesn't realize Merlin kissed him, he just thinks he healed him somehow. At first Merlin believes he healed Arthur with his kiss, but soon he starts to suspect that what he passed to Arthur was, in fact, his immortality. Merlin worries Arthur will be angry when he finds out and deem this trespass unforgivable, an utter violation of his person, for who would want to live forever? And surely, if Arthur did want to live forever, he'd choose Gwen or even one of his knights with which to share that never-ending journey.
