Summary
Bill has two parents that love him. He has a dad who smokes too much and tells him to stop crying so much and a mom who gives him alcohol-scented kisses when she remembers he's there at all. He has a grandma who doesn't know the meaning of the word no and as an awfully different definition of love than him. He has a big house that feels empty and that echoes when his parents get into a screaming match. He doesn't have any reason to complain.

Summary
There's no real question of where Ted's going. He knows it'll be the first place anyone thinks to look for him but it's also the only place he can go, so he has to just take it as it is. He realizes as he watches his feet hit the sidewalk that he doesn't know what time it is and it's probably really late and Bill's probably definitely asleep, but he doesn't stop running. Whether that's because he believes Bill will let him in anyway or because something will grab him if he stops is almost inconsequential.

All he knew is that Deacon had taken off at some point with his and Bill’s time machine — and now Rufus had to help him fix it and yadda-yadda, alternate dimensions, something-or-another murder capital. Ted is most troubled about the whole thing. Good thing he gets help fast.
