Summary
In which canon diverged after Pran's transfer when he choose to study music over architecture, much to his parents' ire. His parents force an ultimate on him to pick architecture or pay for his own way through university and to their shock he choose the latter, cuts off all communication with them and spends the next few months living on couches until he can get a job. He starts focusing on his music career and eventually ends up doing stints in cabaret bars, first behind the stage and then on it. He takes a break from cabaret to pursue his own music gigs but the covid pandemic kills that industry stone dead. As things start to open up, Pran casts around for other performance based jobs and stumbles across a casting call for a chorus line at a small downtown cabaret bar. Little does he know that one of the bar's star dancers is none other than Pat.

Summary
They've been covering finite elasticity in one of Pat's materials classes this semester. There are a bunch of equations for calculating the effect of stress and strain on different materials; the likelihood that a material will return to its original size and shape when an external, deforming influence is removed.
Pat likes to think of his and Pran's relationship as elastic, but sometimes, he wants to be plastic for Pran.
